We had a good time at Richmond Ephesus. It says all inclusive but the cocktails were not included. They had some really nasty ones and the internet was very slow. The staff were helpful.It wasn’t worth the money.

Das Zimmer ist leider vom Personal nicht sauber gemacht worden. Auch die darauffolgenden Tage wurde das Zimmer nicht ausreichend von Schmutz gesäubert.

Das Personal im Restaurant ist leider überhaupt nicht ausreichend geschult. Ich habe selbst jahrelang in der Gastronomie gearbeitet. Das Personal im Restaurant arbeitet sehr unsauber und nicht aufmerksam. Beispielsweise ist das Besteck und die Gläser nahezu immer verdreckt und weist Fingerabdrücke auf. Während des Auffräumens def Tische passen die Kellner nicht auf und das benutze Besteck der anderen Gäste berüht den eigenen Teller während das Personal während des Essens den Tisch aufräumt.

Weiterhin gibt es Kellner die sich explizit weigern Getränke an den Tisch zu servieren. Es wird immer darauf hinhewiesen, dass man sich selbst die Getränke holen soll.
Grundsätzlich hat das Hotel super viel Potential, welches ungenutzt bleibt. Beispielsweise ist der Strand super aber leider dreckig. Viel Müll und Zigarettenstümmel liegen herum. Das Hotel säubert den Strand einfach nicht.

Wenn mehr Personal und vor allem geschultes und qualifiziertes Personal eingesetzt werden würde, wären die 5 Sterne auch gerechtfertigt.

This holiday had everything we needed as a 3 generation family. The accommodation, food, entertainment and facilities were excellent. It is a little more dated than som other hotels but that was what really worked for us all. The grounds are beautiful and walking through the gardens was bliss. Really close to the beach and plenty of different areas if you want music, kids fun or peace and quiet. All staff have been friendly, polite and professional. The entertainment and animation team are excellent. They invite to join in and inform you of activities without being pushy or rude. All in all, I would definitely come back and stay again.

you don't need anything from outside..

clean and wide enough rooms, nice balcony and exceptional view, wide range of fresh food, salad bar is fantastic, if you are a very selective person, you will find your choice to eat, pools and the peach are awesome, entertainment team will never let you get bored, many places for children to enjoy their times, all speak English so easy to communicate, price value is reasonable.

The hotel did not have a good service, the mini bar was not repeated every day, some of the employees had a racial attitude, considering that it was all there, the snacks were very limited, my daughter would stop for several minutes for an ice cream to be served, toothbrushes and toothpaste in the rooms There was no tooth. Calling the reception had no effect on the service process

Beach, garden, swimming pools are very nice. Food quality is good. Particularly the breakfast was excellent! However, there are not many dining options. At time when we visited, there was only buffet open.
We had a Senior suite and 2 Standard Single rooms. The suite was nice and spacious, however in the Single rooms there were 2 beds and they were pretty small (removing 1 bed would help to create a little more space, also it's expected to be single anyway).
No problems with parking.
We enjoyed our stay and I can recommend it.

fast check in. nice and friendly staff all over and every were. efficient with a good service.
almost 1 hr from Izmir. the room is not so big but wide enough. take see view to get an amazing view. clean. billows need to be improved. bathroom has all needed tools. AC hot and cold is fantastic.
swimming pool is wide, nice and clean.
the beach is extra amazing.
entertainment every night with very efficient teams. amusing.
if you travel with children they will never get bored with many places and activities to do.
food is an open buffet in the 3 meals. hot. fresh and very delicious. lots of variation.
also the spa and the gym. all facilities are nice.
no need to go out of this 5 stars resort.
frankly. the service we got is higher than the money we paid. I hope they can keep the same level in summer to come back :)
my family and myself loved our stay and for sure we will come back again. hopping the hotel will keep this level in all matters.

Decent budget resort. I would say it's a 3.5 star hotel. Good buffet restaurant. Very limited a la carte dinning. Nice beach with very fine sand. Probably because of the sand the color of the water is dirty brown near the shore.

Awesome week and food but beware of mosquitoes

Very beautiful and comfortable place to stay for a week. Clean and hygienic facility. Food was amazing and service was exceptional. A lot of variety of traditional Turkish and international food choices were available and changes every day. A couple of maintenance issues but resolved right away. As much as we enjoyed our family time we were troubled by mosquitoes. Recommend to bring your own repellent. Really good choice for a family stay.

