Hotel lovely and clean and fresh.Staff especially Carmina was extremely helpful and went out of her way to find details we needed.Breakfast very nice and good touch on each floor are water stations and fresh fruit which is free to residents.This is the third year in a row and this hotel just gets better each time and can thoroughly recommend.

Absolutely wonderful room! So we chose family size with pool access and every morning could wake up with view of the magnificent castle. Having a fridge as well as kettle and coffee machine was a bonus too. Such comfortable bed…. Do book a room with pool access as it’s wonderful for views and chilling. We will definitely return and highly recommend mostly because of all the staff on reception who were cheerful friendly and most helpful - simply the best.. Thank you all.

The Superior Double room was very spacious and very clean. Staff were amazing and very helpful.
There is parking but we did not use this as the hotel location is right on the main promenade and easy walking to the marina, beach and main town, with the Ramblas Road in east reach. Various squares with restaurants also in walking distance.
Breakfast at the hotel was the only area where not excellent but it is sufficient with continental breakfast and a hot breakfast combo.

I think the write up of your hotel was misleading, we were led to believe there was a swimming pool on the roof.
We were shocked to discover that it really was only a small pool-something like a hot tub to look at- & freezing cold!
Breakfast was very good, but at no time afterwards could we get anything to eat or drink until 4pm, up at the POOL bar!!
Apart from this we had a lovely week in the sun.
By the way , the hotel is in a great part of Alicante, the beach, bars & shops were only a few steps away.

The hotel was extremely clean and spacious, the breakfast was fantastic and the staff could not be more helpful with diatry requirements.

The only thing I would take into consideration when booking this hotel is that the pool is not quite as it looks on the photos, when we went up in the evening there were resturant tables right up against the pool edge and it would have been very uncomfortable going into the pool.

If you are not fussed about having a pool this hotel is perfect, clean, quiet, great food and brilliant location!

A lovely well kept hotel, spacious rooms all of which are well equipped and spotlessly clean.
As for location 2 min walk to beach, bus stop C6 to airport, restaurants etc.
Used the roof top terrace late afternoon, relaxing and a sun trap.
Breakfast perhaps is more suited to European tastes, cereals, coffee, cold meats and toast all plentiful. If you’re looking for something more substantial then perhaps not for you.
Overal highly recommended and will definitely stay again.

Just returned from a short break in Alicante. The hotel is perfectly located to explore the city. Unfortunately the Top \"chill\" floor was under renovation, so the high rise bar was out of service. We were still able to access and take in the fantastic view of the Santa Barbara castle. The most commendable part of the stay, are the staff. The reception staff were always, pleasant and welcoming. Nothing was too much trouble for the 3 that interacted with. From restaurant recommendations and city guides through to researching and booking a wine tasting and tapas event. 10 out of 10

We stayed here in February for 7 days. The rooftop was closed all week (we had to request to go up and sit which was met with unhappy responses, even on not windy days), the pool was closed (out of season I guess, however it was no larger than a bathtub anyway, and we slept terribly the entire week due to constant noise inside and out. The room was nice, but the shower leaked all over floor everytime we used it and we had constant running water above us when the loos and showers were operating in other rooms, 24/7 keeping us awake. What a lovely sound to hear in the night of your neighbours above flushing the loo and the gushing water going across your ceiling! We were looking forward to staying here after the reviews but very dissapointed for what we paid and expected. Staff were not bothered about our experience and never asked when we checked out.

Great location - close to the beach and the port. The view of the castle was fantastic from the high bar (you can see the hotel from the top of the castle). Staff were fantastic and approachable. Not far from multiple restaurants and cafes. Nearby art gallery was nice to look around and free entry. Clean hotel and water available on every floor was a good touch. Would stay again.

Staying at Odyssey Rooms was a real pleasure. The location couldn’t be better—just a short walk to the beach and also really close to Alicante’s old town, which made it easy to explore, grab some tapas, and enjoy the historic streets.

The room itself was spotless, simple but very comfortable, and you could tell they take good care of the place. What stood out the most, though, was the staff: super friendly, welcoming, and always open to share a tip or two about what to do around the city.

Overall, it’s a perfect spot if you’re looking for a clean, well-located stay with a relaxed and friendly vibe.

This hotel was fabulous spotlessly clean, staff were lovely and attentive. Situated in the heart of everything you could possibly need, within walking distance to the beach, old town, bars and restaurants. Could not fault anything about the Odyssey Rooms.
One small gripe they definitely need 3 staff on 7 days a week at breakfast. Felt so sorry for the two staff who were run ragged, there were 3 staff but on their days off left only two to cook, replenish, clear tables and wash up. This left people having to wait for food to be replenished and tables cleared causing angry guests. They did a fantastic job and kept smiling throughout.

The breakfast did not have much variety for vegetarians and every time a dish was finished it was not always filled up especially the salad which did not get filled even after others came down. The coffee was not great at all. We loved the property itself and its location and staff were friendly. Close to the beach and restaurants. Bed was very comfortable. Would definitely stay again at the property just not breakfast.

Lovely modern property with beautiful views from the terrace of the castle. I would highly recommend this hotel, staff are friendly and welcoming and happy to help.

Roof top bar brings life and buzzing atmosphere without invading your hotel privacy and location is excellent and short distance to the beach.

Not what I hoped or expected!!

Great location; however, the air conditioning didn’t work well. It was so hot we could not sleep well. The terrace in our room was exposed to the rooftop bar, so it was awkward being outside in the balcony. The shower didn’t have a door so water splashed every time.
I liked that it had a laundry area.

I enjoyed my stay. Recently renovated and impeccably clean. Breakfast was good . the staff were nice and very obliging. It is located in the city centre close to bus stop of airport bus. Just be aware only certain rooms have access to the rooftop pool.

What a wonderful relaxing stay. We had a 3 bed, 2 room superior appartment with a terrace on the top floor. Considering it looked out onto the street and was below the rooftop bar which was busy at the weekend, when the doors were closed we did not hear a sound. It was so quiet! The plunge pool was needed during the heat of the day and had an amazing view of the castle. It was so convenient for shops including a coffee shop and convenience shop two minutes away. The beach was just around the corner and the main streets were a five minute walk. The staff were so friendly and unsually for an apartment it was cleaned every day. The apartment had air conditioning throughout and great wifi. I cannot recommend this place enough. Thankyou!
