Old property, my bathroom tub had a horrible stain. We were told by the staff it was as clean as it will get. We took wash up all stay. I guess you get what pay for .
Lindsy
Great location and great breakfast. Staff were all very nice and helpful despite being obviously short handed.
Noah
The surrounding too old.
Beatriz
100% recomendable!!!
Carl
the rooms were large and the floors clean, refrigerator was small but uesable.
Breakfast was usual items, it was good but I like bacon better than sausage
staff were friendly but it would have speeded up check in if two people
were working the desk. I didn't use pool, but it look clean (outside)
Parking was in a gated lot the fence needs some repain in places.

The hotel was clean and newly remodeled, and when an issue with the toilet flushing arose, it was fixed immediately. The staff was very helpful and provided a toiletry item when I left it at home. The bed was a little creaky, but very comfortable. I would absolutely stay here again.
Yaakov
Nice place
Carlos
Comfortable rooms but not a new property. The room was clean but lacked a carpets. Ammenities are decent. I had some small issues with my room and had some noise issues during one of the nights. Great breakfast and comfortable beds.
Oleksii
It is a good place to stay in Augusta. Very welcoming staff, nice breakfast, good location
Daniel
If you’re used to IHG properties, then this is fine however, I find their Wi-Fi difficult to access
Jake
Parking was great. Convenient location
Cynthia
Nice all around place to stay. Well worth the price and the breakfast bar was really good.
JERRY
Good location. Staff were friendly.
Yvette
Special Kudos to the breakfast staff. She was amazing, pleasant attitude, welcoming and kept everything fresh and clean.
Brittany
Everything good breakfast ok only one person at breakfast. Clean little noisy we were on top floor and rooms must not have sound proof at all could hear every little thing. That’s only complaint
Myra
Breakfast was Great!!
I only booked this hotel because they offered FULL Breakfast that included Bacon as shown in their description.
When we went to Breakfast, there was no bacon, just sausages, which I don't care for
After expressing my disappointment to the kitchen staff, Keisha, she went above and beyond and Cooked some bacon just for us,.
This really made my day 😋
Thanks Keisha!! You Rock 💘

The pool was closed the whole time I stayed there, and the elctric blinds didn’t work and I was changed the room
Deborah
Good size room, comfortable king bed. Choice of hot and cold breakfast’s plentiful. Easy to find in historic area.
Leighton
Food was fine.

Breakfast was fresh, AC good, staff was great but bathroom was not very clean, very noisy area of downtown with bar close by.
Brock
Check in was easy and the staff were very nice and helpful. Our room was spacious and clean. However, the air conditioner was much louder than normal and the bed had a terrible creaking sound when getting on or off the bed. This made it difficult to get a good nights sleep. Breakfast was good and there was plenty of space in the dining area. The area around the hotel is not the greatest as there is quite a bit of construction happening. Nearby are some good eateries as well as a river walk along the Savanna River.
Kim
This place was spotless. I’ve never seen a hotel cleaned so much. Bed was so comfortable and pillows were great. Breakfast was wonderful and plentiful. Ms Dee at check-in was a delight and the kind of person we should all strive to be. Next time in Augusta we will definitely be there.
Austin
Overall a good experience at a good hotel

Breakfast was great, lots of choices, room was very new and modern
Daniel
Breakfast was little behind , staff was working on it but not keeping up .
Maria
Professional and friendly staff. Be patient because there is a plethora of construction near the hotel. We loved the Riverfront event on Saturday.
Jacob
The breakfast was good, and the rooms were clean and cool.
Nancy
It was very close to a concert we were going to, walking distance. Close to a nice restaurant too, even though the area was very depressed. Looks like the city is revitalizing that area.

Room was very clean, the BR was also clean with enough room for all our toiletries. The shower was refreshing and the vent worked so no steamed up mirror. The breakfast had many offerings to a variety of tastes. The selection of teas was perfect, both with and without caffeine. Front desk staff were professional and attentive. The location was very near the Riverwalk and to Nort Augusta.
Robert
Nice and good breakfast
Tracy
Room was clean and delivered clerk very helpful.
Frank

Jennifer Karin
Great location! Easy access to everything. Comfy beds and Breakfast was great too.
Cindi
Hotel was clean, beds were great, breakfast staff was awesome and accommodating. Front desk staff don’t seem to work together or cohesive. Otherwise great hotel
Kimberly
The hotel itself was pretty clean. In our room there were spots from the previous guest that were not cleaned up and the thermostat in our room needed to be replaced, it literally fell off the wall. The breakfast was disappointing. Most of the business in a 3 block radius are abondoned.
ANNE
Everything was fine.
Melissa
This was a quick walk to the Bell Auditorium and the river walk. The property was clean and quiet and the staff was friendly.
Edward
They failed to recognize me as an IHG rewards member and didn't do anything to correct it when I mentioned it. But the staff did a very good job being courteous to the people having breakfast in the mornings and managed it well. So, one good thing and one bad thing equals an overall \"good\" review.
Lacey
The room was very clean. We loved the Dove soap that was provided, and the staff was very helpful and friendly.
Valerie
This hotel had the most comfortable bed that I've ever slept in. Very cute decor. The Location was a 15 minutes walk to Bell Auditorium where my concert was located. Also a close walk to the Riverwalk. I will definitely stay here again.
cari
Great experience

