Excellent staff and cleanliness top notch! This boutique hotel makes good use of space and the ergonomics are well thought out. A small stool would be appreciated for use when putting shoes on would be appreciated. I enjoyed the pool and sitting area which is particularly pleasant in the evenings.

Only bath towels were provided, no face clot or hand towels. Shower was open (wet-bath?) so water was sprayed and floors were wet. Location is in the Red-Light district about 25 min walk to Little India and 45min walk to Chinatown.
Hotel workers were friendly and helpful though.
Rates were cheap- you get what you pay

Overall a great experience, hotel is in a good location 10 min walk away from two different metro stops/bus stops. The room was good for our needs, somewhere to sleep - however there was some mould around the A/C. Despite this everything else was great, staff are really friendly and helpful, our room was cleaned and stocked each day.

My room felt damp - on my last day I came in to see my walls were wet and drops of water covered the walls. The carpet was damp and so the bed felt damp and all my luggage. I rang and the Maintenance man was there very quickly, said to open the outside door but as I pointed out I couldn’t - he looked and he couldn’t. He mopped the walls and put the air con to 16 degrees which if course was too cold. I bought ear plugs to sleep at night. My cleaning lady for the first 4 nights was wonderful / the other lady on day before I left was not. Reception staff were not that welcoming - usually busy talking to each other or not at reception. Wouldn’t stay again.

Older hotel close to metro

This hotel was a bit on the dated side and clearly hadn’t been renovated in a long time. The room itself appeared clean, just not the nicest room. Room was fairly small and didn't have a lot of space for two people. Bed was adequate, but pillows weren’t very comfortable nor were the sheets. The pool area looked quite different than the pictures. It was pretty small and not maintained great as the wall seemed ‘unclean’ and chairs were scattered about. It felt a bit squished into the space. Hotel was conveniently located from metro station.

I’m a solo traveller and For me being close to MRT is important plus having an outdoor space that way if the room is small it’s like an extension of the room plus I just find it more relaxing. Anyway this time I decided I’d like a pool as well so this hotel with the pool access was a perfect fit. The distance to Lavender MRT was probably 2 minutes longer than I’d normally like but I’m nitpicking….so approx 7 min walk from MRT to hotel. The hotel will tell you to cross the road and follow the canal up to the main road to go to the MRT which I did for the first 3 days but then I explored the area and discovered that if I cut through the apartment buildings there were actually shops , food courts and a shopping centre so REMEMBER TO ALWAYS WALK AROUND THE NEIGHBORHOOD❕ It’s also only a few min walk to Little India. I would definetly stay here again.

Over all this hotel is very good value for money. Adequate size room (we paid extra for balcony). Fridge, coffee machine and kettle with complimentary tea, coffee, biscuits, snacks and soft drinks.
Short walk to Lavendar (East West Line) and Jalan Besar (Downtown Line).
Several supermarkets close by.

Windows not double glazed so quite a bit of traffic noise, although we did get used to it.
Towels could be replaced and upgraded.

From looking at the photo's when booking the hotel to actually entering the hotel , wow all I can say is they must have used photo shop for editing.
Reception is small but at least the receptionist was ok and inviting.
On going into the room it was dark with all the curtains drawn most of the time we had to have a light on to see.
Once we opened the curtains we could see why ! High rise flats looking directly into the hotel rooms even in the toilets and shower, if the blinds weren't down you gave a peep show .
The room was clean but the amenities were poor as there were two of us in the room but only tea and coffee for one and not only for one person but for one brew .
The wallpaper was dirty and at the bottom hanging off.
To be perfectly honest my wife said it seemed a very sleezy hotel only ment for night callers .
We went for a swim in the hotel pool and felt like we were part of a peep show because the high rise flats opposite overlooks the pool, you could see men and women pretending to be doing something so they could watch you rather swim or sunbathe, my wife felt so uncomfortable.
In the room also I found the safe in the wardrobe which didn't work and after asking the receptionist about it he just didn't seem bothered until I raised my voice to get him to do something about it.
Everyday we had trouble getting into the room with the electric card, the card was fine but the door handles itself wouldn't open the door .
Again we had a very poor response from reception.

It was quite noisy outside my room - you could hear something being repeatedly closed or dropped and it disturbed my sleep. It was also noisy when staff vacuumed the hallway outside. The carpets in the hallway looked quite old and stained, and they could have done a better job cleaning the walls in the bathroom. There was also no desk in the single standard room I got. The location is not bad, though.

It's a great hotel with beautiful interior design and very clean room, I thoroughly enjoyed my 4D3N stay here. The free mini bar is pleasant surprise. The hotel is strategically located near Lavender train station and bus stops so it's very easy for me to get around as a solo traveller. The only down side during my stay was the noise after midnight due to its location next to some night clubs or pubs, was a wrong decision to have a room with a window.

I took a solo trip to Singapore and I' very happy I chose to stay at this hotel. It was close to the Lavender St. MRT system. The area is safe and clean with food vendors nearby. My room was very clean with a great bathroom and tv. The bed was very comfortable. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Great attitudes and service for sure. I will definitely stay here again.

The only downside would be the bar located beside/under the hotel in the same building. The noise from the patrons was quite loud and carried on until 2 AM.
Pool was great although a bit hard to get into and felt strange having people in their rooms 2 feet away watching you swim.
Very friendly and helpful staff. The standard room is comparable to that of the UK so we booked a larger room which was ok but the bed was right next to the balcony door and one person had to climb up and over to get in as there was not sufficient space to walk around.
overall we would recommend this location for a short stay. close to grocery, bus and metro stops.

This is a nice hotel. Compact, clean and with friendly staff. My room was small but clean and cozy and the bathroom was pretty good. Room had a cupboard, kettle and mini fridge which is very convenient.
The size of the room didn't bother me because I spent most of the day visiting around the city.

The hotel is a short walk from the Lavender metro station and is located roughly between the Arab Street and Little India neighborhoods. There are plenty of restaurants and groceries nearby.

Overall I had a good stay and would be happy to book this hotel again.
