We checked in and the hotel lobby was 90°. The pool has been broken for over a month. The continental breakfast was almost nonexistent. The lobby was dirty. The carpet in both of the rooms that I rented were sticky and nasty. Very very disappointed with this Windham hotel.

Was told pool was usable, when we arrived we found pool was closed in repairs. We reserved because of the pool as we had children that were expecting a pool. Requested a refund as they lied to me about pool. I had originally reserved 2 room for 2 days. They have only refunded me for 2nd day. They charged me for 1st night because I canceled the day of first stay. I canceled after they agreed through Expedia to refund me for both rooms for both nights. Otherwise I would have kept room as I do not have money to pay for a room I’m not going to use.

The pool and hot tub were not functioning, no a/c on the first floor, the curtain in the room was not wide enough to cover the sunlight, there was a broken towel rack and the bed was extremely firm, breakfast was horrible. The hallway carpets smell like what you would expect from a dirty kid’s indoor playground. Stains all over them. Our bathroom had loose tiles and one had apparently been replaced at one point and they used way too much grout, so it was 1/3rd an inch higher then the rest and a foot in front of the toilet. So each night we both hurt our feet making our way to the restroom. The pool was also closed. The pictures are clearly from when the hotel first opened.

No hot water in my unit. Pool was out of order. There was a stinky diaper on the 3rd floor in front of the elevator for two days. The only thing that was good was the a/c in my unit. I had to decide if I wanted good a/c or hot water. I picked the a/c due to the fact that the lobby had no a/c. Breakfast was ok but the waffle mix was horrible.

Do not book this hotel. Wyndham should be ashamed even having their name on the side of the building. The carpets in the hallways and in front of the elevator were stained and dirty. We had to tell them to come vacuum our room because it was dirty and there was a half eaten gummy stuck on the carpet. We had to tell them to bring more towels because there was only one towel, two hand towels and one washcloth. The window shade was broken, didn’t roll up or down. There were tiles missing and the lampshade had a hole in it. The lobby was extremely hot. The tile in the bathroom and by the door was so slippery that my daughter almost fell( I had to tell them to clean that also. DO NOT STAY HERE!

Hard looking for parking , did not have any towels or rug or small hand towels in room , had to go ask for some and was only given a certain amount. The room when we walked in smelled like a man was just in there . The bed looked like it was laid on . The pool was closed which was a disappointment. Hotel over all was dirty. Reserved 2 rooms and both rooms had dirty lien on bedding had to request clean bedding that I needed to change myself. Staff was quick to accommodate the request. Also no towels in room at check-in, this was a late checkin as well, so that shouldn’t have been an issue. Also pool was not open and looked dirty as well. Absolutely nvr going to book with them ever!!! When I walked in the building it was just as hot as it was outside. They said the building ac was out but not the rooms, the pool was also not in use and looked like it’s been a while since it ever did.
Walked in my room it smelled all damp and moldy I just chalked up to old carpet.. no the ac system had the whole floor soaked found that out are I took off my shoes. Let the front desk know and apparently I wasn’t the first to tell them. Second room smelled the same as the first, tv didn’t work, checked over by the ac system mold everywhere on the walls and desk. Now I’m upset bc I’m having to change rooms for the a third time. Get to that room all looked good, tv had to be replaced bc it didn’t work and the bathroom light behind the mirror blinks like it would during a fire drill. The tv that was replaced would keep loading looking for wireless signal from the building, so no tv was being watched.
The only good thing about this place was they tried to accommodate but failed at every turn. The property needs a major overhaul !! I wish I could upload the pictures bc this is only the half of it.

The light around the mirror in my bathroom only half worked. I woke up to a roach I. The bathroom and the phone didn’t work when I wanted to call room service. The pool was closed too. I don’t recommend this place. I was very disappointed with my stay. I didn’t expect to experience what I did. When I got to my room there were roaches & bugs at the entry way in the room & in the bathroom. The second lock to the door was broken and was told they couldn’t fix it. I was with my husband and 2 kids. I asked for a different room and they couldn’t love because they didn’t have another double. They offered to move me to two separate rooms but not conjoined because that wasn’t available but how was I going to be separated from my husband and kids. We were on a mini weekend vacation. Also the pool was broken. I checked in on a Friday. Was told it would be fixed the next day or possibly Sunday. And nothing was fixed. It was still down when I checked out. Was very upset because my kids and I were looking forward to pool time.

