Very comfortable Lheritage Diamond hotel, rooms clean and cool, staff very friendly and helpful. Great location for the old town, and we loved the rooftop restaurant for the views across the city.

When I arrived,The staff was very friendly.
And above all, the breakfast was delicious.
The menu changes a little every day, but it seems to be good.And here you can also apply for tours, which are more reasonable than you think, so you can apply for NinhBinh Tour and Halong Bay Tour.
I stayed here for three nights and the building itself felt a trace of the ages, but it was always nice to keep clean.
It was close to Lake Hoan Kiem and good accessibility. If you are looking for a really good hotel.

I had a wonderful experience during my stay here. The staff were very helpful, friendly, and nice, especially Sabi. Their breakfast was delicious, offering a wide range of both Vietnamese and Western dishes. The room had everything I needed for a comfortable stay, and the location was convenient, close to almost everything.

We stayed at the Hanoi Lheritage Hotel for 4 nights . Everything was absolutely perfect. The hotel is well decorated, clean and the staff are kind. It is also located only a few minutes walk from Old Town. I would highly recommend this hotel.

All around, one of best hotels I have stayed at. It is in a great location central to the old quarter. The balcony room is very nice and has a comfortable bed with high quality pillows. The service staff is very helpful and knowledgeable about things to do around the city.

Not bad, but...

I stayed 1 night at the L’heritage Diamond, and one night at a different property.

The L’heritage Diamond ( LD) was 20% more expensive than the other hotel. However, the other hotel handily beat the LD in every meaningful category : cleanliness, guest service, design, comfort, noise level, and value.

Management would be well advised to implement a better system of monitoring and ensuring room cleanliness. My bedsheet had a very noticeable red stain, and there were numerous hairs on the bathroom floor and a towel.

The staff in the lobby and restaurant were pleasant, and professional for the most part.

Overall, my stay was decent, but not great.

We were upgraded at check in. Big room, very clean, great shower. Breakfast good but offered the a la carte menu only after we finished buffet - which had nice choices.

Cons - noisy. Construction behind and in front of hotel. Noisy air con and could hear plumbing from adjacent bathrooms. Slept with earplugs.

Nice staff but not as polished as better hotels. Avoid driver to/from airport. Overly aggressive, on phone much of trip and drove too fast. Taxi drivers were more careful than he.

Wonderful family room with great set up with two connecting rooms. Wonderful reception staff with Marteen doing a great job managing reception and Viet Anh so helpful and kind. Massage staff wonderful and gave our children great massages for a very reasonable fee. Totally recommend this hotel and would definitely stay here again as faultless and great location.

On arrival we were put in a room on 4th floor. Very hot and no lift. We asked to be moved which was achieved on day 3 of 4. The new room by the pool on ground floor was excellent. Pool was lovely, but there was building work going on right next to the pool which was all day and noisy and dusty. Would stay agin but only in round floor poolside room. Breakfast was good. Staff were friendly and helpful.

Will become very good in near future

Nice hotel, but the do construction work on the other side of the street. We got moved from a nice front room to a cramped side room to escape the noise. When constructions are finished in a few months this will be a perfect place to stay in the old town. Nice 9th floor breakfast restaurant with view. Clean rooms, new hotel, good service.

The room was a lot smaller than we expected. We booked 2 separate rooms for my husband and I and my friend and her boyfriend. I am not sure if they had given both of us a really small room because we stayed for one night or if that is the size for all the rooms. It would be do-able for just one person. Thankfully we only had 1 luggage cause we wouldn’t know what to do if we had 2. We ended up staying at another sister hotel after our halong bay tour and it was a lot more comforting.

This is the best hotel I have been to in my life! The staff here are friendly and helpful especially Emmanuel and his team. They provided many good recommendations for delicious food and fulfilled every request we made. Hotel responded to our emails promptly and accurately. And they alway keep their professional attitudes to the guests.
The breakfast is good and location is so convenient. Room are clean and comfortable.

Great location in the old quarter. Easy walk to the markets, Lake, Church and shops. There was construction across the street that went on late into the night on the first night we were there, but staff graciously moved us to a quieter room. When the construction is complete (it'll be a while), the street will be relatively quiet for the old quarter. The Manager Manuel was very attentive and Christina the consierge was helpful beyond words. Breakfast was included and the restaurant at the top of the hotel offers a nice view of Hanoi when the air is clear.

Not as I expected. Horrible location with construction everywhere. The room was extremely small and in general, it reminded me of a motel versus a hotel. The bathroom, especially the tub/shower combo was weird. All in all, I would never stay here again. The hotel staff were gracious and were well aware of my concern as I submitted my initial feedback and they comped my ride from the airport to the hotel. This rating has nothing to do with the staff, but the hotel in general. Thank goodness I only had to stay there for several hours.

Staff was very courteous and excellent. Each person was helpful. Initially one felt that the hotel was in too crowded an area but then it was close to lake and all restaurants, cafes and roadside shopping was nearby. Most people stay a night here, deposit luggage and go for Halong Bay cruise and then come back again for a night. So leaving luggage becomes convenient. Good places for dinner were recommended by the staff and they were nice places. Their spa is quite decent and massage was good. Breakfast was also nice.

