The key didn’t work, toilet did not flush and there was mold in the bathroom. All in all the stay was unacceptable. Now keep in mind that this was not the first time that I have stayed at this place and that time was acceptable. Maybe new owners but I will not be going to this place again

we could give this place less than 1-star we would! The room wasn’t even clean from the last visitors. Hair was in the sink, and toilet, water marks on the mirror. The bathtub was dirty. We asked to be moved and they refused offering someone to come clean the room . “Someone” looked like a guy from the streets. The next guy that dropped off our pillows and towels (in a laundry bag), looked tweaked out. After checking the bed, we saw bed bugs on the mattress.
The staff was rude, and refused refunds. Do not stay here. This place should not be in business. It’s unsanitary, nor safe, and the staff doesn’t look like staff, but people off the street and the people that run the place are hoping you don’t stay to take your money. The pictures on their site look NOTHING like the place…BEWARE of bugs, sanitation and they will rip you off

There is no Palm and definitely no Bliss! There's so many rundown rooms. Property is not well maintained, messy, trash all over the parking lot, half-a$$ construction. Homeless people all around the back parking lot. The pool was the worst! The pictures in the listing are just for show. The \"Continental breakfast\" consisted of three bagel halves and toast. Coffee to drink and that was it!!! You get what you pay for. Would not recommend to my worst enemy!

This place was nasty dirty with bullet holes on the wall. Staff was immediately rude if you stay facing the bar area you might well park at the nearest beach to sleep peacefully. I heard arguments , yelling , fighting from the bar next door. Druggies live in one of the rooms and come across very threatening

Booked for my grandkids and they got there and immediately text me that the place was terrible especially for the price tag. Bugs everywhere even in the room and they opted not to stay so for 18 year olds to refuse to stay it had to be pretty bad. They said they talked to front desk staff and were told it was NON-REFUNDABLE (which should have been a red flag when I booked). They were told to contact Hotels.com which I am doing.

BEWARE HORRIBLE experience. I went out on vacation with my family, first of all my AC didn’t cool our room even though it was on all day and night. Maintenance guy came to check literally just put the piece that fell out supposedly. He said he would check on us 10 min later never came. We ended up sending my kids with their grandparents instead to sleeping there.
I would’ve expected it to be cleaner especially when kids also stay there, the rooms had dirt everywhere. My room was infested with roaches there were dead ones in cabinets and shower. The smell of the room wasn’t good it didn’t smell cleaned at all. I don’t mind an older hotel but it doesn’t seem like the rooms are being cleaned. I don’t like writing anything bad about places but this hotel really caught me off guard. So please if anyone books here please just pay extra somewhere else even if yall are on a budget because this place is not it. I would’ve expected the staff to atleast care about the guests. Please read the reviews before staying bc they are true. I understand 4th of July is busy and overwhelming but this hotel would improve so much if the staff took good care of the rooms. I would’ve expected the lady on the day of checkout to ask how our stay was but nothing was said. I would’ve expected refund but I don’t even want to deal with them saying “sorry for your experience we will improve”. Knowing that they don’t try just by reading the reviews.

Stayed here recently and was really disappointed for the price. I understand it’s a motel, not a resort, but this was well below even basic standards.

Noise carried on throughout the entire night, making it hard to get any real rest. The room itself was the bigger issue — bedding and comforters had visible dirt and stains, so bad that I’d recommend bringing your own blankets if you have no other choice but to stay here. The headboard had handprints on it, which made it pretty clear it hadn’t been wiped down between guests — not something you want to think about.

The bathroom was in similarly rough shape, with noticeable staining and mold that shouldn’t be there in any paying guest’s room.

Overall, this place needs a serious deep clean and better upkeep before it’s worth what they’re charging. Wouldn’t stay here again

The property felt so rundown and dirty that we didn’t end up staying and forfeited the entire night’s cost because it was a nonrefundable purchase.