The check-in was very easy and the staff at check-in and check-out were fantastic. The cleaning staff were also very friendly. The staff in the restaurants and bars were hit and miss. Some were very good others a little bit cold.
The food and drinks were fine. It was not gourmet but there was lots of things available and generally tasted pretty good. The grounds were really well taken care of and while the place seemed a little dated it was generally well maintained. For the price, I would definitely say it was good value for money.

Very good spa. Noisy resort.

The resort gets high marks for cleanliness and attention to health issues during COVID. The dining room staff is overzealous in trying to clear dishes before people have finished. The spa/hammam is very good and reasonably priced. My room showed significant signs of wear and tear on the walls and tho' I overlooked the pool the late night music (2230-0030) on week nights was definitely disruptive.

Great spot to visit Ephesus sites from.

Awesome stay. Only 8 min from all the Ephesus sites. Food for all the meals was well prepared and fresh even though it's the off season right now for vacations in the area. Beach is beautiful and would love to return in warmer months to take full advantage of all the amenities. Last but not least, the staff was very friendly and helpful.

Air conditioning was not working then got fixed. Staff knocked on the door while do not disturb sign was on. Buffet is varied with average quality. You should be aware that during the afternoon you have activities with high nose in the pool area. So forget about sitting in the balcony or having a nap. A shame. This is a mass and poorly managed hotel. The only upside is the cheap price.

I was in this resort from sep.23-29, I reserved a Superior double sea view room, but the room was smaller then standard and no superior double room, the bathroom was very small too, difficult moved around the bathroom, overall it is not a five star hotel.

A Great All Inclusive for Families and Couples

On arrival at the Richmond Ephesus we were greeted by Anastaisa, the Guest Relations Manager who made our stay so welcoming. Anything we asked for she was able to help. Even though at this time of year all of the restaurants were not open, Anastasia advised that we could avail of the various restaurant menus at no extra cost. This made a big difference to the all inclusive dining experience. We also availed of the wellness and spa centre. As I had a shoulder and back injury the massages I received at a small cost alleviated so much of the pain I was suffering and by the end of the week I was pain free. Well worth a visit.

We stayed at this hotel for 3 nights in July and had a wonderful time. It is situated on a quiet street but is very central and within walking distance to all the main tourist attractions. There are lots of nice cafes, bars and restaurants nearby. Staff very friendly and helpful.

My wife and I had a great stay here for 2 nights. The rooms were comfortable and the staff was extremely nice. It was great to stay at an all-inclusive, although I would say the food was average. The pool was great and being right on the beach made for an excellent stay. There were also nightly activities at the resort so there was no need to leave if you did not want to. The hotel is not too far from the ancient ruins of Ephesus so you can take advantage of that through the hotel as well. Although I did not get to use it, the resort also has a basketball court which I was exited about. The resort is great for children as well and has 2 small pools dedicated to children, including one with an amusement park-style slide. Overall we had a great stay.

Richmond Ephesus Resort - very poor service levels

The hotel looks nice and the room is clean but the service is lousy. The internet wi-fi connection in the room did not work at all and they could not rectify it inspite of complaining many times and the only response was a shrug of the shoulders. The food is not great and even though they offer dinner as a part of the room rate, it is not worth it. Not recommended unless you have no other choice

The hotel is a resort so it is located in a very nice area close to the sea and the rooms have good sea views. We were there in off season and perhaps that is why the service was very poor. We couldn't check in until after 5 pm and had trouble getting internet service. I would stay again during the summer months, it might be better.

Had to pay for drinks at dinner even though we were half board. 9L for a tiny fountain drink, cheap cherry juice. Seemed like a rip off given the context of everyone else drinking for free. I think it probably would be a good place for families, though the water at the beach was murkey. Lukewarm about this place.

Don't expect water with your halfboard booking!

The air conditioning was broken in the hotel both nights we stayed so sleeping was quite uncomfortable. I booked a half board room and was told the first night at dinner that this included drinks at dinner - then the second night, the buffet manager asked where our wrist bans were and informed us drinks (not even water) was included, and proceeded to take the bottle of water that was there when we sat down away. Then another server came by and asked us what we wanted and I stated nothing, then he came back with water and poured me a glass, and then within 5 minutes (after speaking to the manager) came back and took the glass away and told me I had to pay for it! I had not taken a sip of the water at this point, but the fact that he took away a glass of water and dumped it out was a bit much. The rooms could stand to be updated, but the grounds were well maintained and nice.

