I was disappointed to find out that this hotel was tucked away in an awkward location. I read that it was a 15 min walk from the leaning tower of Pisa but it is actually a 15/20 minute drive instead. There is a bus stop fairly close by that tou can walk to but this only runs once an hour. The rooms are very basic but this is expected for the price however they are clean and comfortable. The pool area was disappointing as it looks nicer in the pictures than actually there. Lots of flies in the area too. The restaurant was very nice, great food and the staff here were very helpful too and it was definitely good value for money in here.

The location of the hotel is extremely inconvenient. It’s in the middle of nowhere. We used 3 GPS units and we still couldn’t find it. We got lost every time we try to go to the hotel. We couldn’t stay late outside because it’s impossible to find when it’s dark.
The staff are impolite, rude, and not helpful.
The room was not clean. The floor was dusty and full with hair and ants. The sheets have small blood spots. There is no refrigerator.
When I left the room, I expected that they will change the sheets and clean the room. They didn’t do that, they just put new towels and made the bed leaving the same dirty sheets that we got when we get there.
I don’t recommend this hotel at all.

Room with a view ...

We only stayed for 1 night but it was very pleasant, we were happy to have a nice meal at their restaurant when we arrived later in the evening. The best part was waking up to see the views that we couldn’t see at night ... beautiful!

Nice hotel!

This is an amazing hotel, the breakfast is a buffet and it was really nice and fresh, the services they provide were good and there wasn't any trouble at all. The restaurant on the site serves nice food (bit overpriced) but no complains about the quality.
The location of the hotel is the only problem here. Theres nothing around it, me and couple of friends didn't have a car so we were walking to pisa everyday which is around 45mins walk some of it doesn't have pavement or lights (if you are walking DON'T forget Repellent for mosquitoes). The walks in the morning and afternoon were nice, but at night it was bit dangerous as there were no lights or pavement (the bus stops working at 7/8PM.) There's also Careffour and Pharmacy close to the hotel around 25/30mins walk on case you need to buy something.
If you have a car you should deffo book this hotel as it is amazing with free parking and in a quiet area. Away from the city, it felt really good for a city break, relaxing and they have a good Swimming pool. Unfortunately the table tennis was broken.
Theres a bus E03 just 5mins walk to the main road which takes you to LUCCA (a must go) and to pisa (4euros eaxh ticket if you buy at the bus) .
The hotel was nice and we will deffo go back again this time with a car even tho walking was fun in a group.

Reception staff Very welcoming, restaurant waiter rude and forgetful. Would recommend eating somewhere else.

Hotel on outskirts of Pisa and not easy to find in dark, public transport easily accessible.No public bar. Room was clean & tidy but basic.Pool was welcome and refreshing after a days sightseeing. Staff were pleasant, helpful and courteous even extending breakfast time after we overslept, chapeau.Bit of a trek into Pisa but the pool was a major attraction.

Great hotel in the quiet country side.

Loved this hotel in the quiet country side just outside of Pisa (5 min drive). If you rent a car and are travelling around Tuscany and the north of Italy. This is a great central location. About 2.5 hours by car from Rome, it is about 1.5 hour to Cinque Terre - which is absolutely gorgeous, although some of the driving to get this is breathtaking and treacherous. Also about 1 hour by super highway to Florence. As this hotel is really not expensive (compared to pricey Florence) we drove back and forth to Florence.

The staff were really wonderful. When we had an issue with our shower, they changed our room immediately. The rooms are spacious, clean and comfortable. The breakfast was very good. There is also a restaurant on the property which was very good - even overabundant on the servings.

Beautiful view of the mountains as well.

A Brilliant stay

We had a great time at Airone. The hotel was very child friendly. The staff made it highly memorable and a very comfortable stay for us. They were incredibly helpful. Very relaxed and in tune with our family needs. We met other amazing travellers at Airone. All this combined, made a perfect holiday for us.
The hotel is located in the country side amongst sunflowers and lots of open space. So a wonderful treat for us as we were travelling back from Singapore.
The restaurant food was absolutely delicious and I just loved the warmth of the chief. She was simply wonderful.
We will be returning to Airone in the future. in the meantime we wish them all the success.

Nice little hotel.

We spent 2 nights here in August, myself partner and 2 children.
Room was plenty bug enough with a nice sized bathroom. Parking facilities & swimming pool which the children took full advantage of.
Breakfast was very basic, we had a meal at the restaurant, unfortunately the staff there didn't speak a word of English and our italian was basic.
Hotel staff all great and very informative. The area was lovely and away from the hustle and bustle of a town centre, only a 5 minute drive into the centre of Pisa.
I would recommend this hotel to others and would visit again.

Blissfully Peaceful!

