The room was large and the view and private pool was very good. The bed wasn't very comfortable and the linens and towels were very basic. The food at breakfast and dinner was OK and reasonably priced. There were insufficient loungers by the sandy beach, others were available but it was rocky and you couldn't easily swim in the sea. Whilst there were plenty of restaurants, supermarkets and spas in the nearby village, it was a challenge to get any grab drivers to come to the hotel and you could easily wait 30mins and usually this was only because someone had been dropped off. The walk to the village was about 1.2km, but it is a little up and down and when the temperature is about 37c it isn't great. The resort has a number of golf carts which they could have used to have a regular shuttle service for guests or even charge for the service, but they restrict your use of these vehicles to your day of arrival & departure only and within the hotel area. If I return to Phu Quoc I will choose a more convenient location.

I loved this property. As a solo female traveler, I felt very comfortable and safe. The Ocean Front Villa was peaceful and embodied light and relaxation. The spa was excellent and fulfilling. I even spotted monkeys while looking out at the water during breakfast. I highly recommend this place!

It was a perfect stay for my partner and myself. Greeted by the receptionist and whom politely attended us during the check in process.

Selected Panoramic Room, the room is very spacious and hearty breakfast served in the morning. I am impressed with the cleanliness at Sea Sense Resort. There are gardeners around as well to ensure the resort is well taken care of!

Definitely a good selection if you’re looking into a relaxing trip while in PQ.

The Sea Sense Resort is a beautiful location that is very secluded. It is a great place for a romantic getaway and/or Family location. I highly recommend that if you can spring for the rooms with the private pool. It is worth it. As they promote the resort is a place to get in touch with your senses I just wish they would have had facilitated activities like meditation, yoga, health clinics, etc. the place is perfect for that.

Lovely property right on the beach but the noise from insects behind our room kept us awake at night unfortunately. Need to have a proper window in the bathroom to stop the noise instead of a bug screen.
Room a good size and great view but not so clean under the beds. We didn’t remember to ask them to clean but the next day it was done so maybe just a one off issue.
Pool needs the tiles replacing but overall a nice place to chill during the day.

The only few good things about the resort was we booked the room with the private infinity pool & had a beautiful outlook & breakfast was pretty good.

The room was okay however the toilet leaked everywhere every time it was flushed & it smelt. The shower leaked, the rain shower head didn’t work at all & the hand held shower device was broken & sat at its lowest point in a crooked position.

The Resturant manager had very poor English & even worse service. His colleagues made up for his bad service & were the ones that apologised for service, he just ignored us. If you don’t go to dinner before 6pm you will have long waits (if) many people dinning. The food is average & excuses used from restaurant manager like “it’s to late, not available now” when we went to order on different occasions a smoothie, a pizza or an ice cream sundae, all things that are very easy to make & you don’t run out of?!

Cleaning staff were friendly but the bathroom floor was dirty every day, I’d clean up leaking water from toilet & floor was black. The did bring fresh towels daily & beach towels too with was good.

Check in & check out service was very average compare to several other places we stayed.

Went above and beyond. Seriously.

It was great. The resort is beautiful, I recommend reserving one of the newer suites. It is a jungle, so be prepared. We had an accident and had to go to the ER for urgent care and the staff stayed with us at the hospital for over 6 hours. They drove us wherever we needed to go including the pharmacy. They are kind and very helpful.

Great location, amazing views, clean and stylish air conditioned rooms. Highly recommended! We stayed in an oceanfront room and loved having the beach steps from our porch. The resort could do better in terms of providing water coolers to fill reusable bottles from, but they do provide one small bottle per person per day and you can purchase more. From an environmental perspective, it’s not ideal, but the bathroom amenities are free of single-use plastic—great since plastic waste is a big problem on the island. The small gym had all the basics for a quick workout, and the free loaner bikes were useful for cycling to Ong Lan beach nearby, or to grab a bite down the road. Staff are friendly, gracious and helpful. We will be back next year for sure!

