An excellent place to stay when visiting Derry. They are extremely friendly and accommodating. It is about a kilometer from the city center and very quiet. Clean and comfortable rooms, and a nice continental breakfast to start off each morning. I would definitely stay again.

Mary runs a delightful inn in a working-class area of Londonderry (Derry). While there is no parking on the premises, there is ample street parking and it’s a very quiet and safe area.

The house is decorated tastefully and comfortably--I have rarely been this comfortabe. Our room and all the main areas were spotless and there were many nice touches, like the heated towel rack in the bathroom.

Breakfast had a great variety and was served as a buffet in the dining room. It was fresh and delicious, in a lovely setting.

The house is located a short walk from the waterfront with easy access to historic sites, bars, and restaurants.

If we are ever fortunate enough to return to Derry, we will try to stay at Rose Park House again.

The property is located in a relatively quiet neighbourhood. The host was inviting, pleasant, and provided a brief history lesson that allowed us to appreciate Derry much more! There are a couple pubs and a pizza place within 1-2 minute walk. The walk to Derry Walls (and area) is conveniently ~15 minutes away, however, be prepared to walk up and down steep inclines/many stairs - bringing a bottle of water would have been a good idea. Cheers!

We only had one night in Londonderry and we believe we made a good choice with this bed and breakfast. The host was very nice and provided a good breakfast. The location was good. It was walkable restaurants and sights we wanted to see while in Londonderry. We were able to park very close. The room was good for us and we were happy to have our own bathroom. The room was a little small for managing big travel suitcases but that was expected. Overall, our experience was great and I’d be happy to return if I have the opportunity. I’d also recommend it to others.

We loved our stay at Rose Cottage. Tom was an amazing host and greeted us, showed us where to park, and had suggestions for where to eat in Derry after a long drive. The room was clean and comfortable and the breakfast selection was great, we chatted to the family and other guests at breakfast and they made us feel so welcome, we wish we could have stayed longer! Perfect weekend away

Thomas and his family were so incredibly welcoming to us when we stayed for a long weekend. Thomas local and historical knowledge was so interesting and we ended up talking over breakfast everyday, hearing his first hand account of the 'troubles' and life in Derry past and present. It's not often that you meet someone who is so engaging and open. Rosepark it's self is perfect, an easy 15 mins taxi from the airport and 10 mins walk into the centre through the park opposite. The bed was super comfy and we slept like a dream. We will definitely be recommending it to our family and friends and will be back for a return visit for sure.

We went on the Bogside history walking tour on Thomas's recommendation and weren't disappointed. The owner/organiser of the tours, Paul ,even took us for a coffee as he couldn't do the tour time we had aimed for, giving us an extra 1 on 1 backdrop to the city and history beforehand. The walking tour was emotive and honest and very informative, and also easy (for those worried about the hills it avoids them all)

We ate a great thai/Vietnamese restaurant called Mekong, the food was incredible! Defo worth a visit

Our friendly and very helpful host and family made our stay most enjoyable. It was useful to learn about the city, its history and places to go. Our room was quiet, warm and comfortable and the hot breakfast very welcome. The Guest House is about 20 minutes walk from the city centre and main sights across a park. A bonus is the free parking available. Because there was so much to see and do locally and regionally we stayed an extra night.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Rose Park House where the owners are warm, kind and friendly and will not hesitate to assist in anyway. It is a family run business.
It's very quiet, 5* hygiene rating, non-smoking, street parking, rooms are lovely with ensuite, excellent beds, breakfast is either cooked or continental until 9.30am, 17min walk into town, heating, good wifi, a small dog on site (cat is outside) and a family run business with a statue of Mary in the upper window at the front of the house.

The property is immaculate and in an excellent location for the city. The facilities are exactly what you need and the breakfast was delicious. Having stayed at B&B's all over Ireland on this trip, most of which were top quality, the item that is so commonly not given sufficient focus is the comfort of the beds. This was not the case at Rose Park House where the beds are exceptionally comfortable with the use of memory foam mattresses. This makes a big positive difference.

Owner made this establishment. He is a delight to converse with and a plethora of knowledge of the area. He has great suggestions as to what to see, where to eat etc. If you are into history of this area he is your man. Because of our conversations, I ended up purchasing several history books of this area.
Negatives of the stay....we should have stay a few more nights. My mistake for trying to be everywhere, needed at least 3 nights here.

From checking in to leaving this place and the people who run it were 100 percent perfect they had a wealth of knowledge which they passed over to us the history etc and stories were great to listen to. The owner even took us down to a walking tour so we would be there on time he was amazing with all his stories, bb.
