Staff is helpful and able to speak english. Check in and check out are easy. Just need to remember to throw the used towel and trash bin at room door. All instructions are written in card. The breakfast is super, love the burger, tomato, salad, avarcardo. Free drink and hot water on second floor. Hotel is 3 minutes walking distance from life supermarket.

This rating would be somewhere between a 3 and 4... The hotel was in a pretty good location for accessing train stations, and the staff were friendly. The room was very small and really too cramped to spend any time in, but then it was a fair price for this. The additional tourist tax hadn't been mentioned prior to staying so guests should know about that in advance. Overall it was good value but probably too small to choose again unless everything else was a lot more expensive.

The staff was excellent and helped us with our luggage transport when we had a problem with delivery. Very patient and polite. The room did not have safe like the 3 other hotels we were in during our stay in Japan. The carpeting was a bit worn. Otherwise a great place to stay.

Brilliant location! Close to great areas of Osaka.

Only downside would be the interior needs a lick of paint and the laundry can be an annoyance if someone doesn’t collect their laundry after it had ended. Rendering the machine useless.

Staff were brilliant, no noise from outside and walkable to multiple stations.

Would recommend the hotel to anyone and even better if the small nitpicks I mentioned are sorted.

Impeccably clean room, stylish decor, very comfortable bed and pillows with high quality linens. Yes, rooms are tiny, but it's Japan. The staff is extremely courteous, attentive and kind. Location is fantastic, and the hotel is quite affordable for the location. Generous offering of high quality bathing amenities plus robe, slippers, Panasonic hair dryer, no PJ's. If you can handle the squeeze on space, don't hesitate to book at this Osaka hotel in the Umeda neighbourhood.

I think this place was a very affordable place to stay. I think they also had very friendly staff. They had free breakfast included, which was a plus, but I think I didn’t understand how far it was from certain restaurants so it wasn’t the best case scenario but it still led me to some very interesting restaurants to try, I think it was the smallest hotel that I stayed at it just two people or one then I think it’s perfect but other than that, I don’t think you can fit any more people It was definitely clean. I just felt that I didn’t really like the ego clean days where they didn’t change out the sheets, but I understand trying to be more eco-friendly so I won’t dock on that. I think from the three hotels that we stayed at this was the smallest but is very cute. I would recommend it if you’re on a budget.

The staff on reception did not speak English at this hotel calling itself \"International\" and whose guest mostly seemed to be Europeans. The room was small and expensive compared to a similar option in central Tokyo I'd stayed at days before. The air conditioning didn't work properly so the room was too hot and that was bad as Osaka was very hot this weekend. And the fridge packed in and stopped working on my last night so my water wasn't cold for my travel back to Tokyo today. A disappointing stay and TBH, the only one such I've ever had in Japan. I would not stay there again.

The hotel was a little bit of a walk from Umeda Train Station. We only discovered the Shotengai behind the hotel much later. As for the location right behind the hotel is a Shotengai with lots of karaoke & drinking bars but also some really good restaurants. So it is kind of a mix. We love that 7eleven, Lawson & Family Marts are everywhere nearby. It's very convenient to just pick-up a snack or even a meal.

Great location in the center of Osaka, Umeda. Easy to get anywhere via main transport hub. Lots of dining options nearby. Some of the property conditions could be upgraded but staff were very friendly and accommodating. I asked for a higher floor and had to check in late and they were able to help me out. Would recommend for anyone looking to travel to Osaka in this area.

The rooms are the average size of a Japanese hotel room however the dark interior made our room feel really small. The aircon didn’t smell good so we had to have the window open. Our room always seemed to get dusty as well. The hotel is situated near bars so with the window open, there was a lot of noise at night. It is convenient that the hotel has coin operated washing machines. The staff were very friendly.

The rooms need to be revamped I know japanese traditionally small but this is extreme. It could definitely be rearranged chucks were taken out of the walls. There dust coating every light sone shelf and the mini fridge. Still it was extremely convient and the feature to see the washer status on the tv was super helpful.

The Hotel had a beautiful lobby and the room was clean. Breakfast buffet available was good for the price. We were upgraded to the comfort room, which had a flatscreen TV, but it was still quite small. Overall, this was our favourite hotel we stayed at while in Japan and would recommend.

Great location,12mins walk from Osaka station with underpass 5 mins away. Convenience stores & eateries nearby with a food street behind. Breakfast spread was simple but decent. Rooms were well appointed. Love the big beds in our twin rooms. It’s the best feature of this hotel. Can easily fit an adult & a child comfortably. Housekeeping, however, was a let down. Our room was dusty and it showed up on the furniture and carpet. Doesn’t help that housekeeping is done only every 3 days. Service staff were attentive.

