I arrived and was 1st greeted by Concierge Sebastian who checked me in and made me feel so welcome with such excellent customer service and ability to handle guests like no other I've seen. I was thoroughly impressed with his knowledge of his systems, programs and ammenties with ability to complete tasks so efficiently that left me amazed. He is a great leader and deserves a raise like the others as well. Bradley also made sure I felt at home and made Costa Rica that much more beautiful. Followed by Andre and Mileidy. One night Andre stayed late with me trying to help find locations around the hotel that were open. I really appreciated that as well. Overall I would highly recommend Hilton Garden Inn Santa Ana for all these reasons. Thank you to the Staff top to bottom who were all stars and their professionalism is unmatched in this hotel industry as I am frequent traveller. I will be back to beautiful Costa Rica and will be staying here again. Muchas Gracias. Pura Vida my friends. Pura Vida 🙏

A very convenient location in the heart of Santa Ana, clean and spacious rooms (although there is a construction site next door during the time of my stay), super friendly and professional staff and a decent buffet breakfast. I enjoyed staying here.

I had several terrible experiences with the front desk staff. They were rude, dismissive and unhelpful. The beds were wobbly. The showers were poorly designed and the building next door had loud music every night.

Super clean, great staff, great breakfast with a lot of options. Tempered nice size pool and a nice hot jacuzzy. Location is great of you don't want to be surrounded by the City. But 10 min drive, though location is 5 minute walk for supermarket. And less than that for cinema. Restaurants and nice bars. Very secure location.

Es la 2da vez que me quedo en este Hotel. La primera me decepcioné porque habían problemas de A/C y se juntaban los olores del baño del otro cuarto.

Esta vez la experiencia fue otra. Primero felicitar a Sebastián de Front Desk, un tipazo. Amable, resolutivo y con una actitud de servicio envidiable.

Por otro lado esta vez el cuarto estaba impecable, el A/C funcionaba a la perfección y no había problemas de olores.

Super recomendado el hotel y la ubicación.

The hotel itself is okay, but the service really needs improvement. The male receptionist was extremely rude and arrogant, and unwilling to help with even basic requests. He was quite nasty in his attitude and claimed that the manager is never available. This made the overall experience very disappointing. Also they will never issue any refunds if you leave days earlier than expected.

We liked everything about this hotel. The front desk staff and cleaning staff were friendly and helpful, the room was spotless and had a fantastic view of the city, and the location is a very nice area of Santa Ana with a variety of services on the same block. Parking was included and was very convenient. We would definitely stay again.

En general todo muy bien. El hotel está en buenas condiciones, las personas son muy amables y la ubicación está en muy buen lugar.

Mi problema viene desde la perspectiva del Aire Acondicionado, eso para mi fue un desastre.

Por alguna razón decidieron invertir en un sistema que. NO permite ajustar la temperatura a la que uno desee que esté el cuarto.

Yo cuando salgo de viaje duermo a 19grados centígrados. Pero el hotel por política tiene que uno no puede modificar esta temperatura, así que por más que se modificaba en el tablero, volvía a ponerlo a 22 grados centígrados.

Según me comentaron son los mismos administradores de Wyndham Gardenn y también me pasó lo mismo en ese hotel y por eso esta vez decidí cambiar de hotel.

Así que si no te molesta dormir a 22 grados está bien. De lo contrario es mejor buscar otro hotel.

The beds were like seesaws like they have something in the middle that makes them move from side to side so if one person moves the whole bed moves. It was the same on both the queen beds in our room. And the hotel staff come by every morning at 7:00am and open doors to each room to see if it is occupied. Definitely the worst sleep we have had in a hotel in a long time. The coffee machines are extremely loud. The window only has a sheer or a black out screen. So you open the very difficult to pull cord for the blackout screen at 7:00 in the morning after being woken up by the hotel staff person opening your door just to be blinded by the sun. The shower gets water all over the floor of the bathroom. The parking in the garage is a big hassle. The breakfast is not great.

