Great place. Where there for 6 nights with the family. The room/house was located near ocean. Great view.

Very clean. Staff were so friendly and helpful.

The hotel is located at the quiet side of Phi Phi. Very nice white sand beach with few people.

The hotel has also free activities such as kayakkibg and water snorkling, which is a plus.

You can also use an app to communicate and book stuff. The food was great. So was the breakfast.

Fitness room is good too.

Room clraning as much as you need, several times a day. They also had a free buggy transport around the hotel in case of rain or if you are too tired to walk.

Everything eas great. Things are a bit on the pricy side, but you get what you pay for.

Definitley recommanded if you like peace and quiet and perfect sand/oceanview.

Other than the gym feeling a bit outdated, everything else was great. One thing to keep in mind is the tide level upon arrival — if the tide is low, the boat may not be able to get close to the dock, so you might need to walk a short distance to the hotel. Not a major issue, just something to be aware of.

We had a very nice stay at SAii. The property is beautiful and peaceful with a beautiful beach, nearby coral reefs, lovely tropical plants. The upgrade to the ocean front bungalow was awesome. We had our own covered porch with clothes stand to dry clothes. The outdoor shower was awesome! The AC worked well. Internet over the entire property worked. The food was thoroughly great. Breakfast was high quality. Great food at the 3 restaurants. We had a Thai dinner up the hill that was some of the best Thai food I’ve had in Thailand (I live here). Overall the place is wonderful. My only real complaint is the activities were too expensive. Not because I can’t afford them but because the other guests didn’t sign up for them. Many of the ones I signed up for were cancelled for lack of participation. What’s the point? Lower the price to a little above cost so that you actually offer something to your guests.
I will stay there again. Looking forward to it.

Beautiful property and excellent beach! Staff are amazing and the property is clean. They had a buggy cart for guests as needed. The tide goes out very far as a heads up, so the beach was not always able to swim. But lots of pool chairs so we had no issues. This is a 5 star place for sure! Also there are lots of local food places for very cheap just behind the resort.

The private beach was nice. We had dinner at the hotel restaurant and it was awful. The frozen fish tasted and very awful fried rice.
Breakfast was alright but bread was not so fresh. Staff were a bit confused with booking and checking information. Staff were not very nice and courteous on our arrival. Also, it was a bit expensive costed us around 700 AUD a night for one small room. Also the air con was blowing in my face and we got a headache each morning. The set up could be better.

A very relaxing stay at a great location. We went together with my partner, and really enjoyed our time there. The nature there is absolutely beautiful, a lot of things to do around the island as well. The only downsides - the cleaning is quite slow and doesn't happen until the later half of the day, limited water supply in the room, and the food is a bit overpriced relative to the surrounding cafes in the village.

The staff was superb. The best part of our stay, so helpful, welcoming & genuinely happy we were there. The resort itself is beautiful - rooms are great and staff were so helpful and friendly. Pool area was also lovely and we didn’t use it but private beach was big. Weather was unfortunately very poor while we were there and there wasn’t really anything to do, felt quite claustrophobic as when the waves were bad you didn’t even want to get a boat to the main town on Phi Phi. There’s nothing the hotel can do about this but just something to be aware of.

O staff sempre muito atencioso.
Porém, os serviços de passeio do hotel, quando você faz a reserva de um long tail boat privado não é um barco diferenciado e nem oferece água, mesmo em passeios longos, como os que fizemos que foram de 6h de duração.