I booked this hotel for one night before flying back to Pisa the next morning. It only took minutes by taxi from Central Station. Was immediately struck by how peaceful it was when I arrived.
The gentleman on reception was very helpful, had excellent English & explained everything to me fully. I was travelling alone, so it would've been nice if there had been an offer to carry my case up to my room on the first floor.
My room was authentically furnished, spacious, clean, with a lovely little balcony with table & chairs off to the side. All I could hear was lots of birdsong, it was extremely relaxing after a busy day travelling by train from Umbria. My bathroom ran the length of the room, lots of space. Only criticism would be the shower had very low water pressure.
I spent the rest of the afternoon relaxing by the pool, which was lovely. Things were a little unkempt down there, it didn't unduly bother me, but for those that like a pristine pool area they might be unhappy! I did note an automatic pool cleaning machine in the pool the next morning though, and certainly the pool itself looked very clean.
I had dinner at the restaurant in the next building. There was only one waiter working, and most of the guests were dining when I arrived and the guy seemed a bit harassed. He was quite offhand, the White wine I ordered was quite warm, and when I ordered another glass, he seemed to think it was chilled enough! The food itself was nice, not outstanding, but it was good value, and it is handy if you don't want to go into town to eat.
I had a fabulous night sleep, extremely comfortable bed. Breakfast the next morning was quite basic, but fine for me as I didn't want a cooked breakfast.
I did think there was a shuttle bus to the airport, the listing for the hotel did mention this, but when I checked out the next morning, I was told I had to catch the bus from the bus stop a few hundred yards from the hotel on the main road. Again, this wasn't a problem for me, the bus service was frequent and inexpensive, but for those with a lot of luggage, or small children, it could be a bit more difficult.
All in all, a very pleasant, brief stay! It's somewhere I would definitely stay again, the peaceful surroundings are lovely, and it's only ten minutes from Pisa centre, and twenty minutes from the airport.

We booked this very last minute. It was relatively cheap and good for a pit stop. A few Mosquitos in the room (which you can't really do much about when your surrounded by fields) and the wifi didn't work in our room. It was clean and spacious but the shower curtain could do with replacing or cleaning.

What can I say! had a wonderful 8 days,Its a little bit out from Pisa but a very good bus service is just at the top of the road, the food in the hotel is great, Its inexpensive and very good value as it so good, Great wine and its local.The town of Lucca is only a short distance away.and sometimes the bus driver takes money , 5 or 6 euro for two people and sometimes he has no tickets left so it's free. lol....I will defnetitaly be back, Big mention to Rosario, Anderea and Marco the front office staff who could not do enough. we were there in oct 5th to the 13th.

Clean and functional rooms. Nice garden but with a bit lack of attention. Nice breakfast with good coffee. Wifi was very slow (read hardly working)!!! It´s a 10 minutes drive to Pisa and the hotel is rather difficult to find. Quiet countryside around. Restaurant was ok but nothing special.

We enjoyed our stay at the Airone Pisa Park Hotel. Location is in the country, not far from a sunflower field, but only a 5 min walk from bus route connecting Pisa to Lucca. The same bus also took us to Pisa train station and even the airport within about 25 minutes. It's a small hotel, ideal for couples and/or families with children of all ages. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Even though the hotel was full while we were there it did not feel busy at all, because the buildings are spread out within a large garden. There is a pear tree right next to the pool and olive trees next to the playpark. Very relaxed and peaceful! Nice atmosphere. The hotel has a couple of bikes which can be used free of charge. There is also a restaurant which serves authentic Tuscan dishes, including excellent fresh seafood. Breakfast staff went out of their way to make us feel welcome and was very attentive. I felt I was getting good value for money and would definitely recommend this hotel.

Ok but really needed own transport.

We stayed here for 4 nights after a stint in Florence. The hotel is a little tired but the family room was ok (double bed with bunks). It was on first floor with steps down to garden area - all ok except the last step is easy to miss (as all tiled in same red tiles) and I fell. taking skin off both knees and broke a toe. I did mention it at reception and although sorry no other action was taken. The staff were mostly friendly and the restaurant was ok. Had mixed experiences in there, food was alright but nothing special but owner was enthusiastic. The location is rural, only 3km out of Pisa, I did not think this would be a problem but buses only go about once an hour - easy to miss them - and you need to get tickets from tobacconist shop who didn't all have the tickets we needed. We never managed to get a timetable for the bus we needed, so ended up getting taxi a couple of times (about 15 - 17 euros.) instead of waiting 2 hours for next bus. I booked this because of the pool but next time I will book somewhere in Pisa itself.

