I really liked this hotel. It’s a combination of local neighborhoods and businesses area. Lots of restaurants but the hotel has a nice breakfast with lots of choices. The food was great. I was glad I included it with our hotel stay. We stayed 3 nights and we had a great time. It is walking distance to a local train station. This was the first hotel we stayed in Japan so the other hotel we stayed in are nothing compared to this hotel. Staff are also super nice. Very helpful.

Nicely located, it was a short walk to Osaka station via the underground Whity centre which has lots of shops and eateries. Hotel looked smart from the outside and was polished on the inside. Room was spotlessly clean although on the small side but this is the norm for Japan. We loved the thoughtful amenities including the excellent skincare products that were provided and which you could pick up yourself more of yourself from a station near the lifts on the ground floor. I also appreciated the humidifier in the room given how dry the air was even without the aircon on. Staff were helpful and friendly whenever we needed anything. The cherry on top was the ability to use the excellent communal sento in the top floor as others have mentioned! Given the quality, it felt like excellent value for the rate we paid and we'd definitely stay again if we were back in Osaka.

It was at the convenient location for me. The room was big and everything was neat inside the hotel. There was no direct shuttle bus from the airport but I used a cab from the closest bus stop.

It was great and we only stayed one night, I would say if they provided more pillows and the furniture was upgraded that would be a bonus.
The hotel itself was not any less then the 4 star we stayed.
The breakfast was amazing and got to try loads of food we had on our list.

The hotel itself is very nice, and the staff were excellent (I asked for a room on a high floor and got this, which was much appreciated).
However, the area surrounding the hotel is sleazy, with many 'love hotels' and hostess bars. As a solo female traveller, this was not ideal.

Great place, in an 'interesting' area

Really lovely place, cleaned well every day, and only a short walk from Osaka Central.

the only issue is perhaps the area, there was a lot of loud motorbikes at night and some 'interesting' bars. The only other bit of note the room was quite small for any more than a few days.

Great public onsen available - the breakfast was fantastic with a lot of options. The hotel was well soundproofed and never heard others in the hotel - the location was a little difficult to navigate, as really easy to get lost in the local area but that can't be helped.

This hotel is located in the \"PINK\" district as my local Osaka friend would call it. I believe there are a couple of love hotels near it. HOWEVER, we (two female travellers) have never felt unsafe for the 9 days we stayed at this hotel. The location is extremely convenient as a base to everything in Osaka. Would I stay here again in the future? Absolutely YES!

The overall stay was ok-ish but be aware that rooms and beds are very small. We were 2 people, not a couple, and I had to upgrade to 2 beds instead of 1 small. They charged me the price of the room again. In a room that would normally be for 2, they would put 4 people. I tried to explain to the staff that it is not fair to charge me again, but they are not very open to talk to you or understand anything. So have this in mind.

The place is really clean and the staff are very nice.
The bathroom was just a little old like the bidet didn't work.
But there was a Onsen on the top floor to relax after a long day that stayed open till quite late.
It's also quite close to Osaka station and umeda station. You can take the underground walkway to go directly in front of the hotel (exit M14)
Do note that it's right in the middle of the red light district if you mind that.

The room was tiny. Not even enough room to open my suitcase. Bathroom was small too. Thats the only real complaint i have. The hotel was in good condition and very clean. The public bath is small, but VERY clean and relaxing. The staff was very polite and helpful. Their english wasnt the best, but they always communicated well and made sure to help with my needs.

The hotel location is very convenient to all the shops, bars and restaurants in the Umeda area. Also walking distance to Osaka station and Osaka-Umeda station. The hotel is surrounded by A LOT of love hotels, which feels a little weird, but wasnt a problem.

This hotel was is great for foreigners and solo travelers.

It was a great hotel., great stay, central to all major districts, and located along all city bus routes, close to shops , trains.

Spotlessly clean, when we asked for our room not to be ckeaned we would find clean towels and cosmetic s waiting outside the door.
I would highly recommend to anyone.

This place was very homey. I wish the rooms had just a bit more room, but they were clean and lived up to great standards. They did call the room a couple times to ask if they could clean the room after we had put the sign out to not clean it, but we liked that they wanted to clean the room so often! Hotel Hokke club is walkable to Umeda Station on the Whity Umeda entrance. From here, you get to your subway/JR options (walk underground, of course). You have varitey of dining, coffee shop options, shopping at either Hankyu, Lucua, Yodibashi are stores again within 10 minutes.

