This is a lovely hotel in a slightly run down area of Seville - around 20 mins walk to the main sites. The hotel itself is very clean with large rooms and a lovely pool terrace with amazing views over the city. The staff were very friendly and Chris in particular was very helpful with local information and recommendations. There are a number of nice tapas bars within easy walking distance of the hotel and the area feels safe to walk around.

We had enough, but by the end we were running low, and the daily cleaning could have been a bit more thorough — for example, a used water glass wasn’t replaced. I’m sure if we’d mentioned it, the staff would have sorted it straight away, but ideally it would have been done automatically.
Overall though, we really enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend this hotel for couples or adults looking for a peaceful base near the city.

It was so noisy that I did not sleep the 3 nights I was there and I was there for my birthday. The hotel staff suggested I move rooms but why would I do that halfway through my stay? They should have moved the guests making noise until 2am. Beware if you are staying beneath someone else as there is no soundproofing

A lovely stay in Triana, Seville.
The hotel staff are really lovely, friendly and very helpful. The hotel itself is nice if a little dated and the rooms could be upgraded, the flooring was chipped and walls were marked. Rooms could do with a deep clean particularly around the skirting boards and the grout in the shower. While the room was serviced daily, my sheets weren’t changed during my 5 nights and the floor in the bathroom never looked like it was hoovered properly. The pool area is nice but the sun loungers are really uncomfortable and it lacked atmosphere. Would be lovely if they played some music (I understand this may not be possible as there were residential apartments nearby). Would be great if they also offered food options at the pool area. You also have to pay for a towel to use at the pool which is just completely unnecessary at a 4 star hotel (it’s only €1.50 but you need to pay it for each time you want a clean towel) The lobby is like a bachelor pad from the 90’s, gives Patrick Bateman vibes. Overall it was a lovely stay, the location is great, Triana is beautiful and easily walkable into Seville centre.

If you prefer a hotel slightly outside of a city centre, the hotel Monte Triana is ideal. All the attractions of Seville are a walk away across the bridge into the city centre. The Mercado near the bridge is worth a visit. Roof top pool is lovely, staff friendly and efficient, immaculately clean room, very happy traveller!

The hotel like some other cheap hotels turned off the AC, and the rooms are hot. They expect you to open your windows no matter what it is the outdoor conditions.

The first time we stayed there was in 2001 and then just recently in 2004 this year. We enjoyed both our stays and the staff were very friendly and helpful, and the hotel and room were clean. We really enjoyed the breakfast buffet which had a varied selection of hot and cold food.
The only negative things that we found was that the rooms are small. And the renovation has given the hotel more of a colder feel than the warmer decor they had in 2001.
The Triana area is interesting to walk around, and it is about a 20 minute walk to the old town, which is also beautiful.

Very comfortable hotel just inside the Triana district, over the river from the centre. Rooms were well equipped, with effective a/c (it was 30 deg during the day), fridge with mini bar, kettle (on request) and a great green/red light system for requesting your room to be serviced that day, or not. Pool on 5th floor was a real bonus, nice bar area and sufficient sunbeds whatever time we arrived back in the afternoon. We didn't eat breakfast in the hotel but there were numerous options with 5-10 mins stroll. would definitely stay in the Monte Triana again

As a frequent traveller and reviewer of hotels, The hotel \"Hotel Monte Triana\" is just nice. The staff are helpful and polite but the room walls are fairly thin so can be rather unpleasant at times. The hotel breakfast and room service menu lacked with very limited selection and very little feel to Spanish foods or flavours. Guests should be welcomed to the tastes of Spain in the hotel to which they choose to stay. For the facilities, the gym is very small not ideal for more than 5 people but the pool is adequate, Aesthetically pleasing with views of the city.

We had a great experience at Monte Triana we stayed for three nights, it’s in walking distance to the historic area of Sevilla, tons of restaurants to choose from. Our overall experience was great from our check in with Jose and Leticia they were wonderful, gave us tons of recommendations and were very sweet and helpful with any questions we had. The breakfast was great with tons of options as well. The room was very nice and clean as well the bathroom they have thought of everything at this hotel from slippers to tooth brushes and a nespresso machine. We definitely recommend it!!!

Upon realizing, we asked for another room, and got a comment that it's very unusual to see ants in this hotel. We'd later also find a couple more ants in the second room, so I'm not sure about that comment, although much better than the first room where I literally killed over 20 ants in the first 10 minutes of being in the room.
The shower gel bottle had hair in it, we were grossed out and just used shampoo instead.
Finally, the cherry on top, I wanted to use the property highlight, the rooftop pool, and found that they charge for towels to use the pool!
You're forbidden from using your bedroom towels, which is common, but having to PAY for towels in a 4 star hotel is ridiculous and such a stain on the relaxing mood you're looking for when booking an upscale property.
What's more, they hide the charge for the towel behind a \"refundable deposit\" that they also bill you when using the towel, and use deceptive language to hide the fact that you're actually charged both a refundable deposit AND a rental cost of identical pricing... Just bad business all around.

Overall it was a really nice hotel. The only shame is that we had to change the room twice. First time because tv wouldn’t connect to internet (or to the phone) and we were unable to watch anything on it. After changing the room, the TV would finally work but there was water leaking from the ceiling in the bathroom! We have asked to change again as it was impossible to step in that bathroom. The third (and last) room’s TV wouldn’t connect to internet again and we just gave up.
Please fix the TV connection issue as it’s a service we paid for (and the price for the overall stay definitely wasn’t cheap). Quite disappointing I’m afraid.