Meet the needs

The hotel was a stop off point for a cycling holiday so though it was a bit out of town it was okay once we had bikes. Most staff were helpful. Night/early morning duty manager on 19th/20th May was not as good as the other two duty managers had been.

Brilliant Hotel & Restaurant

From arranging a transfer from the airport to the moment we left the staff couldn't have been finer, nothing was a problem and they were so friendly, they spoke English and even managed to understand our stab at Italian! Also the restaurant and the staff there once again couldn't be faulted and the food was so amazing we ate there 6 out of 7 nights ( and they even made macaroni cheese for me one night when I just wanted something comforting) the only thing we could pick at is the bed was a little hard for my husbands liking. All in all the staff helped give us the most amazing 2nd week of our honeymoon! We will return one day (hopefully I will speak more Italian by then!) - the rooms are basic but are amazing clean and feel like a completely true Tuscan experience.

Disappointed - pictures very flattering

Looked forward to this after seeing the pictures on the web but these pictures are VERY flattering, for instance the court yard that you see on the front of the hotel picture looks big but is only space for 1 car. Had a family room for 2 nights and ended up in a separate building next to the hotel - which was just space enough for 2 double beds, wardrobe and bathroom. We were really disappointed with this as it looked lovely - the room was basic and clean but drab and no outside space. It felt like we had just been shoved out the way. The breakfast was another 7 euro each and very basic pre-packed food - no effort - the coffee being the best. The pool looked big and lovely on the pictures but was in fact very small and needed attention. The sunbeds were so old and ingrained with dirt - apart from about 5 new ones - it was rather disgusting. The surrounding pool area is grass and space enough but not that nice. The pillows were about an inch thick and at first thought they had forgot to put them on the bed and also the towels were waffle towels and paper thin. We have been to other more luxurious places and had paid a lot less for a lot more in other places. Very disappointed.

Nice hotel difficult to find

The hotel was good with kind staff who helped over and beyond what they had to. With helping us put different adds into the sat nav to giving pinpoint directions of where to park. Only down side was the trickyness of finding it right when you know you have arrived(according to satnav)would not want to find it in the dark.

Relaxed charm in great spot

The room's were a bit basic but comfortable and kept very clean as were the pool and gardens. The hotel is in a great spot; being in a lovely country area yet only a few minutes from Pisa and a short drive (and yes you do really need a car to stay here) from Lucca.

Idyllic Location, Fantastic Hotel!

I loved this hotel and really enjoyed my stay. The location was perfect, completely set aside from the hustle and bustle in a very rural location yet so close to Pisa itself. The staff were great and the rooms were spacious clean and very comfortable.

Its a 10 minute, easy bus journey out of Pisa, but well worth it. The pool, grounds and room was lovely and staff really helpful. Would totally recommend it.

Nous avons été très bien accueillis par une hôtesse souriante et très agréable. Elle nous a accompagnés jusqu'à notre chambre qui était très propre et agréable. Nous avons pris un excellent repas à l'hôtel. La literie de bonne qualité nous a permis de passer une très bonne nuit. Petit bémol pour la douche qui était un peu rafistolée. Petit déjeuner impeccable avec du choix et un très bon accueil. Merci beaucoup à toutes l'équipe pour cette belle nuit à Pise 😊

Plus personne à la réception dès 22h00. On rentre le soir à 22h20 et on veut payer le séjour : impossible. On reporte au lendemain matin mais en vain car, malgré qu'il soit prévu ouvert dès 06h00 le matin, personne jusqu'à 06h30. On a du partir faute de rater l'avion. Que vont-ils retirer de la MasterCard? Quelle est le montant de la facture ? Surprise. Et ça, c'est anormal.

Bon hôtel pour un sejour calme

L'hôtel est bien, sans prétention mais propre, calme avec tout le confort necessaire. avec une piscine, un jardin, et ils pretent des velos pour visiter.

La fermeture de la route d'acces principal a l'hotel par la municipalité fait que c'est parfois un peu compliqué de s'y rendre et c'est pas mal isolé meme si le village n'est qu'à 5 minutes en voiture.

A quelques minutes en voiture des portes de Pise.

Durch die etwas umständliche Zufahrt liegt das Hotel nicht ganz so zentral, wie es aussieht. Die Zimmer sind zweckmäßig eingerichtet und relativ ruhig, abgesehen von der Klimaanlage und den in unserem Fall zeitgleich einquartieren Bauarbeitern, die früh am Morgen ihr Tagwerk begannen. Der Garten ist ganz schön, der Pool sehr gut und sauber. Bleibt noch das freundliche Personal. Das angegliederte Restaurant ist ein wenig zu teuer, aber es gibt genug Alternativen in der Nähe.