While waiting to be helped because of so many people checking in, there were at least two groups that came in and had to get their key cards reset because they didn’t work. Someone else came up to the staff, and disclosed numerous issues in their room needing attention. A group that had two rooms had to wait about 20 minutes for one of their rooms to be cleaned and prepared and mind you this was about 9:30 PM.

We eventually got our keys and drove around to the back where our room was located, which was very dark, including the stairwell. We took our suitcases up and neither of our key cards worked. We decided that was the final sign that we needed to leave. When I told the staff that we were not going to stay and that it just felt very unsafe, they assured me that they would put their family members there and that it was the good part of town and perfectly safe. They also offered to put us in a room on the front side. Honestly, it was more well lit, but that doesn’t change the environment. Seriously, if this is the good part of town, I am honestly sorry to hear that. That is very concerning. They offered a free stay in the future, which did not make sense to me, but did not offer to refund our monies.

The staff are nice, but the property is in terrible shape.

nothing works. looks nothing like how they portray themselves on their website. there were needles on the ground & what looked to be blood on the stairs. sheets weren’t washed, just turned inside out. only three lights in the room. no microwave. no fridge. dirty everything. our room keycards stopped working everyday & we had to go get them from the lobby everytime we came back from the beach. the pool was literally green. creepy men hung out & attempted to get us in their room ‘because they used to sell makeup & he had some in his room’.

Was very misled by description and photos. Room we stayed at had water damage from some sort of leak on ceiling and mold growing on wall in the bedroom. Furniture was said to be clean had a lot of stains. Through out room lots of stains on carpet/walls/bed/bed sheets ect. Did not stay both nights after finding mold. Was not refunded for the 2nd night we were supposed to stay.

This was the worst experience I’ve ever had. After checkin I went to check the room and ended up needing to have our bedsheets changed out because of crumbs and unknown dried substances crusted on the bed. It looked like after the last people left all they did was make the bed and not change the sheets. When we were leaving for the beach, something told me to check the door. To my disbelief the door opened without a key being utilized, so anyone could have walked up and opened the door. Front desk had to have the electronic key lock changed so the door would lock. Shower had toothpaste and hair in it indicating that the shower was also not cleaned (I had to get cleaning chemicals from front desk and cleaned the shower myself). End of the night after our kids were asleep we heard a loud scream from outside which ended up being a domestic violence situation (guy tossed a girl down the stairs and was striking her). Saw several people walking around who looked like drug addicts and prostitutes. Overheard a conversation between the maintenance guy and management and the exchange led me to believe that the maintenance guy was going to go purchase drugs and management understood and was potentially a user as well. While checking out at front desk a call came in which the staff had on speaker phone. Turned out to be a room phone calling and all i heard was yelling, staff then shouted to another staff to call the cops, which I don’t believe they did. Will never stay here again.

Their “breakfast” was a joke basically non existent, the roaches were the unexpected roommates my family and I had to contend with. It was so bad we actually didn’t even stay the second night and just went home. Never again with that monstrosity of a place. I had upgraded to the “superior” room with the fridge and microwave and let me tell you the fridge barely functioned. The pool? Ha! Green as all get out. The beds? Hardly cleaned I will leave it there and let your imagination go with the rest. Do not go to this place if it can be avoided.

Worst place ever to stay! People kept banging the door in the middle of the night trying to get into the room! I had my 2 little kids and wife with me and they were scared to the point where we told the front desk lady that we are just going to leave because we don’t feel safe. She then apologized and said she can move us into another room to make us feel safe. So we ended up moving to another room and informed the owner early morning that we were up all night and even had to move rooms. In the end he didn’t do anything about it I’m not the one to complain to get discounts but I think me and family deserved a little somthing and not be charged full price. Overall rooms were super dirty it smelled like cigarettes and weed would not recommend this place to anyone especially if you go with children

Listing is NOT accurate. Rooms are dirty and moldy, and they will not refund you. The attendant was very understanding but the manager is not. We were shown 3 different rooms- all 3 had fruit fly infestations, dirty floors, and black mold around all 3 bathrooms. The grounds were littered with trash and the pool had a strong, pungent odor that was unavoidable.