Staff members friendly and room very clean
Beth-Ann
The room was very clean & beds super comfy. But what really stood out was the friendly, helpful staff. They treated us like they were welcoming their best friends to their home.
Karen
Very courteous staff. Room was very clean, roomy, and comfortable. I will be staying there again
Laura
Breakfast was great both days and the service in the dining area was exceptional. Couldn’t ask for better southern hospitality!!!!
Wendy
We had a wonderful experience this weekend. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. Breakfast was very tasty and the gentleman working the bar was so nice and caring. The room and hotel was very clean. We will definitely stay here again when we are in the area.

All of the above. Plus a fair price as well.

Stay was good hotel not to noisy, breakfast lacked flavor and eggs were artificial. Staff was friendly and helpful
Althea
This place did not meet my expectations, I had issues with the first room, it was pet hair on the sofa and there's no light to really see so i used my light on my phone and i wasn't about to sit on that... It was NASTYYYY! So I explained it to the staff and they got me into another suite and it was just as bad, Me being me, checking the sheets and pulling covers back and the young lady she helped me pulled them back, she said she do the same thing and she understood, so come to find out the sheets wasn't clean it was hair and trash and spots on the sheets and hair in the tub.. NEVER EVER AGAIN! I CAN NOT RECOMMENDED THIS HOTEL. BUT THE STAFF WAS AMAZING... VERY PROFESSIONAL. AND THEY HANDLED THEIR BUSINESS AND ACCOMMODATED FOR MY STAY. WAS GOING TO STAY FOR 2 DAYS BUT NO THAT ONE WAS ENOUGH... TO THE SUPERVISOR OVER HOUSECLEANING, PULL THEM HOUSE CLEANERS TO THE SIDE AND LET THEM KNOW HOW UNACCEPTABLE NOT PULLING DIRTY SHEETS FROM THE BEDS.. IT'S NASTY! WHEN THEY DON'T DO THEIR JOB IT MAKES THE WHOLE BUSINESS LOOKS BAD...
that was just as bad as the first suite....

Breakfast made the stay! Very clean room, passed the white sock test.

If you're looking for a quiet stay in Augusta, this is not the place. Loud bar right down the street, open until 2am with booming music. Loud electrical noises all throughout the night. On top of the horrible night, had to fight with the shower in the morning for any ounce of hot water. Terrible stay, save yourself and stay somewhere else!
David
Staff was very nice and friendly. The happy hour was my best time spent. Javonne is very good at her job and friendly. It was a pleasure meeting her.
Elizabeth
3 stars for the room. It was clean and spacious and the staff was very kind during our stay. However, the breakfast was extremely dissapointing. We chose to stay at a Holiday Inn Express specifically for the breakfast, and this one didn't even have milk in the cooler for cereal. The only hot items were hard boiled eggs and sausage patties. No scrambled eggs, and no pancake batter for the automatic pancake maker (but the syrup and chocolate were plentiful). When another guest asked the woman who was setting out food \"Is this it?\" she replied with \"Well there's eggs and sausage.\" Every time I walked past the kitchen, the woman putting out food was sitting there on her phone and would occasionally come out to walk to the reception desk, then back to the kitchen. We were looking forward to so much more for us and our toddler!
Virgil
Excellent room, parking and staff.
Tiffany
Standard chain hotel with huge comfortable rooms and excellent front desk staff.

The staff was terrific. The fire alarm had issues during my stay, but the staff handled it well. They were on top of the problem and were extremely apologetic for the disturbance. I was greeted and acknowledged by each staff member I encountered, which made me feel safe as a solo female traveler. I will book again on my next trip.
Dominique
Room very spacious and the employees were very friendly
Michelle
Room was clean. Staff friendly.
Geo
The only issue I had was the drainage of the tub and sink
Lexus
Good overall, but rooms are very basic.
Maggie
The floors in the room were really dirty and turned the bottoms of our feet black and there wasn’t good water pressure in the shower. Other than that, it was alright.
Toneah
It was ok

Front desk staff was not very responsive. We were also given a room without black out blinds installed and the lights from the parking lot shining into the room. I booked a room almost a year in advance. And I think I was assigned one at the last minute. But close to transition and very convenient for Augusta 70.3. Clean… I guess to
Be expected from 3 star hotel. We just had a really bad check in experience and the lack of a black out blind just topped it off.