Really on the beach. The villas are attractive and well maintained. Extremely comfortable beds. Excellent swimming pool that's also really close to the beach. The beach is good for children and gentle dips if you're older. Lovely staff who go out of their way to meet guests' needs.

Wonderful, remote setting, right on the beach

Sea Sense is truly Sea Sense. It’s on Ong Lang beach so away from the hustle and bustle of Dong Dong and Long Beach. So that means if you want to go to those places you need to get a shuttle or taxi. We didn’t we arrived and relaxed for the whole 4 days.
We had a beachfront Villa, it was the best, don’t bother booking anything else- except the private pool villas! It was right on the sand and you can never get sick of looking and listening to the ocean. Our villa was always spotless and well serviced.
The resort is good. Nice pool, beach bar and private beach. The beach is rugged, still got the coconut trees and the water is the perfect temp! The staff do struggle to understand you and the cocktails are a little amateur. Communication breakdown for our airport pick up so we had to get a taxi. We were told the shuttle into town wasn’t going cause it was low season, despite it being just after Easter. The chess pieces are all broken. We ate at the restaurant twice and while the setting is great and food good, the service is annoying and we got the wrong food and drinks more than once. Highly recommend walking along the beach to the 2 Mango Bay restaurants. They are outstanding and same heightened price.
I recommmed to stay here. The villas are great, superb breakfast and relaxing stay. Just so you know the resort needs a little polishing which is more a management issue than staff!

The Sea Sense Resort is fantastic! We stayed the end of December through New Years. The staff are extremely supportive and informative as to how to best enjoy Phu Quoc. The New Years party was fabulous- Great band, Vietnamese tradition, great food, and great scenery. We had the room with our own pool and view of the nightly sunsets over the sea! You can snorkel off the beach, kayak, or just hang out and enjoy the view. Our family will be coming back and we strongly recommend the resort.

this is a great resort on a lovely private beach. the Beachfront Villas are the rooms to stay in. Spacious, private, good air circulation and a fantastic view. The staff are friendly and helpful but there is a problem with management. There simply aren't enough staff who can communicate in English. This may not seem necessary at a resort in Vietnam, but the clientele are largely Swedish, German, French, English with some North Americans. Everyone communicates in English and when the staff can not understand your request or problem this exacerbates a situation and makes a small problem, a large one. For example, we called to ask how to lower the speed on the overhead fan. A simple request but the staff could not understand what we were asking and after attempting many different ways to communicate the problem, i just retreated in frustration. We spend a fair amount of time scouring the room for a switch and finally found one behind a small lamp table, out of the way and turned the fan down. Simple problem that became frustrating one. We had a number of issues like this. Two staff who really did stand out are Gabby, a Lithuanian who is fluent in English and was a great help,, and Peter, a local who was also fluent in English and had a great sense of humour and responsibility towards the hotel. The hotel needs more staff like them.

Even with the communication issues, we would still highly recommend this resort because all the good outweighed the bad.

Great hotel right on the beach

Had a very warm welcome by Peter (English name for Thuy?sp?) with the hotel shuttle. We much appreciated that he continued to assist us throughout our stay. We had a few small, easily solvable problems after arrival but overall it was a lovely relaxing resort right on the beach. The quality of the food was good but service was sometimes slow. Some of the lower-level staff didn't seem to have an understanding of guest service. For example, when delivering something to the room they simply walked in on the guest without knocking. After mentioning this to Gabby in guest services this problem was solved. One problem, which wasn't the resorts fault, was that many guests smoked and were slovenly leaving cigarette butts on the beach and smoking in the restaurants. Staff did try to clean up after these boors but it was difficult.
All in all it was a lovely resort which I'd highly recommend.