The facility was great and it was beautiful and it did offer a number of amenities but I will be honest the service wasn’t the greatest. I felt as if as a paying customer I was constantly being treated like I was a burden for asking for things like “extending my say” I don’t want to generalize and say it was all the workers there was a man named “Chan” who had a very passive aggressive attitude with me and other people there. I understand that it’s a 5 star resort and it is on the pricier side but it constantly felt like they were also trying to capitalize on the necessities you’ll need because it is on an isolated island. (Word of advice go to the local village for things like pharmacy needs, cosmetic and booking boats and excursions it’s 10 times cheaper.) At the resort they will do things like charge nearly 30$ for a bottle of sunscreen at the gift shop because they know you’ll need it. Going back to this I tried to extend my stay with them and Chan told me I was going to have to pay double the original price if I wanted to stay another night I quickly went online and saw that it was half the price that he quoted and just immediately felt quite put off and like he was doing whatever possible to milk us financially when we are already being generous and willing customers. I was in a group of four people and everyone in my group had stomach issues after eating at the breakfast buffet so that was a problem as well. We were also not told that on the resort is a mosque and you

SAii Phi Phi Island Village delivered a truly brilliant stay for us! While the property is huge, the buggy service is prompt and spot-on, taking any hassle out of navigating the beautiful grounds.

A major highlight was booking the trip to Maya Bay through the activities centre. The entire experience was seamless, and the staff provided truly exceptional service—it was, without a doubt, one of the best excursions we've ever taken from a hotel.

For dinner, the Ruan Thai restaurant is a non-negotiable must-try. The food and atmosphere are absolutely outstanding. We were impressed with every aspect of our holiday and will definitely be returning to SAii Phi Phi!

Saii phi phi truly felt like paradise. We stayed here for 2 nights to relax. The staff were so friendly.

They have 2 pools normally but 1 of them was under maintenance which was unfortunate. It made the 1 pool very busy and hard to get a lounging chair.

We ate at ruan and api restaurant. Both places were great. Ruan is in the forest so there was a high chance for bug bites. The restaurant was also very far from our villa and the staff was happy to call buggy service which was such a nice treat!

Getting to the resort was a bit of work and I highly recommend you wear sandals because getting on and off the long boat depended on whether or not its high or low tide. You might have to walk out further and into the water.

I can confirm I will never ever come back here again !!! All staff want to do is fleece you out of extra money, everything is way over priced !! Somehow Expedia had messed my booking up and put my child as 3 and not 15. So, was made to pay extra for that not quite sure why because in my eyes 3 people is 3 people regardless of age ??? Even with Expedia ringing them and confirming it was a mix up on their site I was still billed.

Then the room we had was absolutely covered in tiny little bugs and I mean covered. The aircon was shocking and we were all unable to sleep due to the heat. To top it off no internet all night!! Night staff unable to sort it. My wife has also been up all night with sickness and diarrhoea and the only thing she had to eat was the carbonara made at the hotel restaurant.

Then the final straw for me is the maid just walking into our room at 9.45am when check out was 11am. Nesting in mind we had all been awake all night so we’re fast asleep. She didn’t even knock just let herself in and thought a sawadi kaa was acceptable.

Many better hotels on phi phi island and for a fraction of the cost.

Outstanding Service Despite Weather and Renovations

We recently stayed at SAii Phi Phi and were genuinely impressed by the experience, even with ongoing renovations and some terrible weather during our visit. The hotel staff went above and beyond to ensure we were comfortable and well looked after – always warm, helpful, and incredibly accommodating.

We were given a free room upgrade on arrival, which was a lovely surprise and made a real difference to our stay. The facilities that were available were well maintained, and the food throughout the resort was fresh, varied, and consistently excellent.

What truly stood out were the activities and island tours organised by the hotel – professional, well-run, and a fantastic way to make the most of our time despite the weather. Every interaction with the team felt personal and genuine, with staff doing everything they could to create a memorable stay.

Renovations are always temporary, but great service leaves a lasting impression – and SAii Phi Phi delivered that in spades. We’ll definitely return when the works are complete. Highly recommended.

Fantastic picturesque location

Fantastic picturesque location away from the main strip. If you want a remote island feel location then this is ideal. However only disadvantage was the evening food options. I Didn’t feel it catered well for westerners and even the eastern options were poor. Buffet breakfast was great though. Another disadvantage was that you had to pay to use kayaks/paddle boards, whereas most 5star hotels these are free to use. Even though I struggled with the food the location and scenery is worth it and I will definitely be returning.

Too expensive to go again.

