Very nice hotel
Great hotel, from check in to the very nice, updated and clean room. I have significant allergies and there were no strong scents or fragrances. We will definitely stay here again!
Kevin
Friendly staff, quick check in, quiet rooms, breakfast was good, and easy on site parking.

Great Service and Atmosphere
The staff were very friendly. The hotel was clean and well taken care of from the time we stepped in the front door to our room. The room was nice. Would definitely stay here again.

Residence Inn by Marriott in Springfield, IL
The Residence Inn by Marriott has now become my #1 hotel of choice! I appreciate everything about this place. The next time that I'm in Springfield I will definitely be lodging here!
Todd
Beautiful and clean property with nearby restaurants. Room felt like a mini apartment. Nice place!

We were given the key to our room, went to the room, swiped the card and entered only to find the room was already occupied. The occupant was quite startled and quite perturbed. NOT cool.
The next room we were given had a toilet that overflowed upon flushing. Got it fixed...only to run into the same problem with the same toilet the next morning. Again - NOT cool.

We liked everything about this property. Starting with the friendly check in desk staff, to the, to housekeeping, and the breakfast help. This is one of the best experiences we have had traveling.

The room was nice and clean. The only issue I had was that the bed was a very firm bed

Excellent!
The Best extended stay hotel in Springfield, ILLINOIS. Cost more but worth it!! Best breakfast! They also serve food and drinks on selected days during the week - complimentary to your stay. The manager of guest services is professional and friendly. The general manager is awesome as well.
Fred
Great property with all the amenities which was a bonus especially during Covid.
Alex
Friendly staff, great location. Nice precautions when using the pool, etc.
Shawn
Nice layout and medium to higher priced hotel but The hotel is built cheaply. It’s all great but If you’re above the first floor just dont walk around your room because the people below you will complain about the noise.
Irene

We have stayed at other Residence Inn's. Our stay was short but comfortable. Front office personnel were nice and helpful with recommendations regarding restaurants and town. Room was clean and bed comfortable. Hallway was warm and smelled slightly musty. All and all stay was comfortable and would definitely stay there again.
Ronald
great breakfast ladies
Very good experience. Morning breakfast staff was outstanding.

Everything was clean and the staff was excellent but the pool was closed😥 so my kids didn’t get to swim.

My room was REALLY loud..........think the AC unit was outside my room
Dawn
We loved the way the room was set up and the look of it. Very attractive and spacious. There was a firre outside for guests to sit around and we thought that was great. The only thing I didn't like was no mirror in the actual bathroom itself.
Verified traveler
Very friendly and clean! The outside was clean as well as the inside.

The pool water chemicals needed to be checked. They weren’t right

Pleasant Trip
Friendly staff everything was great would definitely stay there again
John
Everything was great, but the A/C unit in the room 410 was as loud as a jet engine spooling up for take off. Quite disruptive when trying to sleep.

Clean and new looking, staff very helpful and friendly.

1 night stay
Nice, quiet hotel. Very clean and friendly staff. Breakfast was not great, tons of people and small space. We ended up going elsewhere. The hotel itself was wonderful!
Linda
Excellent
We just needed a room for 1 night along I55 and the reviews sold us on Residence Inn. Our room was very clean and comfortable. The bed and shower were excellent. The breakfast area was large, well maintained with a better than average range of choices. We would definitely stay here again.
Stephanie
Comfy, but noisy
The HVAC system was much too noisy! When running, it sounded like a car without a muffler or a motorcycle was just outside the room. Even when not, there was an audible drone like bagpipes from the nearby rooms’ HVAC. Staff was apologetic, saying it was a known problem and that they are slated to get new HVAC (these are 7 years old).

Love Netflix that is available in the room. Always clean and ready. Have never had any issues. The breakfast is great to.

Pool not available during our visit. Wrong bedding for fold out bed - corrected by Front Desk.

My family and I stayed here overnight while we visited the town. I'm very picky about hotels, as cleanliness and the condition of the hotel room are MAJOR concerns for me. I readily admit to being a germaphobe. I'm glad to say the Residence Inn Springfield South met all of our needs.
When we checked in, we met Ken (one of the hotel representatives) and he was great. He and the other hotel employees went above and beyond to make sure we had a great stay.
Our room was on the second floor, reasonably near the elevator. We had a King bed room with a double sofa bed. The room was clean and very nice. We didn't realize that Residence Inns provide so many amenities of home, so when we saw the full-sized refrigerator, the large microwave, the two-burner cooktop and the dishwasher, we were pleasantly surprised. There were even dishes in the cabinets and silverware in the drawers, in addition to a small dining table with condiments.
The hotel offers a free full breakfast in the mornings. The breakfast includes your typical eggs and sausage (or chicken sausage if you prefer), as well as biscuits and gravy. There is fresh fruit, two brands of yogurt, three types of cereals, a waffle maker, bagels, etc. The best part are the juice options, which include apple, orange, and a delicious strawberry-kiwi blend that I would take a gallon of if I could!
Overall, this was a great choice for us. We’d gladly stay there again.

This is a quality hotel with a little of everything. We chose this location due to the fact that we were traveling with our dog. The room's full kitchen allowed us to cook onsite. That said, the location is perfect and is next to a number of restaurants as well. The staff was courteous and professional and the free breakfast was a notch above average. I would definitely reccomend.

Always a great experience!

The stay was wonderful. Amenities were perfect for family.

Relatively new hotel and clean. Only issue was the AC is 4ft from the bed and runs like a jet engine. It made sleeping difficult. If you are a light sleeper this is not the hotel for you.

One of the nicest stays I've had recently!
Everything about this is wonderful. I highly recommend it!

Great people, great pool.
New, beautiful place, great staff very kid friendly. Only wish it was closer to downtown. After driving 4.5 hours I’d want to park the car and walk.