The location of this hotel is approx 9kms from the town centre so appears to be rather isolated. however once having explored more of the island, it is actually not as isolated as it first seems. There is not a lot to do in the town centre as it is very similar to other smallish towns in Vietnam - all about commercialism and fishing. It is easy enough to get a taxi to/from town when required. The complex is rather spread out over the property but there is a golf cart to get around if required. The pool is divine and if you would like a change the beach is only a few steps away as well. The restaurant on site is expensive but the quality of food is very good. There are several local options nearby as alternatives. It is great if you are looking for a relaxing get away. Scooters can be hired as an alternative way to see the island. Overall a great experience.

Great location for a peaceful getaway

We just returned from a getaway. My sis in law needed peace away from kids with a hint of luxury. I needed to get offline from work. This was the perfect environment for that. The staff assisted in all our needs from arrival to checkout special mention to Mr Lam and Ms King. The breakfast is standard fair you would find at an SE Asia retreat. But Tian who greeted us everyday introduced us to breakfast soup which was delicious. We hope to visit again.

Scooter to rent just outside of the resort beside the security 150000 dongs for 24hrs. Few restaurants outside the resort within 30 mins walk. We ate everyday in BBQ place-fresh seafood and good meat. Everything prepared to order and very good prices.

This was a very nice hotel to stay at especially when we arrived and were greeted by Mr Lam at the front office that was so polite and knew exactly what he was doing and was such a pleasure to deal with on our 5 day stay. Beautiful experience

Would highly recommend this resort to anyone considering staying on Phu Quoc. My husband, daughter and I had the most relaxing 4 days together ever! We only left the resort once and that was to try the restaurant at Mango Bay for dinner.

We booked two bedrooms and we're delighted to find out when we arrived that they had given us two apartments with an adjoining door - pure luxury!

The staff are incredibly service oriented and only too helpful without being intrusive.

Quiet Hotel on the Beach

Stayed in the beachfront accommodation and it was very comfortable plus lovely and quiet. The swimming pool was fabulous, warm. very clean and well maintained. The staff were all very professional and friendly although communication was difficult at times due to our lack of proficiency in the Vietnamese language. This was our second visit and we would not hesitate to come back again.

Worst part of our vacation in Vietnam

We decided to book a fairly expensive hotel in order to relax and enjoy the beach view, hence we booked our accommodation with the Sea Sense and one of its beachfront villas.
Despite the price, we were surprised to discover that the shower facilities were dreadful; water was either too hot or too cold, but never in between. We informed the reception and they send someone to check the problem. The maintenance person did come and check the issue, confirmed there was a problem but did nothing to fix or even improve the situation. So for the whole 5 days of our stay, we struggled to even have a shower.
Furthermore, during our stay, we also encountered an issue with the air conditioning unit. The device was dripping water when it was on, which we didn’t realize on time and resulted in all our possessions getting wet. We again informed the reception about this and they did send someone that fixed that problem.
During the last night of our stay, we decided to dine at the hotel at the seafood buffet. The view and atmosphere at the restaurant were absolutely brilliant and the food was really nice. Too bad the service didn’t keep a standard. We picked the seafood we wanted to have from the demo as instructed and passed it to the cooks in order to prepare and cook it for us. Well, everything got mixed up. We never received what we initially ordered for and after the confusion, we ended up having some completely different plates which we never picked in the first place. Unacceptable!

Resort is very large and distances are challenging to walk. Beach is clean and big, but not easy access to ocean from all areas ( limited area for smooth access). Restaurant food was a disappointment compared to any other restaurants in the area or country. Internet works great all over and service is good as always in Vietnam. We would still recommend the resort beside this one Phu Quoc Eco resort for being the best in the area.

Paradise right next to the beach

This was our second stay at Sea Sense and it is like paradise. All rooms are right by the beach and face the sea. Since our last visit, a second restaurant has been added and the seafood buffet by the sea for TET was amazing, the new terrace over the beach is a touch of genius.
As before, the breakfast was superb. We used the free kayaks and had a hour out on the sea. You can order from the bar next to the infinity pool and eat on the beach.
Cant recommend this resort highly enough.

