All the rooms in this hotel has no windows. None of them, on all three floors.

Not advisable for those who suffer from claustrophobia.

Expedia property details fail to mention this, in fact, it stated that the property had black out drapes, windows, window guards etc. I was shocked when I arrived at the hotel that all the rooms in this hotel was windowless.

I paid top dollar, because it was the weekend of the Grand Prix and definitely not worth the money I paid but ... lessons learnt the hard way.

The friendly and helpful receptionist made our stay bearable.

適合找街邊小吃店的旅客，會有點小吵，對面是卡拉ok ，可是環境很清潔，酒店已經盡量做安靜隔音了，至於環境到處都有香薰，很不錯，可是提供的都是各種飲料零食，如果要盛飲用水的話，機器有點供應不能太多.

Great location but so Small Pictures are Deceiving

The hotel is in a great location. The bed was VERY comfortable. The staff was very nice and helpful. The free minibar was a nice addition. However, the pictures on the website are very deceiving. This is about the smallest hotel room for 2 people without having a bunkbed instead of a bed. Our room also had a connecting door to the next room. Unfortunately, our neighbor had a small child that cried and yelled when talking and we could hear EVERYTHING. You cannot walk around the bed. My husband had to crawl over me to get out. It looks like there is a separate shower, this is not the case. The shower head is in the middle of the bathroom between the toilet and the sink. We were disappointed considering what this hotel cost per night. If you are paying less than $80 American per night, then I think that is would be fare. We paid $167. per night.

Compact, not like the photos or worth the price!

We stayed here for 8 nights, but only chose the hotel because the one we booked had a security/scam alert 3 weeks out and we had to switch.

We went during the week before the Singapore F1, so everything was up in price, but at nearly $280 per night, it was definitely not worth the price.

The room was compact, functional, and it worked okay because we weren’t in the room very often. But overall disappointing and we would not choose to stay there again unless it was for 1 night.

The pros:
1. Location - so easy for MRT/Bus, right near Arab Street and was super safe. Despite having a nightclub across the road, and surrounded by hostels, we never heard anything.
2. The friendly staff - we were greeted every day, and they were super helpful.
3. Free mini bar - this was restocked daily.
4. Air con - thought this had to run all day/night, and if it was turned off, the room became so hot after about 5 minutes.

The cons: Everything else!!
1. Nothing like the photos, we were in a Basic room, but even the photos on the website did not represent the actual room. We didn’t realise the shower was over the toilet, it was so compact and water just went everywhere.
2. Lack of storage
3. Mould in the bathroom
4. Only 1 towel per person (though we could try and get towels upon request if they had any at the front counter)
5. Hot water went cold after about 3 minutes in the shower
6. The bed was up against the wall so one of us had to crawl in and out of bed.

Great service from the friendly staff they are wonderful. Sadly the hotel facilities are quite run down and the rooms are very noisey as the hotel is just down the road from a mosque. Rooms are very small, and not many have windows. Not much space to unpack a suitcase and no desk space if you plan to do some work. Terrace is not particularly nice either. Carpets could do with a thorough clean. Mini bar was well stocked and complimentary and water dispenser was a great touch.

The walls were paper thin, we were able to hear others snoring. Had leftover snacks from previous people and the coffee cups were still dirty. There were stains on the bed sheets. Instead of fixing a hole in the bathroom, there was shoddy patch work. The rooms were much smaller than those in the pictures.

Hotel staff showed no flexibility or empathy for their customers, not to mention unhelpful. Our flight got cancelled 24 hours to departure, so we could not fly to Singapore thus could not check into the accommodation. Reached out to the hotel who repeatedly stated that the booking was non-refundable, which I do understand however, should there not be some level of flexibility given we could not get into the country? The cancelled flight was completely out of my control and it was stressful enough trying to find alternative flights home, let alone dealing with inconsiderate hotel staff refunding to refund the full payment we had made. It was not the fact that I had simply changed my mind, I physically could not fly into the country to check in. In this post covid era where lockdowns and cancelled flights are increasingly common, there needs to be some consideration given on case by case scenarios, rather than a blanket statement of 'you booked a non-refundable room'. The Formula 1 Racing was also on that weekend, therefore it was highly likely that they resold our room after we advised we could not check in, whilst also withholding our payment for the same room. Double payment for 1 room. Well done. The hotel staff also tried to palm us of to Expedia, telling us to seek a refund through Expedia instead. However Expedia staff were more than efficient in trying to resolve this and coordinate with the hotel to get us a refund. The resistance was all coming from hotel level.

