Hotel is pretty from the outside, but dated and grimy in the rooms themselves. They offered no extras as far as bottled water in the rooms, breakfast was extra. The hotel is honestly just in a prime location for walking to major attractions. Not a great hotel for kids - its literally a place to lay your head. I stayed in another hotel just days later in another province; the hotel was 1/4 the price (no exaggeration) and all extras were included, and this hotel was recently renovated.

We’ve really enjoyed our stay our room was upgraded so we had two separate rooms which contained two TVs and we found being on the 12th floor was very quiet and we were able to get a good sleep. If you’re looking for a luxurious bathtub, then you might want to find a different room back on the other hand. There is a hot tub on the 22nd floor and some exercise equipment that you would probably enjoy if you get up early before you check out thoroughly enjoyed our stay thank you.

A large window in our first room the seal was broken and you could not see out at all. The manager came to see it promptly but I can't imagine this was the first they knew of it. The second room we went to the stopper for the tub was broken. The chicken sausages for the breakfast were undercooked, the eggs were wet in texture and the thin pancakes in the warmer all the edges were hard.

The hotel is in the heart of downtown toronto so there are plenty of things and amenities to explore. One issue I have had was the toilet in the morning does not refill water in its own tank (plumbing issue?) so once you flush, that's that.

It started out bad as the check in person was not very nice. She was just herding us through and we were the only people there. I had to remind her to give us a bottle of wine. It's too bad as we have always had a nice welcome there in the past.

Everything else is perfect about this place. Room, location, friendly cleaning staff, and now a great breakfast is available. I highly recommend it!

The room would get soo cold and then soo hot. It was strange. We also can hear the room next to us. It sounded like they were in our bathroom having a conversation and they weren't. It felt strange that when we sneeze they would make a comments. Just right uncomfortable.

This is our second time at the hotel. It is always very clean, nice smelling & the staff are great. There was a slight issue with the free breakfast for VIP members that took a little while to resolve but the staff were courteous.

First the negative: The breakfast was not good. Powdered scrambled eggs were difficult to eat; the fruit bowl was almost bare. The bacon was very good - not greasy, and very tasty. However:
Everything else about our Valentine weekend visit was exceptionally good: the room was clean and all amenities worked. ( It would have been nice to have a TV guide to let us know what was on the various channels. ) But the big issue was the staff. They were all very friendly and helpful. Smiles everywhere. SERVICE IS EVERYTHING ! We look forward to our next stay.

The only small problem is our room faces to the busy road, a bit noisy and I have problem to sleep with some noise. I will mention that before I book the room next time.
