Every staff member is extremely helpful. The property is centrally located. Everything is clean and well maintained. I love that they could easily accommodate a Gluten Free diet restriction for breakfast. However, I wish they would offer GF sweet pastries. They only have GF bread.

One negative. Parking. Parking at Magdalena is very convenient ( 5 minute walk). BUT, 36 Euros per day. This hotel does not validate nor does it have any on site parking. Be aware.

The location was very convenient and the design and the hotel itself was very unique! I loved the interior courtyard feeling and the rooms were well appointed and made our stay more enjoyable! Amazing hotel!!

The hotel is so beatiful, the staff is so helpful and makes you feel welcomed all thr time. The room was always maintained very clean, and they give you complementary sweets upon arrival!! Bed was very comfy, i loved the bathroom too. Its soundproofed the room, which its great. TV is very big and its a smart tv, so it comes handy when you just want to chill watching netflix after long day. Location is peffect, close to triana and city center.

Not worth the stay. Entrance to the hotel and the lobby are nice and the staff/front desk are superb at their jobs. However, that’s where it ends.

The room was a bit more like a higher class Mote 6. It’s been several decades since I’ve been in a Motel 6, and I was hoping not be in a room like that again. The bathroom was nice, but the actual room seemed very cheap and outdated. The floors looked cheap, hairs underneath the linen sheets, no comforter, and all just Motel 6 vibes. The closet/armoire is horrendous. The doors literally fell off when I was trying to open it.

Breakfast was included, but was not worth it. Eggs looked like liquid eggs, waffles were stiff and looked/tasted prepackaged.

To sum it up, the staff was great but the hotel was definitely lacking. To identify itself as 4 star hotel is very overrated. This is 2-star hotel at the most. Hence I give this hotel a 3 star review, 2 stars for the hotel plus 1 star for the staff.

I guess was spoiled with 4 star hotels I stayed at in Barcelona and Granada, which really were 4 star hotels.

We stayed for six nights and had a fabulous stay. Room was lovely, a good size and well equipped. Breakfast was excellent, lovely food and good portions. All the staff were extremely welcoming and very helpful. Nothing was too much trouble for them. They were superb!! The roof top terrace and plunge pool were a real bonus and very welcome for a mid afternoon break from sightseeing. The location is very central and a perfect base for seeing the sights on both sides of the river. There are plenty of eateries nearby and an excellent supermarket just next door. We had a room at the front of the hotel (5) and on most mornings the supermarket deliveries could be heard but since we were happy to be getting up early it was not a problem for us but if you don’t won’t to be woken between 6.30-7.30 then opt for a room on another side of the hotel. Overall we absolutely loved our stay and would highly recommend Hotel Legado Magdalena.

We had a great experience at the Legado Magdalena. Our room and the hotel itself were very attractive, with clean, modern lines and very clean. The bed was comfy.
Breakfasts were excellent and more than ample, with enough variety to please just about anyone. And every staff member we came across was genuinely helpful. The hotel really ticked all the boxes. (We visited in March so can’t comment on the roof deck or pool)

We have just spent 4 nights at this hotel and would highly recommended. The check-in is friendly and efficient. Ask for the list of tapas recommendations!! Rooms are spacious and clean. The rooftop area was great for sundowners. Comfortable large bed, powerful shower, Molton brown toiletries. The location of the hotel also great, all the main sights are within walking distance. Overall, we have had a fabulous stay in Seville, made better by our stay in this fabulous hotel.

Perfect gem

This hotel is a gem. It’s located in a great area, within walking distance to Seville’s most popular areas. The stag was courteous and responsive and they went out of their way to make our stay perfect. The rooms are very nice. The beds are comfortable and it was very quiet. We had an early departure and they made sure we had a taxi and a picnic box for breakfast. We couldn’t have been happier.

This is a very sweet hotel. We loved our stay at the Magdalena. The room was comfortable incredibly well designed — a perfect soft landing for our two night stay in Seville. It was easy walking distance to all of the historic and cultural highlights. The breakfast was delicious. The Catalina restaurant across the street was a great spot for tapas and Spanish wine! Location was good but not in the middle of everything (quiet). Still only a short walk to the cathedral and Santa Cruz.

Our room was very quiet and the blackout curtains worked well. It was very clean and well equipped. The bed was large and comfortable.
The bathroom was spacious with Molton Brown shower gel and shampoo.

Hotel is full of charm. We stayed for 6 nights and found the hotel in a great location, basically ten minutes from all the main attractions of the old city. Only issue if any, the bedroom was large and very comfortable, but only one wardrobe and no chest of draws or units. Staff were very helpful and recommended some good bars and restaurants. The European style breakfast was good.

Hotel legado Magdalena was a lovely hotel to stay at. We arrived around midnight due to a very delayed flight and were welcomed wonderfully. All the staff at the front desk were kind and helpful. We were upgraded to a junior suite which felt special. It was at the front of the hotel, on the street which was a bit noisy on occasion but that is just a minor quibble. And one that was out of the control of the hotel. Locationally, great. 5 minutes walk to the river and lots to see there; 10 minutes walk to the Santa Cruz area with many of the major sites. We liked the convenience of being able to easily access the sites without being in the main tourist area. Overall, a beautiful, understated but aesthetically pleasing hotel. One we would happily return to.

From the moment we arrived until the moment we left the hotel and staff were fantastic .
The room was great with probably the largest bed I have ever slept in and the shower was one of the best I have used.
All the staff were first class but a special mention to reception who were brilliant and the dinner and tapas choices they gave were excellent.
The hotel was in an ideal-spot to see all the sights Sevilla has to offer and all within comfortable walking distance.
We will return to Sevilla and would have no hesitation in staying here again.