One of the worst hotels I've ever stayed in. The room was tiny and freezing, the aircon couldn't be turned off, I slept in all my clothes. The room had no soundproofing and was opposite a nightclub with no soundproofing, it was impossible to sleep. Utterly miserable.

Room is small, like most in Singapore, but very clean and updated. We had connecting rooms with 2 baths. So really nice. The location is close to train stations and food options (about 15min. walk). We walked everywhere or took the train. We were out all day, so no need for fancy hotel. A nice stay.

It was a happy moment when we arrived at the hotel...we even upgraded to a bigger room bcos the room we booked was quite small...everything went well until a mishap came upon us...to be very careful when using the toilet...the floor was slippery...I slipped & fell...just a precaution to take note...especially if u come with small children...
Nonetheless...the bed in the room was comfortable...I had a good rest...
Just to convey my thanks to the auntie cleaner we met when we arrived at the hotel...she was very warm welcoming us...thank u.

Musky mouldy room :(

Was really super disappointed with their room. The room had a super musky mouldy smell that got into our heads & lingered on our clothes after a while. It wasn't a pleasant experience as there were many cobwebs on the headboard. We also killed 2 spiders in our few hours of stay there.

The room was ultra small for the price paid. The toilet was ultra small but had a bidet, so one plus point. Also, the front desk lady was super nice!

Overall we're quite displeased with the room, highly doubt we'll return :(

Great little hotel 2 blocks from mrt station. Reception staff were outstanding and great attitude and eager to help. Room was clean and bathroom quite new . Food places within 1 min walk and lots of good food. Only downside is there nightclub/ karaoke bar right opposite my room which goes to early hours didn’t really worry me cause I was up anyway getting home. Would probably pev some people off. Overall for the price it’s a great place . I’ll stay again

The guest service was amazing. The check in process went very smoothly and the employees were so helpful and welcoming.

The room was clean and the bathroom was very clean as well. Everything felt clean from the bed sheets to the towels to the sink and counters.

The area was nice as well. A short walk from Bugis station. The area has a beautiful mosque and great local food.

One comment was that our room did not have a window. I thought there would be one from one of the pictures but ours did not have a window. There was skylight that let in some natural light. But overall it was not a big deal since the room did not feel claustrophobic at all. Just something to consider if you expect a window.

Overall I would recommend this place to everyone.

The soundproofing in this hotel is non-existent, I could hear everything every other person is doing (coughing, sneezing, moaning, talking...etc). A lot of commotion around the corridor in the mornings, cleaning lady, people checking out... again making sleep difficult. There was also leakage in the sink (inside the room) so the floor was wet when I came back and there’s ants everywhere. The room is tiny and the photos were misleading. I didn’t know the room had no window and I wouldn’t have booked if I knew. There is also no bottled water provided. Lastly the shower is good but the hot water doesn’t last more than 5 minutes. Just make sure to not take your time.

This is my 4th stay at this hotel. Great location near Bugis juction which is has so many restaurants and also near MRT. For this time i’m not happy about my room that much cause i found some stuff from previous customer on the top of bed i think it’s a scarf and socks!!! I really disappointed (Room 303!). And this room has no refri last time I stayed another room with the same price it had.

Nice spot in Bugis!

This is a nice small hotel in Bugis. Great location! Close to Hajji Lane, Arab Street and Bugis MRT. Hotel staff is super friendly and helpful. Rooms are a bit small, but the bed is comfortable and room was clean. Breakfast was included and not on the property. We were sent to a Malay place around the corner where breakfast was incredible! However don’t expect a Western Breakfast. Pay close attention to the room choices and amenities they come with. We thought we got a nice value for the money we paid!

A no-fuss hotel.

A no-fuss hotel. Probably good if you are going to stay the night, but not for relaxing in the room (staycation). TV reception was spotty, there were drilling/construction in the afternoon, and the shower couldn't keep the hot water for long. Walking around near the hotel at night would be quite stinky as well. As the place is situated at an area where there are pubs around, and I was unfortunate to smell and see puke.

A Decent Hotel

The room was clean and functional, though the layout was a little strange. The shower was a rain shower and not hand held, and it's position right at the door. I am a little OCD in terms of wet/dirty flooring. You'll have to walk pass the shower floor in order to get to the toilet seat. Insufficient storage/table space, and only one power plug by the tv, and 1' above the ground by the entrance door; none by the bed. Having said that, we loved how this hotel had very helpful concierge staff and the little perks - ie. Handy device, pocket wifi SGD 8, water, foc canned drinks + oreos, EZ Link card, power bank, umbrella on loan. Hotel location was quite central as well. Overall, a decent hotel.

