Farmhouse Inn Getsway

My daughter & I had a 3 day get away to the Farmhouse Inn and the just loved the location, coziness, beautiful garden manicured grounds & the service was impeccable! I plan to bring my hubby there for another getaway. Thank you for the outstanding service. That was most notable.

Our first stay and we will definitely stay again. We love the gardens (I'd never seen so many hummingbirds at one time.), the homely feel, the cleanliness and the quality of food offers at their two dining options. We had breakfast and dinner at the Farmstand. It's near Armstrong Redwoods. We had tastings at Gary Farrell Winery where our tasting fee was waived because we stayed at Farmhouse Inn. We didn't expect that. Thank you! We loved their wine and we had a few bottles shipped home. The only minor issues was that either HVAC or water heater system kicking in at dawn that woke me up but my husband slept through it. :) I'd like to mention that the quality of toiletries offered was superb. I bought a set from the front desk. Also thank you for the \"welcome\" bottle of wine and chocolates. This place takes the world \"HOSPITALITY\" seriously. I highly recommend them. This was our first visit in Sonoma and we will keep Farmhouse Inn in our sweet memories. We will be talking about it for a long time. Thank you so much, Joe. It was nice meeting you and chatting with you for a bit at the fire pit. We truly enjoyed our stay.

We had a delightful last minute stay at the property. The staff was welcoming and pleasant. We enjoyed s'mores by the fire and an outdoor movie with popcorn. Wish we could have stayed longer. They have a couple Tesla chargers too.

We had a wonderful time. We enjoyed swimming in the pool and having breakfast at Farmstand. All of the staff was friendly and courteous. We also liked having a car available to drive us to Healdsburg for dinner and enjoyed talking with Avery, the driver. The area surrounding the inn is just gorgeous!

This property is beautiful. I was disappointed in the value of the room. it was very expensive and did not really warrant the cost. An example is that the room had a lovely bathtub but was never told I need to go to the front check in area to get the bathtub amenities. (which makes zero one to me). Although the room was large the smaller rooms were much more \"warm\". I would definitely would recommend the Inn - just stay in the regular rooms. They are a lot nicer.

Amazing Wine Country Getaway

Even with Covid limiting some services here our stay was fantastic! I booked this for my 30th Birthday and a mini baby moon, so glad I did! We felt catered to, and pampered out entires stay. No corners were cut even with the smoke in the area that day. Dinner from their Michelin star restaurant was in room and divine! They even had \"elixir\" pairings that mimiced wine, absolutely loved that. Breakfast was amazing and the pastries were divine! I will definitely be back when the spa services are back up and running. 5 stars all around! Great grounds, great staff, and impeccable rooms that make you feel pampered and welcomed. Thank you Farmhouse Inn!

Great getaway!

We went to the Farmhouse for a ‘moms over night’ to celebrate my besties 34th bday. We were welcomed with wine tasting and homemade bath scrub. It was wonderful. Even with recent covid shut downs we were able to eat outside on the patio from the Farmstand food truck. It was delicious. Gourmet. Yum! Everything was very clean, they took great safety precautions (everyone was wearing masks, contactless check in and out, space oak distancing) and made us feel comfortable. Will definitely return with my hubby for an anniversary wine getaway!

Farmhouse Inn is a hidden gem, with charming rooms and beautifully landscaped grounds with lots of vignettes featuring water features or fireplaces. Service was good, and the room was very clean. Those with vertigo should know that the floors aren't level and the bed leaned to one side. My only real complaint was the restaurant food. Four of us ate breakfast and all thought the food was very bland. One of us even commented the BACON was not that great!

A must visit during your wine country trip!

From the minute we walked in, every detail was handled with care. Personal welcome notes, our luggage was carried from the car to our room while we tasted local wines.
The cookies with turndown service were incredible. The room had everything and was cute and interesting.
Our stop after leaving was an animal rescue and the restaurant gave us a giant box of scraps for the farm animals- who greatly appreciated it!
We used the soaps and took some home.
What a wonderful place!

Luxurious and Beautiful

Amazing- a wonderful, luxurious stay. The room with the outdoor patio was spacious, with the comfortable bed and beautifully done. Make sure to spend a little extra and take a larger room with the balcony. We got spoilt with the most delicious daily cookies, an indoor outpost fire place and luxurious bath and body products. The steam room and jacuzzi/tub in the bath were great. A heated pool and a fireplace, and a wonderful spa in house just about sums up what you need on a get away.

