Room 21 - Mr Nardella Stayed 1 week. No issue with the property or staff all great. Pool/ Spa fantastic.
However - Was refused service twice by the Greek Restaurant on two seperate nights even though they had 2 single tables available telling me they were too busy to serve me. Terrible attitude from the owners wife. Nasty person. Being a Master Builder up from Melbourne inspecting a property for a client I’m used to Lamb on Chapel a Melbourne institution. I ended up eating next door twice at Foxys and highly recommend food and service. Stay away from the Greek Restaurant. Although they advertised a free bottle of wine to all guests staying at this hotel - they wouldn’t even seat me. Terrible service and attitude towards a solo traveler. Unfortunately I Would not stay at this Hotel again due to this experience. I am a builder in Melbourne who flys all over Australia staying in hotels hired to inspect property’s for potential purchasers. Terrible experience at this Greek restaurant- # never again.

I thought that the concrete steps leading down to the garage were dangerous when wet - possibly leading to someone slipping and damaging themselves.....

I loved the whole thing but stairs a problem with my husband who has parkinsons….staff were so accommodating and put us in a first floor apartment which helped but needs to be put into website (Ithink)

We had a fantastic staay, due to lockdown the keys were delivered in a way that required no contact in an envelope with a lovely letter, the room was beautiful and the complex was in an ideal position.
Would highly recommend the lovely spot staffed by lovely people!

Great location, staff was friendly!! Arrived after midnight easy to locate apartment keys with clear instruction. However When we arrived all balcony doors were open and apartment was filled with smoke from lower balconies which wasn’t pleasant and was difficult to sleep.
Found the fact you had to pay for toilet paper a bit odd....

We loved the location just steps away from the beach and local shops and heaps of Eating choices. The shops were also user friendly and very reasonably priced. Lots of Markets nearby and tourist attractions were also within a half an hour.
The double bed in the second bedroom could do with a new mattress as is a bit dippy in the middle.

Great location with cafes & restaurants downstairs and around the corner. Management was good communicating entry instructions by email and SMS in advance, as we were arriving after check-in window of 2-4pm. For $180/night the shower needs resealing to get rid of mould.Was a 3-storey walk-up from basement carpark, with no lift, don't recall seeing that anywhere when booking online.Stairs were dangerous when going down (had to walk sideways due to shallow treads) When I reported a missing hairdryer I was told hairdryers are stolen, it was in the compendium to ask for one at reception .... isn't that why they take credit card details? Certainly that's why I reported it, for fear of being charged, after reading notices in the apartment advising we'd be charged for broken/damaged items (fair enough). But we'd also be charged for not putting out garbage, and not washing and putting away dishes ... REALLY?

Lovely, affordable apartment

Checkin was quick, and very pleasant. We were given a lovely 2 bedroom apartment as we were staying 5 nights, even though our stay included a long weekend. Close to many various and fabulous restaurants and cafes. Discount vouchers helped save a few dollars, and 3 of the 4 restaurants in the complex offer a 10% discount!
A very enjoyable stay, thank you!

Rooms are big and dining area has lots of space:). Kitchen with everything plus wash machine. Laundry with washer and dryer. Cleaning in the shower wasn't good :( . Area outside is good but simple/ old and small .
For us it was good because our focus was the rooms. People around are so nice and lovely :) Thanks

Rooms average, overpriced for what they are. Aircon not working, notified management and I was told they had been serviced recently so should be working, had 3 night stay with no aircon, advertised free wifi but had none, again was notified by management that the issue was not theirs and nothing they could do, nothing offered for the inconvenience,
Plenty of other hotels in the area to choose from

Nice.

I like it that’s it’s very near to the beach, the shops and the restaurants. Its clean and we love the spa. The only thing is there is no elevator. We had pram so have to carry it up and down the stairs whenever we stroll. The floor in the shower is a bit slippery so it won’t be good for senior or any one prone to fall. But over all it’s a nice hotel. We have a good stay.

Nice hotel, good location

Everything was good with the apartment no problems. They only big issue for us was they advertised having free wifi which made us stay there. Upon arrival there was internet, this caused quite a disruption for us all. We had moved from the uk and were in the middle of buying a house and enrolling children into school. The internet was vital to us for our two week stay until house was ready to move into.

Hotel was booked at last minute and room was very comfortable and fitted out nicely. A little dated but clean and roomy. As we checked in on a Saturday our check in communication was delivered by text all very clear and professional. Would have been nice to have some staff on site to get beach towels and other information from. Overall happy with accomodation, very conveniently located close walk to beach, restaurants and shops. A lovely spot.

Location was good but room not up to par

Dissapointing, on arrival staff had to be called to clean the room. Sand and dirt on the ocuch. Cutlery in the drawers and pots dirty.

