The reception area is beautifully decorated and gives a very nice first impression. However, the room was quite small, even though we booked a larger one, not the economy size. Unfortunately, the rooms have a strong smell of cigarettes, which was very disappointing. Although there are “No Smoking” signs in the room, the cigarette odor is very noticeable.
On the positive side, the location is excellent just a short walk from the Mevlana Turbesi.The owner and staff are kind and helpful, and the breakfast is decent.
However, because of the unpleasant smell and the overall disappointment with the room, I definitely would not choose this hotel again.

Cons Very expensive for such a small room. It was in fact the smallest room I have ever stayed it and the bathroom was so tiny . From one side of the bed to the other side the walking corridor was very very narrow. Great place for small people, Id reconsider if you were of average European height

Araf Hotel is in the heart of Konya's Mevlana district with many convinient walkable access to shopping, dining and attraction options. The hotel vibe is very Bohemian in a good way. The suite rooms are on the small side and traffic/parking is challenging. The room and hallway carpets could use a refresh. Breakfast is included. Overall a good hotel that meets the needs of a short stay in Konya while providing an interesting vibe and convinient location.

Just overnight but was a very enjoyable short stay with very friendly staff and a good breakfast also able to see Dervish Concert in Konya Museum which is only 3 minutes walk from centrally located hotel.This is our kind of boutique hotel excellent decor and furnishings with very comfortable rooms and walking distance to city centre and shops.

This small boutique hotel is just a few mins walking distance to Melvana center the main attraction of Konya. They have a nice decor in their rwception area. Overall had a good experience. The hotel wifi usually doesnot work in your room and you have to sit in the reception area to use it.

One in my group got Guidance to the straight path. Excellent host and you will meet lots of nice people here as well as the staff. One in my group got guidance. i would suggest doing 2 units of prayer in the mosque. Perhaps you will get guidance from God too

This is what a boutique hotel should be. Our room was very small but comfortable. I saw the other rooms and they were bigger and more like conventional hotel rooms. But none of that mattered because when we walked in we were greeted by Ms. Nastaran and her smile and demeanor was essential to our enjoyment. The Food was fantastic. The decorations were unique and beautifully done. Location was within walking distance of several museums, shopping centers and very good restaurants (we recommend eating in the hotel). Parking was on an affiliate lot which was safe and conveniently less than a minute walk. Highly recommend this place.

We booked the Araf hotel for two nights. When we arrived there for check-in, the receptionist told us that there was some issue with the water supply at the hotel and offered us to stay in another nearby hotel (Think Hotel) in a similar room setting. Since it was evening and was difficult to refuse the offer at that time.

The receptionist took us to that hotel, Think Hotel, (just 2-3 minutes walk from the Araf hotel) and helped in check in. Surprising, the reception and the location of that Think Hotel were better than that of the Araf hotel. Rooms and toilet were clean with all amenities. Breakfast was typical Turkish and good. Hotel staff was very friendly and supportive.

I recommend you to consider Think Hotel for your future stay if you are traveling to Konya.

The most beautiful and eclectic boutique hotel, meer footsteps away from the Mevlana Museum.
Our room was comfortable and so stunning. The decor, the finishes in the bathroo, the furniture... its all so beautiful. The staff and owner are so friendly, accommodating and hospitable.
The breakfast was better than other turkish hotels I've been in, simple, yet so tastefully presented.

We booked Araf Hotel, but the room was under renovation so they asked us to stay at Think Hotel instead (very close to Araf and I believe under same management).

Think Hotel is new, our room was nice and clean as well. Good service and communication from Hotel contact was quick to accommodate us. Great location and walkable distance to many of Konya's attractions.

Just a couple of minor issues: AC in our room was not working properly and it was hot, so we did not get a good sleep. Hotel was unable to provide us with a kettle upon request.

Overall good stay, I would stay here again.

This property was at a great location (right next to Rumi) and was very warm and welcoming. It's small and cozy, well worth the price. As someone who's been travelling all over Turkey, this hotel was one of the more pleasant stays. My only critique would be that the breakfast is very light (traditional Turkish breakfast minus the eggs). Staff was wonderful.

What an amazing little hotel, welcoming from the moment you step through their doors into the unusual interior. Everything you see from pictures to rugs or cushions is for sale.
Amazing breakfast with best cheese omelette I ever ate, lovely staff who sorted out our travel requirements, nothing was too much trouble.
Loved this hotel and would definitely stay here again. Room a bit compact but small price to pay to experience staying here.

We loved everything about Araf hotel. The colorful and vintage decor of the hotel adds charm to the super hospitality we received. The hotel staff Hassan and Fayeza greeted us with so much warmth and care. Fayeza made a great breakfast with generous amount for every guest and Hassan was on his feet attending to everyone's requests. All other staff whose names we do not remember were also very kind. We found a deep sense of peace surrounding the hotel atmosphere. Needless to say that if we revisit Konya, we will look for no other hotel to reside other than this magical Araf hotel, full of grace, warmth and charm.

We had an amazing experience in araf hotel. We reached konya and because everything was closed due to covid we were in a really bad mood. But then we went for check in and at first we couldn't fine the hotel but when we found and entered it, there was an amazing woody sweet infused air inside and extremely cozy ambiance in contrast to gloomy and cold outside. The receptionist was very helpful. We asked for twin room and but due to all twin rooms being occupied they actually offered us two separate rooms. The rooms themselves were a treat with heated tiles and every corner well thought out. The breakfast next day was amazing too. All the articles in reception/dining area were for sale and the whole place looked really taken care of. I would suggest going to konya just to stay a night at this hotel. Very very instagramable

A beautiful boutique hotel with lots of wander and quirks. Walking distance to everything Mevlana related. The service was exceptional, the staff was lovely and the owner was present a lot of the time. We were travelling with our 2 young children, and we are all vegan, which is a bit tricky in Konya, however, the owner of the hotel had his chef create exceptional vegan food for us and made us feel at home. We had a really special time in Konya and will definitely stay at Araf again when we go back.

