Very nice, building was lovely. Sky bar staff weren’t great, couple just kept flirting with each other and when the robot turned up with food they didn’t even notice and it left again with the food, so by the time we got it l, it was cold.

The location fronts the river. The rooms were comfortable with great views of the river. The roof bar was relaxing. The staff was friendly. Breakfast buffet was great. To reach other parts of Porto requires strenuous uphill walks.

The rooftop bar in particular offers a fine view of Porto day or night and never too crowded.
One suggestion: dim the lights in the ground floor restaurant during diner service. You don't really get a good view of the river because the lighting is reflected in the large windows

The shower pan is not angled properly, so the water does not drain. Instead, the water runs into the bathroom. This problem is probably why the room smells odd.

Total disrespect and a health issue and hazard cleaning and vacuuing while customers there, after complain the supervisor or so told me \"breakfast is over\" like by the clock we were not welcoming anymore. Really lack of experience on customer service.

Loved the hand written welcome note in my room with the pastels. Nice touch. The view from 204 was amazing. The bed was REALLY REALLY firm. The shower had some drainage issues because the floor wasn’t angled properly for the water to run down so you had to push it to the drain. This was not fun for 2 days. Ubers were easy to get And really cheap here. They stick to the check in time so I went to explore until then. I would stay again but I would ask about a softer mattress.

We were thrilled with our stay at Neya. We were there 2 nights and appreciated that they had parking for guests (20Euros/night) but they also allowed us to park our car there before check in. Check in was fast and every staff we met were so friendly and accommodating. We were grateful for the river view superior room upgrade which was a lovely to wake up to. The room was immaculate especially the bathroom which is so important for us. And the hotel was in a great location we never moved the car! We walked 15-20 minutes into city center or took the bus which was 3 minutes away.

When 1st arrived I did not like the 1st room very gloomy no view (they call it garden view but it wasn’t pleasant) . I appreciated that the hotel was green and trying to make our earth a better place to live. Staying there made me feel like I was contributing to the effort. The only complaint I would have is how difficult it was to turn the air conditioner on and that the charging stations for electronics were not working or charged very slowly. However none of that deterred me from having a good time. The views were wonderful.

We went here for our honeymoon. We picked the location because of the river views and the onsite spa. When we checked in, the receptionist also promoted the spa services. On our last night at the hotel, we tried to reserve a massage, and we were told the spa staff member was on vacation for the next 10 days. I don't understand why this was promoted as a service if it was unavailable. We asked the staff member if they had any other recommendations, and they responded that any of the spas in the area were good, which was not helpful. They also advertised a bar discount in the elevator, but the bar staff was confused about it, and the front desk said they didn't have that promotion, so I'm not sure why they kept it displayed in the elevator. Most of the hotel was clean, but when we walked through the atrium to the spa/meeting room side, there were hoards of flies all around the entrance, which was unappealing. We loved Porto and plan to return, but we will stay at another hotel.

We stayed at the Neya Porto for a 4 night break. The hotel is located on the banks of the river and has good bus & tram links into the centre. We had a suite overlooking the Douro which was delightful. The room was spacious, well appointed and clean. The breakfast was top class with range of options. We spent each evening on the Ultimo rooftop terrace for drinks and views of the city. Memorable.

Stay here if you want something away from the main touristy part of the riverfront. It's still walkable to everything, though. Great service from every staff member I encountered. Dinner in the restaurant was excellent. A modern, elegant twist on Portuguese specialties. I like that there were several places to sit and relax after a long day of walking. There is a rooftop bar, the main lobby, and also a quiet courtyard. I am a solo traveller and I found this hotel to be very welcoming and comfortable!

When we arrived the hotel the first day, a girl called Joyna behind front desk helped us move luggages into our room. We thanked her and she replied:\" It's my job.\" The second day we went out and my wife (77) fell on the stairs. A gentleman behind the front-desk helped my wife to stand up and asked her if she need some ice. When we left for airport, this Gentleman helped us put luggage in the taxi.

A Good Spot In PORTO
I had a very comfortable stay. Getting into the bath for a shower was quite risky as there is quite a large spread across tub and surround, not so bad getting in but stepping out could be an issue if your foot still in the bath was to slip. Overall I was happy with the stay, room was very quite.

Beautiful and close to the city centre but a close by club plays music 24 /7 and you hear this even with headphones on. And they don’t have proper shampoo and no conditioner in the showers just soap. Clearly not a hotel for women.

This property claims to be a spa hotel. But they don't even offer robes or slippers in the room. They guilt you to not get your room cleaned. The spa is also closed two days out of the week but fail to inform you that. We also couldn't access the rooftop for dinner during our short stay because there was a staff party. Again, no mention of that or warning that it won't be available during our stay. We booked this for the spa and gorgeous rooftop but didn't get to use either one of those things. Staff were not helpful about this.
The walk is also 15 mins just to the town but if you want to go see anything else you'll be walking up and down hills a lot. Or paying for taxis/uber a lot during your trip. You are better off staying in the heart of the town! There are lots of nicer spa hotels!

The other great part was the location of it made the hotel very quiet at night. Quick and easy uphill walk to all the restaurants and shops which is exactly what we were looking for. We stayed here the day before we had to leave Portugal and we needed a place with parking for our rental car. Check in went smoothly, the parking garage was clean, safe and secure. The location was walking distance to the Ribeira. And our River View room was the perfect way to end our Portugal trip!!! Opening the window doors and just sitting out watching the boats on the river was a highlight! Staff was all great and the hotel was gorgeous!

We really enjoyed our stay at the NEYA hotel. I would highly recommend anyone considering it. It is a long the Duoro river with no obstructions in the stunning view. Very relaxing environment. The breakfast was delicious and always a bonus to have included in the price.
