The prompt for this asks to write a review to help travellers plan better. My advice to plan better and have a more enjoyable experience in Tokyo is to NOT book this hotel. I have just left and not slept for a week. The sirens, alarms and noise from outside is overwhelming and carries on all day and night. It feels like your window is always open. The staff were extremely rude and not helpful at all. They didn’t clean our room when we put the sign up on the door, advised that we can bring down our own rubbish and one time only made up our bed rather than change the sheets. The rooms are tiny and the pillows are so bad that I’m going to have to pay thousands of dollars just to repair my neck. When I asked for a soft pillow they said they didn’t have any. When issues were raised, we were only offered a refund if we left by 11am that day which we couldn’t because we had booked an activity. I’ve slept on airport floors, at bus stations, party hostels and I even caught bed bugs once in Spain whilst travelling and this hotel is without a doubt the worst place I’ve ever been with the poorest customer service. Please do yourself a favour and never come here. The reviews are not accurate which has gotten me to truly believe the staff or manager there must be writing them themselves. Awful awful awful.

The staff was very nice, easy check-in process. There is coin-op laundry on two of the floors. You can get the front desk to give you change for bills. Never had an issue with finding an open machine. They don't dry super well, but that is sort of expected. Would recommend putting in small loads. There is a Tully's downstairs, which we didn't go to but is a nice convenience. The subway entrance is right next door which was appreciated.

The mini fridge was nice to have and location was close to points of interest.

The elevator from the ground floor to the hotel lobby was broken so somewhat inconvenient. The room for four people is a bit small, but I chalk that up to Japanese hotel rooms. The hotel itself feels a little outdated, but nothing egregious. I would stay here again.

Very very small room and bathroom. I understand this to be the average size in Japan but if you're tall/big I'd encourage you to look elsewhere. The air conditioning only seemed to run hot so we had to have the window open and the main road was extremely noisy throughout the night meaning we did not sleep well for the 4 nights we were there. Subway stations nearby and close to the golden gai area and shinjuku centre.

I had questions regarding luggage shipping, staff seem to be speaking decent English were always confused when questions asked. I understand the language barrier though luggage forward is a very common thing that hotels do.

Because of staff appeared to be uncertain, it made me feel super uneasy, I’m not sure if they understood but did say okay anyways???

Location is next to local subway, one station away from JR line Shinjuku. Which is great.

Very close to Kabukicho. Lots to see. There were a lots of siren sound from ambulance that go by. I think the hospital is close by? If you are light sleeper, get some earplugs.

Typical small room. Luggage could be stored under the bed.

Rooms are comfortable for a relaxed nights sleep after a big day out walking.

The room was cleaned daily and staff were courteous. However, the toilet has a constant urine smell despite it being cleaned and dry. On the first day, we noticed a stain on one of the bath towels and became concerned on the cleanliness. But the towels were clean in subsequent days. The stay was acceptable. It’s literally located next to the subway entrance/exit. Having said that, you need to use Apple Map to navigate to and from the airport and look for lifts should you have big luggage. The airport limo bus is not nearby.

This Hotel is awful and the pictures are very deceiving the hotel is very dated and the cleanliness is terrible.
Our room still had the previous guest items in the fridge and fake eyelashes stuck to the wall the duvet inners are literally yellow with stains.
To top it off this is located right next to the fire station so fire alarms all night.
Very disappointing as we were looking forward to a nice relaxing stay for the last three days of our time in Japan but we seriously considered forfeiting the money spent at this Hotel to book another Hotel.

Location is reasonable relative to Shinjuku but it's very loud at night due to emergency vehicles and being on a main road. Would not recommend for families. Single traveller is ok.

Location is 10/10, with the Higashi-Shinjuku train station next door to the hotel, loads of restaurants, 7/11s, and a coffee house nearby.

Perfect for location and walking distance to Shinjuku.

Stayed here for 2 Tokyo trips now. Still my favorite hotel to visit, staff is friendly and helpful, luggage delivery is available and this hotel is right next to the train station, like 5 steps from the door. Highly recommend if you're looking for a budget friendly option.

This hotel is at the Northeast corner of Kabukicho. I booked the 2 bed room that faces the intersection. 4th floor room was pretty quiet to regular traffic. Laundry station was on the 4th floor as well. There is a train station entrance next to the hotel doors that has a straight line route to Akihabara. This room was the most spacious out of three 2 bed hotels I booked in Tokyo for a week. There is a CoCo Curry across the street north and a Mcdonalds to the east with plenty of other places to eat within sight of the hotel.

The workers here are awesome!!!
The room is tiny like a train room. We are not tall and our knees hit the door in the bathroom.
The condition of the hallway is not so nice, as carpets look dirty or stained. The breakfast is at Tully's and you choose a drink and a food (one french toast, or hotdog, or a sandwich).
Rated this place as ok because staff are great. Location is good.
Would not stay here again though.

The staff was very pleasant and helpful in answering diverse questions about the area. The rooms were clean and convenient but really small. No chair but a stool for the desk although that's where I put my small suitcase. The bed was big enough that I could put my larger suitcase on the side of it and still have room to sleep. I think it might have fit under the bed if I didn't need to open it.

LOCATION:
Very convenient right across a subway line. A station away from Shinjuku so centric but away from chaos.
Several restaurants nearby and the coffee shop next door was great!
Very easy to get to from HND airport.
ROOM:
The room was “Tokyo-small”. Full size bed, small restroom, mini fridge, small desk. Space under bed to pull our luggage in and out.
It was two adults, female 5”1 XS and male 5”11 M; we fit just fine in the bed and traveled with one carry-on and two backpacks, which also fit fine. ((I saw comments about the rooms “definitely” not being for two people, the room could be uncomfortable for larger people and larger suitcases. The restroom was tight for the male occupant)).
Bed and pillows were comfortable, room was clean, no smoke smell, natural light through the window was a plus.
AMENITIES:
Basic lobby, elevator from first floor to lobby on 2nd floor, additional elevator for the other floors. Coin laundry in 3/4th floors (30 min wash for ¥400, 30 min dry for ¥100).
STAFF:
Friendly staff, very welcoming. They stored our luggage in the morning until our check in, and they helped us ship our luggage to our next hotel in Onomichi (cash only for this service as they pay a 3rd party)
Overall I’d stay there again. This hotel worked out great for us!

This was our first time staying in a different area of Shinjuku. The property was located next to a metro which was very convenient. The staff were friendly and helpful with any questions and with shipping our luggage to Toyama.

The rooms were clean and quiet. I loved that we were next to a Tully's, McDonalds, Lawsons, and Don Quixote. There were a ton of restaurants in the area as well. It was a short walk to see Godzilla in Shinjuku and it gave us a chance to explore another side of Tokyo.

Great staff, very friendly and helpful. Great location, very convenient for many things. The rooms are very small, like college dorm rooms. The beds are very hard and hard on the back. I’d rather sleep on the floor. The pillows are equally as hard.

Had a great stay here. It’s in a great location for getting around Tokyo - also lots of food and bar options in the area.

The staff were amazing. Really helpful and friendly. Added plus is they organise a courier service for your luggage if you’re travelling around.

It has to be said that the rooms are pretty small but we didn’t mind as we were out a lot and there is space under the bed to put suitcases.
