Great location in downtown Toronto. I was suprised how good the hotel was. The breakfast was basic but considering I didn't book for it to be included there are absolutely no complaints. The staff were all Incredibly helpful and I was also suprised by the quality of the gym. it didn't have cable machines but seemed to have everything else including sufficient weights and a treadmill.

Location was close to downtown. The hotel was very clean and staff are extremely helpful. The only downside, which I know can't be avoided, was that renovations were occurring which added a bit of noise and slowed down the elevators as many people were accessing them. But, that's how improvments are made so made do. I would certainly stay again!

Had to pay for parking. While selecting the hotel, it said $189.00 per night. We were charged $400.00 per night. There was construction on the premises and difficult to navigate.

Hotel was fairly clean and the staff were very friendly. Our room was very clean and the bed was comfortable. The were remodeling out side and unsightly. The breakfast and morning coffee were great. We enjoyed staying in this hotel.

Excellent place to stay if you are on vacation as it is in Old Town and very close to downtown Toronto. Very nice and helpful staff. The AC was broken in the lobby during our stay and they were wait for parts from Japan to fix so it was warm and humid during breakfast but overall I would recommend.

When we arriving the property is under construction, the inside is very dusty and hot. The rooms were clean however the air condition made so much noice when it’s on it was hard to sleep. The picture shows bar, restaurant etc and none is there nor nearby. You are far from downtown area. I couldn’t eat breakfast because it was to hot and dusty, the garage was full of the hotels furniture it was absolutely disgusting. I wouldn’t recommend

The HVAC in the room was either blasting cold air or nothing with no ability to control the output.

Excellent location , walking distance to many of sights, shops and plenty of choice for bars & restaurants. Hotel was being renovated during our stay but there was zero impact on us as guests. Room really well organised with everything you need, including lots of little storage areas for all those bits I travel with. Breakfast was great, yes it was the same every day but if you want a bigger breakfast selection you probably need to book a 5 Star. Staff really helpful and friendly-nothing too much trouble . Only down side was Really Noisey aircon -bring ear plugs! And if being picky, pillows could have been better. Overall we enjoyed it and would definitely stay again in any future trip to Toronto

A special thank you to the Executive Housekeeper, Vaibhav Tulsiani, who was absolutely outstanding. They went above and beyond to help me locate a lost item and assist with arranging its shipment. Their communication was clear, prompt, and incredibly helpful throughout the entire process. Most importantly, they were exceptionally kind, responsive, and genuinely committed to providing excellent customer service.
Experiences like this make a lasting impression, and I truly appreciate the extra effort that was made on my behalf. I recommend this hotel and would gladly stay here again.

Check in - amazing - the staff were so helpful - wish I had got their names as such a great experience and so friendly when passing.

Room was great with big comfy bed, good view (could see CN Tower from our room on 4th floor) and good wifi.

Location - perfect, short walk to St Lawrence Market, Hockey Hall of Fame, Eaton Centre. Lots of bars, resturants, etc near by.

Breakfast - which was included had plenty of choice and lots of seating areas. There was tea and coffee available all day free of charge.

If I had to give a negative it would just be that the hallway to room needed a little TLC - but who spends anytime in the hallway?

Would highly recommend this hotel.

Bed was comfortable. 3 elevators so never had to wait long. Breakfast was standard hotel buffet.

SSSOOOO noisy, could hear every cough, sneeze, toilet seat drop, room door closing.

The fire alarm at 3am wasn’t great but the lack of organized evacuation was probably the most concerning part of our stay. No leadership, no communication, just flashing lights and alarm bells. The guests were left to their own devices to know where to go. After 20 minutes in the rainy parking lot everyone just started going back in because the alarms had stopped. Halfway up the stairwell the alarms went off again. Some kept going, most stayed put for a few more minutes before proceeding to their rooms. The room across from us was just evacuating their rooms when we were going back into ours. The fire department made an announcement over the intercom 10 minutes later that the emergency was over. Never heard anything from hotel staff in the moment or the next day. Disappointing.

I can tell that normally, this would be a quality and reliable, well priced place. It was a bit unnerving with the construction going on at the site. The listing on Expedia made no mention, but they immediately blasted a message flagging this post-purchase (after it was too late to cancel). Because this was for an overnight work trip, no real issue. But it was a bit yucky in the hallways, aesthetically only (it was otherwise vacuumed etc.), and it was legit noisy through the night due to maybe exposed plumbing or elevator sound that normally would not be heard. The construction activity itself was not invasive nor particularly noisy. The breakfast buffet was very well done. The found was above satisfactory, and clean, fresh and well maintained by staff. I would not hesitate to return in similar circumstances. Thanks for having me.

Both myself and my husband are celiac and we asked at front staff and they said we had to talk to the breakfast person and we couldn’t find one so no breakfast for us. Next morning we talked to a breakfast person and he looked at us like a deer in the headlights. Oh he said all he had was gluten free bread. So we grabbed a banana. Was very disappointed and will not be going back to the hotel. On a positive note it is close to downtown.

