The worst hotel I’ve ever stayed in. When I walked into the reception, the smell of the property immediately made it feel like a junkyard. There was nobody at the reception desk, and at that point I was already considering booking another hotel right away, but I decided to at least see the room.

When I finally got to the room, it was even more uncomfortable than the reception area. The smell persisted, and you could hear everything happening next door, including someone’s phone buzzing, as if they were inside your room.

I booked another hotel within 10 minutes and left. I cannot imagine staying there for more than 30 minutes. Simply unacceptable for a hotel.

Also a bunch of homeless people around the area. One of the homeless people was sitting right in the middle of the hotel entrance by the street.

The room was comfortable and clean. The staff was very accommodating and responded to our requests, whatever they may have been.

The reason for four stars is because there is a refrigerator in the room, but they did not provide two complimentary bottles of water; after we went to the room exhausted from our travels, we had to make our way back outside to the supermarket where we purchased several litres of water.

The location is great! It's a busy intersection, but once the window to the room is closed, there is not much sound from the outside except for the occasional rumble of the Campo Pequeno stop on the Metro which is right outside the hotel's door. That's a plus, given it's only a few stops to the Oceania (Aquarium) and downtown Lisbon.

O quarto é pequeno mas funcional, o banheiro não é funcional (uma vez que não cabe nem a frasqueira em cima da pia) e tbem não é tão limpo (sinais de ferrugem e falta de limpeza). Trata-se de um prédio antigo reformado. Os corredores tem um cheiro forte e enjoativo, na primeira noite me causou enxaqueca. O café da manhã não é de qualidade comparado a outros hotéis que ficamos em Portugal. Por 2 noites deixaram apenas 1 toalha de banho (reserva para casal). Detalhes pequenos que fazem a diferença, no recipiente escrito hidratante tem sabonete, ou seja, se não tem hidratante deixem vazio, mas não encher de sabonete só pra dizer que tem algo ali. A localização não é boa, muuuito longe de tudo, ou seja, eu não indico este hotel.

Wow! That's all I can say. We got there, a bit exhausted from a flight, knowing we'd have to check out WAY too early, and just wanted a good night's sleep. We got more than that. To our surprise, they had upgraded us to a bigger, luxurious room that looked right over the town, with tons of space. Comfortable king bed, plenty of pillows... And there was an elevator! Thank you for making our final night in Portugal wonderful!!!

Staff were very friendly and helpful. Great location next to the metro. We could hear in from the 7th floor, but it didnt disturb us, it was actually pretty cool. Lovely hotel. Would book here again if I'm ever back in Lisbon. Nespresso coffee was great. Café on the ground floor was wonderful. Comfy beds. Very pleased overall.

The property was equal parts modern amenities and historical charm. There is a market within a minute walk for immediate needs and plenty of dining options within a short walk. While we didn’t use the train system this time, it was right outside of the hotel. The staff was great in accommodating our questions and making recommendations. This will be our go to hotel when in Lisbon!

Si regreso a Lisboa, lo vuelvo a rentar, pués por el económico precio que se paga lo tienes todo: Amabilidad, seguridad, limpieza, buen lugar para transportación y un Desayuno Buffet por 14 euros con una oferta variada de productos de excelente calidad. Lo recomiendo 100%.

If I return to Lisbon, I'll rent it again. For the affordable price, you get it all: friendliness, security, cleanliness, convenient transportation, and a buffet breakfast for 14 euros with a varied selection of excellent quality products. I highly recommend it.

Likes: The property is in a convenient central area. Staff are pleasant. Price point was decent.

Cons: You can literally hear the trains rumble by continuously. Our room was very worn looking, the wooden floors were peeling up from prior leaks, the shower let water spray out much to easily. The room was dark. We were given a handicapped accessible room without our consent probably because we booked through expedia. We would not rebook here again.

Well I booked and paix for deluxe room and we got a standard room, 2 twins beds sticked together. The location of this hotel is fine but we can hear the subway. there is a bad smell coming out of the bathroom. I think I could find a better hotel in Lisbon for the same price.