Well worth the extra for a beachfront villa. They are as close to the beach as you can get without being washed away by the tide. We loved our stay here and can not complain about the excellent service .
The restaurant food was ok - about the same as Mango bay resort but much cheaper
A short walk into the village or a meal at the resort next door means that there was plenty of choice over our 6 night stay. A great holiday

Staff seemed friendly but we later found out that their hands are very much tied by the dragon of a manager/owner they have-they do the best they can!;

Miles away from anything but we were happy with this as just wanted to relax after travelling for 2 weeks-cab was about 350,000 dong;
No welcome drink and were told to pay if we wanted any water-bit disappointing;
Couldn't check in 90 minutes early.

Far from the beach and pool, sea view but no access to beach as all rocks below. Definitely not 'bare steps' to the sea like advertised!!!
No four poster bed like in the pictures, bed was two singles which were pushed together which I hate;
Also no hammock which was pictured in our room ad too;
Room clean, spacious, nice enough but not as luxurious as I'd hoped.

Bath a bit grotty, needs some limescale remover on it and the hot tap has such low pressure that we managed to get a 3 inch bath in over an hour! - not impressed, no point paying for the upgraded room at all!

Staffs English is very basic so complaints are difficult.

Husband complained about the water issue and the chap came out and confirmed that's the best it gets - not good enough when we've paid £400 to stay here for 3 nights!

The manageress I can only describe as completely void of any kind of customer service ability. She is beyond rude and offered nothing in the way of recompense.

Go to Mango Bay instead-food and service is fab.

Great hotel if you are looking for a relaxing holiday away from the busy downtown. Right on the beach for relaxing and swimming, great pool, excellent staff who go out of their way to help you and lovely breakfast. The steep hill to get out of the resort may be challenging for some if you want to walk to local shops, we are middle aged and were fine but we walk regularly.

We've spent 3 lovely days of peace and quiet , away from the hustle and bustle of Ho Chi Minh.
Children had some fun by the pool and we enjoyed the cosy beach . Food was good and breakfast generous.
The rooms are big and a little basic in design, nevertheless comfortable and very tranquil. Steps between restaurants/beach/pool would make this resort not a first choice for people with little mobility. Staff very present and polite.

Amazing Phu Quoc resort!

Sea Sense resort was truly amazing! Our beachfront villa was perhaps the nicest hotel room I`ve ever been in. The staff was friendly and very helpful and the resort in general is beautiful. The beach is kept clean (unlike many other beaches in Phu Quoc I hear), and the pool is great as weel! Perhaps a bit far from the city, so expect to spend most of your time in the resort. We however walked the beach to have dinner at other resort restaurants close by. I would definitely recommend to everyone!

Peaceful and secluded location

We picked this hotel due to its location. Secluded and right on the beach. We wanted some peaceful time after the hustle and bustle of Ho Chi Minh City. It was our first time in Phu Quoc so we didn't know what to expect. The moment we arrived we were treated well. Our rooms (oceanfront villas) were perfect. Large and clean with great views. Everything we needed was provided. Dinner at the Sunset Restaurant was lovely. Food was good and we enjoyed a lighting show while we ate. Breakfast at the Sunrise had many choices and service was great. Mr. Diep was always responsive to our needs the entire time. From getting us things quickly, to setting up the cab to go into town and down to the details like making sure we had enough water and towels for our boat excursion. A tip while in Phu Quoc is take a day to go out on a boat and enjoy snorkeling and fresh seafood cooked on the spot for you. Sea Sense arranged the boat excursion for us. However, we would say skip the other stuff. Everything else (pearl tour, wine tour, etc) was just a tourist trap and waste of time. Spend that time laying on the quiet beach instead!

The entire staff were amazing. They were helpful, professional and took customer service to a new level.

