Starting with check-in, there was an angry looking man who appeared to be a supervisor/manager of sorts who was speaking with the other employees instead of having someone help us.

Breakfast was the same menu everyday. There has a decent variety but overall lacked a bit of flavor.

I would like state the staff that cleaned our room always did a great job and were friendly and courteous anytime we saw them.

Now, at checkout as I was trying to approach the front. A man who appeared to be the same supervisor/manager was standing in the front. No greeting at all and just gave me an angry stare, if you don’t like your job or don’t like foreigners then he should find a new job. Then the lady at the desk who checked me out was clearly unhappy about something and rude. Same for her as well, if you are so unhappy about providing service for people please go find a new job and stop ruining people’s day. It left a really bad taste in my mouth and you can be sure that our family will not return to this hotel when we go back to Nagoya.

But on November 20th between 10am to 1pm. There was a lady who helped me with shipping my luggage and a young gentleman. I would like to say they were extremely friendly, helpful and courteous.

Had a pleasant stay. Staffs were friendly. Only downside was the bathroom as it is open concept, if only there's a heater to warm the shower room before use (floor tiles were too cold even for adults) and when travelling with a young child, their comfort is very important. The view was amazing.

The hotel and room were incredible - spotlessly clean & very modern. Staff were also friendly and helpful, and the hotel has amazing views over the city, while also being close to the metro station.
However, beware of getting a drink at the bar here. We went for a quick nightcap before bed one day, and the service was incredibly slow (especially as there were only 2 other groups in, who already had their drinks). We were also sat at the bar, when other guests were sitting at tables, next to the windows with fantastic views. When we left, I saw a cover charge had been added of 1000 yen per head, which almost doubled the cost of the bill. As we sat at the bar, were hotel guests and had terrible service, this cover charge didn't feel fair, especially as we weren't warned. It really tainted our stay sadly.

결혼기념일로 나고야 여행, 방이 넓고 경치 좋은 곳으로 선택. 연휴가 끼어서 금엑 오름. 하루밤 평균 40만원 정도, 체크인때는 기념일 선물도 주고, 가장 경치좋은방 배정이라 매우 기분 좋았음. 그런데 방에서 커피 머신 고장이고, 목욕탕 배수는 시원찮아 결국 방 교체 요청, 바뀐 방은 다시 고장난 커피머신 새걸로 바꿔준다며 시간소비. 처음에 전망 좋던 방은 더 후진 곳이 되고 심지어 남동쪽 방향이라 아침애 햇빛 땜에 암막쳐도 눈부시고, 커튼 걷으면 너무 눈부셔 제대로 경치도 보지 못함. 시내 풍경도 없어서 결국 생돈 내고 망한 기분, 다신 안 가겠음, 교통도 의외로 불편하고 걸어야 하는 거리가 엄청 많음 택시도 따로 추가금 내고 불러야 할 정도

I stayed at Nagoya Prince Hotel Sky Tower for 4 nights on the top floor. The stay overall was pleasant — the breakfast was great, and the club lounge was beautiful. The facilities are excellent, and the views from the top floor are stunning. Location was not that great.

However, I was disappointed by the service. While most staff were polite, the handling of a small issue left a bad impression. I accidentally took a cable charger and realized it as soon as I landed in another country. I immediately admitted my mistake and offered to pay for it, which would have been the simplest solution. Instead, the staff member (Nagai) insisted that I ship it back at my own expense. This was very inconvenient, especially since I travel frequently and don’t have time to go to the post office, and the shipping cost would end up being more than the cable charger itself. When I shared my feedback, hoping for some flexibility, the responses felt abrupt and rigid, with no acknowledgment of my concerns. At the end, I was even told “we hope you visit again,” which felt out of touch given the situation.

I understand it was my mistake, but I wish the staff had shown more flexibility and customer care. For a hotel of this class, I expected service that adapts to the situation rather than following rules so mechanically.

Great facilities and food, but service did not meet the same standard. Would not recommend.