The checkin was swift and seamless, the room was comfortable and clean, the location for us was great, next to metro and Campo Pequeno, many great food establishments near by, you'll be spoilt for choice. The breakfast was ok, having gluten intolerance, available was fruit, yoghurt, bacon, mushrooms and cheeses - but lots of breads and cakes & pancakes for everyone else - enough to set you up for the day. I would stay again.

Limpeza dos quartos perfeita e localização para deslocamento via Metrô ou Comboio maravilhoso. Tudo correu super bem superando nossas expectativas.

Upon arrival at the property, we were greeted by one of the hotel's front desk attendants - David. My friend and I did not find him to be welcoming, and quite cold - while you could chuck it up to nerves, there were other issues relayed which allowed for better reception.

During our stay, we requested an iron and ironing board which was provided, but then removed without our knowledge. Communication goes a long way.

Cleanliness was also an issue- towels were not replaced daily and I had to request new ones upon return to the hotel in the evening.Additionally, we found that the bathroom wasn't properly cleaned, along with the sheets not replaced, even with visibly stained pillow cases.

The power went out and the hallway lighting leaves much to be desired but if there was better staff communication and housekeeping, the score would be better.These issues were relayed this information to the front desk and I do not think that there were appropriate corrections and/or attention to rectify the situation within the time that we stayed, which was five days.

Although the location of the hotel and room size are appealing, all factors must be considered to ensure the best stay for guests.

The air conditioning in the rooms was very inadequate. The cafe next door had good breakfast buffet but was very starkly accommodated. When we asked for additional complementary water at the front desk, we were told no, they used the words, this is not a hotel, but accommodations ?? Our room was large and mostly clean except for the carpet near the bed, which was stained and appeared to need cleaning. Overall it was below average as a hotel and Okay as “accommodations”. ?????

Great location, with a subway entrance right outside the front door and an underground shopping mall across the street in a former bullring, with restaurants as well. Also has a beautifully restored 1930s Art Deco design and a friendly, courteous staff. Lots of shops and restaurants nearby, so the bottom line is this: a great value for what is a relatively modest price. Highly recommended.

It's not a modern building which has its charms. I have stayed near by before, hence I chose this hotel for the ease of travel. It is directly above the metro station so expect some noise. It is about 5 minutes walk from a mainline train station too. I picked a room away from the main road, so i cannot comment on the view from my room. There is a selection of restaurants close by. You have to go further if you want something a bit more fancy. There is the former bullring across the road with a cinema, shops and a converted theatre (not tried the theatre).

Everything went well as planned for my family. The only issue I had faced was with the Air conditioning. I felt it was not cooling well and stops after a certain period of time. Then we had to do the power on and restart again.

Staff support was great, very nice people. Location is fantastic and the property is kept neat and tidy.

I am sure the property can provide a great experience for any tourist visiting Lisbon.

Pros - The Hotel is in a great location next to shops and restaurants. You can easily get to the train and Bus stations which are very close by. The staff at the hotel are amazing always looking to help and are very friendly.

Cons - You could hear some noise from the cars outside and the AC doesn't go below 24 Degrees Celsius.

When we left our bags at the desk because the room was not ready, one of our backpacks was very wet when we picked it up. The carpet in the room was not clean and the room was very run down.

The breakfast... The best!
However you can feel, yes feel, the subway every time arrives to the station.
We had a balcony suite on the 2 floor. Probably if you have room in the back of the hotel, you won't notice that the hotel is on top of a train stop.

There's no parking lot on the property, the only parking lot around the area is the shopping mall, or you can circle the blocks around the hotel in looking for a freed parking area, we did the first night took an hour and a half to find parking, horrible! The bathroom and part of the room smelt like sewer. The outside of the area the same.

There was no drinkable water in the room and I had to ask for a bottle. I got charged for it and it seemed odd because usually there’s always a welcome bottle water in any hotel room. Heads up if you are arriving late.