The Hotel Wing International was located close to shops, food, and transport. The decor had a 1920s Great Gatsby feel but was still modern. The room though small, was very clean and felt newly renovated. The staff were lovely and very helpful during our stay. I would highly recommend staying at the Hotel Wong International if your planning to travel to Osaka.

A few negatives, but I would stay here again.

The double bed in this room was bigger than in other Japanese hotels, and that's part of why I picked this hotel. (Typical double beds can be rough for two people.) This hotel was in walking distance of Osaka Station, which was super convenient.

Otherwise, depending on which direction you turn when exiting the hotel, half of the area next to the hotel is a kind of seedy neighborhood. Not dangerous at all, but just a bit distateful in terms of the particular business and storefronts in the area.

There was a free welcome drink in the bar. On the one hand this was nice, but on the other hand the bartender was a bit cold and the drink I had (a highball) was awful. But it was free, so no big deal.

Despite this being a somewhat mixed review, I would stay at this hotel again. The location was very convenient in terms of walking distance to the train station, the room was clean and comfortable, and the price was very affordable.

The property was really well kept. The staff was fantastic and friendly. I must say, that knowing a little Japanese really helped my wife and I. But Americans be weary, they have washer dryer combo that do not work too well for large loads. My wife and I placed a large amount of clothes in these and needless to say, they did not dry at all! But aside from that you cannot go looking for a negative thing about this location and their staff! We are definitely going to be there again in December 2020!!

Really great place to stay. Easy check in and the rooms were very nice and clean. The rooms are small so you have to stay clean and organized but that is to be expected in these areas.

What really shined for us about this hotel was the handy phone for each room. Full unlimited data and a smart phone for the length of your stay. It made finding train times and walking the streets much easier and really allowed us to explore without having to worry about getting too lost.

The hotel is also in a great location about a 10 minute walk from the 2 different JR stations which is very convenient if you have the JR pass. Definitely walk-able with luggage or a cheap taxi if you don't want to lug your bags around. There is also a very cool street that runs directly behind the hotel for a few blocks which is great at night and host an assortment of restaurants.

Wonderful stay in Osaka

We had an amazing experience staying here. The stag were very friendly and helpful. We were able to leave our bags as we arrived before 3pm. When we returned the bags had already been taken to our room and we got welcome drinks in the bar. The room was small but perfect and very comfortable. The hotel is in an excellent location, an easy walk from Umeda Station. There are lots of places to eat close by and easy access to the subway. We had a great stay in Osaka, partly thanks to this hotel. Highly recommended.

The hotel was in a really optimal location as well as being incredibly easy to find due to the uniqueness of the building. The interior was very aesthetically pleasing, beautiful and the staff was very polite and helpful. Not to mention the cleanliness of the rooms! Breakfast was delicious and had a good variety of options. They also have an hour from 5-6 where the bar downstairs serves free wine for guests which was really nice to come back too.

Beautiful little hotel with plenty of surrounding nightlife. Easy access to trains but can be a bit tricky to find when first arriving if you don't know the underpass. We arrived at night but would probably have been easier in the day time. Staff were fantastic and rooms are spotlessly clean.

Hotel has a nice entry, speedy check in and check out. Welcome drinks were a nice touch . The one and big issue I had with this hotel is the room size and smell of our hotel room. Room sizes in Japan are generally small - but this was real tiny. Unlikely to stay here again.

Great Location and Room in Osaka

Room and hotel were comfortable, clean, well located had everything we could possibly need. Like most accomodation in Japan, the room was compact, but well styled and pleasant to be in. Amenities all clean and easy to use. Service was impeccable and the hotel was located close to subway station, with a decent amount of quality restaurants in close proximity - very handy as an English speaking tourist! Definitely recommend.

Frills instead of services that were really needed

The daily 5-6pm free wine was a surprise but most of us do not drink. Even then, would be better to delay the hour since we were still out of hotel at 5pm most days.

In contrast, request for extra pillows was chargeable whereas most hotels would accede to the request FOC.

Checkout time of 10am was 1 hour earlier than other hotels we stayed in and non-negotiable.

The Hotel Wing was very nice and very clean. It had a very unique feel to it with some funky decor, but it was better than the normal standard fare.

The breakfast was nice and the staff were very courteous.

The local area was good for food and only a ten minute walk from Osaka station, with lots of Japanese amenities nearby, especially pachinko and karaoke places.