PROS:
- All of the staff were EXTREMELY NICE. Above and beyond friendly!!
- They have a free mini bar with a few drinks and snacks.
- Located less than 500m away from the Bugis MRT station. (You can get the Unlimited Tourist Passes from this station which are good for MRT & most buses)
- A beautiful mosque is located a block away along with Arab St which has many Halal Arabic/Indian restaurants including some well-known ones.

CONS:
- Too many noise issues!!!
- They are currently performing VERY NOISY, ROOM-SHAKING construction daily on the property between the hours of 9:00am - 8:00pm.
- A beautiful mosque is located a block away. This means you get [5] Salahs (Call to prayer) performed very loud daily! The first one is usually around 4:30am and will most likely wake you up unless you are a VERY heavy sleeper! The last one is around 8:00pm. It is VERY loud and disturbing if that is not your thing.
- There are a few \"clubs\" located on the same street so if you have a windows on that street, you may hear music throughout the night.
- The rooms are TINY. You get what you pay for!

OVERALL:
Unfortunately, I wouldn't ever return to this hotel or recommend it to anyone due to the noise issues. I know the construction should be completely soon so that will be one less distraction, but I would check directly before booking. If you have any issues with noise, I would avoid this hotel at all costs. I feel bad writing this review considering the staff, but it was just too much.

Small but good room.

The location is good. It is very close to a famous attraction (Masjid Sultan Mosque), a bus stop and a 7-eleven convenience store so I can buy a sim card easily. Bugis MRT station is within walking distance. In front of the hotel there are paintings on the wall so the hotel itself is an attraction.The receptionist helped me to take a nice photo there.

The room is really small, but all I need is just a private space, a bed and a private bathroom so there is no complaint. It was quiet when I stayed there. I didn't hear anything from the rooms next door. You may found the sink in the main room weird but it is fine. I can drink directly from it or get water into the kettle to make coffee or tea (they are free).

What I like the most is the offered-to-borrow Handy phone in the room with 4G connection. With this, you don't actually need to buy an own 4G sim card to use google map.

The woman and the man at the reception didn't talk much but they are friendly. I will stay here again.

Hotel nuve is really value for money and convenient to main shopping area bugis and cultural arab street and mosque area. Eat prata around here, it’s one of the best Singapore has to offer. Prata for supper in a very safe environment at midnight is such a luxury you cannot experience in other countries.

But i asked housekeeping staff for a pillow which did not arrive so my boyfriend had to go to the counter to ask again.

Overall it is really clean and amenities such as toilet shower tv r all really modern n elegant.

The room quite small but it’s not a big deal. No window so it’s made me a feel cramped. I got room no.204 and it’s great than I expected (I requested for 2nd floor). The wall is thin but i have no problem about it.

The staff gave us a connecting room. In the next room, was a family with a baby. We can hear the conversations and cries clearly. Not only that.... Even the shower and the flushing of toilet can be heard. The snotting of nose as well. It sucks. Dont come here! I am utterly disappointed in this experience!

My stay at Hotel Nuve was reasonable. 1. However, the walls have to be thicker, I was disturbed by the noise that were generated by the next room(especially when our rooms had conjoining door).
2. I had booked a Classic room but the room that was presented to me seems to be a Basic room. Slightly disappointed by it.

Comfortable & good value hotel in interesting area

This is a small hotel which is quite cheap for Singapore. While the rooms are tiny (and probably only suitable for one person) they are functional with a comfortable bed and good shower. My room had no windows (think most rooms would be the same) but that meant it was dark so great for sleeping in.

Staff at reception were really helpful and the cleaning staff seemed to be very thorough.

The best thing though is that it is located in a really interesting area in Bugis - a large mosque, the Malay Heritage Museum, Arab Street and all the other interesting shop front streets are just a few minutes away. As are a number of large shopping centres. It is also only a 5 minute walk from Bugis Station on the East West line that goes to Changi airport.

Location wise it's very nice with walking distance to Bugis, Haji Lane and trains. There is a mosque nearby which does a morning prayer call which could wake you up if you are not a morning person.

Budget friendly hotel

This is a budget friendly no thrills hotel outside of city center. The rooms are modest and fulfill exactly what we needed, a place to sleep after a long day of exploring. The staff are friendly, patient, and willing to assist.

Small but good value for money in Singapore

Small hotel in a central location to MRT shopping mall and eating areas. Friendly staff and good WIFI. we used the underground train every day to get to China town, Little India, Sentosa, marina bay. We were disappointed with our room.It was the smallest room I have stayed in. We had the room adjacent to the reception desk and was a bit noisy in the mornings. It was the handicapped room. Our bed was surrounded by 3 walls so it was fun getting in and out of bed etc. had a few laughs. A suggestion to the management please supply xtra towels or bath mats as the bathroom floor does get very wet and you need one as you step out as well.