The manager, Minh however was the complete opposite. She was rude, unreasonable and could not care less that the guests had been stuffed around.

We arrived at 9.30pm and checked into the Seaview Suite, prepaid. Unfortunately there was a problem with the hot water and at 11.30pm we were asked to move to one of the cheaper rooms. We moved, plop happens and sometimes things go wrong.

When it came time to negotiating with the manager Minh in relation to the hotel not providing the room that was paid for she offered resort credit, which was far less than the price difference between the 2 rooms. When I informed her that was not good enough she offered 2 free cocktails as well.
I told her that we don't drink and I told her what I thought was reasonable compensation, resort credit, less than half what we paid for the night and a free dinner for each of us. Minh was almost offended and said I ask too much.

I explained that it wasn't just the price difference but the inconvenience and hassle we went through.

She was completely dismissive of me and was quite put out that I was not happy with her "Generous" offer.

Minh has no idea how to treat guests, she only sees dollar signs. She needs a little education on making customers happy and how that leads to more dollars. Short sightedness is never good in business.

Great Resort away from the City

We stayed at Sea Sense for 4 nights during September to relax from a few weeks travelling around Vietnam. Prices are higher that mainland but still a lot cheaper than home. The food was all sensational and the staff very friendly and helpful. Would highly recommend a beachfront villa, they are massive with a great balcony overlooking the ocean. It is secluded from the main town of Duong Dong but to be honest you don't really need to leave, you have everything you want/need at the Resort, would highly recommend.

Excellent service, friendly & polite staffs

It was my unplanned trip so at midnight i booked this resort after reading some reviews and comparing a few resorts at the same star rate and then i flew to Phu Quoc in the early morning so i had no idea about the location. I booked the Suite Villa Sea View for 2 nights as i like the open air bathtub, the room was very nice with the sea view balcony and partial open bathroom but so sad that we couldnt use that bathtub because the water heater was so weak, we almost could not use any hot water in the bathroom.
Here is some reviews i would like to share:
Positves:
1. Nice, peaceful sea view, private villa. There was no disturbance during our trip.
2. The staffs were so so friendly and polite!! It will be one of the reason for me to come back again.
3. The staffs were so quick to fix all the problems for me and they shared very true experience to the tourist when i asked for what i could do & where i shoud visit during my trip. They are very professional & helpful
Negatives:
1. It's close to beach but the beachside is not so clear...
2. The road from reception to the villa, restaurant is so dark .. It was not fun at all when i walked to your room at night. My partner was so scared the short road.
3. Water heater is so weak so it's impossible to enjoy hot bathtub

While our stay was fine, i would make sure customers know that this is at best a 3 star property. While staff were friendly overall, and the staff in the restaurant and beach bar were good, the general service level was surprisingly low and in impressive (for eg, 1) phoned the reception to ask for ice to the room, was told to come and get it myself eg 2) on day of departure was hounded to leave the room starting at 1155 until we got out at 1215 which was surprising as the resort was very slow....yes their check out time is 12 ). Beach is nice for sure as was the pool, but the rest of the property was not great.

Out of the way retreat

Nice clean rooms in beautiful setting. Staff was excellent, friendly and sincere. The resort is in a less developed part of the island so facilities in that area are more rustico, including power outages (the resort has its own generators). The beach is nice with some weeds in the water (Bia Sao is nicer but has the typical Việt litter issue). Nice pool and excellent breakfast included.

Relaxing beach stay

We stayed in two beach view rooms and couldn't have been happier with the rooms. They were very spacious and the bed was really comfortable. The buffet breakfast was fantastic with lots of choices and some variety over the three days we were there. The restaurant had some good dishes and there were also other good restaurants within walking distance. The only downside was the trash on the beach, which the staff had a hard time keeping up with (apparently due to a change in the water currents). Other than that we had a thoroughly enjoyable vacation.