Super hotel well located for Ephesus Kusadasi Virgin Mary House and Sirince

We picked the hotel for the location. It had a lovely sandy beach and was a 5 minute drive from the famous Ephesus World Heritage Site which was amazing. See the Virgin Mary House too off the D550 nearby Selcuk. Don't miss the village of Sirince sign posted from Selcuk. Lovely country restaurants and markets. Wine tasting is fun too.

The breakfast buffet and evening buffet were superb. The food was well presented and many traditional dishes were on offer ... delicious and tasted homemade. Levent, the maitre D made us very welcome and Hakan is an excellent waiter who is very keen to practice his English.

We tried the spa and had an amazing hot stone massage i a private room for couples ( on special offer €50 ) Yummy

All staff were friendly and nothing was too much trouble. We arrived in a rented Avis car from Iznir Airport and it was an easy 1 hour drive using Google maps routings.

Make sure you get a toll card from the office just BEFORE the motorway exit to Selcuk and Kusadasi. No card is required when you enter at Izmir Airport .. at least that is what Avis told me.

Het was breed opgezet, aan het eind van augustus wordt het ook rustiger doordat de kinderen naar school moeten. Je hoeft geen handdoek neer te zetten bij het zwembad, er is altijd plek.
Echter zijn er enorm veel muggen, is de buffetzaal heel gehorig en het extra italiaanse restaurant geen aanrader.

Negativ:
- wassersport aktivität ist reine abzocke, versprechen werden nicht eingehalten und nach reklamation wird nur ein kleiner bruchteil zurück versprochen (am ende doch nichts erhalten)
-mittagsbuffet am pool ist sehr arm
-der 'silent pool' war nie ruhig oder 'silent'
-die abendunterhalt war nicht grossartig
-fruchtsäfte sind pure chemikalienmischung

Positiv:
-sehr freundliches personal immer lächelnd
-sauber, putzkraft ist sehr zuvorkommend, wir hatten oft schön dekorierte blumen auf dem bett
-die gerichte sind sehr fein
-das Areal ist sauber und freundlich, es wird immer schnell aufgeräumt
-familienfreundlich
-zimmer ist gross
-auf dem balkon hat es kleiderständer für nasse kleider
-schöner und grosser sandstrand (während unserem Aufenthalt war es windig, aber das ist nicht schuld des hotels)
-animationsteam ist immer aktiv
-der koffer-typ ist auch sehr freundlich und erklärt alles bis ins detai

-schnelle aber nicht effiziente Reaktion auf Reklamation

Das Hotel ist etwas in die Jahre gekommen und ist in vielerlei Hinsicht durchschnittlich. Es eignet sich aufgrund der Lage gut für eine Nacht vor oder nach dem Besuch der Ruinen von Ephesus. Einen längeren Aufenthalt würde ich nicht empfehlen.

Wir waren im Juli im Hotel. Das Hotel hat eine recht große Anlage. Die Räumlichkeiten sind schon etwas veraltet aber trotzdem sauber und alles hat funktioniert. Das Essen ist sehr umfangreich und lecker. Internet war in den Räumen und Lobby akzeptabel, aber am Pool und Beach Bar kaum vorhanden. Am Besten hat uns der Strand gefallen. Das Hotel hat eine sehr breite Strandfläche. Der Sand ist sehr fein und goldig. Man kann barfuss fast 200m ins Meer hineinlaufen. Auch auf dem Meeresboden nur feiner Sand. Es gab gute Unterhaltung mit Shows und alle 2 Tage Livemusik. Wir würden das Hotel sehr empfehlen.

Das Essen war super. Es gibt eine große Auswahl an verschiedenem Essen, es ist abwechslungsreich, frisch und lecker. Das Personal an der Rezeption ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Wir hatten anfangs ein Zimmer mit Teppich, das sehr in die Jahre gekommen war und richtig gestunken hat. Wir durften auf Anfrage problemlos das Zimmer wechseln und zogen in ein viel schöneres Zimmer in einem Bungalow. Auch das Reinigungspersonal war sehr freundlich, das Zimmer war jeden Tag sauber.
Lediglich die Mitarbeiter an den Bars und im Restaurant waren sehr reserviert.