Nice hotel, the beds were really comfy compared to some of our other hotels. The breakfast was great and the staff was exceptional! Special shout out to frontdesk for all her help in booking our Ha Long Bay boat cruise. We even convinced someone on our boat cruise to change this hotel because the staff was just so friendly and accommodating. The location is excellent as well.

Great staff. They really go out of their way to look after their guests and booking tours was made easy through the front desk. Great breakfast on top floor and the best coffee in Vietnam. Very great with spa service in the hotel too. Best service ever!

Room was clean and comfortable. Wifi was fast and reliable. Location is superb in the Old Quarter with walking distance to most attractions. The roads surrounding Hoan Kiem lake were closed to traffic over the weekend and it was very pleasant to walk around. The staff was friendly and helpful. I even got a complimentary birthday cake delivered to my room on my birthday. Breakfast buffet had a decent variety of local food, considering the small size of the hotel.

The rooms where huge with a super sized extra comfy king bed. The staff where so helpful, polite and friendly we wanted to stay forever. Anything we wanted was arranged and the tours they recommended and organised where great. We really loved the markets and shopping which where just outside the door. Hotel's Spa was so comfort after long day trip. End to end service experience was top notch.

The hotel is beautiful, a real find in such a busy city and perfect location. Boutique decor, lovely furnishing, very comfortable beds, clean bathrooms and great breakfast.

The location is superb, near Hoankiem lake, Church and the old quarter but still peaceful, and the staff are lovely without exception - offered good advice on all sorts of things like restaurants and taxis, lots of little touches that make the hotel stand out. The spa treatment was so good.

The hotel was in an ideal location, very clean and very comfortable. Good selection of tv channels if you decided not to step out in the rain. They were upgraded our room to Suite room with best price. Beautiful city view from large balcony. Excellent choices for breakfast. Staff were always courteous, smiling, spoke good English and extremely helpful when assistance was needed. Reception was very informative and provided a map with suggestion on what to see and how to best spend the day as most attraction were within walking distance of the hotel. They organise our airport pick up and a day tour to Lan Ha Bay / Halong Bay that suited us and was the best day tour during our trip.
The hotel staff provided service that ensured all their guests had an wonderful and enjoyable stay at the hotel including providing courtesy umbrellas as it rained almost every day of our stay. Perfect Hotel!

Amazing Hotel. The staff are Brilliant and helpful. It was my birthday the next day after my stay and the hotel manager offered us free wine for no charge. They helped us with booking night trains Sapa and Halong Bay excursions. Possibly the best customer service we've ever received. They allowed us to leave our backpacks at the hotel after we checked out. They also arranged a free ride for us to the train station. Communication was clear and precise. Breakfast was great and delicous. Great location. Just 1' minutes to the church and hoan kiem lake . Highly recommend L'Heritage Diamond Hotel for anyone looking to stay in the Hanoi old quarter.

The hotel room was nice and clean for the price paid. The staff were friendly and helpful.
However, in other reviews people mentioned construction noise and I did not take it seriously. The construction noise is facross the street from L’Heritage. The street is not wide. The main problem is the construction is 24hrs. There is no noise pollution laws. The noise does not stop. Room 401 is directly across from the construction. No sleep to be had.

The room was of highest standard and staff was very friendly and helpful.
We got upgraded to a suite with a big balcony overlooking Hanoi streets and the Church
The location is great with just couple minutes walk to Old Quarter, the lake and the French Quarter.

The hotel is in a fantastic location, the rooms are spacious and very clean with an amazing bed. The best part about staying at this great hotel was the staff, they were so helpful to our every need and even exceeded our expectations when we never even asked for things. A special mention to front desk, she was absolutely amazing explaining to us all of the sights to see while we were in Hanoi and went out of her way for us every time she saw us in the lobby to check if we needed anything or simply to ask how our day was. I would have no hesitation recommending this Hotel, it’s fantastic and we can’t wait to return again in a few days to finish off our holiday.

The Hotel was in good condition and newly renovated. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The biggest issue was that the room was smaller than as shown in the picture and a building was being constructed right outside my window and construction activities (banging, drilling, concrete pumping) continued until 3:00am.

The breakfast was yummy, View and location were excellent situated in the old quarter, and the rooms were comfy enough. But the staff and the level of service were just more than we expected. They were just extremely friendly, helpful and assisted us in every way possible. From helping us with booking tours, transport, etc. They even took care of our Halong Bay cruise at a fantastic rate. Amazing location to explore Hanoi’s Old Quarter (Lake, Church, Restaurant,..), and overall great value. Comfortable bed and nice sheets and pillows. Good water pressure. Everyone was so friendly and helpful. I would go back to this hotel any time. The food for breakfast was amazing. We really enjoyed the Street Food Lunch also. Hotel is in a Excellent location in the old quarter. Staff were extremely helpful as we ran into some minor hiccups at the start of our trip. Rooms were nice and spacious. The free Wifi was strong. The breakfast was amazing with lots of fruits, salads, egg choices, sweets, etc. You shouldn't worry about anything staying at this hotel!
