Everything was fine but it says 4 stars but doesn’t have amenities for it. No tissue box, no slippers, no toothbrush etc. we stayed for 2 nights there wasn’t housekeeping. Else it’s nice property, accessible by bus and train.

I recently stayed at Hotel Davinci and unfortunately had a very disappointing experience.

The room conditions were unacceptable. The rooms were dirty, there was mold in the bathroom, and the air conditioning was not working properly. On top of that, the hotel was extremely noisy at night, making it impossible to get any rest. I even tried changing rooms, but the situation did not improve and I still could not sleep.

What made the experience even more frustrating was the lack of support afterward. I contacted Expedia to request a partial credit because the room price had dropped to less than half of what I originally paid in advance. After reaching out to customer service, I was simply told they were sorry and that nothing could be done. There was no attempt to offer any solution—not even a room upgrade or a small goodwill gesture.

Overall, this was a very frustrating experience and not what I expected. I would not recommend staying here.

If you want to stay close to Milan avoid staying here you will lose precious time. Hotel is Ok I don’t know how is a 4 start hotel is next to another hotel that’s abandoned and looks like a sketchy area but it’s not.

If your looking for an honest unbiased review this is it
Pros:
-Cheaper booking price
-front desk employees do their best to fix your issues
-Upgrade our beds from double (which is more like a single) to a real double
-about 15 minutes walk from comasina metro station
- bar staff are very nice
-shower water pressure is good
- front desk speaks english
Cons:
-Hotel surroundings are very old and a lot of the buildings look abandoned/ burnt
-safety is completely compromised (will expand on this later)
-hotel lobby has absolutely no amenities
-Rooms lack any sort of coffee or tea no glass ware no cutlery very basic plastic cups and two water bottles provided in a room fridge that doesn’t really work
-Tv in room is very small
-very noisy occupants
-washroom only includes a tiny bar of soap and 2 in one shampoo and body wash
-tourist tax is 10€ daily per person which is much more then usual
-some whole floors and room smell of pure cigarettes
-ac is non functional and is about 50 years old
-very low quality breakfast offered at very premium 25€
Overall this isn’t a 4 star hotel by any means even a 3 star is pushing it don’t come here and expect any sort of luxury this hotel gives you the bare minimum to survive. now back to the safety before we came me and my sister had looked at reviews indicating possibility of theft therefore we decided to keep as many valuables with us during the day as possible on the third and final day House keeping entered our rooms

I was unimpressed by this hotel. Not sure how it qualifies as 4-star hotel; I would give it 3 at best. (It is comparable to a Days Inn in the US). I loved how big my room was, but it felt like furniture was missing. I ate in the lounge one night and the food was okay and it was convenient, but I found better meals at a better value within walking distance nearby. I think my expectations were higher based on what I saw online, but overall, it was a nice place to stay while I was in Milan.

It was not a good experience. There was a lot black mold around the bathtub and there were corners in the bathroom that were not properly cleaned.
The rooms are also not soundproof so my friend and I could hear a couple ‘doing the deed’. It was uncomfortable.
The only good thing I will say is that the staff at the reception were helpful.

The staff were lovely on arrival, we did have to pay £12 a night for parking which we didn't see till arriving. Our first room was horrendous- unclean, broken cupboards, flies flying out of the toilet. Nothing like the pictures. Spoke to front desk, they were so nice and moved us to a nicer better room. 100% better. Hotel itself feels like it needs a lot of repairs, things feel a bit sad. Staff made it better 10x. Hotel outside is grey even though there is photos of it being purple which shows it's very old photos used.

Not a bad place to stay, a little way out from everything. As for the staff, not so friendly or helpful.
The breakfast dining room manager needs to be mindful of where and when to talk to staff about anything.
The Airconditioning system wasn’t working and the young lady at the front desk wasn’t very helpful.

Unfortunately a big difference from the last time we stayed (2 years ago) the rooms are looking tired with wear and tear and mismatch furniture. Previously was able to make a hot beverage in the lobby area but now you can only get hot water. The pillows, towels etc are expected to be good quality for an enjoyable stay experience but unfortunately these were lacking too. Just needs attention to detail. Location is good near the local subway. Not the 4⭐️it says unfortunately

Average Hotel Needs Maintenance

The rooms need major renovation and Maintainance. The doors were making squeaky noises and hard to open. The rooms had a bad smell as well. From outside and the lobby it was good but rooms need major maintenance. The location is bit far from major attractions and the front desk are always busy so they need more people definitely. No one picks up the phone from front desk .

I don't know how this hotel got rated 4 stars, but that needs to be updated. We stayed at other hotels in Florence and Venice that were rated 4 stars that were rated appropriately and this hotel was nothing like them. The carpet in the hallways leading to the room had been vacuumed, but only directly down the center. The buildup of dust and dirt along the edges of the wall was gross. The room itself had a distinct musty odor and half the surfaces in the room were peeling away - the wallpaper, the flooring, the molding, the edges of the mirror. The beds were like sitting on a hard piece of cardboard. The location is also not convenient as advertised. The \"train station\" that is is located near is not a metro and the train doesn't take you anywhere that you would like to go (as a tourist). There is a bus stop nearby though. I can only think the reviews from guests who agreed with the 4 star rating must have never stayed in an actual 4 star hotel before. It was so bad we took the loss of the money on the rooms because it was nonrefundable and left to go to another hotel. The staff offered to give us another room, which was appreciated, but the buildup of dirt in the hallway convinced us it wasn't the specific room that was the problem.