Great stay... staff great, food/drinks great, massage great, airport pick-up great, pool great, sunsets great..!
Only two minor quibbles - 1 - beach in some parts is a little dirty - but not so bad to ruin the idealistic ambience. 2 - there is no iron available for borrowing in your room. As I say - minor quibbles - overall a great stay! (Did I mention it was pretty great?)

Best Hotel in Phu Quoc!

Really great stuff. Amazing Hotel. Very quite nice private and big rooms. Always would come back. The breakfirst was great! I felt a little bit sick and everyone try to give me the best time by bringing me free tee to my room. We stayed in a lot of hotels and it is a little far away from the city but you can take the shuttle (but normally you don't want to leave this beautiful hotel and get into a relexing mode!).

Christmas Holiday Beachside in Vietnam

Overall a good stay at Sea Sense Resort to celebrate the Christmas holiday and would recommend to others. They had an expansive and tasty buffet to celebrate Christmas Eve set-up right on the beach. The food at the restaurant was of really high quality and very delicious with a lot of options catering to wide variety of tastes, although slightly expensive particularly compared to how cheap the Vietnamese food can be in town. The resort was a bit isolated but was perfect if you wanted to enjoy a relaxing holiday and just lounge by beach and pool all day. Would recommend the “Villa, Beachfront” over the “Suite, Sea View” as better value and directly situated on the beach.

There are better places to have fun than Seasense

Inexperienced and unaccommodating staff supervisor at the front desk. Took more than one hour to check in, Manager hiding in the back office until huge argument broke out then she came out to resolve the booking problem between the hotel resort and hotel.com. We still ended up had to pay extra. Food is ok but not prepared to Western standard. Mango Bay resort (next door) has much better food and services, staff is upbeat and very fun. Beach is calm and filled with seaweed, water is clear.

Nice hotel at quiet beatiful beach

We stayed 2 nights in december. It was very quiet. The ocean view was amazing. The beach was clean and the water clear. The staff is friendly. There is a big pool with a bar. There are beach chairs at the pool and the beach. The restaurant is not cheap but not expensive for western prices. For more traditional food you have to take a taxi into the small, not very developed town. Which is kind of far from the resort. We went one day to sao beach. It was extremely dirty and full of trash. Wished we stayed at the resort. The island doesn't offer much to do but if you enjoy a quiet beach vacation with kayaking (1st hour free) or snorkeling, massages (the spa is small but the treatment was very good and relaxing) and rooms with ocean view this resort is for you. The pearl or pepper farms aren't really worth going. We haven't tried the jungle trekking tour.

Wonderful, beautiful, relaxing stay!

We had a great relaxing, romantic stay at Sea Sense. The room was the nicest room I've stayed in with a beautiful view of the ocean. The hotel staff was very friendly and very helpful. The food was good and the massages were well priced and wonderful. The beach was beautiful, the pool was very nice, and the snorkeling was really fun too. Staying at Sea Sense was the highlight of our trip. I would stay there again and would highly recommend it to others! They also had a free airport shuttle which was an added bonus.

Beautiful resort - value for money

Beautiful resort and wonderful, friendly staff.

Room - Our room was spacious, clean, comfortable and over looked the water. The laundry detergent used on the linen smells amazing!! Room is cleaned everyday and bottled water is provided as well. There is a tv in the room with many Vietnamese channels, but also some English ones. The furniture in the room is quite beautiful - all wood. Overall, we loved the room!

Restaurant - Breakfast is very good with a lot of options. There are no cereals but they do have plenty of options such as fruit, pastries, yogurt, eggs, pancakes and more vietnamese style breakfast items. The Vietnamese coffee is divine! We had dinner one night which was good. The scallop was dry and wouldn't recommend that, but the snapper was very tasty, as was the mango salad. Overall good value for money.

Pool area - Fantastic. The pool is a good size and the bar is only a few steps away from the lounge chairs. There is a billiards table next to the bar and good music. The beach area also has some lounge chairs if you prefer the beach to the pool. We spent loads of time near the pool - overall, very good set-up.