The fumes from the restaurant in the evening would filter into the room. This could have just been the room we were allocated as we paid for a Standard. No view for this room category.

I was not very impressed being moved to the block of apartments next to the resort. I booked thee resort and would have liked to have stayed there. The pool was not very appealing the room was old. The door knob fell off. It said toiletries all we got was soap. 1 aircon for a 3 bedroom apartment. Say no more.

Unit recently refurbished. The bathroom was most impressive. Handy to surf club. Unit located on top floor with no lift. Staff were very helpful but it still stressed out my dodgy knee. Some warning of this limitation would be useful. Patio door locks corroded and difficult to open.

Fridge did not work properly and kept turning off at night time- making food get hot.

Not suitable for guests with Mobility issues.

We were booked into a spacious 1 bedroom unit with a large open living area. Close to the beach and many shops and eating establishments. However, there were 45 steps to negotiate from the car park to our unit. Not easy if you are older and have mobility issues.

Spacious, clean, close to everything you need

Spacious, clean rooms, close to shops and the beach, friendly management, secure onsite parking. Perfect for a weekend away. You can pretty much park your car and walk to the beach and places to eat. There's a sauna, hot tub, pool and games room as part of the complex.

We had to go up a few flights of stairs to get to our room - I didn't see any lift facilities so you may want to check that if stairs are a problem or you have lots of luggage.

The carpark is quite low, so you may want to check height for larger vehicles - there is no way our ute would've fit so we are lucky we brought the sedan.

Highly recommend the day spa next door :-)

This hotel was very close to the beach which made it easy with the children. Heated pool was lovely. The apartment room could have used a deep clean though, it was a little grubby when you really looked. The beds were lovely and clean. The windows in the lounge were dirty and didn't have any fly screens and we spent the first night with no air con as management didn't work on a Sunday (apparently the batteries in the remote had been swapped out for flat ones by previous clients) this just added to overall disappointment when you only stay 2 nights.

Unhappy with the cleanliness of the kitchen utensils, had to wash everything before I could use as many items still had food on them. Lounge suite fake leather peeling off, not very nice to have stuck to you

The location, underground secure parking, cleanliness of room, TV access to austar movies were excellent.
Management Staff, too, were excellent 1) The sign for the Motel lit up our room. Owners MUST add blockout blinds to prevent this. Two small windows in kitchen area had no blinds and room just lit up at night. 2) Air conditioner too small for room size, and no air conditioner at all in bedroom or bathroom. As no air conditioner in bathroom, had to leave bedroom door open so the light, from the motel sign, also lit up the bedroom. Room humidity and light no good when trying to sleep. Try having a shower in high humidity and no air-con in bathroom. Also, cannot open windows for air as no insect screens on any windows.

Ask about lift facilities

We are in our mid 60's. Found 61 steps a little daunting with luggage from Car park to Room 22. We were not informed of lack of lifts. Rooms were tidy enough. Did not appreciate the starter pack of one toilet roll, 1 towel each, one sachet dishwasher, which could be hired from reception at $1-2 each for replacement, & fresh sheets every eight days.! Chippies and sand in the middle of the lounge chairs and two hard as pillows meant i used the couch pillows each night.My husband took great delight adding to the chippies to see if it was picked up on. Thank you to the previous guests
Who left the clothes powder. Coolum Resort higher standards of cleaning and facilities please

We stayed here for 4 nights . Welcomed by sandy who kindly had the room ready as soon as we arrived which was at 10am ! Good kitchen facilities aircon and fans . Pool is pretty smalll however nice bonus of a sauna room. Restaurants close by and cafes galore . No noise . Beach is about 50 metres away . Only suggestion is perhaps a hair dryer for use . Full laundry in kitchen as well was great !

Stayed here many times before - love it!
Really close to the beach, shops, restaurants and easy access to anything you want to do in the area.
The onsite managers are fabulous and friendly.
The apartments are spacious and have everything you need. Book an Ocean View room - it's worth it!
The pool and spa are perfect - even the sun lounges are clean and comfortable!!
Can't wait til our next stay.

Nice little getaway

We had a nice stay however for the price and being a 2 bedroom townhouse at a 4star resort we expected an ensuite off the main bedroom as well as air con would have been nice also :/
We have stayed plenty of places where those things are standard as is having a decent sized bottle of shampoo/conditioner etc....the balcony was extremely tiny with a view of the neighbours feral yard. Expensive wifi.

Nice hotel close to the beach

Large hotel room with living area and well equipped kitchen - was great to have a balcony as well.
Although our room was close to the pool it was not too noisy.
There was a great BBQ area, and discounts at surrounding restaurants.
The beach and coffee shops are 50 metres away.
Would definitely stay here again!
