W hotel KL was the BEST luxury experience I've had. The hotel is so gorgeous in itself with the fabulous amenities and their amazing Wet Deck, but what really sold it for me was the staff. They are so friendly, chatty and really take your stay seriously.

I was in KL for 10 days to celebrate my birthday and some of the staff at breakfast (Flock) recommended some places to go, things to do. I don't think I would've had as good of a stay had I not stayed at W Hotel KL.

Flock restaurant made my mornings so much brighter and definitely was the right way to start the day. Keith (assistant restaurant manager) is so friendly, chatty and he really cares. He was telling me about the history of the popular local Teh Tarik tea. Brian also from the Flock restaurant, a lovely person who is smiley and curious about the guests enough to spark wonderful conversation.

And finally, Elaine. The W Insider. She was amazing. She became more than just a staff member but she became a friend. Her level of care and consideration is unmatched and i am truly truly thankful to not just have met her but to have been a guest at the W that she looked after.

I will undoubtedly be back to KL and mainly for the W hotel.

The W Kuala Lumpur makes a strong impression from the moment you walk in. The room design is clever and considered — an L-shaped layout with extensive use of mirrors that makes the space feel larger and more dynamic than it actually is. There’s a real sense of personality here, from the moody lighting options that let you set the room to whatever vibe you’re after, to the small details that show genuine thought has gone into the guest experience.
Bedding and pillows are excellent — proper five-star quality that makes a tangible difference to sleep. Staff are attentive without being intrusive; they called twice to check the room was to my satisfaction, and when an issue was flagged with the phone handset, someone was up within minutes to replace it. That level of responsiveness sets the W apart from hotels that simply go through the motions.
The pool deck is a highlight, transitioning into a DJ set by the pool in the evenings which gives the hotel a social energy that most KL properties lack. It feels like a place designed for people who actually want to enjoy themselves rather than just sleep and leave.
A few minor niggles: there’s more traffic noise than you’d expect from a modern purpose-built hotel at this level, the AC didn’t quite cool to my usual refrigerator room level, and there were faint sounds of drilling from renovations on the 13th floor. None of these were dealbreakers, but worth noting.
Overall, the W delivers something genuinely different - would recommend.

For city breaks possibly the best hotel I have stayed in. Location is exceptional being over the road from the Petronas towers with an unrivalled view from the rooms and the pool (wet deck).
The facilities and staff were next level too - nothing was too much and it felt like there was a genuine personal touch you don’t get these days. Absolutely certain to visit here again if I return to KL.

We had an amazing staycation at W Kuala Lumpur, and it truly exceeded our expectations.

The room design was absolutely stunning. Modern , stylish, and thoughtfully detailed. I especially loved the high-quality toiletries; you can really feel the luxury in every touchpoint.

The breakfast spread deserves a special mention, generous, well curated, and delicious.

The Wet Deck is another must-visit spot, perfect for leisure or gatherings. Enjoying the spectacular KLCC view from there was unforgettable. As Malaysians 🇲🇾, it made us feel incredibly proud to experience such an iconic view in such a vibrant setting.

A special thank you to front desk officer Ms. RD, who was professional, warm, and served us exceptionally well.

Overall, a truly worthwhile staycation experience. Highly recommended for anyone looking to enjoy Kuala Lumpur in style. ✨

Breakfast is good. 12th floor wet deck bar is awesome. Room is nice. Dinner on half board is terrible - had to go to another restaurant for dinner every day.

Not mentioned prior booking ‘tourist tax’ extra charge was pretty much unexpected, they charged at check out even though we were on a business trip. Petronas towers view was a bonus.

the swimming pool and the view over looking the twin tower was stunning! love it! the room was tidy clean, bed is so soft & comfortable, and breakfast was amazing! walking distance to klcc too. recommended

This place has just completely blown my socks off. Of all the 5-star hotels I have visited nothing compares to the W Kuala Lumpur! And that includes other W Hotels.

I help organizations be the best in their industry and one of the hardest things about that is convincing leaders to trust their team, to let good workers be happy by giving them genuine autonomy, within an accepted framework.

The W Kuala Lumpur is a shining example of management keeping a close eye on things but staying out of the way and letting their staff shine.

The result is an incredible experience for the guest. A genuine relationship with the team serving you.
The rooms are kept to a high, five-star standard, funky and stylish. The food is terrific at every venue.
The pool and pool bar are awesome, I haven’t seen a pool bar this big in Asia. Cool breezy day hangout location and awesome party at night, looking directly at the lit-up twin towers.

Nothing was too much trouble; they went out of their way to give me one of my most favorite weekend experiences.
Thank you so much, Nino, Emma & Billy Eyelash, I am truly grateful and inspired.

Overall very nice trendy hotel, excellent friendly staff and service… first room has an issue with smoking smell (immediately changed to new room) and second room has abandoned used toothbrush next to trash can under the toilet sink… maybe not visible to cleaning staffs just standing.. so cleaning wasn’t so thorough but done on the surface

Nice central location to get around KLCC area. Breakfast spread is good. Only thing we found difficult & irritating is the lighting -- the light switches are too difficult to operate. They may be subtle and stylish but what use is it if guests can't figure out how to operate a simple thing like the lights????

Loved our stay at the W Kualalumpur. The view of the Petronas towers from our room was breathtaking. The swimming pool overlooking the towers was also icon with bar and music. An excellent place to have a few drinks and relax. Our room was overlooking the towers and were treated with magnificent light show spectacle at the comfort of our room. The room itself is very modern. The bed was very comfy for a good night sleep. We used the \"Away Spa\" facility in the hotel for a massage and the masseuse was really professional and experienced. All hotel facilities were top notch and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Thank you for a very memorable stay and experience.

We stayed from Sunday to Tuesday. We were slightly disappointed that the housekeeping was not done on Monday, and we had to prompt the concierge twice before it was done. Also, the bathtub was faulty and required engineering to fix it. Other than that, it was generally a pleasant stay, and the wet deck was amazing.

It was amazing stay with aliitle bit of hicupps with the air conditioning. Nevertheless, noticed that the corridor air conditioning has been switched off during our stay. Not too sure if this is the default due to the low occupancy rate during pandemic time.

My stay at W KL was very pleasant and provided me with just the relaxation I need. Staffs are friendly and attentive. They gave me a room upgrade and late check out. The breakfast buffet was great with loads to chose from. Overall a good experience.

Pool was crowded so we did not go there. This can be area to improve, strict SOP in this area.

I never take the time to leave reviews but I am SO impressed with this property that I just had to. From the moment we checked in the service was incredible. Throughout our 9 day stay the staff went above and beyond every single day. I don’t think I had one bad experience. The rooms were the largest we have seen in all the trips we’ve taken for New Years to Europe or anything, the cleanliness was great not to mention the incredible location and views of the Petronas Towers! The food is some of the best food I’ve ever had in my life. Best breakfast buffet! Don’t think twice. STAY HERE!

W Hotel is quite new with a good size room. However, the bathroom is rather squashed, perhaps because the room is slightly more narrow than desired (for the design intended by the built in table). There's only 1 chair for the table and this is annoying when there's 2 of us!

Housekeeping generally OK, though they've regularly forgotten to refill the coffee milk!

Location wise - if you're looking to be near KLCC and Pavilion, Four Seasons or Grand Hyatt are better located.

Unfortunately the air conditioning in my room kept shutting off and they had to come and fix it at 4am as it was very hot in the room. I was disappointed as that was my first experience at the W. I've stayed at better 5 star hotels in the area. Probably wouldn't go back.
