The person at the front desk was very helpful and friendly. The bed was comfy which is very important to me. The AC unit was very noisy so I was moved to a second room. Again, the AC was noisy but was okay. In the back of the property where it was suggested that l park, l did not feel safe or secure.

Upon check-in the lady at the desk was definitely on or off medication. Several pure rude statements that were completely out of context. The people in line were shocked as well!

4 floors with 1 elevator that is used by their staff as well. It did not even work well. No need to wait that long for an elevator .

The staff was amazing I would say the breakfast is not good at all the pool is tiny which is okay but when people come in with a lot of kids it's gives you know you can't even use it property just smells funny in the elevator takes so long you could have made it up the stairs by the time the elevator comes to you other than that I had a great time.

Problems wirh the TV service.The rooms are decent but when I got in there the handle on the desk was hanging down.The furniture in the room was beat up maybe look into upgrading. As far as breakfast it ok average. The sausage was uncooked. Other than that it was a overnight stay in did get some rest.

The room was terrible, couch had taped on it and it was old and broken down. Towel bar was coming down. I’m not sure if it was the cleaner hair on a towel or prior guest. I also got bit pretty bad. I’m not sure if it was fleas or bed bugs. I thought maybe it was due to I went out to smoke at night, the last night I realized something was biting me in the room.

The breakfast staff didn't understand English well enough to easily answer questions.
The pool needs replastering on bottom or whatever you call it. If not opening windows for ventilation maybe some sort of exhaust fan? My grandkids call the pool........One big chlorine tablet.
Strong and can never see your feet while in pool. Googles didn't even give underwater vision.

2nd stay there. Nice enough to use again. Convenient to take 6th right to downtown. Convenient to hop on bypass.

I know pet friendly....but too much for non pet people to have dogs in pool area and in breakfast area. Do not understand why that's allowed.
Very slow elevator...but I believe it's old hotel.
For the price.....I'm happy. I'd use again. I'm not a fancy traveler.

The lady who checked me in was not at the desk when I walked in and was putting something away before she helped me. Just not very friendly or guest orientated.
The room was clean and spacious, and the rest of the inside of the hotel seemed clean.
The landscape outside was not well maintained and there were homeless people right outside the side door. (I informed the front desk lady and she didn't seem to care. Not a good look for the property.)
Breakfast was not as good as expected. Few choices and only available for three hours.
The one elevator was sketchy. Very jerky and noisy. Didn't seem safe and the elevator
equipment room at the ground level was open for some reason.

Our check in went well and the young woman at the front desk was very kind and helpful. Unfortunately, there was a VERY strong marijuana smell and it was enough that it wafted into one of our rooms and filled the elevator. The beige couches within the suites have some definite wear and instead of replacing them, they covered the seat cushions with black covers. It’s a nice effort but the couches likely need to be replaced soon. Breakfast had a nice variety and was well stocked. Overall, our room was clean-ish, breakfast was good and the front desk was helpful. We will likely return next year on our annual trek north to Michigan.

WARNING!! PLEASE READ THIS BEFORE YOU BOOK! This property was absolutely disgusting. During check in, I had to use the public restroom because I had just driven for hours. There were bugs everywhere, the floor was slippery, and the smell was awful. At the front desk, Terri, was very rude and snippy with her words and bad attitude. I asked her if I was doing something to make her speak to me so disrespectfully. She told me “this is just my personality. If you don’t like it, that’s on you.” WOW! When I went to check my room, before I brought my personal belongings in, I pulled back the sheets to check the bed. There were live bugs, vomit, bodily fluids, and a few things I could not identify. I asked Terri to change my room. She said “no, we’re at capacity.” I then said I would like to check out. She told me I had to contact Expedia to get a refund. No problem, just give me a receipt showing that I checked out. She became more irate saying that the receipt was only going to show what Expedia paid, not what I paid. I fell silent because I was getting pissed off by now. She kept talking and trying to provoke me, but I’m a woman of God. He’ll take care of her. I got my receipt and left. When I contacted Expedia, she made it impossible for me to receive a refund for the first day, stating that the property would lose money because they held that room for me. Even though I have pictures to show it’s inhabitable conditions, they kept my money. DO NOT BOOK THIS HOTEL!! EVER!!

