The employees were very friendly and were available if we needed assistance. The room was clean, but the linen on one bed had an unidentified mark on the bottom sheet. Yikes! The breakfast was average and had all the usual things. The dining area was kept clean between diners. The parking lot was cramped and small and unfortunately someone had vomited out their door right where we parked in the only available spot that evening (now we know why, right?). I was VERY disappointed the the pool was \"closed for maintenance\". That is one of the criteria that I have to select where I plan to rent a room. Traveling can be difficult for kids but it them helps to know that they will be able to swim at the end of of a long trip. This seems to be more and more frequent over the past 1-2 years with several hotels I've stayed, probably 4 times out of 12. Not their fault with the exception this stay. I would return to this property again but not without asking if the pool is really going to be available.

I stayed at La Quinta Inn Everett during an exceptionally busy week when most hotels in the Seattle area were completely booked, so I was grateful to find a room.
The staff was welcoming and friendly from the moment I arrived, and check-in was quick and easy. Overall, the hotel was clean and well maintained. The hallways smelled fresh, although my room had a slight stale odor. The room itself was fairly clean, with only a few minor issues, including some burn marks in the bathroom, on top of the TV console, and in a couple of other spots.
The shower had plenty of hot water, which was appreciated, though the water pressure was on the light side. Despite those minor drawbacks, the room was comfortable and provided everything I needed for a good night's sleep.
Overall, this was a solid stay. If you're looking for a clean, affordable place with friendly staff—especially during a busy travel period when other hotels are full—La Quinta Inn Everett is a good option.

The rooms were smelly stained carpet, torn carpet toilet didn’t flush and cockroaches coming out of the drain. We didn’t eat breakfast there because the cockroaches parking was OK. Staff was very nice but never able to find them. House keeping didn’t do a good job . And the pool was green and bubbly.

If I could give this hotel zero stars, I would. The entire hotel smelled strongly of smoke and mold. As soon as we walked into our room, we noticed hair all over the bedding, a blood stain on one of the sheets, and a large red stain on the carpet next to the bed with additional spots leading toward the sink.

Within about 10 minutes of being in the room, our throats started burning from the smell. The pool area was packed with a loud party, and the water looked cloudy and dirty.

Our entire baseball team decided to check out immediately and cancel our reservations because the conditions were so bad. Despite leaving right away, we were still charged for one night, which is incredibly disappointing.

This was by far one of the dirtiest hotels I’ve ever seen. I would never stay here again and would not recommend it to anyone.

You will definitely be happier picking another hotel. I’ve NEVER left a hotel before but this place was bad enough to leave. Dingy, smell of smoke, turbid pool water.

Luckily, Expedia was relentless on making this right.
Chose Expedia but save yourself and skip this hotel.

Front desk staff was amazing. Unfortunately the room connected to us was loud and inappropriate. While that is not the staffs fault, they were unable to make any accommodation to change our room so we didn’t have to hear loud intercourse from 12am to 7 am. That made it hard to get a good night sleep. Bathroom needed attention when we checked in but that was resolved immediately which was greatly appreciated. Overall we were pleased with the staff. The surrounding area is not safe at night for those looking to stay in this area.

First the good: the front desk associates were wonderful, kind, and the best part of my stay. And parking was ample and free.

As a silver lining optimist, even I had a hard time turning the rest into positives:
-the whole 3rd floor smelled of cigarette smoke for a \"smoke-free\" hotel
-I had to move rooms twice, once bc of the cigarette smell, thumping loud music through apparently thin walls, and a TV so blurry I was getting a migraine; and once bc the TV didn't work & the AC sounded like a dentist drill to my eardrums
-the desks were wobbly, nearly collapsing
-the bath faucets were leaking or malfunctioning
-the rooms/bathrooms looked more like a 1 star motel than a La Quinta
-doors slamming at 6a due to the door control arms being improperly calibrated
-the cafe is closed off and chairs upended and unavailable after breakfast which is obviously uninviting, even for paying guests
-the shampoo & conditioner dried my hair out and the lotion pump didn't work

Definitely the least restful night I've ever spent in a hotel. I couldn't comment on breakfast bc a late night natural gas evacuation coupled with doors slamming at 6a led to me falling back asleep exhausted through breakfast.

I usually don’t write reviews, but had to pass this along. Right when we entered our room, there were a bunch of paint chips and crumbs of some sort on the floor all over. We had to walk around in our shoes the whole time. The sink and bathroom didn’t look like they had been cleaned and there was hair in the bathtub. The icing on the cake was the small dog next door that continued to bark through the night then again at 6am. I wish I could write a better review, but this hotel needs improvement.

When I got to the hotel the TV didn’t work and then I went down to tell the staff and he asked to come in and fix it. When he came in he proceeded to tell me that this is a small tv (which it was the size of a computer monitor) and that there is only 2 rooms with that small of a TV. We asked to switch rooms and he laughed and said he is going to fix the TV. I then took a shower and the shower curtain would only stay in the middle and it was because the rod was broken. I pushed it back up but it would just fall right back down. The floor was soaked! The breakfast was terrible. Sad stay and I was stuck there for 2 days!

Carmen and Landon (spelling?) were great! Always kind and helpful. The property was clean inside, and the housekeeping staff did a good job with the old building that they were working with.

The room itself was just okay. Our window didn’t have a screen. The electricity would flicker and the smart tv was connected to the WiFi for the Holiday Inn across the lot, and would not connect to the La Quinta WiFi. It caused a lot of buffering issues. The toilet and sink were really close to the ground. The toilet was so close to the door that if you bent down to pick your pants up, you’d hit your head on the door knob.

There is only one way in and one way out of the building and the building is kind of hard to find if you don’t know where you’re going. The parking lot of the nearby businesses have a lot of drug addicts, so you’ll want to make sure your car is locked and no valuables are visible.