Expensive!!! The only way to get there is by boat!! They charge 300 per person each way. We think that should be included. It’s a big resort. Our room was way at the back but close to the village road.

The buffet is $30 US per person and drinks are around $10 each.

The village in behind is much more reasonable and we ate at the Pad Thai restaurant and it was excellent!!

The beach is quite nice and the pools are clean.

Maya beach is only a look at beach no swimming. And you pay 400 Baht each to see it on top of the boat price. This is not the hotel’s problem but a waste of time unless you just want an expensive picture.

Beautiful location but underwhelming property

While we enjoyed our villa (which was beautifully updated and very comfortable) we found that the resort amenities (including the fun pool, the bathrooms by both pools and the lobby, and the lounge ) to be outdated. The landscaping is also in bad shape, patchy, and people have created their own paths across a lot of the areas. The staff is kind and friendly but they lack training: even when there were multiple people at the bar, we had to call them to ask for drinks. The coffee shop was also unattended and not set up at 7:45 in the morning and this happened multiple times. Twice I also had to ask for our villa to be cleaned because it was 3pm and the staff had not passed by to make our beds and refill our water. Lastly, the dock at the resort is not appropriate for a resort that advertises itself as luxury. The resort facilities need to be renovated and staff needs to be trained to vastly improve the experience. The saving grace for the property are the villas and the views.

We had a lovely stay! The hotel is beautiful and the location is stunning! Easy to walk to village behind resort for lovely restaurants and shops and cheaper trips. Breakfast was delicious! We did a trip organised by the hotel and we really enjoyed it - cheaper trips available but we were travelling with a child so wanted to be as safe as possible. Check in and check out are very busy times - but very well organised! We used the Saii’s own speed boat to get there and back and it was a great service! The mosquitos were bad - made worse probably by the time of year and the rain! There is a mosquito plug-in in the room but you have to find it. Also, another guest told me nets are available on request. The only thing I think that lets it down is the service around the pool areas. There wasn’t an obvious place to get fresh towels (they were provide to the room on request). There were paces to get towels - we just didn’t spot them and they weren’t manned so to speak. The pool bar often didn’t have staff to serve you. They would come over from Tom Yams upon request and if available. Staff very friendly and helpful!

It’s a lovely resort with two great swimming pools—one of which is perfect for kids and they really enjoyed it. The only downside is that it’s a bit far from the main island, so getting there requires a long-tail boat ride.

SAii is a stunning and beautiful resort. It was everything we wished for and I would thoroughly recommend. The whole place is so pretty, peaceful and very high standards. The food options were plenty and everything we were served was delicious. The rooms are large, well maintained and very clean . We couldn’t fault anything and are very pleased to have stayed at such a beautiful resort.

This resort has the most spectacular beach. Bungalows are beautifully traditional but modern. Service was fast. I am well travelled and this was by far the most beautiful resort I have stayed.

Beautiful property, quiet and away from the hustle and bustle but close enough to enjoy all the area has to offer!

Unique place right on the beautiful beach, the tide does go right out but this adds to the fun! Great little village within 5 mins walk for fantastic food a lot cheaper than the hotel! Boat trips are so much cheaper booked through a local too.the rooms are amazing & the staff are attentive however I’m not sure the rooms are cleaned properly as we found clumps of hair & nails that was not ours throughout our stay! Pool Bar staff are polite & pool was lovely in the heat. Overall an amazing place to stay on phi phi definitely a slice of paradise 😍

Perfect 5 star resort on pristine white sand beach

Amazing stay here at this beautiful and luxurious 5 star resort. Pancake at the spa took great care of me and I felt so relaxed after the treatment. Crystal clear water and white sand await you here. The pools were great as well especially the fun pool. The staff were all very friendly and very attentive. The breakfast was amazing each morning with so many great options to choose from. Our villa was literally brand new and so clean and modern. AC worked great which is a must during the heat experienced here. If you’re thinking of visiting Phi Phi and want to stay on the island for a few nights this is the place to go for sure! Can’t say enough good things about this place as it was truly magical. If I ever get the chance to return I will most definitely stay here again!
