I got a room with a balcony facing the ocean and with walls either side keeping the balcony warm but not unbearably hot. You can hear the ocean waves while you sleep. The warm has a small mini fridge kettle, dishes for 2. I couldnt het the tv to work but didnt bother me as I spent most of rhe time on the balcony. Everything is in walking distants, didnt need to drive anywhere once I arrived. Staff were friendly and nice.

It is obvious this property relies on its location to attract customers. The facilities are average and poorly maintained. Laminex surfaces badly chipped, metal corroded and patching of damaged walls obvious. Just a place to sleep!

I wasn’t going to write this review because the girls in reception were the only aspect I thought was ok with the disgraceful experience. Are you really serious about charging $230 a night for this garbage.. truly ??
1) The bed was an absolute disgrace and should’ve been thrown on the tip years ago. I now have a sore back after trying to get any sleep on that disgrace. The springs in the mattress must have given way years ago . I find it hard to believe that no one has else complained. There was only 1 extra pillow in the wardrobe.. quite alarming for a $230 a night motel?.
We couldn’t use the aircon because there was no controls in the room and the ceiling fan didn’t have a low setting.
The toilet seat doesn’t go all the way up. If you’re sitting you need to lean forward because the seat hits you in the back . If you’re standing you need to hold the seat so it doesn’t fall .. again , I can’t believe no one else has complained. The shower/ spa looked unclean . The room door doesn’t have a tight seal.. you can see light coming from the gap to the hallway and the noise from other motel guests comes straight into the room .

1) The bed was an absolute disgrace and should’ve been thrown on the tip years ago. I now have a sore back after trying to get any sleep on that disgrace. The springs in the mattress must have given way years ago . I find it hard to believe that no one has else complained. There was only 1 extra pillow in the wardrobe.. quite alarming for a $230 a night motel?.
We couldn’t use the aircon because there was no controls in the room and the ceiling fan didn’t have a low setting.
The toilet seat doesn’t go all the way up. If you’re sitting you need to lean forward because the seat hits you in the back . If you’re standing you need to hold the seat so it doesn’t fall .. again , I can’t believe no one else has complained. The shower/ spa looked unclean . The room door doesn’t have a tight seal.. you can see light coming from the gap to the hallway and the noise from other motel guests comes straight into the room .

I booked a Queen studio. I would have thought a studio had a small kitchenette, but all that was there was a fridge placed next to the tv unit which is where the cutlery and cups were kept. We had to use the bathroom sink for washing up. Luckily it was only a short stay so we managed, but had we have booked for a week I would have been very unhappy. Great location with my room set back off the main road, it was very quiet. The room was a little dusty with built up dust on the towel rail and bench/table tops. The towel rail was loose so I didn't use it in case it fell off the wall. The staff were very friendly - Jen was fabulous and overall it was a very nice place to stay. The room had a slight musty smell on arrival but acceptable. Decor was a bit tired and needed a freshen up but I would stay here again for convenience. Good value.

Hot days, air conditioning didn’t work, fan was so loud and didn’t offer much relief from the heat, spoke to manager and they put in a portable air conditioner, no better. Very little sleep possible.