Das Hotel ist für einen Familienurlaub mit Kindern total geeignet.

Oda, otel ve çevre temizliği çok iyi. Odalar her gün temizleniyor.
Çevre düzenlemesi çok güzel, yeşil iyi korunmuş.
Yemek çeşitliliği yüksek, lezzet kişisel bir konu. Aç kalmak mümkün değil, yerleşimin muhtelif yerlerinde muhtelif saatlerde türlü ikramlar yapılıyor.
Çocuklar için bir çok oyun alanı ve aktivite var. Çocuklu aileler için ideal göründü.
Deniz temiz, ama çok sığ. Çocuklar için iyi ama derin suları sevenler hoşlanmayabilir.
Özetlersek, eşimle beş keyifli gün geçirdik.

Yeme/içme ve sunum kalitesi için en fazla orta seviye denilebilir. Pandemi ortamında dahi aşırı kalabalık servis ve oturma yeri düzeni mevcuttu. Maske konusunda çalışanlar kurallara uyarken maalesef misafirler hiç takmıyordu (asansör ve kapalı ortamlarda dahi).

Des clients d'origine roumaine, de la musique roumaine, une chambre familiale trop étroite, lit inconfortable, la piscine est bien mais de nombreux transat sont à changer. Les douches extérieurs sont en piètre état. Les serveuses ne sont pas du tout souriantes. De long document à remplir à l'arrivé, des formalités interminables. Pour la nourriture, les repas sont ultra variés et de bonne qualité. En termes d'activité 2 raquettes de ping pong bons à mettre à la poubelle, les animateurs sont sympa. En conclusion je n'y retournerai pas une seconde fois.

Rummen är under all kritik, super dåligt skick.

Kvälls underhållningen var verkligen dålig, ett 5 stjärnigt hotell borde ha betydligt bättre underhållning.

Ankaradan 7 saatlik araç yolculuğu ile otele vardık. Otopark sorunu yok. Giriş yapıp odamıza yerleştik. Junior suit odada balkon yok. Oda geniş. Banyo yeterli büyüklükte ve temiz. Yemekler çok iyi. Havuz temiz. Ortam güzel. Akşam eğlenceleri yeterli. Deniz biraz dalgalı. Çalışanlar ilgili

Alkol ve deniz konusundaki hayal kirikligi

Otel disaridan bakinca luks ve konforlu duruyor ama iceride hic alakasi yok. Hersey dahil konsept calisan bu otel, yemekleri baya vasatti. 3 gece kaldik hergun ayni mezeler, salata grubu ve ayni yemekler cikti diyebilirim. Tesisin denizi igrenc gercekten denize girmek istiyorsaniz baska ote tercih ediniz. Otel de begendigim birkac sey ; dogasi guzel, internet erisimi ve odanin buyuklugu guzeldi ama odadaki yatak malesef kotuydu. 4 veya 5 yildizli otele geliyorum diyip kendinizi luks beklentiye sokarsaniz uzulursunuz. Raki olarak destan, sarap olarak kulup var gercekten komik.. yazik yani .

Pleasantly surprised!

Very nice maintained park,quiet in night,nice beach (bit sandy sea), AI orientated on budget-more vegetables,but very tasty,absolutely attentive stuff.Liked also very much how well they are treating the cats and dogs in the area. One minus-it seems to be a budget-destination....the guests are not the best educated ones...but this the hotel cannot change...

Genel olarak idare eder... Guzel ve genis bir bahcesi var... Yemekleri iyi odalar orta, Ancak eglence ve animasyon iyi degil.. Yemek salonundaki masa ve sandalyeler bakimsiz ve eski gorunuyor... Otelin boyalari bozuk ve fiziki kosullari cok iyi degil.. plajı genelde dalgalı denize girmek zor..

Cet établissement à bcp davantages :au bord d une plage de sable fin à un quart d heure en voiture d ephese et selcuk
Voilà pourquoi nous l avions choisi par contre c est trop grand trop bruyant musique trop forte et surtout Le restaurant trop de gaspillage et qualité tres moyenne à l heure des repas on se serait cru dans une station de métro aux heures de pointe
