Five day stopover

This hotel is centrally located and close to shopping malls, monorail and Petronas towers. The hotel staff are obliging helpful in providing advice on where to go and shop.

The hotel room smelt a little musty on first entering it..like it needs airing..but once in the room you soon forget it. The room is comfortable and spacious. The bathroom has many small personal items..shaving kits, tooth brush, soap, shampoo etc.

Had to laugh out loud when I found a price list you would be charged for items if you stole them from the hotel which included the TV and just about everything else in the room. I cannot begin to imagine people walking out smuggling items on the list.

The hotel breakfast was first class, as good as I have had anywhere. It is buffet style and caters for most tastes. The restaurant was also excellent for other meals and would recommend it.

The hotel have a pool, steam room and sauna which are excellent and complimentary and also a fitness room that is well equipped..I don't know if a charge applies to it. The only comment I would make is that the pool closes at 7pm and given the climate it would have been nice to be able to have an evening swim after dinner.

The hotel lounge has live entertainment beach evening up to 11.45pm and they were very good...a three piece..piano, sax player and singer who would also take requests..very professional. The drinks in the lounge are a little steep but given the entertainment quality acceptable

Unparalleled friendly staff and service with smiles and greetings. Daily made us gluten-free muffins for breakfast and sent up a plate of fruit for birthday & anniversary. Right around the corner from the Culture Center for Hop-On-Hop-Off tour bus.

4 Days in KL

The hotel is in very convenient location and only 10 minutes walk to KL Petronas Towers which we visited. It is a bog hotel and seemed fully occupied. This meant Brekfast was very busy and people were queuing up at times.
Only negative was check in. we had 3 rooms booked in total. Check in was very very slow. The receptionist made very hard work of soimething that should be very simple. It was about 14.30 and at first she said rooms were not ready - I complianed as it was after 14.00 and eventually found rooms.
Despite check in problems - would stay again because of location (near stations and KLCC).

We were only here for a short time, but had a good experience. The staff were really helpful at breakfast time and when we needed taxis. Lots of staff around and always someone at hand to help. Really pleased with our stay.

A great Hotel

This was my 3rd vacation to Malaysia. My first time staying at the Concorde. From the moment I walked into the lobby to check in the staff greeted me as if they have known me for years. Checking in was smooth and the staff helped me get my luggage to the room and waited to see if I was comfortable or needed anything else. Hard Rock Kuala Lumpur is in the concorde along with great dining alternatives. Free breakfast, a newspaper on my door know every morning a fitness center swimming pool. A very short walk to he Pavilion mall ND to the KLCC and twin towers. I will return to the concorde on future trips..you cannot go wrong staying at the concorde in Kuala Lumpur.

Nice Hotel

The Hotel was nice, we stayed for 4 days and its close to everything. Would not recommend walking anywhere because of the heat. But it is near the mono-rail (Bukit Nanas Station). The toilet started to smell on day 2 and they just sprayed air freshner that didnt help.

First of all I should say that I made a mistake with my booking dates. I booked us in from 2nd-4th October. I meant to book the 3rd-5th. We duly arrived on 3rd onlt to learn that we had missed our first night's stay. I hoped the hotel might be able to shift the booking forward a day but they would not give an inch. Maybe that's normal practice for hotels, I'm not sure. They claimed that because payment had been paid up front through hotels.com there was little they could do. They also said that if they did as I hoped they would it could represent lost revenue as they could have sold the room to someone else. (That only matters if the hotel was full though, right?). Anyway everything else about the hotel was fine. But my stuff up with the dates and the way the hotel then dealt with it led to us paying for another night and a disappointing start to our visit to Malaysia.

The reason why I choose to stay in this Hotel is because I have to attend a wedding function at the Grand Ball room on 4/10. So together with 5 other cousins from HK & China I choose to stay here more of convenience.
Staffs are friendly and helpful despite some hiccups in the beginning regarding transport which I believe is beyond their control.
Any we had a pleasant stay at the hotel.

Everything was excellent, friendly, helpful check in staff, great choice of breakfast foods, room had view of petronas towers.
Location was great as access to Bukit Nanas monorail was literally 2 mins up road. Very easy way to get around. Also in walking distance of Petronas, KL tower, Malaysian Tourist Centre (Malik) dont miss the fab cultural show there, many restaurants etc.
Room comfortable and quiet.

Overall, would highly recommend.

Modest hotel but room category get me puzzled.

Stay was modest. However, was unhappy with the room info. In hotel official website, it stated that Deluxe room was from level 8th-15 flr and 7th flr below till 3rd flr were Superior Room. Thus I booked for a Deluxe room since it's also bigger than the Superior. However, during check-in I was given a room at 6th flr instead. I asked and he mentioned and confirm that it's s Deluxe room too. I was puzzled. Since I insisted on higher flr, they moved me to the 10th flr which we find out wasn't any difference than the 6th flr. I felt cheated. Is the website info outdated?

