Quick and friendly check-in. They were very understanding and patient when my wife needed more time to find her passport. My teen liked having their own adjoining room. Excellent location with all conveniences and transportation nearby.

Room was spotless, location was unbeatable. Generous toiletries provided, razors combs lotions etc. Staff were courteous and helpful. Only one small peeve: there was unexplained occasional beeping in the room at middle of night waking up my wife but it’s not clear what’s causing it, but it’s definitely originating from the room itself. For the record we did not bother to lodge a complain as we check out the next morning.

The hotel staff are very friendly and considerate. When I traveled in Japan, I hurt my feet and felt very painful in walking. The hotel staff tried their best to help and to make a special arrangement on wheelchair for me. I highly appreciate the hotel staff professional attitude.
In addition, the hotel location is pretty good and very convenient.

The hotel is in a handy location - directly opposite to Meitetsu Nagoya Station. It is perfect to travel to and from the airport. The room, a superior double room, is a bit small, which is similar to the situation in most of the hotels. The rest is super. I’d stay there again next time in the city.

Hotel is very close to the station. Breakfast was meh - just a donut, pastry and coffee from the mister donut (630yen). I believe I paid more than that as an addition through my booking so I think it is better to just skip it or pay the cafe directly. Room was nice and spacious and clean.

2 min walk to main train station with multiple lines going in every direction. So many restaraunts and dining options, shopping and pachinko halls. Staff were great and friendly and the hotel was spotless. Would definately stay again.

Check in was efficient, but when you asking to have extra towel and blanket…not sure why front desk ask you come down and pick it up your self…along my 20years of travel never got hotel ask me to go down to pick up ….baggage storage which I thought they can hold for 1extra day which they not allowed and have to do same day pick up which it is not convenient at all

This hotel is recommendable. The location is great, very near to the nagoya main station. You can walk to shopping mall, restaurants and cafes within 10minutes by foot. The staff was really kind and they are very helpful. The room condition was very nice. Clean and suitable for single person to stay if you are familiar with Japanese business hotel room size. Overall, I really satisfied with this hotel and want to recommend this hotel for people who are looking for budget hotel.

This is a nice Sotetsu property. The rooms are designed such that you can still walk around even wi the a luggage opened. I also like that the AC is not directly facing the bed. It takes roughly 2 minutes to get to midland square, which connects to Nagoya Station. It also had 3 elevators, making it easy to go up and down. Would definitely come again if I ever go back yo Nagoya. I did have to fill out the luggage delivery form myself. The staff provides and example of how to do it and verified the information for me.

Great hotel located nearby Nagoya station. There is tea, coffee and toiletries available in reception which we really appreciated. The room was clean and a nice size and had a mini fridge which is useful. We didn’t hear any other quests and the staff were very professional.

The staff who spoke enough English to help us check in and answer any questions. When we asked about our luggage options one of the training staff wasn’t sure what we meant but was able to use a live translator screen which we were very impressed with. This made communicating much easier for both us and the staff.

Book 2 connecting Room for 3 person. It was very small. No space to open 3 luggage. Plus point will be the location. Near to train station, dining and shopping. Everything within reach.
Entrance to hotel is in a small alley so it could be easily missed. Komeda coffee is right opposite hotel good for morning breakfast. Mister donut is just next to hotel lobby too.

Family of 4 and we had 2 connecting rooms. Rooms are terribly small! But it has everything you needed. Other than the size, nothing to complain about. Beds are comfortable. In a good location close to Nagoya station. No onsite parking and you can park at nearby Winc Building.

Location for this hotel is good, within 10mins walk from all train/bus stations.

Condition of the property average. Condition of room slightly below average. 1 of the pillow provided is flat like almost no filling inside while the other one is ok.

Cleaniness of the room below average. Upon check in, we found the bed head is dusty, curtain has stain, cup has lipstick mark, bathtub is not clean, bedsheet has stain.

