We stayed in the Deluxe Double Room, Non Smoking (14 sqm). The room is compact but well laid out, with a small bath tub in the bathroom and a humidifier where you add your own water. A range of pillows is available to suit different preferences.

Check in was smooth and efficient, and the hotel already had our Expedia reservations on hand. As with most Japanese hotels, copies of our passports were taken. Amenities such as coffee, toothbrushes, and combs are available at the lobby’s self-service corner. The hotel also has coin laundry machines and vending machines for drinks and beer.

The location is excellent. It sits directly opposite BIC Camera with an escalator that leads straight into the train station. There are plenty of food options around the hotel, making it convenient for meals at any time.

Luggage delivery via Ta-Q-Bin was easy. The hotel handled everything and we only needed one delivery slip for five bags, which made onward travel very convenient.

Amazing stay at Nagoya

Hotel is well located at the entrance/exit of underground shops linked to subway trains and plenty of famous restaurants nearby. Amenities are provided at lobby and guests can take whatever they need and there is also coffee and tea available for free. Luggage can be stored next to the entrance with 3 numbers lock combination decided by the guest. Room size was quite small as expected for Japan size, corridor was just enough to open one side of 1 big luggage but bed was firm and much better than the other hotel chain.

The Sanco Inn Shinkansenguchi Hotel is our go-to hotel whenever we are in Nagoya. Its proximity to the Meitetsu Nagoya and JR Nagoya Stations is very ideal for us since it is very convenient coming from the Chubu Centrair International Airport and whenever we ride the train. Also, the bus station is almost right in front of the hotel, adjacent to the JR Nagoya train station. Highly recommended!

- Great location across from the station, however, it is located very near a public smoking area. So, guests have to walk pass by that before entering the hotel.
- Good Variety of breakfast menu

Cons:
- Check out time is a bit too early like 10 am. No matter what time you checked in. (We checked in around 8-9 pm and We were staying at the hotel about 12 hrs. Asked to extend the check out time to 11 am, they wanted to charge JPY1000/extra hour. No flexibility at all.
- Room is quite small and hallway looks quite old with unpleasant smell.
- AC is centrally controlled and too hot in the room. Guests cannot adjust any temperature.
- Most staff cannot speak or understand English that well. So, they need to use translator tool to help.

Place is near nagoya station. Just across taikodori exit. Across the street is bic store. Breakfast is ok. Not so many choice but the basics i.e. rice bread yogurt is served. Just outside the hotel is entrance to Esca underground shopping district. Comfort room are too tight.

Had trouble with setting the air conditioning. Woke up I'm the morning with what felt like frostbbite in my chest. Probably my fault. But certainly wasn't that cold when I went to sleep. otel incredibly convenient for the station and anyone making full use of Japan Rail Pass.

The hotel is just about 5 mins walk from JR station. Make sure you have the right exit, towards the Tokaido exit. Room is small just like any 3-star local inns & hotels. You just have to be organised and carry small bags. Breakfast is standard fare but yummy. You get eggs, bread, danish, salad, yogurt & coffee. Great thing about the hotel is that you dont need any toiletries. Everything is provided. The restaurants in JR station are great, Starbucks, Macdonalds are available and abundance of gifts shops and supermarket.

This was a very reasonably-priced hotel in a great location. We were pretty much across the street from Nagoya station, which made getting around very convenient. Convenient is all it was.

if you're looking for a place to drop your bags while you take in the sites this place works. it was convenient to nagoya station, food and bars but the room was stuffy and hot. power to room was turned off when you leave making each time we came back to the room a test of patience to get cool again. the rooms were pretty small and the bathroom felt like i was sitting in economy with my knees hitting the door.

住宿兩晚，雖住小坪數房型，以單人而言空間與舒適度很好，還有浴缸，環保也做的很棒，浴巾若要更換，可放專用袋更換，旅館近車站，就在名古屋站(太閣通口對面)，附近多商店百貨，一樓行李寄放，整體好，會再入住

朝食はそれなりに種類があり良かったです。部屋は大きめのバスタブがあり、浴室や洗面所、トイレが広くて綺麗でした。駅に近く、駅中のショッピングや食事に行くのも便利でした。今回家族旅行で利用しましたが、こどもがアレルギーがあることを伝えると事前にメニュー提供してくれて、助かりました。すごくよかったです。