We were greeted by trash thrown all over the stairs that we had to walk around to get to our 2nd floor room. It was mostly empty which was comfortable. Ice machines were all broken so if you stay here, spring for the room with he fridge & microwave. Toilet was crooked & at a weird angle so you couldn’t sit comfortably. I only booked here bec breakfast is listed as an amenity but it was abysmal. There was only bagels & toast for food. The coffee maker had fruit flies all over the drip catcher. The pool was green so don’t expect to swim at all. The room smelled extremely musty like it had a leak. The ac was very cold tho so that was appreciated. There was a $50 deposit to stay there.

This hotel is only fit for homeless people or street activities.

My water was running for hours in the tub. They came to fix it and once we took a shower it broke again. We didn’t bother to call them. I asked for towels. The room at Palm Bliss Hotel in Corpus Christi was filthy and unsafe. As soon as I walked in, I noticed serious problems.

There were roaches in the room, cigarette butts and trash left behind, and even syringe tops/drug paraphernalia. There was also exposed electrical wiring, which is a serious safety hazard.

The bedding was even worse. When I checked under the duvet there were bed bugs, spiders, and flies inside the sheets. It was completely disgusting and clearly had not been cleaned properly.

These conditions made the room completely uninhabitable and unsafe, so I had no choice but to check out immediately.

No guest should ever have to deal with this level of filth or safety risk. I strongly recommend avoiding this property.

This was by far nothing like the pictures. The absolute worst place I’ve rented. I walked into the room and the pillows were scrunched up like if someone was laying in the bed and just flipped the blanket over to get out of bed. There was trash in the trashcan and it smelled so bad. In the first five minutes, I saw two prostitutes and three crackheads. So bad I didn’t care about losing my $300 for two rooms.

.5 star. Checked in 10pm and employee \"L\" kept my drivers license by mistake. Followed up the next two days and then realized it was not even mentioned that a guest's personal information was lost due to employee negligence. Surveillance shows she placed my license on the check in desk and proceeded to leave the lobby and license on display at the front desk. Rm#1: I walked in and noticed the amount of mold in the entire room. Absolutely a health concern for everyone in the building. A 5 gallon bucket was under the sink due to a leak and also grew mold. Inspecting more, pubic hairs and used towels were reshelved and obviously not washed.
Returned to front desk to request clean room and report concerns when \"L\" notified me that she kept my ID and then realized it was no longer in her possession and lost. Long story short, I requested a refund after approximately 5 walk throughs and would have gladly left to find a room elsewhere but refund was denied by manager \"S\" and employee \"L\". Every single room shown had mold and unsanitary conditions. \"L\" neglected to keep my personal information safe and while she was out of the building for whatever reason, an individual walked in and proceeded to steal my drivers license from the front desk since it was left in plain sight.
This hotel needs to be shut down, demolished, rebuilt, and then managed properly. Employed individuals agree on record of the tremendous decline of the property.

Extra fees that were not disclosed in both reservations made in these last seven days. Its a real scam. No breakfast. No laundry machines that work. Housekeepers are just one guy who is on meth. They have blackmold. But we have no where to go. My wiis bedridden for the most part.They have given us until 5 pm to pay 100 dollars if not they lock the room with our stuff in it. This hotel is disgusting. The toilet was clogged from who ever stayed there before. The room smelled musty. There was mold on the ceiling. You could tell the room hadn’t been cleaned. The floor was dirty. The bed comforter had holes in it. The elevator did not work. I lost my money because I refused to stay there and they wouldn’t give me my money back. When we arrived to check-in, we were told there would be a $10 pet fee and a $50 room deposit in cash. We stayed at the Red Roof Inn the night before for $62 and chose this hotel because it was advertised for less, plus it offered continental breakfast. Total cost to us was $110. Cost of getting cash from card $15 in fees only to have them keep our deposit when we checked out for pet hair on the floor and claiming we smoked in a non smoking room. I had the police get involved to help get our deposit that was blatantly stolen. We needed accommodations for 2 nights, having only $150 to do so, including food, and now we're unable get another room for today.