Short break in KL

The Concorde in a good position for tourist outlets. 5 mins walk to Bukit Nanas station, twin towers, tourist information bureau,and hop on hop off bus No.1 stop. Hotel was busy but clean. Excellent breakfast with great variety of choice and plenty of seating. Staff friendly and very helpful.

Hotel close to attractions

Hotel is very convenient to attractions like patronas tower and KLL tower. Mono rail station is nearby. Very busy road, lot of shops and restaurants around the hotel. Very good hotel. I would stay in this hotel again if I get chance to visit KLL. Staff ver helpful, rooms are spacious, bathroom good and clean.

super close to the Bukit Nana station!

Before check in, have been emailing their staffs regarding early check out and booking a ride from the hotel to KLIA2, the staffs replied quickly and were very helpful trying to fulfill my requests. Upon check-in, staffs were very nice however a bit slow, but acceptable. However, it was a bit disappointing as seeing the outside structure is pretty new, however, the rooms are fairly old, maybe require some redo in the interior too, and fairly dark, but we got the view of the Twin Towers and the pool, what else can we ask for. We asked the staffs to get around the city, and it was fairly close to Pavilion, they suggested us to walk, which took us about 15 minutes, which was okay even in a hot summer day. (But we then realise there were shuttle bus that is just outside the hotel, but its okay, we get to go around the city, right?) And of course, we took the shuttle bus to the Twin Towers, and managed to catch it back to the hotel. Upon check out on our last day, we were given the breakfast which we requested for, evevn though it was small pasteries and fruits, it was more than what we have expected. However, it took us almost 15 minutes to complete the check out procedure, and we were left with less than 45 minutes to get to KLIA2. By the time we were done check out, we rushed towards the ride we have booked earlier, and asked the driver if we could reach KLIA2 before 6am, which we were very thankful of him for taking the speed up for us, and we managed to get there by 5:50am.

Decent 4* Hotel in Good Location.

Typical 4* hotel in great location, about 10 min walk to Petronas Towers and 20 min walk to Bukit Bintang area.
My room was a little tired and needed new furniture. The bed was quite hard which in my case was fine as I prefer harder mattresses however someone else may not.
The bathroom was huge and luxurious, all marble.
Breakfast buffee was huge with great choice of Western and Malaysian food. Coffee did not taste good however and only filter coffee.
The pool is on Level 1 and with construction going on next door very noisy and hard to relax. I didn't use it which is a shame because I was looking forward to the pool. Also the bar was shut and not much going on.
All in all I would stay again due to the good price for value ratio and good location.

The staff were good.The Buffet breakfast & dinners were excellent.
Not happy about the water leaking from the air conditioner through the hall light twice.This can become very dangerous. Vacumming the water up is not the answer.
The pool area was very comfortable & clean. The upholstery on the lounges need new material on some outdoor cushions.
The Armchair in my room needs repairing,the arms are very loose.
Water leaks out of the shower onto the toilet area. This can be easily fixed by drilling a hole through the grout on a 45* angle so the water flows back into the shower.
You need to fix these issues to keep your rating.

The staff & food make the hotel.
The rooms need urgent repair.
In Melbourne I have a restoration business that restores hotel rooms,we have been fixing ***** Star hotels for many years so basically reupholster your furniture inside & outside & some general repairs & you will keep a 4.5 star rating,now it is 4 star.

Great hotel in the city center.
Everything was just so perfect, breakfast is great. Since Hotel is in the city most of the landmarks are close, tips is to visit Twin Towers (book online).
I was there during KL Race Weekend (1st ever), and enjoyed the sound of V8 engines (middle of Aug), so if you like cars and sound of V8 - KL is your next destination in Aug 2016. Or travel to KL in Sep 2015 when F1 visits town.
Hotel personal was very friendly and gave tips abt what to see in the town and secret places not known for tourist so explore the city, KL is reaaaally FUN!

Emailed few days before check-in about my room requests of having the petronas view and they were very accomodating thereon. Stayed for 3 nights and check-in was a breeze. We had three rooms with us and all were kept clean daily. Was dissappointed because deluxe rooms didnt have a tub considering its a 4 star hotel. One of my companions had a problem with his key wherein he was not able to access his room and use the lift since you need to insert it to acces the floors. Breakfast was good and wifi connection was fast.

Good 4-star hotel but with few negatives

Location is the key, in the heart of KLCC and 2 minutes walk from MRT. Hard rock caffe is adjacent to the hotel. Rooms and facilities were clean. Service was good, we got 2 hours late check out for free and they kept our luggage for many hours. Breakfast was good, although they didn't accept anyone after 10:30. Actually during the last hour they didn't replace some of the empty trays, you had to go earlier to have everything available. Rooms looked tired, they need renovation to keep the competition with other new hotels in the area. Another negative was the view from my room, it looked at the back of the hotel (so no views of Petronas or Menara tower). The room was at the 13th floor but I could hear an annoying sound from generator or ventilation system at the back of hotel. This was the biggest minus for my stay at this hotel. Good hotel but I will not come back.

\"Superior Room\" with only shower.

