We booked here (2 nights) and was told we would be able to use the rooftop bar to watch the 4th of July fireworks. We even called before booking to ensure the bar would be open and accessible and were told yes. 4th rolls around and we start seeing signage stating the rooftop bar was booked by a private party and no guests were welcome up there. We would have stayed somewhere else had we known this! The hotel staff were nice but the rooms were nasty! There were toenail clippings on the carpet, hair in the shower drain, furniture was sticky and literally falling apart, and the windows were disgusting!! Hyatt, do better. We won’t be returning to this location.
Gregory
Everything was lovely enjoyed myself. Great hotel visit.
Andrea
We stayed for just 1 night. Our room had a kitchenette, which we didn’t use. Quite a bit of space. Very clean and comfortable. The breakfast was wonderful!
Jay
I had a connecting room (I think there are a lot) and at 11:00, the folks next to me started talking very loudly. You could hear through the doors. I moved to a room that was quiet but the AC wasn't working properly. I have 2 things that are a must: 1) Quiet and 2) Cool. 'Nuff said!
Hilary
The hotel was clean and the view from the room was great with floor to ceiling windows. There is a lot of street construction in front of the hotel - the whole block actually, but when that’s done the view will be even better. We had a two bedroom suite, and had plenty of space for all 5 of us. There are lots of restaurants and shops in walking distance. It’s also walking distance from the Riverwalk. The Sacred Heart (former Catholic Church) is right behind the hotel and you can tour it for free, it’s beautiful and definitely worth walking over there. The breakfast options were good, the lobby had good vibes and a bar. We did not go to the rooftop bar, because we were only there for 1 night. I’m not sure if it was just this time of year but there were hardly any other people staying the same time we were so it was not crowded at all. It seemed to be slow like that everywhere we went in Augusta which was fine with me. Overall it’s worth the visit.
Tressa
David presented great customer service and very helpful.
Food layout and omelette station was very nice.
Would surely visit again.

Would surely visit again.
James
Other than completely surrounded by road construction. Loved the rooftop and the internal courtyard. Staff very kind. Security and elevator access annoying. Needed to be clearer upon check in. Otherwise recommend for Bell Auditorium convienently located nearby. Also church right across from Bell Auditorium offers closes parking $10.
Tiffany
The staff was very professional and cheerful.
Xun Dong
Good location and very good breakfast.
Aaron
Room was great, mini fridge didn’t seem to work (did not bother me) everything was clean, the staff were all very friendly and nice. Parking was easy and affordable. The gym seemed busy whenever I walked by haha, all in all very good experience.
Ashli
This hotel is old and in need of extensive renovation and repair. There were bugs in the bar soap box, mildew in shower, and hair on the sheets. The cabinet for the fridge was falling off the hinges, the beside lamps were old, rusted and broken. I checked in, saw the room, and asked for a new room, which they politely honored, but it was just the same situation. I did not feel comfortable there so I found another hotel and checked out. The staff were friendly and nice, but couldn’t refund my money due to the third party booking, so I lost my money. I did not even see one other guest there. Area outside hotel is under construction.

Amazing staff and the best breakfast I ever had at a hotel!

