Don't Expect 5 Star Hotel Treatment

We originally chose this hotel due to very high ratings online but were not entirely satisfied or impressed by this hotel at all. I had seen a couple of complaint reviews online due to issues with the rooms being overly hot (due to AC system being shut down for the winter months) but dismissed them as we were traveling in November, which is colder in Konya. The first room given to us was extremely hot and felt as if we were staying in a sauna. We couldn't relax or sleep at all. After a couple of conversations with the front desk, we were moved to another room of the same type on the opposite side of the building, which felt much better. This hotel shuts down the individual controls to the AC during the off season which does not allow one to adjust the temperature to personal liking. For a 5 star hotel, it is lacking in personal attention to details. When we first arrived, no one came out to help us with our bags until we unloaded everything on our own and were walking into the reception area. The receptionist was kind but neglected to give small details such as time of breakfast and wifi information - standard details that should be given when checking in. We had to ask for the information ourselves. Overall, it's an OK hotel but felt more like a 3-star hotel than 5 Star experience.

Beautiful boutique hotel not too far from all the main attractions, staff was very helpful. Would love to stay there again. We booked a suite which was well deigned and had a massive living area and 2 bathrooms. Breakfast had a vast choice of food you could imagine.

The room given to us was terrible. Not properly organised for four adults family. We have to upgrade and pay extra. Breakfast ok . Restaurant food very good . Will recommend to stay but for five star hotel they should have staff 24 hrs with good English.

The entire staff was very friendly. The room was very clean and modern. The hotel’s restaurant was absolutely clean and had delicious food.
The front reception was always ready to answer my questions and find a resolution. This hotel has a great spa, swimming pool, and gym area that is absolutely clean and safe for everyone. Gafer is in charge of greeting guests at the front desk and he is an amazing person! He helped me with lots of things during my stay at the hotel, and he was always ready to go out of his way to help and to make sure we were satisfied. He is the guy you can count on! I highly recommend this hotel and I will go back to this hotel when I go back to Konya!
I can only say to the entire staff: Thank you! You made us feel like we were in our home!

Stayed at this hotel two separate times in a weeks period. First time was great, no complaints.

Second time. Doorman was very nice and good at his job. Employees in general very nice and friendly. Modern/new hotel, clean, spacious and easy to get around.

Complaint. Arrived around 2030 hours. Drapes on room are drawn shut and very dark to try and find key card holder to turn on lights. Air conditioning not working. First attempt maintenance person said it was working. I wait an hour and the room is still hot, so he comes again and drains water out of the system and cleans a part. He uses a temp gun to check the temp. It drops to 23 C. But later goes back to 26 C. Uncomfortable, but deal with it. Safe is in the locked position and have to get someone to come reset it from the last person who stayed. All this late at night when I want to rest. In the morning at 0730 hours, no water on the 7th floor. Told it is a technical problem and they are trying to fix it. So no shower or toilet working. Don’t have time to wait, so my father and I leave for our trip.

Very disappointed in our stay.

As with most Turks, the lady at the check in counter was not smiley. But what got me disgusted with the hotel were: the box of tissues in the room only had 3 pieces of tissues left! The toilet roll was three quarters used. This shows that the hotel does not care about the comfort of their guests! Finally, the toilet bowl cover was broken! Although the hotel was fairly new, and close to a mall (which usually would be good attributes), I did not enjoy my stay.

Location is odd, stand-alone building. Staff’s English language skills are acutely limited regrettably, especially that of concierge. Additionally they didn’t know anything about Sema ceremony that occurs every Thursday at Mevlana’s gardens. Kept telling us there was none. Finally on insistence called back later to confirm but gave us wrong time.

Top class hotel, easy choice

A true 5 star hotel, everything felt 5star from the room to the spa facilities - which were one of my favourite - the pool jacuzzi and steam rooms were immaculate, spacious and a very comfortable atmosphere. The pool table was great to unwind with a good game. Location was perfect for getting around Konya with a tram stop right outside, taxis even closer, and all sorts of shops within walking distance. Overall a fantastic 3 night stay and would highly recommend

Nice huge hotel but far from all the action

It’s a nice and huge hotel with nice, spacious rooms and bathrooms. The free hammam, sauna, gym and big indoor pool are nice too. There’s also option of getting massages for a fee.

Only negative is that the area, while posh and mostly silent, is far from all the actions and attractions of the beautiful city. Also most employees including reception are not very fluent in English, probably because Konya is not exactly a tourist destination.

Overall the hotel is nice with very helpful and nicely behaved employees but I’d prefer a hotel closer to the city center.

A very enjoyable stay in this modern, well-designed hotel. Remarkable value at a special rate for the large Junior double room. Only disappointment, until it was sorted out, was the offered breakfast which was basic Turkish style. However, we requested various Western dishes which they provided for us. Some distance from the city centre but not really a problem.

The hotel truly is fantastic with all the bells and whistles. The only negative was the air conditioning. I had to call 5 times about the A/C and was told somebody was on their way but never showed. So I ordered room and handsomely tipped them and requested that they do something about the A/C and once again nothing happened. It was so hot and couldn't stay in the room. At approx 12 am A/C automatically and miraculously the A/C came on and finally was able to comfortable sleep. This is horrible for a 5 star hotel.

After we checked in and went to our room, we waited about 40 minutes for our luggage to arrive. Then I called reception, and 10 min. later our luggage arrived. The a/c was not working . The employee who brought the luggage said \"wait for 1/2 hour\". But it never came on and the room temp was 26*C . We went to the restaurant for dinner with another couple. We ordered soup , salads, and pizza. Nothing arrived for more than 1/2 hour. I asked the maitre di about our dinner. In 5-10 minutes later our dinner arrived. But one of the salads was wrong, and the pizza that came soon after was NOT the one I had ordered. There was more delay waiting for the correct order. Soon after I spoke with the maître di a server came to the table with a bowl of buns, but no plates. They never arrived. Your staff will get a failing mark. The next morning when I checked out I paid for the dinner for the 4 of us(about 95 tl). When my friend was checking out he was charged for the same dinner that I had paid for 10 minutes earlier. My wife returned to reception to make it very clear that we had paid that bill. There was nothing else owing. The room was fine. The service was NOT fine . Would I return?.....I do not know.

Easy parking, tram just 50m away.

Great location for Resturant's, shopping and gernerally going for a walk.
The breakfast is exceptional , especially the made to order omlets!
While this is a brand new Hotel it is finished off very well.
