We so wanted to love this hotel, and while it was great in many ways, it also fell short in some. Staff was great, especially Roy at check-in and the Chef at breakfast. Downsides: Hot water ran out at a critical moment when trying to take a shower. Evidently this is a common complaint. Be aware… Also, the advertised indoor pool would have been fantastic - except that it isn’t heated, thus cold as can be. We skipped that. The hotel is right next to I-101 and while the windows are great, there is a bit of ambient noise during the night. Not much. Otherwise this hotel is beautiful, nice and modern, with beautiful furnishings. It is a mere 6 min to Healdsburg and close to other nearby towns. Affordable for sure!

The staff was very nice. The room was fine. But it’s very “okay”—I don’t quite understand why it has such high ratings. My biggest disappointment was that the indoor pool that they publicized as year-round is not heated in the winter, so was way too cold for comfortable swimming in February.

I really fell for the personnel at this hotel. The people were very kind. However, this hotel is in desperate need of refurbishing/updating. Our room had a sink that wouldn't drain. The gentleman at the front desk went up to our room and fixed the problem himself. The magnifying mirror was about to fall off. The toilet paper holder was barely held by a screw on the wall. The carpet had stains and the sofa that was in our room look like it came from the 1980's. My husband said it was adequate for our needs but I guess I expect more. The room was clean. We did not try the breakfast. On our first night back from dinner we thought we'd have a night cap. We were told that the bar was closed in November because it wasn't profitable. Again, I think this facility just needs a major overhaul. I do not think I would stay here again. My niece stayed in a hotel a block away and said their room was awesome. I wish I had booked where they did since it was about the same rate as what we paid.

Like others say this hotel is next to a highway expect car noise.
When getting a room with the suite and sofa bed don’t plan on using the sofa bed, most uncomfortable thing ever. Stains on walls crumbs around the furniture. Maintenance just isn’t kept up to standard. We only stayed for one day worse sleep ever. Never staying in a Holiday in again.

Traveled 3 hours to a family party starting at 2:00 pm. We arrived at 1:30. We were told we had to pay a $50 fee to check in early. We’ve been staying at this hotel for years ( for the same reason.. family parties) and never had this issue. The staff didn’t even say anything about seeing if a room was ready.. just the fee for arriving 1.5 hrs early. Horrible customer service and we will never come back. We got a room two minutes later at a hotel across the street with the same check in time. Nothing about an idiotic fee.

Checking in was interesting. We had two rooms and luckily it was me and my wife and not my in-laws that had a room that was already checked out with another patron. So, walking in on someone else’s room, which was also assigned to us was awkward and made us worried that maybe the same mistake could happen in the middle of the night to us or my in-laws. Otherwise the hotel was in a good location, close to amenities, and good for the price.

None of the side entrances worked so couldn’t enter back in. No fan and temp regulating didn’t work. Extremely loud above us and to the sides of us so didn’t sleep at all. The bed was non supportive so you sank in it like a hammock, my back is messed up now. One of the lights didn’t turn on, there’s no exhaust fan in the bathroom so the steam was crazy after a shower. The toilet roll holder was hanging off the wall. Just over all a bad experience. Definitely not recommended

This is a very nice place. The staff is quite friendly too. The only negative is that they do charge separately for breakfast. So I can't really comment on that. The room was clean, quiet, and comfortable. There's a large shopping center within easy walking distance too with a drug store, supermarket, and several nice restaurants.

I was very disappointed with my stay. The bathroom was in terrible condition—the tile was cracked, the caulking was broken, the paint was chipping, and there was even mold on the tile. For the price, I expected much better maintenance and cleanliness.

The room cleanliness was AWFUL. I would never stay there again. We stayed for 7 days and we actually had MOLD rings in the toilet. Those dont happen in a matter of days. I have to believe it was not even cleaned before we arrived.

Affordable Alternative to Healdsburg

Room was comfy with nice bedding. Didn't love hearing the freeway, but seeing the sky full of hot air balloons above the freeway in the morning almost made up for it. Love proximity to Healdsburg.

Call best friend desk two times in the middle of the night regarding the Texas noise and it didn’t get addressed until after the second call at 2:30 AM. When we shared our disappointment at checkout, they offered access to breakfast vouchers, which we could not use because we had an appointment and needed to see. So they credited the account $25 and would not discuss the situation further or provide a more substantial refund. Given the lack of sleep and attention to our calls, super frustrated that they would not at least split the cost of the evening with us.

I had a suite, i went to the store and came to the room w no stove or hot plate in the room but an open area where it should be . Sofa was broken, I sat down amd literally fell through the couch. The water was ice cold, i was told to run the water for 15 to 20 minutea from shower to get the warm water to come through.

Updated Interior Decor & Soundproof

While it looked like a Holiday Inn on the outside - on the inside, everything has been updated. Its what attracted me to this property in this first place.

I loved the idea of the indoor pool, even though we didn’t get a chance to use it. The beds were really comfortable. There were two different types of pillows and the pillowcases were embroidered “soft” or “firm”.

Generous storage throughout the bedroom - especially appreciated it in the kitchen nook. Plenty of underground parking and the elevators went directly from the second floor of the parking garage to the third floor of the hotel where our room was.

Our room faced the freeway, yet the soundproofing was excellent as we never heard it. We also never heard any noise out in the hallway, such as other guests or room doors closing. The price was reasonable and I would stay here again.