The room was great!! The room was was large and clean. The bed was very comfortable. The staff was extremely welcoming, helpful, and nice. Rooftop bar was nice.We will definitely stay here again!!
Andreas
Large spacious room with kitchen and living room space. Very friendly and helpful staff at reception and for breakfast service. Large, excellent diverse breakfast buffet, including things like salmon and the option to have a personal omelette ordered. Excellent central location at Broad Street, within walking distance to restaurants, pubs, and the Convention Center and River Walk. Free easy parking in front of the hotel in the parking zone along the center isle of Broad Street.
Salena
The rooms need some updating as well as carpet throughout. Our blackout shade did not work and the cabinet door covering fridge was broken and wouldn’t close
Carrie
Great place close to restaurants and nightlife
Stephanie
This is a great location for visiting Augusta. Right downtown. Plenty of bars/restaurants in walking distance. Starbucks and CVS are a 5 min. drive. Easy to get to any location around the CSRA.
Brenda
Rooms are sparse, other than shampoo and conditioner there were no toiletries so plan accordingly. Everyone who worked there was lovely but the space was a bit shabby and depressing and there was a bit of a musty odor in the hallway.
Hannah
Great amenity and nice rooms. Only thing was the walls are pretty thin, our we could hear almost everything our neighbors were saying and playing on the TV.
Jodie
Staff was very friendly and helpful!! The rooms just need some updates.
Wibari
Enjoyed our stay here.
Alonzo
Everything was great
Nathan
Rooms very clean and updated. Staff always very professional and polite.
Jeff
I'm a big fan of the Hyatt House concept! I especially like the gym with the Peleton bike and the rooftop bar and restaurant.
Hillary
The property is beautiful and clean! All of the staff were welcoming and friendly. The rooftop bar was magical!
Jamika
Staff was super nice no complaints at all.
Angelia
Friendly staff, fast check in and great delicious breakfast.
Chandra
Clean rooms. Nice rooftop bar. The omelettes for breakfast were very good.
krystal
Everything went very smooth.I was very impressed with the facility smelt clean in the rooms.I would stay again. The only thing that's hotel is missing is a pool. But the rooftop bar and view is amazing
Russell
I didn't like my first experience staying at a hotel with a rooftop bar and didn't have excess to it bomber

DANIEL
Nice clean hotel, rooftop bar was great. Secure parking deck
Joyce
Hotel offered onsite parking.
Mary
Overall ok. I really didn’t like being put in handicap room when we don’t have any disabilities. There were several weird spots in the room such as the sink faucet was installed too close to the mirror so it would not turn all the way on. The barn door wouldn’t stay closed or locked. It was also installed with horrible trimming looking like it was incomplete. For a newer building the caulking in the shower was either never there or worn out. But staff was nice.
Nyema
Will not stay there again
Chloe
Room was clean and comfortable. The main negative was the endless train whistle noises almost every hour throughout the night. Made it very difficult to get a good nights sleep.
Justin
Location was perfect for the vibes
Alexandro
All ok
Nicholas
I ordered a BLT from the kitchen while visiting the bar on the roof. When the food arrived, the bartender told me she was just made aware the cook had just told her that they were out of tomatoes. She said the cook had to throw them all away. Fine, I realize things happen. But, what struck me as odd is that rather than tell me at the time, they just brought me the BLT minus the T and said she discounted it. I would have rather the cook told her at the time the order was entered that he/she was out of tomatoes and prompt the bartender to come to my table and ask if I would like something else. Instead, since I was very hungry from my drive during the day, I ate it. I think there is a learning experience to be had here for the staff. Thanks! (PS: The bartender, the staff in the lobby, downstairs were all friendly). The room was clean, the lobby staff was great.
Hania
This hotel was AWEFUL! Definitely not worth the money we paid per night. It’s more like “motel” status. The room wasn’t clean. We didn’t even have toilet paper in the bathroom. The phone in the room didn’t work, so I had to use my cell to call the hotel in order to get a toilet paper roll. The mirror in the bathroom had something in black on it, creeped me out. And sleeping in a room next to the elevator was awful. The staff was rude when we first arrived about having to wait exactly until 3pm to check in. They were just sitting around downstairs on their phones. Construction outside the hotel was terrible. I probably should have booked the river front hotel instead.
Trequita
Great hotel
Duane
Very clean, friendly staff and nice roof top!!!
John
Nice maintained property in a good area with lots of shops and food choices however it should be noted that many of these shops were closed as the area is undergoing major road construction and it doesn't look like it will be finished any time soon. I would check with the hotel before booking a room and ask if the construction is done. As of April 2026 it is a long way off from being finished.
Dreyanna
I’m a frequent traveler to the Hyatt Augusta and every time I come I have a marvelous time. Staff is wonderful, shout out to David he made the first day of my trip so seamless. Rooms are always so clean, and spacious. I feel safe as a solo female traveling. Parking this time around was tricky because of the construction taking up parking spots outside. Other than that my trip was wonderful, and I will be back soon.
Frederick
Everything was good
JESSICA
Clean room, decent location, but kind of difficult to find the parking area.
kevin
The room was amazing. Staff was great. Will definitely room there again
Dion
Love the parking elevator access directly to the room, rooftop bar is underrated. Walking distant to shops and local eats. Room was perfect, bed was comfortable. Didn’t access as much as I wanted but this will be the only place I stay whenever I venture back to Augusta.
Bobby
They were short staffed in the kitchen and bar.I was told that they only had 1 cook in the kitchen and she had been there since 4AM. The bar tender went to the kitchen to help the which left the bar shorthanded.
Jocelyn
Great stay!
Jennifer
Clean room, great staff, kitchen was perfect, and everything was nice and neat. Definitely recommend
Brian
Staff was amazing however hours for the rooftop bar are not posted and doesn’t seem to open at standard times.