This hotel should be disenfranchised. We arrived on a Friday, checked in, and went to our room. At first, it was freezing cold. Ok. We went to the beach and when we returned to our hotel later in the day, the AC was not working. It was 76 degrees. Went down to the front desk and was informed that maintenance wouldn’t be back until 8:00 am or so, the next day. Asked if we could be moved to another room and was told that all the rooms were booked. At this time, the temp in the room was at 79 degrees. We had already paid for the room and had no choice but to tough it out. We asked the front desk for the name of the manager and was told she didn’t work on weekends. We asked for her phone number and the guy behind the front desk said he wasn’t going to speak with us anymore. At 5 am, the hotel fire alarm went off for no reason. The next morning, the girl at the front desk was friendlier than the night staff. She moved us to another room right away (8:30 am), texted the manager and asked if she could discount our 1st night. The manager approved a $20 discount which is unacceptable. No issues with the 2nd room. When checking out on Sunday, I asked the front desk clerk to confirm the discount. She said the hotel couldn’t give us a discount because we booked with a 3rd party (Expedia). In addition, the pool was closed and according to other reviews, has been closed for months. We have stayed at this hotel for many years and have not had these problems. I no longer recommend.

Where do I start, upon arrival they handed me keys to a DIRTY ROOM! The halls had a stench that smelled of marijuana (upper levels). The pool has been out of service since last year according to a frequent guest who stays on property. We didn’t have WiFi or Electricity for hours. The mattresses were stained. Bugs came up from the drains in the shower. I had to leave the property to get cleaning supplies to properly sanitize my room. I tried booking with surrounding properties but this particular week, everyone was booked to capacity! TRULY UPSETTING! The A/C unit leaked on the carpet continuously, which I’m sure has produce mildew and mold spores. A huge cockroach (TREE ROACH) greeted me once I came back from dinner one night during my stay. The hotel itself was clean. The ac wasn’t working in the lobby and the carpet in the hallways are in need of cleaning.
The room itself was clean and ac was working well. We did need towels and toilet paper.The backdoor to the hotel didn’t lock, so I felt insecure. The breakfast was eggs and biscuits, no bacon or sausage.
I believe the price was a little high for the quality.

Most the floors stunk of weed, the front staff wasn’t very helpful at all made us wait till they were done on their phones before helping us check in. The door lock did not work and they could not repair and with the right amount of force it would pop open, along with the air in room not working properly woke up sweating, the door to shower didn’t close properly so floor would get wet again staff would not help with problems had to ask multiple times for towels and was told that I could only get one even tho there was two of us would not suggest staying here

Where to start. The room was below average and the shower was really bad. No soap shelf nothing to steady yourself like a handle or bar the room smelled musky…. The pool has been out of order for months. The room was dusty. The air vents had a lot of dust. Hallway needs to be vacuumed. There was hair near my door. I was there for 4 days and the hair was still there when I left.
My second room the door didn’t lock. Told the front desk. Was told they would fix it and never got fixed. That room vents were also very dusty. Never had a problem before. I have been coming here for 5 years and this is the first time any of this happened in our trip.

The only thing that I can say was ok was the breakfast. I specifically searched for a hotel with pool and hot tub. I attempted calling before I booked to confirm that they were actually working but no one ever answered. The pool and hot tub are down because the water had to be tested and apparently it’s been down for at least a month maybe more. The first room we got, the bathroom door would not close right the staff moved us and the next room had the same problem with the closet door. Then we went down to get water and were told that the fountain was out of order and we would have to buy water.

Horrible stay. Our room had a broken latch on the door, hair and mold in the shower that I couldn’t use. I opened a random door in our room which led to a filthy utility room with broken equipment, someone’s old sock on the floor along with a dirty cup and broken pieces of something on the floor. The front desk employee didn’t know the manager (who wasn’t there) last name. She then offered me a refund and was told to have hotels.com call to request however when hotels.com attempted to reach them on 2 separate occasions they didn’t answer the phone nor did they respond to an email request. Do not stay here. Spend the extra $50 for a better hotel.

Front clerk/staff was very nice. All carpets in the living areas are filthy. Pool/hot tub have been non-functioning for months. The first room the mini fridge was not working, the second room they tried to give us the entire room was dirty, the third room was fine besides the dead roach in the restroom and mold in the AC. The sink was clogging up in our room. The staff was unprofessional. At one point their fire alarm was set off by them and although we went downstairs to evacuate, others were calling and the front desk simply ignored all calls. Parking was fenced. I’m sorry to say this was the worst experience we’ve had at a hotel. As soon as we checked in, the room smelled strongly of urine, and the odor was unbearable. The front desk did provide us with another room, which we appreciated.

However, the second room had a blocked sink. We reported this issue to the front desk, but unfortunately, no one came to fix it. We were left dealing with a non-functional sink while traveling with two young children, which was extremely inconvenient.