Excellent rapport qualité-prix (réservé début juin pour les 5-9 juillet 2018)
Petit hôtel bien confortable avec tout ce qu'il faut, sdb moderne complète, frigo, clim, ch spacieuse, petit déj bien fourni, belle piscine, service dévoué et agréable.
juste un peu perdu au bout d'une allée en graviers de 2,2km ! voiture indispensable, mais transport organisé sur mesure.
En fait, c'est plein tous les soirs !

Ottimo Hotel ma...

Hotel ottimo , personale cordiale e disponibile , la stanza era pulita e comoda ( cuscini a parte che erano inconsistenti ) , unica pecca la via d’accesso completamente su sterrato e poco accessibile che penalizza la valutazione complessiva che altrimenti sarebbe stata più che ottima.

Landlig beliggenhet med ro fra travle Pisa. Et stykke å gå til sentrum hvorpå et lite stykke var på trafiktert vei. Men har en leiebil er det ikke noe problem. Hygelig betjening og var fornøyd med oppholdet. Seksjonerte rom så en slipper å ha for mye kontakt med andre.

Mala información acerca de cómo llegar al Hôtel

En el sitio Expedia al momento de reservar aparece una dirección la cual es errónea ya qué hay trabajos de construcción en el camino y estas muy lejos de l’an emtrada del hotel, esta peligroso caminar con maletas y dejar el carro ahí. Una persona a la cual acudimos por ayuda nos llevo hasta el lugar.
Los dirigentes del hotel deberían poner un aviso antes de reservar con confirmar la estadía puesto que esta situación nos causó problemas.

Booked on one name, checked-in with another person = great flexibility.
Rooms are large and comfy (with a TV AND a refrigerator).
Restaurant included, at democratic prices.

Paghiamo la pensione al proprietario Dell hotel.

Esperienza negativa:siamo arrivati di sera. Abbiamo chiesto telefonicamente indicazioni perché per raggiungere l hotel era percorribile solo una strada non digitalizzata e abbiamo.perso un ora di tempo. Non ci sono state fatte delle scuse che ero dovute visti che dovevano avvertirci dei lavori in corso. Inoltre prima di partire nel. Pomeriggio avevo chiamato personalmente per avere una culla in camera per mia figlia. La culla non ci è stata offerta perché il proprietario del hotel non aveva voglia di cercarla e di metterci le lenzuola... troppa fatica. Infatti al telefono mi ha detto che le donne delle pulizie erano già andate via e che non sapeva se poteva darmi la culla. Sono imbarazzata per lui!! Peccato perché l hotel è molto carica e con piscina. E il prezzo era ottimo.

Le strade!!

Buona la struttura, ottimo e gentile il personale. Ma il comune di San Giuliano Terme non aiuta. Viabilità pessima rende difficoltoso l'arrivo all'hotel.

Agradable y confortable.

Estancia agradable y confortable en el campo de la Toscana rural.
El hotel esta muy bien por ser de 3 estrellas y con desayuno completo por la calificación del hotel.
Entorno rural y agradable y tranquilo.
La única pega el acceso al hotel, ya que es un camino por asfaltar y se precisa de gps por encontrarlo y llegar el primer dia.

Hotel with relaxing possibilities

A quiet hotel close to the city Pisa. However very difficult to reach at this moment because of a badly indicated detour. Make sure NOT to book an economyroom. The other rooms are comfortable . There is a nice swimmingpool however there are no matrasses for the chairs available. You have to use your own towel. Breakfasf is good. But during the day there is little more available than coffee ,softdrinks and ice cream. Staff is helpfull. the restaurant is good but only open from 19.30 till 22.00. You really need a car or a bike.

Ottimo albergo nell'entroterra Pisano, immerso nella quiete e privo di ogni disturbo. L'hotel dispone di una trentina di camere, la maggior parte delle quali con accesso indipendente, divise in 2 stabili; inoltre è presente una veranda per la colazione, un ristorante (aperto solo a cena), una piscina ad uso libero, un parcheggio sterrato ed un piccolo bar. Le stanze sono tutte abbastanza nuove ma arredate in stile rustico (in linea con lo stile simil agriturismo dell'albergo). In ogni stanza è presente aria condizionata, TV e bagno con doccia. Il personale dell'hotel è molto gentile e disponibile e il prezzo è abbastanza buono, noi abbiamo soggiornato dal 4 all'11 agosto e abbiamo speso 625€.

L'ingresso dell'hotel e,' stato spostato ma non ci hanno avvisati,e per raggiungerlo si devono percorrere 2 km di stradina stretta e sterrata,la stanza scarna e male arredata,oltretutto confinante con un vano tecnico rumorosissimo gia' dalle 5 del mattino.Prezzi non commisurati allo standard.Unica nota lieta il personale gentile e disponibile.