Corner of the bathtub bottom leaks when you release water after taking a hotbath.

Comparing the hotel stay within the same chain brand, the one in Osaka is so better, Nagoya one is below average. A bit disappointed.

The location of the property is good.

When we arrived, we went to reception to check in, was standing in line for awhile with 2 available staffs. No one has advised we could self check in on the machine in front of them while we waiting. I was wondering there and and figure it myself. Not that welcoming.

The room size is ok. When enter the toliet, it was a bit stink. Think the smell is from the drainage. Bed head and portion of the table is dusty, there are stains on curtain, bath room wall and bathtub. Cleaniness is not that great.

Bed is comfortable but pillows are bad. One of them is so flat, i have to fold it into half to use it. I had a sore neck when i woke up.

We had a great stay at this hotel! Hotels are smaller in Japan, so it's all the organization of space. I appreciated how they organized the room to have more surfaces to store random things. I also like how the check in and check out process was done on a machine which made it very easy. Staff were very respectful too. There's a full amenities bar by the check in desk for everything from tea to toothbrushes. I really recommend this hotel for a convenient place to stay near Nagoya Station!

The staff at Fresa were very accommodating and patient with our check in during the evening.

The room is a standard business hotel size but there were some questionable instances; carpet edges were dusty and the drapes had stains on them.

Outside of these, the location is close from the Nagoya station with a strip restaurants right outside the property

The young male staff at reception was pretty awful. He was emotional and had a terrible attitude. While I was there, he was annoyed about the Asian guests, and when I spoke to him, he behaved badly. The other young female staff I met during my stay were wonderful.
Since the dryer is small, it takes several hours to dry clothes.

The location is pretty near perfect. It's very near the main bus and train lines and so it was very easy to get around Nagoya. The rooms are a little small but the beds were nice and comfortable and my family had a really good nights sleep throughout the stay there. The best thing about the hotel was that it had a channel on the tv in each room which gives you a live update about the 3 washers/dryers they had so that you can plan when to go down and do laundry!

Our stay at Sotetsu Fresa Inn Nagoya Sakuradoriguchi was simply amazing! The connecting rooms were perfect for our family setup. The hotel's service was impeccable, and the rooms were not only clean but also cozy, contributing to a truly memorable trip. Its convenient location near key attractions, a shopping mall, and Nagoya Station added to its appeal.

A must-mention is the affordable and mouthwatering Yakiniku restaurant, Yakiya, conveniently located just across the street in Comtech Tower B1F.

I highly recommend this hotel to anyone planning a visit to Nagoya.

Overall enjoyable stay. There is complimentary amenities available at the reception area. 2 convenient store nearby hotel which u can pick up breakfast. Do not recommend it here. We had several issues to begin with from the staff being misleading to our bathroom smelling like sewage.

1) We had inquired at the desk if we are able to send our luggage from here to our next hotel, the employee said they can’t do it with the form, but we should go 7/11 get the form then they will ship and handle for us. Turns out this is not the case, 7/11 will have to ship it all for us (there was a language barrier there but they tried their best).

2) Due to the misinformation we had to bring our luggage back to the hotel to swap out some items, as we are unable to send it through the hotel. Literally 5-10min before we had just dropped off our luggage to the employees (notably the woman with glasses that speaks English), they had not given us a luggage tag prior to us going, despite us asking before we left “Are we okay to go now?”

This proceeded to be a 5-10min back and forth of her denying she saw us beforehand or had given us a tag to claim our luggage.

3) After arriving to the room, the room is typical size however the washroom gave off a strong sewage smell every time it flushed. The air conditioner was one extreme to another (there was no inbetween)

The hotel states the tap water is drinkable however we definitely had our doubts especially with the stench from the washroom.

For your own peace of mind and comfort, book at another hotel to enjoy your vacation.

Location was convenient due to proximity to Nagoya Station. There was not much interaction with staff as most procedures were automated or self-service from check-in and check-out to replenishing amenities.