The inside was very clean. Outside needs some help. There was no trashcan in room, just tiny one in bathroom. Lighting is very dim in room and bathroom. No top for ice bucket. One bath towel smelled like body odor. Metal bed frame made horrible noise.
Michael
Breakfast was huge bummer they were out of everything but everything else was decent.
Nick
I arrive and staff was friendly. Checked me in right away. The room was clean. I stayed there for a total of five days. The first two days they did not clean the room I had to tell them after that, then everything was good.
Holly
The hotel was clean. Very friendly staff.
Chris
Great place to stay. They were doing some remodeling and we tracked Sheetrock into the room but other than that it was good
Brian
Family friendly, comfortable, breakfast was wonderful, checkin and checkout options very smooth, nice, upgraded accommodations, upgraded facilities all around. A+++ on everything!!
Cheri
Nice hotel
This hotel was clean, modern and up to date. However our king size bed seemed a little worn. When lying down, a person tended to roll into the middle of the bed. The outside patio area was clean and quiet. It was a great evening for us to sit outdoors.
Ronald
In general, the property itself is in very good condition. However, the inside of the elevators are quite dark. I suggest that either brighter wall coverings or lights be used in the future.

All of the employees nice and professional. The breakfast crew were extremely friendly and took care of all of our needs. This hotel is on the far end of Broad St, but never felt unsafe and was convenient to walk for events, dining, and shopping.
Keisha
Kim in food service did am outstanding job ensuring we were well tended to during the complimentary breakfast. Honestly she went way above and beyond and deserves a spot bonus and/or raise, as she is one of the main reasons we'll probably return. Ebony in guest service did a great job as well!
The hotel is in a pretty good location, convenient to AU and not too far from better shopping. The downtown Augusta area has many vacant storefronts, which is not ideal, but that's not the hotel's fault.

Ebony and Osha at the front desk are amazing, greetings with a sincere smile, friendly, professional and has exceptional hospitality. My stay along with my families was awesome. Also Haraoce during the hours of serving breakfast has a wonderful personality, full of joy and good laughter… He made our stay one to remember, all the food fresh and hot. Great sense of urgency. All the staff here deserve a raise increase because they go over and beyond to get the job done…. And a Job Well DONE at that!!!! I will recommend all my family and friends visiting to stay here, from my experience. Thank you to all the staff for all your hard work and efforts in making our stay comfortable and welcoming.
Enrique
Great hotel and kuddos to a great front desk team!
The room was clean and the AC was amazing. Especially just because the weather was in high 90's.
Front desk team is very courteous and professional. Check in was easy. I also liked that the parking is behind a gate for added security.
There is a club on the other side of the street but you couldn't hear it any of it from the room. Bed were very comfortable. I definitely recommend this hotel if you are there for a weekend.

I recently spent six nights at the Holiday Inn Express Augusta Downtown and would like to share both my positive experiences and one concern during my stay.
First and foremost, I want to extend my heartfelt thanks to Asha Kelly, who was the first person I encountered upon arrival. She went above and beyond to make me feel welcome and supported during a time when I needed some extra assistance. Her kindness, professionalism, and genuine care made a lasting impression on me, and I will never forget her exceptional service.
I also want to commend the transportation staff member (whose name I unfortunately didn’t catch) who was always friendly, helpful, and very knowledgeable. His attitude made getting around easier and more enjoyable.
My only issue during the stay involved a housekeeping interaction between June 5th and 6th. I had requested a replacement for a malfunctioning shower soap dispenser. The replacement was eventually delivered, but rather than being installed with the other two existing dispensers, it was simply placed on the shower shelf. I tried to communicate (by handing the bottle to the staff member) that I would like it mounted properly like the others, but unfortunately, that request didn’t seem to be understood or acted upon. The staff member chose not to speak to me at all and only motioned what her intentions were. In fact, she placed the bottle right back where she had put it originally and walked out of the room without further communication.

Fine hotel, clean and good shower. Super thin walls though…had constant noise going on throughout the hotel through the night and didn’t get any sleep. Also awoke to what sounded like someone KICKING A BARREL DRUM OR WATER HEATER DOWN THE HALLWAY. It was so loud that’s the only way I could describe it, which in theory wouldn’t make sense. I’ve never been so startled in my life at a hotel…AND THEN TO HAVE IT HAPPEN TWICE?!
Also, the air conditioning unit in the room was incredibly loud if you turned the room down past 73…IN JUNE. I awoke in a nice pool of sweat to the thunderous booms and was about ready to just call it a night and drive two hours back to Atlanta.
The staff overall was very nice however and I enjoyed my stay in the city. The hotel…well, another story.