Hotel Hokke is tuck nearby what appearts to be entertainment establishments (Pachinko, Theater, clubs). But did not fell out of sorts when going to or leaving the hotel, regardelss of time of day between 8am-11pm.

The hotel lacked certain features I would have expected based on stays in similarly priced hotels in Japan like charging outlets near the bed for phones and bathroom (no outlets). The hotel is in a seedier part of town with hotels by the hour. Easy access to underground rail though via the Whity East Mall exit.

The hotel is in the middle of the \"entertainment\" district but the room was very quiet. The bathroom was well fitted (I stayed in 13 places this trip so I have something to compare against.) but the room, and especially the bathroom, were too hot (in late October). There are no sockets beside the bed for charging your phone and the curtains were not blackout curtains. The breakfasts were very good. The spa facility is very nice. Good value for the money.

I liked everything about this hotel.
My room was clean, tidy with everything I needed for a comfortable stay. The bathroom though small had a bath as is common in Japan. A nice touch was a line above the bah to dry some small laundry items.
The staff were super nice, efficient and friendly attending to my every request promptly and with a smile.
I have to mention also the breakfast, it was a wonderful feast of local and international dishes.
The location was chosen as it was close to Osaka Railway station and the hotel rate was very reasonable.
Overall I would rate my stay as excellent.

The hotel doesn’t provide paper tissues and the internet connection is horrible. You can’t open any websites. The staff at the reception desk are friendly and provide me an airport. However!!!! I found my pajamas and body cream on the floor when I came back. It’s carpet floor and we all know how dirty it is! I usually don’t put anything on the bed cause I wanna save them some effort but I rushed out today and left the pajamas and body cream for the very first time. Guess what?!! All of them are on the carpet when I came back. They could just put it on the chair or desk or anywhere just not on the dirty floor! Besides it’s close to some sex toy shop or hotel which I’m not sure

I was on the 3rd floor facing the pachinko and the curtains in my room were not blocking the lights from outside..It was so bright. I am a foreigner that speaks Japanese but the the staff used super sofisticated high level words, I think they should let loose a little and speak so we can understand. Breakfast was very delicious.

Hokke Club is a comfortable hotel with nice amenities in a pretty good location. The room size is slightly on the cramped side, but it is bigger than Tokyo hotels. We had just enough space to just open our suitcase which was fine with us. The check-in process was very smooth, and the lobby staff was always very courteous. In the bathroom we loved the deep-tubs and the electronic bidet. They had all the usual amenities for Japanese hotels- slipper, bathroom slipper, soap, shampoo, bathrobe as well as AC. One of the best features of this place was gender-separated public baths, so basically you can have an onsen-like experience included in a hotel stay in Osaka.

The location was convenient as it was pretty close to Umeda Station/ Osaka Station. It's 10-15 minute walk. The area just before the hotel has good restaurants, vibrant nightlife street so it's a good area to walk through. There is also a beautiful small shrine in middle of bustling street. Overall I found the hotel to be a nice location to spend 3 nights in Osaka specially for going to Kobe/Nara for day-trips.

It is a bit of a maze to find the hotel on foot, all of the metro exits nearby were all closed for renovation while we were there. Hotel is fairly standard for Japan though our room was quite spacious. Overall it was an OK hotel, would probably look to stay in a different area of Osaka for any future visits.

Great hotel! Very clean and service was friendly and accommodating. They allowed to hold our luggage the next day after check out while we explored Osaka for a few more hours. I even had time to enjoy the public bath(women and men separate). I would definitely stay here again. Highly recommend this place

This property was a little disappointing. The surrounding area looks a little sleazy- casinos, love hotels, girl bars. It was further away from Osaka than I thought. Hotels closer to the station are much in much better areas. Better shopping and restaurants over there. The room smelled a little off and made me a little dizzy the first night. The furniture looked outdated and there weren’t many outlets in the room. Bathroom was nice and the hotel provided nice pajamas sets every night. The swimming pool looking thing is not a pool, it’s a public bath! The service was very friendly and the experience was bad. But I wouldn’t stay here again
