This is 50:50 my poor research / the place. The room was perfectly nice in itself - very modern and well fitted out. The location was awful - one balcony overlooked a busy road and a petrol station - the other faced across a footpath directly to another unit. There was nowhere nice to sit outside at all. We're lucky enough to be able to do this - so we left without staying and found somewhere else. If you are booking - be really careful about which room you get - we were in building one. Have to also mention that we didn't complain or raise this with reception - as we also didn't like Coolum Beach itself as a town (not the fault of the actual accommodation provider).

I have stayed there a couple of times before. Friendly staff clean. Across the road from the beach .shops and restaurants underneath. Had dinner at the Coolum hotel last night. The food was really good. All in all good stay. I did notice the bathrooms and kitchen are looking a little tied though. But all still works.

Great location and family friendly accommodation

We stayed in a 2 bedroom apartment (rm 1208) and was very comfortable for a family of 4. This accomodation is within walking distance to beach, shops, supermarket, restaurants. The pool was fantastic and very relaxing.
Upon checkin there was a couple of issues with attention to detail to the cleanliness of the apartment but these were very promptly resolved by management. Management is very accommodating and went out of their way to ensure we were comfortable.
I don’t know if it was the location of our room, with out fail every evening at random times there would be an intense burning smell that would fill the room and some nights it would last all night. We couldn’t leave the windows open at night as the apartment would have an unbearable smoke smell. We couldn’t put on the AC as it tended to also bring the smell in. We put up with it but was difficult for those family members that suffer asthma.
Overall, a comfortable family accomodation.

Enjoyed my stay at Element on Coolum! Very clean, comfortable and spacious. Easy check-in and check-out process - staff is friendly. The location is across the street from Coolum Beach with plenty of options to eat, shop, etc. The grocery store, Cole’s, is right around the corner.

The kitchen was stocked with all the utensils and appliances you’d likely need. Washer and Dryer is available in the unit (although the they are quite loud).

The property felt safe with gated parking and secure entry - accessed by key fob. Beautiful landscaping as well.

After traveling for some time this was the most I felt like home, and I loved it! I’d definitely stay here again.

We had a wonderful stay at Element on Coolum. The manager Susannah was lovely and made us feel very welcome with an informative and relaxed check in. The grounds of the complex are so well kept with a beautiful tropical feel and the heated pool was a bonus during this cooler month. Our boys loved floating on the pool beanbags. We stayed in a 2 bedroom unit and it was very spacious and immaculately clean. The coastal styling was very tasteful and the kitchen was well equipped with anything you may need during your stay. We cannot wait to come back and stay again!

We have stayed at Elements many times for work and holidays. Lizzie is wonderful at Reception and any issues are always addressed. Always very clean in the rooms and outside. The pool and surrounds are immaculate. Always feel at home here and we walk to everything. No need for the car . Wonderful for families and safe.

Modern and spacious. We had a sub-penthouse. Our view was the caravan park and a nice big brown rooftop of the shops below us. With the sliding door to the deck open it sounded like a highway, and smelled like a McDonald’s fryer thanks to the McDonald’s next door, so sitting out there wasn’t pleasant. The main bedroom has weights in the blinds which bang against the glass all night. Lounge has outdoor furniture.

I have stayed at Elements on Coolum many times previously. This time the 3BR Apartment we were in was in need of an upgrade. Rips in chairs, TV needs upgrading (plus also a TV in the main Bedrooms would be a bonus). Everything in this Apartment just felt cheap! I have not had that feeling from other apartments so overall was disappointing. Hopefully the new Management will start to put better amenities in the Apartments overall. I have also noted that many apartments here now have owner-occupiers.

Spacious well equiped apartment - only minor grumble was the usual bug bear of blunt ‘sharp’ knives, wonky tin opener etc. Apartments are well located for beach and local shops, supermarket drestaurants etc, well maintained pool area and a nice touch is they have some discounts with a couple of the businesses under the apartments. The downside of the location is the apartments face onto the main road through column and there are lots of ‘vroom Vroom’ cars/bikes etc in Qld! We had a sea view which meant we were on the front and the view definitely wasn’t wow enough to counter the noise of the traffic which disturbed sleep for a couple of us. Don’t think it helped that we were right by the roundabout with McDonalds. There were a couple of things that felt a ‘bit mean’ given the costs/marketing (ie luxury) of the property - such as severely restrcited daily Wifi allowance with v hefty fee for daily top up and $4 for a beach towel. So overall this felt somwhere between a 3 and a 4 star stay.