My Wife and I stayed here for 4 nights. There are roaches crawling all over the outside of the building and also in the bathrooms. The staff is friendly but very nosey when you’re walking around the grounds, however, the grounds are well maintained and clean. (other than roaches) The WORST part about this hotel was our bathroom. After we had checked in and unloaded we spent the rest of our day at the beach. When we got back to our room and about to head to bed when one of us had to use the bathroom, the toilet wouldn’t flush. We had no toilet for 4 nights. We had to use the lobby bathroom or hold it till we went about our plans for the day. The sink was also clogged and wouldn’t drain so it was filled with nasty water. I definitely would not recommend anyone staying here especially for how much you’re paying.

Property was older and not well kept up. First room smelt like old wet mildew very strong like the room had gotten wet. Was upgraded to third flor as if it was any better. Roaches everywhere. Toilet didnt flush down properly. Lamps did not work or either broken. Cheap dainty towels and only two bath one hand towel and one wash cloth. One tiny bar of soap no body was or shampoo. Hair dryer did not work. Coffe maker did not work. The Tv did work nor the the screen function clearly. It looked like it had been drop. A/C BARELY kept room cooled. I was too tired to even complaint anymore. Just wanted to sleep get some rest from a long day from a funeral. Will not recommend nor will i ever stay here again. And if i wanted a better room on the first floor i had to pay more extra than what i was paying for in the first place. Do not was waste your time or money. No breakfast just basic coffe and cold pastry no hot breakfast no cereal offered. Pictures did not match website. No ice machines worked on property. No fridge or microwaves in rooms.no refunds or any thing.

Breakfast was bagel and toast and coffee with nats bussing around the container pool was not usable it was green ice machine didn’t work was charged an additional 50$ deposit that was returnable no microwave or fridge in room if I wanted that would been an additional 25$ per day … horrible experience

The property was not very well kept. The elevator was out of service. The room had a dirty smell to it as well as the bed sheets had stains. The shower was dirty and started non stop running after it was turned on the first time

The property advertises (and pictures show) it to be clean and modern and very nice.
Truth, the pictures have to be 10 years old, the rooms are run down and OLD and dirty.
DID NOT FEEL SAFE here.

This place is running a total scam!! That’s why it’s all nonrefundable!
Absolutely unfit to stay; I kissed my money goodbye rather than stay there, then found a decent hotel to stay in.
CAVEAT EMPTOR , Buyers beware!!!

Literally were there for an hour checked in one room smelled like wet dog moved us to another and it had bugs the property looked abandoned and like it should be condemned. Went to check out and the guy at the front desk would not give me proof I was leaving said his printer was not working asked for an email and still would not. So I took a video of him saying I was checked out!!! DO NOT ROOM HERE most unsanitary place o have ever seen in my life

The room had not been cleaned . The beds were very unmade. The shower had used soap in it.when I asked for my money back I was told no sorry you booked it through someone else. Do yourself a favor and do not go to this horrible place

Booked a room last second, walked in the room and right off the back their was roaches under the pillow and on the doorway wall. Room smelled like urine. Front desk even had to apologize after going to look for themselves. Disgusting and im hoping for my refund because i had to pay for another hotel.

The place was dirty not thing worked. No microwave no iron when we request it no ice machine towel were nasty we had to buy some and the door second lock was broken and last since we went through hotel.com they put us in the third floor. The only ones up there the pool was with green water. Not a good place to stay

We found a dead bed bug on the door frame and mold in the bathtub. The room was still dirty from the night before with sand still on the floors. We got our refund from expedia but We never got our deposit back. Trashy hotel.