The staff here were amazing, English was a bit hit or miss but that’s to be expected. They were always attentive and eager to help, Grade A customer service! The bed was a bit rigid for my liking but it was huge, and the overall room was huge with an amazing view. Having a nice big shower area and tub that you could actually fill to the top and soak in was icing on the cake. Would highly recommend the place. Mildly difficult to get in and out of since it starts on the 31st floor for the lobby and rooms above that. Parking was minimal but I always found a spot. We did the buffet one night, recommend having a reservation as we didn’t get the best seats but they took us in and the food was very delicious and all encompassing. Very convenient to family mart, Starbucks, Saizeriya (very cheap delicious Italian) and McDonald’s among other sit down restaurants.

The breakfast restaurant is located on the lobby floor on 31/F. The view is great that you can see the nagoya station and bullet train.There is a lot of choices of food and drink, including the mini version of nagoya famous dishes, grilled eel rice, miso katsu, toast with red bean and cream. The room facilities are good, separate toilet, washbasin and shower/bath room. However, there isn't any hook or rack for placing towel or clothes inside the shower/bath room. Other than this, I can feel the hotel service is very attentive. All the staff are very friendly and helpful.

I really liked this hotel for comfort during our stay in Nagoya. It's walkable from the station (providing you dont have too many bags), and it's only a 15 minute walk to the bus station for the direct bus to the Ghibli Park which was why we were visiting.

What a building. We had a trainside view of Nagoya and it was amazing as we had a great sunset view. Great location for the bars and restaurants down town. Hotel room was very clean, comfortable and very spacious. Breakfast was amazing, with a wide variety of choice, fresh tuna was delicious.

We had a great time at the Prince Hotel Sky Tower. Great breakfast and friendly staff. One of the front counter staff helped our family call and book a reservation to eat Hitsumabushi after a Nagoya castle visit. It totally made our day and one of the best meal we’ve had!

This is one of the best hotels I have ever stayed. The room spacious , the facilities are new , the staff are friendly. Only one small thing that I am not uncomfortable with is that the breakfast menu never changed during the three days I stayed . Hopefully it can be changed a little bit. Clean and good service. Only the bathroom does not have the rack to bring the towel and clothes inside. I have to get out of the bathroom to get dressed. Location next to convention center and so good for business, but not close to (10 mins walk) from train station and shopping area.

The location is ok if you are familiar with the train system, we used taxi to go everywhere.Not much in the area other than a mall with some restaurants and convinient store.Nor really walkable to main station or attractions.

This hotel exceeded my expectations! The breakfast was absolutely spectacular, complete, fresh, and so delicious, great view from the room is incredible, complete, huge, so great! The staff was incredibly attentive and friendly, always ensuring everything was just right.

Great views, but not for light sleepers

Our stay in Nagoya was overall enjoyable, but this hotel came with its fair share of quirks.

Let’s start with the positives. The room we stayed in was massive—especially by Japanese standards—and the view was absolutely incredible. Breakfast was also a highlight, offering a good selection to start the day. We had club lounge access, which was a nice touch, though honestly, I wouldn’t go out of my way to pay extra for it if it wasn’t included.

That said, there were a few downsides. The hotel is situated right above the train line, and the noise really carries. There’s even a note in the room explaining this, with earplugs offered if it becomes an issue. For light sleepers, this might be a deal-breaker.

We also experienced a minor hiccup with the cleanliness of the room, but to the hotel’s credit, the staff were incredibly responsive and resolved the issue quickly. I’d chalk it up to a one-off oversight.

As for the location, I can’t really comment since we had a car (parking is 2,500 yen per night). However, Nagoya itself was wonderful, and despite a few setbacks, we had a pleasant stay. If you’re not bothered by train noise, this hotel has a lot to offer!

The staff is very kind and patient. They helped us with getting to our next destination and showed us where the clinic was when I fell ill on the trip. Very clean, spacious rooms. Just be aware that the bathroom sink is not separated by a wall so may make it hard to change if you’re in a group.