Payed $170 per night for a room with an ocean view and room service.
Got a view of a petrol station and a caravan park And there is no room service.
Also they charge you money if you don't do the dishes & empty all bins yourself.
Not enough toilet paper, 1 bin bag.
Reception tried to gowge us for bin bags and extra toilet paper when we needed more.
Was cheaper to buy next door @ service station so we did.
For $170 per night I expected alot more.
Wont be staying there again.

Easy Family Apartment Holiday

The two bedroom two bathroom apartment was so spacious, clean and had everything for a short break or long stay. The separation of the master bedroom from the second bedroom was a nice surprise and two balconies was unique (unfortunately one of them had a view of the petrol station, but next time we would request a room on the other side).

It is an extremely quiet complex, even though it is is the main street of Coolum. We literally parked our car (2 car spaces in security undercover) and walked everywhere - the beach, shops, cafes, restaurants, surf club, park. We also loved the book of discount vouchers - thank you!

Our kids think the pool was the best part - large with pool toys so that even in busy times, there was room for everyone. And comfortable, new pool furniture for us adults to laze on.

The accommodation was vast in size, but it lacked inviting decor. Instead it was all very clinical and uninviting. Noise reverberated through the building and pool area and the air con was barely adequate. The first room we stayed in had no air con in the bedrooms or fly screens on the windows. The second room we stayed in had the largest bathroom we had ever seen but with the smallest bath tub! The photos on the website looks much better than it was. There was no street access so we had to carry our bags up 2 flights of steps as we did not have a car. The architect on this building has a lot to answer for as most of the issues come down to the fundamental design.

Nice location but misleading

We had arranged and pre-paid for a 'Superior Penthouse Room'. When we checked in we were informed that the Penthouse was taken and we were relegated to the 'Sub-Penthouse' which was actually a first floor unit well below the penthouse. we had been saving for a special family occasion and the Staff could not have been more detached. Their first response was simply...\"Would you like to cancel your booking then?\"
What the hell!
We shall never return, nor will our friends.

Wasn't as flash as I'd thought. BBQ area a blank space and car park was awkward to access security tag. Boring outlook as one verandah looked onto a wall... at least we could watch bowls from other verandah. Best part of stay was pool area location and cleanliness

Positives - nice location, great pool, friendly hosts.

But, the rooms needs fixing. Couch was ripped in a number of places, bed was broken (seriously sagged and meant we woke every morning with a sore back), walls are marked and chipped, TV remote broken, and rooms need a general freshen up.

Had one towel per person for a week, one tiny soap each and one roll of toilet paper. You could get extra towels for $4... (I've never seen that before at a resort hotel).

Great holiday but coming back to the room was a let down.

Awesome Apartments - close to EVERYTHING!

We were very impressed with EVERY aspect of our stay. The room was very spacious, very clean and extremely comfortable. Our stay was fantastic. The rooms are very large and modern. Everything was clean and fresh smelling. Everything worked as it should which is rare. The on-site managers at the complex were so very friendly and helpful with restaurant recommendations plus heaps of tips about the local area and shopping. Just across the road from the beach and with a great pool area you get the best of both worlds. There are heaps of dining options nearby or you can cook in your room with the kitchen well stocked. The massage at the day spa was an added bonus that both my husband and I enjoyed. This complex is perfect for both couples and families. We'll be back!!!!

I booked the three bed apartment and requested the same apartment we had previously used - 3 bed/3 bath. We were a little disappointed not to have it again but the 3 bed we had was still very good. These apartments are very roomy and comfortable and we would always stay there when in Coolum. The complex was apparently fully booked but we didnt notice any excess noise.

Our family (myself, husband, 6 yr old and 3 yr old) have just returned from a wonderful 10 days at The Element. The apartment was excellent, felt fresh, modern and very clean. The beds were also really comfortable! The pool was fantastic and kept us all occupied without having to go too far. The management were also really friendly and helpful and we will definitely be back. The cost was very reasonable for such a quality family holiday. Well done Element, keep up the good work!

Second time we have stayed and again was awesome. The staff and location can't get any better. Rooms/apartments are modern and well equipped. The swimming pool is lovely. The beach, restaurants and shops are on the doorstep. Central location between Noosa and Mooloolaba. Will be back again soon. Thanks again for an enjoyable better than home from home stay.
