We were very disappointed to enter the unit to find a terrible prawn smell. The previous guests obviously had prawns in the bin, it was not cleaned properly and the smell went through the whole place. Also the ensuite toilet lid was up and had clearly not been cleaned. Splatter under the toilet seat was disgusting. As we had checked in after hours, there was no one at reception. We had to buy antiseptic wipes and air freshener. For the money we spent to stay there, we expected the standard to be a lot higher.

The apartment was great but the aircon was broken so maybe should have been a discounted rate for that but the staff were amazing. I guess the only feedback would be if you advertise an ocean view which there was one maybe you should charge more for the higher levels than pay the same rate and get a lower level room because let's face it the view isn't as good due to palm tre way

We had a stunning view, nice balcony to enjoy the view, the apartment was nicely furnished, use of a gym, swimming pool & spa. There was also a sauna, however I did not use it. The apartment was clean and the kitchen was functional. All in all a great spot within walking distance to beach and village. I particularly enjoyed the Sunshine coast location as it was quieter than Mooloolaba where Coolum was favourable to my sort of relaxing holiday, however the beach bars were available if you wanted social times. A good resort!

The views from the room and balcony did not match the advertised views, which was the biggest disappointment. Our balcony opened to the view of the neighbouring building, which was hugely disappointing.
The room was average at best, and several items were rickety or broken, including the ironing board, washing machine and three light globes.
We were there for 11 days, and we LOVED Coolum.
But the Clubb resort is three stars at best, especially if your room is not on the top 3 or 4 floors.

Well located close to coolum centre, and immediately opposite the main beach. I prefer to be not at the front, with an uninterrupted beach view, but towards the back as it is more quiet. (still with partial view). Pool and gym are an added amenity. Staff very friendly :)

Property was in a great location and the view was remarkable! Staff at the front were accommodating when asked and always very friendly. The property is ageing and could use a few updates, as could the room itself, however that is reflected in the rates. If this building and the unit we stayed in did some updating it is likely the rates would increase significantly. We really enjoyed our stay.

We stayed a couple of nights as a family. Great location, near the beach, awesome pool. We had a large apartment with views of the ocean. Unfortunately there were a few issues with our room, it was damp smelling, mould on fabrics including the curtains and some comforters in the wardrobes, floors sticky, some crockery dirty, couch dirty. Sadly wouldn’t want to stay more than a couple of nights.

An older property but pleasant; had a range of options for wet weather too with sauna and games room, dvds and books and for when the sun came out tennis and pool and spa. Very disappointing!! The property is very dated the pictures on the internet were better than the property. The appliances supplied like the toaster and kettle were filthy along with the oven. Our stay was for four nights we asked to change rooms and were told no. The staff were not helpful or friendly. The property is way overpriced for what you get. On top of this we then had to eat out for breakfast, lunch and dinner due to the state of appliances. Don’t bother booking.

There were however two minor things that bothered us. The laundry light had burnt and it was an inconvenience. The second thing was the power plugs in the bathroom were broken, which meant that I could not dry my hair in there.
We reported both issues to the desk in the hope that it would get fixed but nothing was done about it.
Otherwise I would definitely have given it 5 stars.

Having male and female saunas not adequate if you want to have a sauna with your partner. My partner could not as she was scared in an isolated area where it is located. However great position over looking ocean and everything in walking distance. Great pool and spa.

Property was quite run down, apartment was tired & smaller than photos. Bedding / furniture quite uncomfortable & old. No security in the building. Pool & sauna good though & good location.

We had the worst week of our holiday at Clubb Coolum. The apartment was not maintained to a decent standard - the cupboard door was faulty and fell off. The plastic soap dish in the shower was broken and dangerous, there was mould behind the curtain, the carpets were old and bald and the list goes on. The cleanliness was also sub par… dust everywhere it wasn’t easy to clean (behind tv, under beds, on top of light fittings). My asthma triggered as soon as we arrived. We complained to the front desk who were underwhelming in their response (they asked why we were checking behind curtains). Overall very disappointing accommodation for the cost given it’s advertised as “4.5 star luxury accommodation). Don’t waste your money or precious holiday time here - go somewhere else.

The premises we stayed in were quite dated, some areas did not look like they had seen a broom or a vacuum in quite sometime, the floor of the outdoor deck/patio area was very dirty and the outdoor table and chairs had not been wiped over and cleaned for the next guests. The property was right on the sea front, close to surf club and restaurants and staff were friendly. The spa (part of the pool\" wasn't working well and a few things were out of order but overall the gym and pool were good. Games room requires coins so awkward if you don't carry cash any more :-)

We family of 3 and we have 7 days holiday we have 3 days no internet and from reception tell me is broken and will be fix in couple of days she told me it is nice weather outside I don’t need internet! And 2 days the air conditioning was broken! The apartment was not clean the couches was sticky the floor same ! I never go back even if it’s for free ! The worse holiday in 25 years!

Booked a room with a full or partial ocean view, unfortunately was given one of the worst rooms in the complex . Located at the rear of the building on a low level with an ocean view only if you went onto the balcony and then a very narrow aspect between the building next door.

Stayed here 26 years ago. Coolum has certainly changed in that time. We stayed in unit 12 on the second level. The unit was well appointed , roomy and had fantastic views. Staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. Apart from a tired dishwasher I hope to stay here again; hopefully sooner than the 26 year gap last time.

Our room was in level 1 and was very dated and needed a lot of tlc (paint and fittings). The view was still nice despite being so low. There was a sock and tinsel in the room from previous guests which questions the quality of cleaning. Rollaway bed was extremely uncomfortable for my 3 year old. I wish I had brought an inflatable mattress instead. It was well stocked with everything we needed.

If you want great views of the ocean, the views from the front-facing units are outstanding! Back units have partial ocean vistas only seen from the balconies, but this is fine if you are not there specifically for that view. All units stayed in so far have a lovely spacious feel and we have been very happy staying for extended and short periods. Will stay here again!