I love this property. The location is ideal. The rooms are perfection and the bed!!! Oh the bed is soooo comfy.
Lateashia
The kitchen was equipped with dinning ware and cookware. There was a few essential things to make a simple dish with burner eyes, mini fridge, and sink.
Darren
For the cost, (+ $800 for 2 nights) the cleanliness and overall room condition was subpar. The shower wasn't cleaned liked expected, the pendant light was extremely dusty. The general room repairs looked as if the were repaired by an inexperienced handyman.
We really expected a little more personalized experience from a Hyatt Property, especially for the cost. Realistically not worth it...

Well maintained clean in the heart of downtown Augusta short walk to everything. Great breakfast buffet with omelets to order even salmon and lox. Would recommend.

Staff was great! Very friendly and helpful.
Only thing that was not working was fan in bathroom but everything else was good. Very clean.

The hospitality of the front desk wasn’t really good. A different points the front desk person left the front and was in the front of the hotel smoking. overall, I didn’t like any of my experiences with the front desk.
Roger
Room was spacious and clean. Excellent staff
Evan

Sorry, but you really shouldn't stay here. The area is not good. The hotel is OK so that is unfortunate. There are much nicer areas quite close. I would go there instead.

The staff were so nice! They genuinely seemed to care if everything was going well for us. The bathroom was really nice and felt very fancy. The room was pretty quiet and couldn’t hear any noise from the hall or other rooms. I would stay there again for sure.
Victoria

Th room was spotless! The host and entire crew were super nice from check in to check out. The bartender Don will always be a favorite for me, very hospitable and well spoken. I will be a return guest.

Clean!!! Which is very important to me. Nicely appointed. Excellent staff in every area, but especially the breakfast staff, as they went above & beyond. Breakfast was delicious, hot and fresh with a great variety. I would definitely stay there again.

Stayed in on New Year’s Eve with my family, and it was GREAT!!! Room was clean and the staff were very friendly! Both bars were open (rooftop&lobby) so me and my wife were able to enjoy some cocktails on New Year’s Eve without worrying about driving!

Staff was very nice. My room had a wet smell to it but the bathroom was neat, clean & up to date.

The toilet was wobbly and the sink did not drain well. When I told them about it, they said maintenance would take a look. When I got back to my room that evening everything was still the same. Also, they took my took my room key when I checked out and I was unable to get to my car on the 2nd floor parking garage. I had to ask someone that worked there to help me get to the 2nd level parking garage. I never had to give up my key before. I also was told that they could not give me a receipt. I told them that I also had parking charges. She said the receipt would only show the parking charges. I have never had these issues when I have stayed here before. I always received a receipt when asked with all charges. Now I have a $30 incidental, $96.56 room and a $126.56 room charge on my card. I think next time I’m in Augusta, GA, I will stay somewhere else.

I would have given my stay all 5’s, but the Fire Alarm going off Very early in the morning(there was no Fire) took care of that!!!
Abigail
Exceptional and genuinely friendly team members!! We could not have asked for a better experience. This was our first time in Augusta, and the front desk team(David and others whose names we did not learn) gave us great recommendations on restaurants in town and amenities available at the hotel. The breakfast offered great variety. We would not hesitate to recommend this hotel in Augusta!

Staff was courteous and answered my calls promptly. During checkin they were personable and greeted me with a warm welcome. The location on the strip was convenient and had all we needed. The rooftop diner/bar is family friendly and the view was totally worth the price. The suites were decked out with a kitchenette, living room, island separate sleeping area and bathroom was to die for. Breakfast was better than we've ever had.
We're definitely coming back.