I was surprise to find my Expedia reserved \"Superior Room\" had no bathtub when I walked into the room. Expecting a room change, I had to wait for the receptionist call back without opening the luggage. I waited for 30 minutes, though I was told to wait for 2 minutes. Then I was told again to wait for 2 minutes and I decided to call back after more than 30 minutes, now totaling over one hour of waiting. I talked to the operator explaining the situation, then shetook over the case and did call back within a reasonable few minutes and told me their \"Superior Rooms\" have no bathtubs.
It was my first disappointed hotel reservation made through Expedia. I wish Expedia takes a little more serious care in the description of the hotel making sure all basic facilities meet the standard. Expedia should have written \"Superior Room without bathtub\", then I woould have reserved another hotel.
Their restaurant staff were attentive and good. The hotel was just average on other points.

I like the Concorde Hotel; it is well-located and it is reasonably priced. The room I stayed in was well decorated and well kept. The only complaint I had was the odd smell in the bathroom. I suspected a dead rat. Management should investigate. The room I stayed in was 1303. A big problem is in my opinion the behaviour of the Iranian guests in the lobby in large groups. However, I will return because I was very pleased with the room and the service provided by your staff.

The stay was average. It's a 4 star hotel that has passed its peak time. The rooms seriously needs to be upgraded with emphasis on the doorless closet and the very old carpeting.
it seems like an 80s hotel. They have the staffing of a 4 star. Breakfast buffet quite comprehensive. Fairly priced.

Concorde Hotel - comfortable and good value

Not the best of location for getting around the \" golden triangle \" on foot
and neighbourhood seemed pretty sleazy at night, definitely not for family with younger children!Room was comfortable though,and we were on the 11th floor and insulated from any traffic noise from the busy roads below.
Checking in and out was hassle-free and staff were helpful and friendly.
Buffet breakfasts provided at the hotel was good with a wide selection to appease all tastebuds,but I would stay away from the coffee,barista or
the on-the-tap variety! Overall, it's good value for money.

Most impressive staff is the one helping us getting taxi everyday,he scans them first if its meter taxi..very attentive..
Room size a bit small..twin beds r small..
Cleaning staff very detail..
Avoid rush hour traffic..

My room Was upgraded upon arrival from my long trip by a lovely staff member called anantha (who went out of his way to make me feel at home). Hotel staff are friendly and courteous. Location is perfect for city meetings and close to major transport links (mrt, lrt), overall wonderful stay

Courteous helpful Staff .... Location very convenient near Mono rail Station .... Sumptuous breakfast .... Hopefully next time a room with a nice view ... Would think of Concorde on my next visit to KL 👍

Nice , modern hotel , at convenient location

For an international hotel, it has all the basics , services were prompt , it took me two hours to iron my silk dress , due to a fault on the setting , basically it was not working, upon requested it was replaced promptly.
The staff were attentive , but lack listening skill , e.g while waiting for my family to pick me up in the lobby , I asked the staff to charge the phone battery , she politely took my phone , half an hour later , when I picked up the phone , it was not charged as instructed , it was for safe keeping only , quite annoyed , just small things that makes the tourist life a little easier, if she listened ( basic of hospitality , make your guest life easier, demure smiles does not get you very far ) . Had a beer at the bar , ($29.00 MR0 , when the bill was given to me , I checked it was $84.00 , even without my reading glass ( lost in the plane) , that's pretty bad impression for a tourist.Take care with correct bill for the right guest , that's how you will gain a bad reputation, even though it was an innocent mistake.

CONCORDE...JUST LIKE THE AIR CRAFT..VERY MAJESTIC

This hotel is massive and it exceeded my expectations. The bed was really hard for me and I woke up with a sore back most mornings. We endured travel time of 19 hours and arrived at the hotel after 10.45pm. We woke up slightly late for breakfast, but they would not give us even a slice of toast! The receptionist was very rude. The hotel really is GRAND and air con great. The Monorail is just 5 mins walk away and the Petronas Twin Towers about 8 mins walk. You must observe the city from the top of the Towers, it is magnificent. The Suria shopping mall is massive! There are bars and clubs just a walk away. Loved KL so much and the people are so nice. Be careful at night though as you would anywhere.Breakfast buffet really good variety with a big eating area. The only downside was that it was cold while eating breakfast and the food was not entirely hot, but certainly became cold with the air con. We are definately gong back here,but in a cooler climate as the heat in mid April was very intense and quite unbearable. Go on the hop on hop off city tour bus as it really is worth the money. Time Square and China Town a great place to shop and cheap. You must have lunch at The KL Tower. You must go to the Genting Highlands. It's a wonderful memorable experience and well worth the money. Cheap to stay at the hotel up there. Basic room with twin beds only £22.00. You get alot for your money in KL.

The buffet breakfast and dinner are very nice and come with variety of choices.
The staffs are very friendly. However, the room condition needs to be improved. For example, the wall is a bit dirty and needs urgent attention.

Excellent location for exploring KL.

Ideally situated for visiting Petronas Towers which is only a 10 minute walk away. Room was very comfortable with a fantastic view if the Petronas Towers.
Breakfast was very sumptuous with a great choice.