The hotel is well located but the first room they gave us had a broken bathroom door. I requested a change and they moved us to a corner room, nice view of the mountains, however the bathroom door was also broken! I cant understand how you dont verify something so basic before using or assigning the room

Had a great stay here. Will return for another booking soon!! Staff was wonderful the room I had with a view was perfect. The only complaint I have is that one of the outlets under my desk wasn’t fully placed properly. You can see the a 3 inch gap in between th drywall. Also the toilet seat wasn’t placed properly it was off centered. Trust and believe I use toilet paper to protect against any kind of germs. Besides that it was a great stay.

I had a great stay at this new hotel! The property is clean, modern, and has ample parking, which made arriving and leaving so convenient. I also really appreciated the 24/7 security—it made me feel safe the entire time.

There are several restaurants and places to eat nearby, so grabbing a meal was never an issue. Overall, I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a comfortable and convenient place to stay. I’ll be returning on my next trip!

The room and all common areas were spotless, the pool was nice although a small bar would have made it better, and the breakfast was delicious with a sunny patio and lots of indoor seating. The staff at front desk were polite but not as friendly or welcoming as I had expected. Great location with many nice restaurants and stores just across the street in the plaza.

The check-in is already late but ok that’s something that many hotels are doing nowadays. The insanity is: even having 3 hours to get our room ready by their own schedule, we arrived around 5:30pm and they told us our room wasn’t avaiable yet and asked us to wait for 30min more with a baby offering an “incredible” coffee.

The beds were hard and the pillows didn't give proper neck support, so the sleep was not comfortable. There's no microwave in the rooms and the minibar is too small that makes it difficult for lengthy stays. The coffee at the lobby is not complementary unlike most hotels and you pay $4 for a small cup. The towels are worn out and the staff didn't leave enough for everyone in the room. Same with soap and toilet papers. The water temprature for shower was keep changing between cold and hot which made it uncomfortable. There's no where to hang wet swim suits for drying. If you want to stay for 1 nights it's ok but I won't recommend it for longer stays

The staff was amazing! So courteous and friendly. Loved the bedroom, 2 double beds and beautiful view, large window that oversaw mountains. Starbucks right behind hotel + multiple shops and restaurants in the same plaza within walking distance.
We walked at night to restaurants and there’s security in the plaza.

We had breakfast buffet at the hotel daily which was delicious. Hotel has a small pool on the 3rd floor. The pool is warmer than the hot tub which is not hot. But beautiful views from the pool. There’s a gym next to pool area. Pool towels in the shelves outside.

Anytime I called the front desk to request assistance, someone came within 5 mins. Restaurants do close earlier in Costa Rica so plan accordingly. We ordered food from hotels restaurant and it was delish.

The check in/lobby/bar and restaurant are all on the 2nd floor so take the elevator up when arriving to check in. The hotel had parking too at no charge to us, which was fantastic. Would def stay here again. We took Ubers to and from hotel since it’s cheaper than hotel transport which has to be prescheduled. Costa Rican roads are super busy so give yourself extra time to get around. Pura Vida!

Nice new hotel in Santa Ana

At first, the hotel was a bit hard to navigate but once we got the hang of where to go, how the parking and elevators work, etc, the hotel was just fine. We really liked the gym and the pool.
The buffet was way overpriced ($25 per person) so we chose a la cart and it was yummy.

The staff was very helpful and kind. The rooms were very clean with updated amenities. The beds were not the most comfortable. I ran into a few issues and Sebastian, and Yenderson went above and beyond to make it right. I walked away with only complaint which was the jacuzzi. It was lukewarm warm with lackluster water jets. They need to not advertise that they have one, especially if it is not in good working condition.

First thing, there is no sign in the vestibule stating you have to use the elevators to the 2nd floor to find the lobby. The staff did not day you have to scan your card to use the elevator. The option to post ahead for breakfast was not listed when booking. They do Not have a free airport shuttle, despite that being in the listing. There were strands of hair on my counter and in the bathroom. The bathroom sink drains slow.
The good things about the hutel are the comfort of the bed and the many varieties of restaurants surrounding the location. I doubt I would stay here again because they don't suit my needs with their nickle and diming. $40 to the airport that is 11 mis away !?!

Loved my stay here. It is so beautiful and the view from the pool was incredible. Staff are so kind and helpful. Rooms are clean and well maintained. Many shops, cafes, restaurants, bars, etc, just steps away from the hotel. It is still quiet and calm.Our room had a view of the city and we loved it. 10/10 would definitely stay here when visiting San Jose again!
