Old, worn, tired lodge, stained pillows, worn mattress, the hot pools so very much advertised to enjoy according to brochure are payable!!! Misleading photos, take them down. 60% of the washing machines and dryers were 'out of order'. Asked for a cabin and got a 'downgrade' to a 2 bunk bed, 6 dorm room, thankfully to ourselves, noisy neighbours, noisy doors, never staying again.

Reception very friendly & helpful. Room was very basic, but comfortable. Shared toilet, shower & basin facilities were clean & functional. We got caught out that the communal kitchen hsd no pans or utensils - which makes sense as a campsite, but was unlike either backpackers' hostels or other campsite cabin stays we've had. It's understandable, but you need to be aware in advance. Buying a meal out removes the cost advantage.

Kitchen was not clean, it seemed they simply refolded up the top bed covers for the next person instead of washing them. Rooms were very small and basic as expected. We left one day early (non refundable). Wouldn’t use this brand again!

Unlike the other Top 10 holiday parks, they charge $5 for cookingware, that’s fine. Th problem is there was too much noise. There were a couple of groups singing, yelling, playing cards in the kitchen from 2-5am during our stay.

We had a standard cabin which was fine for one night and was close to the restaurants in town. Washroom facilities were spotless and there are lots of walks to do in the area. Our only complaint was that there was a very loud group in the cabin next to us, drinking until early hours. Due to the close proximity of the cabins it’s a bit of a lottery with your neighbours.

When I book the this hotel, I accidentally put wrong month. I immediately call Expedia and hotel try to get fix, the Expedia stuff said they tried but failed. I called the manger of hotel but never get answer back. So I can only give up and paid full money and can’t be there at all.

Disaster and worst Top 10 holiday park
The worst Top 10 holiday park that I have stayed (5-6 of them). I should have stayed in other motels (a lot are cheaper and better just nearby). You need to pay and pay, rent (kitchen set) else nothing in the communal kitchen, one microwave was down and no one came to repair, no bath towel - only for rent, Only one common GENT with 2 toilet cubicles and 2 shower rooms only (to be shared among all the cabins & caravans (could be more than 20 man and boys during my stay - formed a queue in the Gent, no hairdryer for Gent, ran out of toilet paper in one cubicle and NO replacement for 2 days; ladies - 3 toilet cubicles only, hairdryer is blowing cold air only.... Is this DOC campsite???

We had a Milford Sound cruise scheduled for the next day and had some difficulty finding lodging in either Franz Joseph or Fox Glacier. We were able to book a kind of cottage at the Fox Glacier TOP 10 Holiday Park. The rooms was excellent, but expensive. Our only issue was that apparently the water was unsafe to drink in Fox Glacier. The Top 10 park provided UV-treated drinking water in the shared kitchen so that took care of the problem for us.

I was a bit nervous to stay at a hostel/motorpark type facility like this, but I was highly impressed. We rented a facility that came with its own bathroom and kitchen. It was exactly what we needed. It was clean, comfortable and easy to find (even when we arrived late in the dark). The staff were able to leave us all the information and cabin key in their late arrival key box. The gentlemen who runs the property was still there and nice enough to wake up and help us. Wonderful property. Wonderful staff. Would definitely recommend.

Nice caravan park. With clean spacious facilities. We stayed in one of the cabins and would stay there again. However, it would be nice to have had fly screens on the windows as it was quite warm when we were there and there are sandflies which bite.

The manager doesnt have \"word of honour\". She never arranged for pickingup and dropping us to the bus terminal as she promised. Supposed i want to cancel my booking la sdt August as i found a hotel mych nearest to the terminal but she promised me that asrangement. We had many baggage, i called her and emailed her 3 days before to remind her but still no oine tgere and when we arrived, tge staffs doesnt know.. tge room is so old and not clean..my kuds get itchy bites. Now we are worried about this flies bites..is crawling on my kids body..how it will sortout???