The young lady at the front desk was as terrible, after two nights of loud noise / kids jumping in the room above, I called the front desk, I was told others had also complained and that I just needed to wait untill they stopped or went to bed. When trying to explain the situation she would continue to talk over me as she didn't want to hear what I had to say. You made a bad choice when you hired her!
Also loud noisy air conditioner, it needs servicing.

This hotel really caters to people traveling with pets and is a great deal for them. I probably wouldn't have chosen it if I had realized this before I booked. But aside from a little barking we slept comfortably.

The room had been remodeled, very well done except the trim in bathroom. The bathroom door swung open and the handle hit the glass shower door pretty hard if you didn't catch it.

The AC never got the room temp below 75, no matter how much you adjusted the thermostat. Weird because it was blasting full speed and 66° when we first entered, and turned it down.

The pool water was cloudy, and way over chlorinated. In fact, you could smell \"chlorine\" (pool odor) on the third floor.

Staff was great, frielndly. The bed was soft, like a down topper, very comfortable. Mattress contained in a protective bag. The breakfast area in the lobby was very good and very well stocked. The lobby and halls were very clean. In some places the wallpaper poorly adhered along the top and seams. Ice and vending well supplied. No sign of mold or mildew in our ice machine (yes, I checked - bad experience elsewhere).

All in, not a bad deal. But pushing the price point. We would stay again.

Clean and spacious room. The couch was stained with duct tape on the arm. The AC screeched whenever it turned on. But the rest of the hotel was clean and well maintained. I was surprised that even the stairwells were nice and well maintained. There was a full hotel that night, but there was no noise leak from other areas of the hotel or other rooms. Staff was very friendly and helpful, especially the young blonde lady who checked us in.

First impression of the lobby looked great, but our room was a bit of a wreck. The bathroom vessel sink faucet was extremely loose and we had to hold it in place before turning on the water. The carpet next ti the desk water sticky from previously spilled soda or some kind of sugar drink. The couch had duct tape across the couch arm. The ice machine on the 3rd floor didn’t work. The elevator rumbles and groans and makes you wonder if your going to be stranded inside.

The room was clean but the fold out mattress looked like it was the scene of a stabbing or worse. One of the TVs was not wired correctly and could not find the input. The remote for that TV was also useless only turning the power on to display no input. The handle caps in the shower were all loose and just hanging from the bottom bar and the metal tissue box cover fell off the wall when we tried to pull a tissue from the box.
The breakfast was weak, every day tasteless biscuits and gravy, when they had not run out of biscuits and the customers had not dropped the waffle or sausage gravy everywhere.
The rest of the available items were limited to toastable items, yogurt or really bad coffee.
After 2 days of this we finally gave up and went out for breakfast.
Overall the stay was fine, we will just look for another establishment that more meets our needs for our visit next year.

My family and I arrived at La Quinta Inn in Springfield, IL. located on 1121 LeJune Dr. We were all tired from a long drive and wanted to lay down right away. Within a few hours of being inside room 220 we noticed a roach crawling on the wall. I took a picture of it to show to the desk person who informed me that they were sold out for the night. Of course I ended up at a better hotel that night. The managers and the owners took weeks only to refund me half of my money back. What a poor and sloppy management team and customer service.

I reached out to Wyndham but the fact that this particular location is privately owned, they could do anything.

This is a very average hotel. The sink in the bathroom is so impractical, the pillows on our king size bed were not even standard size. They were almost square. Breakfast was just ok. Its right next to a Walmart. The bathroom door didnt latch when closed. The room door lock didnt work right. Needs improvement. Wasn't horrible. Wasn't great.

When I checked in the lady at the front desk was rude and not friendly at all. She complained a lot. The room was clean till I went to the bathroom, there poop on the toilet seat. The tv by the bed did not work, Breakfast was ok is was lukewarm, I got there when they opened it up. Then when I was to check out there was nobody at the front desk at all. I left at about 9:00am no body there at all.
