The room smelt bad. The toilet and the bathroom smelt awful and the smell went throughout the apartment and stayed for the duration of our stay. A drain flush wouldnt go astray. The main bedroom TV is dated and we couldnt connect the tvs to the internet. Previous guests hair clips were left behind on the ground next to one of the beds and wasnt cleaned up. Toilet cleaning left a lot to be desired. Beds were reasonably comfortable but would probably stay somewhere else next time.

I had to cancel my reservation as My brother had got admitted to hospital. I emailed the property as I thought may be able to re -book the room. Requesting partial refund or change dates. The just gave me a one liner no refund policy. Pretty rude and abrasive. Will never book again. I noted they charged my account the day I booked. Also pretty rude. The venue was easily located but the parking was very limited

Hated the very slippery dangerous bathroom floor when it was wet, which was after a shower. Water flowed right across the room. It needs reconstruction. It's deadly for older people. Had to use a chair in the bathroom to hold on to and use in other ways. Hated the tiny shelf in the bathroom, and smashed a cup trying to wash it. There was no yoaster or hairdryer.

Ascot Inn is not at Ascot, 20 minute walk from the Ascot train station, but it is directly opposite Doomben station. Why not let interstate visitors know this or at least put it on your website. No food facilities on site, had to walk a long way to shopping centre to get a meal. Very impersonal, pick up and drop key from a box on the corner.