Additionally, no housekeeping service was provided the next day—beds were not made, and trash was not collected.

The only positive aspect of our stay was the evening shift staff member, who was very kind and helpful.

Overall, this experience was very disappointing and did not meet basic expectations.

The pool and hot tub was closed for renovation. The AC was not working properly in the lobby area. The lobby bathroom was closed and not usable. The elevators were filthy. And it took about 10 minutes before someone came to the front desk to check me and another guest behind me in line in.

The fitness center and pool were closed.
The only ice machine that worked was on the 4th floor.
None of the laundry facilities worked.
There was the same dirty green shirt and trash in the stairs for the whole 6 nights that we were there.
The breakfast was mediocre. Waffles were not always available.
There was lude writing and scrapes in the elevator.
Water pressure sucked and the water was not really hot.
Check in took quite awhile due to long line with one person working the desk. We had to have our key reprogrammed several times during our stay.
We had to ask for soap, toilet paper, and towels several times.

Our stay at the Wingate by Wyndham Corpus Christi was extremely disappointing and frankly concerning from a health and safety standpoint.

Both showers had visible mold, along with soap scum buildup in the shower dish. The mini fridge in one of our rooms had so much ice buildup in the freezer compartment that the door would not close, causing water to leak onto the floor. One room had no window shade at all, leaving the room fully exposed to anyone outside — a serious privacy and safety issue.

The hot water took over five minutes to get warm. The TV remote in one room did not work, and the front desk informed us they didn’t even have batteries available to fix it. The bathroom door made a horrific squeaking noise every time it was opened or closed. One bed was missing a comforter entirely.

The pool and hot tub were under repair and unavailable, which was disappointing, and only one ice machine (on the fourth floor) was functioning.

Most troubling was the condition of the property overall and the attitude of the staff. Front desk assistance was anything but helpful. We were told multiple times that “the owner knows about the issues” but refuses to address them.

This hotel is poorly maintained and shows clear signs of neglect. The mold alone raises serious health concerns. I would strongly caution anyone considering staying here to look elsewhere.

The indoor pool was out of order, there was no hot water, the water pressure was more of a dribble. We only received a sheet on the bed, no blanket, the fire alarms went off at 2:12am, I went to call downstairs to see what was going on and the phone didn't even have a cord connecting it. It was a fake phone. Tiles were broken in our room and it caught my shoe, I fell and hurt my knee really bad. The room was absoluetly disgusting. Looks like it hadn't been cleaned at all. Stuff on the walls, in the air vents, handprints on the headboard, \"stuff\" on the bedskirt, my daughter walked barefoot for 5 mins and the bottoms of her feet were black. This was the absolute worst hotel I have ever stayed at!

no water pressure first room, No remote for TV and A/C problems in @cd room , and TV quit working in 3rd room . all showers were filthy. Mold at bottom edge of shower and below soap dish . Staff not helpful even after having to move 2 times the first day

The room was dirty, dresser drawer was hanging off, there was dried up food on top of the dresser, holes patched up on the walls. I just did not feel comfortable or safe. I checked in and 5 minutes later, checked out. I could not stay there. I ended up going to a different hotel for the night. A refund would be nice.

This hotel sticks out like a sore thumb in the area, and NOT in a bad way. It is clean, classy in appearance, and that's merely the outside. The rooms are large and have ample storage space. New irons to iron clothing with, and nice hairdyers in the bathrooms. Room was spotless, the bed was insanely comfortable, and the atmosphere was just outstanding.

The lady upfront should have been a bit more helpful, when I asked for a Bellman’s cart I was told “go to every floor, and look for one” and “just carry your stuff upstairs.” Which was not helpful and extremely rude.

The internet does not work, stayed there 7 days and it was awful. Water was lukewarm and breakfast was bad. Pastry’s we’re state! Carpet is absolutely nasty. People were loud in the parking lot making it impossible to sleep. I expected Wyndham to do better than this!!

This place was great, great staff very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was an amazing hot breakfast every day, they had no problems with my pet. The place is very clean and kept up well, the only bad thing about this place is that it has no pool YET, but its winter time and I’m sure that will change by the time spring break comes around. For the price you can not beat this place I recommend this place 100% over all other properties. I don’t know if they have any kitchen units but that would be the only thing they lack if they don’t but I don’t know you have to check or call and ask if they do. I didn’t ask I just got a regular room which is huge. Not to mention the tvs all have Roku and so there’s tons of stuff to watch on tv. I highly recommend this place

pool and hot tub were closed even calling ahead before booking basicaly lied. there was a hole int the door and we had people pounding on our door at 4am looking for someone. breafast was cold and horible. just a bad place.