The dinner at the in house restaurant was spectacular - the chef and his team are amazing. Must do if you stay here or are visiting.

The room is clean, service is great. I use the restaurant for breakfast, and the next day I have room service. Both are great. The in-room amenities are great - Jacuzzi bathtub, in room sauna. The pool area is nice and you can make your own s'mores too.

Such a disappointment :(

We were so disappointed with this hotel. The room interiors were stylish but apart from that everything was not at all what you would expect sadly. For the price we paid for the top grade of room (over $1000 per night) it was certainly not worth it. It felt like a slightly more upmarket basic motel situated just off a main road. We were originally put in a ground floor room at the back of the property (but moved) which was incredibly dark and the deck was literally in the woodland with hardly any light during the daytime. Not to mention it was very noisey as you could hear the generator in the room even with the doors closed. It's not peace and quiet on the property which is what you would expect. The restaurant was very disappointing and the breakfast even more so, cold eggs 2 out of 3 days and messed up orders. The hotel did apologise by leaving us a bottle of sparkling wine in our room but we returned it when we checked out. You also have to book in breakfast time the day before which is pretty annoying. The pool was nice but pretty basic, loungers comfy. No bar facilities at all so you could not get a drink which was a real shame. For the price I'd certainly expect a bar somewhere on the property. The hairdryer didn't work properly as it would go in and out of being on the highest setting and the shower head rail kept on falling off. We also had cleaners in early during breakfast and came back with equipment everywhere in the room. They should clean at a reasonable hour a

Surprisingly disappointing :(

I was overall very disappointed. For the cost, I just expected to be wowed, and our room was decently furnished, but the wall/floor finishes and fixtures were mediocre at best and outdated. The bathroom was completely underwhelming and the whole thing was truly a letdown. I have stayed in MUCH nicer rooms for less than half the price of this hotel. Unfortunately, this was for my honeymoon and I actually wanted to check out the second night I was so disappointed. The \"complimentary\" breakfast was awkward and unprofessional, and multiple people were loudly complaining. They ran out of meat entirely and they nickel and dime you if you want an extra glass of juice or an egg. It was all just poorly executed (not the food, the food was fine, it's the service and availability that was very off). I still am not sure how this hotel has such high ratings unless the other people stayed in a different room. We were in a King Cottage Suite, and it is obvious that those rooms are older and need remodeling. I do not recommend the cottages. There was a sauna in the room (an odd and fairly valueless thing to have), I wish they had left out the sauna and spent the money on nicer finishes and higher ceilings. I will not be returning to this hotel.

Wine Country Perfection

The Farmhouse Inn is the perfect getaway for couples seeking luxury, attention to detail and relaxation. Everything at the Inn is considered for the guests' comfort and pleasure, from the fantastic complementary gourmet breakfast to the fresh cookies and milk and s'mores kits for enjoyment either in your own casita at your personal fireplace, or under the stars at the fire pit! The beds are among the most comfortable I have slept in, the spa service is beyond personal, and the concierge/staff service is incredible. We will definitely return!

Best place ever!

Farmhouse Inn is a premium inn, but it is worth it! From our arrival and check-in through check out, everyone we encountered was friendly and welcoming. The food - both the included breakfasts and dinner - was delicious. Chocolate chip cookies were as good as reported on the website. Our room was spectacular and comfortable, and visits from Charlotte, the farm cat were welcomed. The roses were all blooming and the gardens were spectacular. It is the ideal spot for a special occassion or just to get away and recharge.

We will definitely be back!

One of the best luxury experiences in a long time

I travel the world for business and am privileged to stay at the best hotels around the world. I must say that the service, anenities and details at Farmhouse were on par with the best I have ever experienced. Everything from the exceptional 2 course complimentary breakfast, complimentary soap/bath bar, nighttime cookies/smores, complimentary wine tastings, restaurant reservations, and check-out gift was superb. Not to mention the people!! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will definitely be back.

The most charming little Inn with exceptional food!

Fabulous little Inn - breakfasts and dinner were absolutely exceptional. Room was small, but charming and cozy - even had a built in sauna. Loved every minute!