This \"concept hotel\" specializes in handicrafts, and is full of them. It is only three years old, after a complete remodeling of a private house, and has a charmingly informal atmosphere. My room was compact, but contained everything needed for my stay. I thoroughly enjoyed meeting Omer, the owner, and found the staff pleasant and helpful, and the breakfast was a visual and gustatory delight! There is a cafe/restaurant at the 4th floor, rooftop level. Highly recommended!

We stayed in Konya for two nights. The hotel was in great location with friendly staffs. Our departure flight was early morning. Mohammed, one of the staff, helped us to book the taxi and also gave us a package as take away breakfast. They helped us with good advise. Hotel has a small coffee shop on roof and beautiful decorations all over.

This is like a boutique hotel so don’t expect spacious rooms.

We recently stayed in the family room and really enjoyed our stay here. There are two rooms. One with a double bed and LCD tv and another room for our two boys who took the bunk beds. The rooms have been very thoughtfully decorated and the hotel lobby and breakfast area is very picturesque, you will be taking photos im sure! The location was excellent if your looking to visit Mevlana Rumi's Museum being just a minute away. We walked into the city center but there was a tram you could take which stopped outside the museum.

And we are grateful to Mohammed at the front desk who treated us very kindly when we arrived and was a great source of information during our stay. Very polite and professional. As was all the staff there.

The staff is so nice and the hotel is very comfortable. Breakfast is good and nice location. The only problem was they had a power outage when I was there so from 0:30 at night to 9:30 am there was no power or lights in my room. Also internet/ac didn't work for several hours. The next day power went out again for another hour. It's a really nice boutique hotel, so they just need to fix this.

Lovely old building with balconied interior just off the shopping area by the old harbour. Nice breakfast room with harbour view on top floor, and a terrace further down. There is a good sea swimming beach (paid) on the far side of the harbour past several fish restaurants. The Araf hotel rooms are spacious but certainly not luxurious. It is a busy hotel but the receptionist (a lady) in particular was extremely helpful. A good place to stay for a couple of nights on arrival or departure.

Araf hotel is a magical place full of art works and crafts for sale. The design is quirky but just brilliant. You feel like your staying in a little gallery and the spaces are really well decorated. The roof top terrace cafe is well used by guests and locals and breakfast downstairs is delightful. You are within a hundred metres of the main historical sites, markets, bazaar and eating. The staff were sensationally kind and interested in your welfare and needs. Highly recommend this hotel and thanks to the staff member who farewelled us like a family member and instisted we take a small gift of water and some Rumi quotes for good luck on our travels. Touching and not contrived.

The hotel is right at the city center very close to all historical places in Konya. Fantastic breakfast at the hotel and although the room is cozy it is still decent. Bathroom is quite small and that is my only gripe with this hotel. Hotel staff is quite friendly and happy to help you guide you during your visit. Visit the cafe at the terrace of the hotel as well.

We stayed for 1 night and since we arrived the staff made us feel very welcome and they were very helpful with information about the area and facilities of the hotel. While we were checking in, they offered us coffee, water and tea and they checked us in very quick. The room was absolutely beautiful and clean. The hotel seems very new and is so stylish, I loved it. Every corner of that place smells so good. The breakfast was huge and traditional from Turkey. Unbelievable how good the breakfast was. I highly recommend this place for your stay.

The Araf is a beautiful, intimate place to stay. The staff were wonderful and the manager, Murat was really helpful in recommending places to eat out, visit, etc. His recommendations were excellent. He also arranged a balloon flight for our friend, which she was thrilled with.
The rooms were spacious and very comfortable. It’s right in the heart of Göreme - perfect!

Amazing stay!

I cannot write enough positive things about this hotel. From the location being right next to the Mevlana to how we were graciously greeted and treated not like guests but like family. My husband and I really enjoyed every single interaction with the hotel members including the owner who will share lots of lovely and inspiring stories. Dont look anywhere else! Book this place ASAP, you will not regret it!

Her şey harikaydı. Otel personeli inanılmaz kibardı, bize çok yardımcı oldular. Odalar tertemizdi, kahvaltısı çok iyiydi. Konya'ya her geldiğimde burada kalacağım.

Konakladığımız mekan görseldeki gibi değildi otopark yoktu kahvaltı zayıftı ayrıca ıtel girişinde garip bir koku vardı çalışanlar ilgiliydi özellikle kahvaltı servisi yapan bayan çok nazik ve ilgiliydi.bir daha gitmem

Hotel molto \"vintage\", stanze molto piccole e non particolarmente curate. Situato in centro città, la via di accesso è stretta, non vi è lo spazio per fermarsi di fronte all'hotel. Parcheggio auto scomodo

L’accueil y est sympathique. La décoration de l’entrée est vraiment travaillée, l’hôtel a une identité (qui se perd un peu dans les chambres, dommage)

La chambre est vraiment petite. Il est impossible de circuler les valises ouvertes.

L’emplacement de l’hôtel est idéal. Si vous avez une voiture il y a un parking dédié mais attention il n’est pas si simple à trouver.

Le petit déjeuner y est super !!