Comfortable stay!

Our first impression was that the rooms were rather small, but then again, that is to be expected for the price we paid. The rooms were clean and their staff are friendly. In each room, guests are provided with a \"handy phone\" to use during their stay. You can use it as your own mobile phone, taking pictures, making calls and checking out information about what to do in Singapore. We had ants in the first room we were given, and the air conditioning wasn't working well. However when we informed Ms. Doris (the receptionist) about this, she was very helpful and was able to move us to another room. The beds were firm and comfortable, and the minibar is complimentary too! The location is excellent a the hotel is surrounded by restaurants, and it's less than 10 minutes from the Bugis MRT station and shopping mall. We also asked for a second key card, which was willingly provided by the hotel staff. We would definitely stay here again.
One thing you should know is that the rooms do not have windows, per se. The windows are high up and exist for the purpose of letting light into the room. You can't look out of them. So if this bothers you, you may like to consider other places. If not, this is a good choice if you're looking for a clean, comfortable and affordable place to stay in Singapore.

Great location, a few drawbacks but good value.

This place has its charms and has its drawbacks. The service is amazing, everyone we spoke with in the lobby was so nice and always helpful.
The location is way too good to ignore, only minutes from Bugis station and a few more minutes to the massive Bugis shopping centres which we spent a lot of time at. Heaps of food places around, with loads of choice and good prices. Very close by 7 Eleven.
Little things like a nice lobby, the water dispenser, the Handy smartphone some rooms come with make for a pleasant stay.
The main drawback is the size. The rooms are insanely small. Opening your suitcase is a struggle. The bathrooms are also more like a shower cubicle with a toilet in it, you are quite on top of the toilet when you take your shower. But the pressure is good and the water nice and warm.
The attention to detail in cleaning could be better, we had marks on the toilet, a hair on our towel and we had to ask for a new fitted sheet as the elastic had well and truly gone on the one we had.
We also asked for a new room because there were bugs in our first one but I imagine this is a SNG wide issue to tackle and they were very fast and accomodating when we asked to switch.
We bought very late in the peace so got quite a large discount which made this place very good value for money. I\m not sure would I come back at full price but with another discount I would consider again, purely for the location alone!

Boutique hotel in the heart of Bugis

This is a boutique hotel so there really isn't much to expect. The room size is very small, as expected from Singapore. You cannot lay your luggage out at all, sink is outside, toilet and shower are together. That being said, I found it quite cosy. However, we did find a bit of ants near the sink which was offputting. They provide you with a phone which has discounts and they're good discounts except for the fact that the phone is so slow. Its a very short walk to Bugis MTR and surrounding markets/shopping centres.

We stayed here for 2 nights. We like the location and the cleanliness of hotel. It's walkable distance from mrt and located in a quiet area with a lovely coffee shop next door. It's also very close to a bus stop so we sometimes choose to take a bus as it's more comfortable. Staffs were helpful.

Hotel with friendly staff

Stayed only 1 night. Hotel staff is excellent. Surprisingly our room has a handicap bathroom (in a small hotel). Hotel is just a few minutes walk from a subway station.

Quiet hotel with clean amenities. Daniel was very helpful and accommodating in front desk. The free cellphone loan with unlimited internet and local calls was a big help in cutting communication costs. Hotel amenities were basic but quality; besides we were not looking for much since we planned to be out exploring the city. Hotel is 5 mins walk from bus and train station and close to local shops and restaurants.

Stay in hotel for 3 day, this hotel near near mrt bugis station about 5-600 meter . You can shopping at bugis junction, bugis plus, buy souvenirs at bugis village and go back to hotel to leave your belonging. It's comfortable.

No second time

The room has no window. The bathroom sink is locate next to the end of the bed. There are some small bugs crawling around the sink and table cause it's wet most of the time. The toilet seat is with the shower so after the shower the floor and the seat is all wet. At the first night, the technician came to our room alone with a ladder and a Huge vacuum said that He needed to fix the leaking of the air-con (which we didn't complain).....And the air-con is located on top of our bed. Isn't it nonsense to fix something when the guess is already check in the room?! And what about the dust and dirt?! And they didn't offer us another room instead. Geez!

Staff excellent, great location with so much to do and see. 10 minute walk to bugis station. Rooms are small but it is advertised on the booking so it was expected. Overall, loved this hotel and would recommend to anyone.