The staff was respectful but not super warm either. You get what you pay for, and at such a low price (less than 300$) don’t expect big smiles when you walk in. I wasn't able to experience the breakfast as hours to get breakfast don’t extend past 9:30am. The heater and ac were very noisy so I had to turn it off to sleep. A water fountain is not accessible on every floor, you have to go down to the lobby every time. My room was close to the laundry room, so I could hear the washer and dryer going when I was in my room. The hotel is located in a safe area. Every where that I needed to go was in walking distance: Eaton Center Mall, Massey Hall, St-Lawrence Market, Union Station, that was a plus.

All in all very good stay but housekeeping did not change the sheet as I noticed the same stain two days in a row. It was resolved when prompted by our great housekeeping person named Irma. She was a genuine gem. Breakfast was plentiful and good variety. AC was strong in the room. Would definitely come back.

Hotel was undergoing renovations so difficult to rate. That said my room was comfortable and clean, although there were a couple of small issues in the room that got sorted promptly. Air conditioners in the room were very noisy and would wake you when they cut in. Likewise the fridge in the room was very noisy and the compressor kept cutting in approximately every 30 minutes. These need to be replaced with more modern silent units.

We’d be able to park our car get into our room and head off to the Blue Jays game and as we are walking out, they said go Jays. We also met the cleaning staff and she couldn’t have been lovelier and the rooms were so clean.

Staff was amazing and I don't want to give a poor review but I feel like it is important to tell people what happened while there. First of all the hotel is under renovations. I was not made aware until we arrived and saw it. Breakfast was good! The staff especially the manager are great and accommodating. The worst part of our trip was the parking. Within the first night of our stay my car was heavily vandalized in their \"Secure\" key opening garage that is underground. This is ran by Indigo parking company and they are wretched people to talk to. The garage door stays open for 55-60 seconds every time it opens. Also you don't need a key to get into the garage from inside the hotel, but you do need a key to drive in on the outside. My car had no valuables inside. I was parked in the first spot between a wall and another car. Whoever did the vandalism had intention to just hit my car and break things because they didn't take the few dollars I had in the middle console, or the bottle of medicine (antibiotics) or the Nike shoes and hoodie that were in a bag. They just beat my car with metal rebar and broke 2 windows out of the car. Now I know \"you park at your own risk\"....but I travel quite a bit and I am in large cities on a regular basis and I HAVE NEVER HAD ANYTHING HAPPEN TO MY CAR. Especially parking underground attached to the hotel in a secure garage....This has become a nightmare and ruined part of the trip.

Clean environment. Amazing and cordial staff. Quick turnaround to resolve our AC issue of not cooling the room. Our only complaint is that the water pressure in the shower was abysmal. Strange cos the sink’s water pressure is great while that of the shower was the opposite. Our shower experience was frustrating but overall, we enjoyed our stay here. We loved the complimentary breakfast. The fitness centre is small but we were able to get our workouts in.

Breakfast was good,lots of options.Gym was tiny,not a variety.No pool.Our room was small.On our floor the mounting on the wall where it meets the floor was peeling off,there was banging noises in the morning.When cheking in,1staff was a bit rude,others noticed this as well.Housekeeping upstairs welcomed us politely and wished us a good stay.She was very nice and made us feel welcomed,after the not so good check in.The next morning there was youth boys running around, slamming doors,swearing and laughing really loudly in the hallways.It seemed like they were standing in our room,it was so loud.I finally got up around 830am to tell them to keep it down.This noise was going on for more than an hour before I finally got up to tell them.I phoned front desk to let them know.This was very disappointing as it was the last night of our vacation and this is how it ended. Without restfull sleep in the morning and its what we had paid for.It was very inappropriate behavior from the youth and should not have happened.Why wasn't there no sound barrier in the rooms?Upon checking out,I spoke to the front desk about the same issue and the staff told me,he was sorry that this happened and told me that the youth group had checked out now. Gave us 2 waters and 2bags of chips.We had stored our luggage at the hotel,when we came to retrieve it later that afternoon,the youth were all still there. The staff lied to us.Another guest saw them throw a remote from the floors above???

Pro: the staff were really helpful and friendly also asked for a late check out and got it - Breakfast was great with all the standard fare including breakfast - the room itself was well appointed as I expect from a Holiday inn
Con: Really really noisy - street noise (sirens blaring) and hallway noise - heavy doors crashing - I do expect a level of noise but this was excessive - Also must have been a hockey tournament or something with lots of screaming teens running around and smashing doors closing - was rough - they are also doing reno's so I occasionally heard drilling - didnt love the neighborhood - my room had a view of the shelter across the street - overall this was a very mixed experience

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel in Toronto. The rooms were very clean and comfortable, which made it easy to relax after a long journey. We were especially grateful for the early check-in, as it made a huge difference after an all-night flight.

The breakfast was enjoyable with a good variety of options, and the staff truly stood out — they were friendly, welcoming, and very accommodating throughout our stay.

Overall, it was a great experience, and I would definitely recommend this hotel to others visiting Toronto.