The hotel matched the photos exactly. Everything was in order and met our expectations. The room was spacious and impeccably clean. There is a beautiful large yard, perfect for relaxing in the evenings.

The only issue we encountered was in the bathroom. The shower area had an unpleasant odor, likely due to a loose tile under the shower. Water had accumulated beneath it, and stepping on it occasionally caused dirty water to surface.

Despite this minor inconvenience, our overall experience was very positive. Given the high standard of the rest of our stay, I still believe the hotel deserves a 5-star rating

Old hotel, run down, bad location (but this is my fault for not checking), AC in the room doesn’t work and when front desk answered the proposed solution was to send a fan to the room! Not change room or try and fix AC which means they are aware of it. And fan was not sent for hour and half so I called again and no answer so I went down and got it.

It’s not at all what’s pictured. It looks like they used Ai generated photos because this is definitely not a 4star hotel. I think they renovated an old 4 star but this is more a 2 star. The entire hotel is painted black with cheap paint. It needs an updating.
I reserved 2 twins ended up with a king. My son and I were so exhausted we just felt with it. The beds are extremely uncomfortable you can feel the springs. The best thing I can saw is the bathroom. The bathroom size was great and the water pressure was amazing. Taking a hot shower after checking in a midnight made all the bad of the hotel seem okay. Also we placed the do not disturb sign and both days the house keeper entered our room. We didn’t even attempt to eat in the overpriced cafe.

The hotel restaurant is hands down the worst in terms of food I’ve tried in Italy! That was not Italian food - I had to order out after that disappointment. They clearly tried to resurface the building by slapping on new paint over. The balcony was shared, we didn’t expect that (not advertised). Only good thing was we get to step onto the balcony because we picked the room.

Rubbish service. This hotel doesn’t even have fans available when the AC’s don’t work durning the “cold season”. It was 20 degrees. We had a baby and had multiple rooms booked for our family, all the rooms were literally baking that the baby could not handle. We requested a fan but they can’t even fulfil a simple request like that.

Got food on our first day, asked to warm it up in a microwave, they said we don’t have a microwave and it’s the “law” that they cannot allow us to heat food. These people were acting like we’re born yesterday. What type of law is there that you cannot heat up food in a microwave in a hotel?

They have like only 2 outlets/ sockets per room which also doesn’t help. Also in awkward places

Definitely not a good place to stay if you have a child. As they do not even help to make your stay a little convenient.

Nothing to see around the hotel either, better off spending a little more and staying closer to the centre

The rooms were beautiful and the hotel was near a train stations. But there is no shops nearby so no where to get things like drinks except the bar which is pretty expensive. I think it was like £4 for a small can of coke. The only place to get food except the restaurant (which opened at 7) is the mcdonald's which while not far is kinda annoying to get to

Where to start? The property is inconveniently far away from the city center. Is kind of hard to move around if you don't understand the transportation system. At the restaurant the food is bad and the drinks at the bar are bad also. Definitely not recommend staying at this hotel.

I’ve stayed at this hotel before so I thought I’d stay there again as I was familiar with the transport however this time we didn’t have a good experience. Staff and lovely and the hotel rooms are amazing but every day at 7am there was little children running up and down the corridor. Maybe it was just the 2nd floor but it was horrible waking up at 6.45am every day to children when you go away to relax. On our last visit we stayed on the 9th floor and we had no noise complaints at all but this visit was not as nice as we expected

They were very helpful with regards to any extra amenities we needed, and were also available at all hours of the day.
Cons: Room service wasn’t working in the entire hotel.

Served its purpose. We wanted somewhere to stay while we visited Milan and it served its purpose although the hotel definitely doesn’t look like the pictures in reality. It’s very empty - not much to do and very basic. It’s literally in the middle of nowhere. It’s fairly close to the train station but we used the metro to get around and it’s a good 20 minute walk from the metro station. The stop to get to this hotel is the last one so it really isn’t close to anything in Milan so if we were to go again I’d definitely choose a more central hotel. Drinks in the bar were extortionate - 18€ each for a gin & tonic. 16€ pp for breakfast if you book the night before, we didn’t try the breakfast as we ate out every day (McDonald’s do 1€ croissants & 1.20€ coffee!). There is a small restaurant for dinner but again we ate out or ordered Deliveroo to the hotel so didn’t try the food. The rooms are a good size, we took our baby and were provided with a cot. Floors were very dirty which wasn’t nice but overall it had everything we needed.

I stayed here 7 years ago several times. The rooms haven’t aged well, and the area felt unsafe. Security guards didn’t seem to do much but bother you if you took to long to load your suitcases in your car. Staff struggled to locate my reservations initially. Restaurant and breakfast is crazy expensive. Area seems post apocalyptic.

Hotel is in a bit of an inconvenient area outside of the city. It was a 15 min walk to closest train/metro. You do just have to watch what times they close for the evening.
