Obsession to gain extra money from the guests

Staff barged into the room while I was washing to check whether any soft drinks had been taken from the mini bar.
The staff would not lower the loud music until midnight and it started again at the beginning of breakfast. The sound came into the rooms. The room doors banged, it was difficult to stay asleep.
The worst part was seeing the breakfast food being recycled from guests to guests! The food was old and tired by the time it was served to me. There was a separate exorbitant charge for a coffee or omlette

The bes sheets had a couple of blood stains on them. The floor had some dirty spots, and the floor under the bed was dirty. Some surfaces were dusty.

It is very close to Mevlana museum. The staff were friendly and helpful. Easy parking and accessibility to many great food places and historical attractions.

The rooms were much smaller than the pictures show-it is old and worn down. Breakfast was poor quality, so after our first day, we went to local restaurants for breakfast.

The room has a very nice decoration but it is lacking in the cleaning department... The bathroom had water stains all over and the vacuuming or sweeping was not on point. Mostly it is not noticeable but since I had to move the bed to retrieve something I dropped I noticed there is barely any cleaning done under the bed and behind the tables... They are all very easy to move so it was very disappointing. However the breakfast was amazing, maybe not as varied as one would hope but everything is fresh and the people who are in charge of the breakfast are very attentive, I am not the kind of person who is inclined to tip but they definitely earned it. It is not the most comfortable room because it has a very large armoire which I believe most of us could do without. All in all it was a good stay.

Absolutely horrible experience. Booked this hotel based on previous reviews and it’s location. Upon arrival and check in we were immediately told that our reservation was a mistake! As we were 2 guys who booked a king size bed they did not agree that we should be sharing a bed and insisted we booked the wrong room. It became very awkward and worrisome as we are a gay couple in a very conservative Muslim city. Upon refusing to take the other option (2 twin beds) the check in people began speaking in Turkish and it was obvious they were disgusted with us. Once we cleared that obstacle and made it to the room, we were horrified to see that the drain in the shower had a huge clog of hair. Also in the shower there were tons of hair stuck to the walls of the shower. Not wanting to bring this to their attention in fear of the hotel putting us in a 2 twin room, I had no choice. We were giving another room that was much smaller and cheaper than the rate I paid.
* breakfast buffet was delicious and parking is free.

The hotel was located close to the Mevlana, the shops, good restaurants, and other sightseeing places within walking distance. The breakfast service and food was excellent.
The hotel was clean and pleasant. The deluxe room was a bit overpriced as it was the same as the other room but had an extra hallway which was really wasted space.
The cleaning staff was very helpful in trying to unclog the shower drain but did not succeed and then it was Sunday when almost all workers were on holiday. Inshallah it will be fixed for the next guest.
Overall the stay was very pleasant.

I was quite graciously welcomed by Tuba (who helped with my luggage and beamed her discrete beauty at me) and Merve at the front desk who was kind, professional and helpful. No English is spoken here but that did not stop them from taking care of everything I needed quite nicely. It's a lovely boutique hotel with an excellent breakfast and is just a few minute's walk from the fabulous Tomb of Rumi (museum). Right in the heart of Konya, I would highly recommend this wonderful hotel.

Absolutely amazing stay. The hotel is a modern hotel with all amenities with a very unique decor actually very welcoming. All the staff are super service and customer focused. Doganhan who greeted us at the reception was outstanding. He gave us a site map of all the attractions in the area and recommended where to eat because we arrived late in the evening. Chef Mustafa and Ayse were outstanding. The breakfast is absolutely delicious with much variety including omelettes and hard boiled eggs and fruits along with your standard breakfast fare. You won’t regret your stay at this hotel. I will stay there again if I am ever in Konya again

I booked a standard room for one night and then extend it for one more night. The hotel is so close to Mevlana's tomb and Mevlana museum. Shams Tabrizi's tomb is just half a mile far from the hotel (walking distance). We had great breakfast and the chef was so kind. He prepared omelet for us, in addition you can have a buffet breakfast, tea, coffee, herbal tea, fruit juice, fresh fruit, eggs, fresh vegetables, tahini, cheese, sausage, French fries, and....
There is a (walking distance) wonderful restaurant “Mevlevi Sofresi Restaurant” close to the hotel and Mevlana Turbesi. The restaurant staff are very friendly and have wonderful food. Nice environment with the view of Mevlana tomb /turbesi. There is Sama dance program at Mevlana museum on every Saturday at 7:00 pm. There is 30 Turkish Lira entrance fee for the Sama dance program. In general, we had great time there. Based on my experience, 2-3 days vacation in Konya is perfect and you can see all historical places.

I have no choice but to give Bablin Butik Otel a HIGHLY RECOMMENDED rating.
Staff are fenomenal.
Room quality / decoration is nicely done with quality finishings (not just cheap stuff you find in many similar hotels).
On the minus side, breakfast is not the best I've had compared to other places and rooms are small-ish. BUT, really to complain about.
If you go to Konya, Bablin Butik Otel is very solid place to stay.

I liked it because it was nice, and clean everywhere. Maybe because my room was Premium but it was kinda luxury. I liked staff also. The best thing is its very close to Mevlane and Tabrrezi, you can see from brrakfast terasse. Its walking distance. I will stay here again when I come. One problem was with Wi-Fi, it was slow and it effected on my laptop work.

What a gem of a find! Incredibly professional, courteous and knowledgeable staff. I can't commend them enough - Mr Ramazan who helped us navigate Konya and welcomed us with his genuinely friendly, attentive manner and excellent English, to the chef Mr Mustafa and Ms Ayse at breakfast and the kind Ms Meera who made sure our rooms were spotless and well-stocked. While the decor reflects a grand, luxurious style, every detail is of the highest quality with modern specifications. From the T.V to the bathroom - all top specifications! This is a stunningly beautiful hotel. The owner has done a very good job. The hotel has a luxurious feel and tucked away in a quiet area, yet still very central.

The doors are carved wood, thick velvet cushions and fabulous gold trim in bathroom.

The hotel is brand new and so everything feels clean and fresh.

The breakfast was delicious with excellent service and great views.

I really could not fault the hotel.

I did have a small issue which the owner has dealt with quickly.

The staff were really helpful.

First of all, if you want to stay around Mevlana Bablin will be the best choice. The location is pretty good, the room is very well furnitured. And the staff is very helpful. Lastly, the breakfast buffet is fully sufficient and tasteful. An other time i come to Konya, no doubt i will stay there again.

The staff at this hotel bent over backwards to accommodate me. I felt at home and welcome the whole time. Ahmet, the owner, is the most generous person! The hotel is located in the most perfect spot: it is a really close to the Rumi museum, the restaurants are great, a nearby hammam is second to none, and the shopping is superb.

Not sure where to start. I have traveled the world and this is the most hospitable hotel of all. Every staff member has gone above and beyond to make my stay comfortable and advise me about places to go, etc...
To top it off, the location is perfect for me. A two minute walk to the great 13th century poet and philosopher Rumi’s burial place and museum. The old Bazaar is another minute’s walk.
The breakfast spread is quite generous.
What else can I say! Teshekuret :-o)