Staff - We really liked the staff, who were professional, attentive and very friendly. We especially liked Boboy (restaurant) who was delightful. He provided us with a number of good recommendations and is just a really nice, hard-working person. His English is also excellent (which really helps) so he is your man! Overall, very pleased.

A Great Choice in PQ

It had been nearly four years since I’d been to Phu Quoc, and this time I decided to stay somewhere off of Long Beach. The Sea Sense seemed like a good choice, being on Ong Lang beach. Indeed, I was not disappointed, and this property has many things to offer its guests, although there are a few little things that are holding this resort back from a five-star rating in my book.

Let’s start with the positive. The resort’s beach is nice, clean and well maintained. It was very relaxing to spend a few hours there lounging by the sea. Likewise, the pool is also great. It’s nice that the breakfast (included) was made-to-order rather than the typical buffet one tends to find at resorts like this. And dinner in the resort’s restaurant was excellent. The bungalow was comfortable and clean.

Where the resort really stands out for me was the friendliness of its staff, who was very helpful from the start of my three night stay to check out. Some of their English may not be the best, but they tried their best and smiled throughout.

The free airport transfer was greatly appreciated.

Now let’s get to the niggling details that I would address.

The breakfast was nice, but there could be a little more variety. Also, they need to present the menu better, which was a tatty sheet of paper on an old clipboard. The dinner menu might highlight which of the dishes featured locally caught seafood.

The way the electricity in the room works means when one isn’t there, electricity is off. Not good

Well positioned hideaway

My mum and I had a fabulous time at Sea Sense. We visited at the end of our 17 days in Vietnam to chill out and from checking out other resorts came to the conclusion that Sea Sense was in one of the best locations if you want to get away from everything.
The setting was beautiful especially for cocktails by the beach during sunset. The resort also boasts a sparkling sapphire blue-tiled infinity pool, a feature not many of the other resorts nearby have. They offer free all day use of their bikes, an hour free of kayaking and have golf buggies to drive you to your cabin if you're particularly slothful.
The staff are all wonderful and really go out of their way to make you feel welcome and help in any way that can. Don't fret about some of them not having perfect English. All you need do is demonstrate a tenth of their patience and you'll have no problem at all. Our favourite staff member was a Filipino called Boboy. He made our stay at Sea Sense a truly memorable one.
Having dashed about Vietnam in a frenzy for 2 weeks we felt no great compulsion to leave the resort and only went outside once to the night market for dinner. We found the food at Sea Sense delicious, well presented and abundant. The cocktails that Selena and the bar staff whipped up were terrific and the banana smoothies sensational. They had a lunch menu that you could order anything from virtually any time during the day which was great.

New Resort is well worth a stay

This is a beautiful, newly-built resort just a few km north of the airport and Duong dong town. Exceptional service, very good meals, and well-kept beach. The pool is immaculate, as well. Reasonably priced for an international clientele. If you are in need of a rest in the sun, Sea Sense is for you!

Tropical paradise

A beautiful new resort. We stayed in a bungalow right on the beach and it was very private, with a hamock on the patio. The bed is so comfortable!
We went to Mango Bay 2 nights for food, just steps away along the beach. Food there is really nice too for a change.
A beautiful quiet beach, very clean a clear water. So warm!
We would defiantly recommend this resort to anybody, excellent value for money compared to other resorts on the island.

Huone ihan OK ja hotellialueen puutarha sekä uima-allasalue hyvin hoidettu, Wifi ja internet toimii hyvin mutta TV on todella pieni ja kanavien kuvanlaatu on todella surkeaa tasoa. Muutamia seikkoja, jotka kannattaa huomioda kohteesta:
-suihkun lattiakaivo ei vedä, joten likavettä lilluu lattialla useita senttejä eli epähygieninen ongelma
-kylpyhuoneen lavuaareista tulee ainoastaan kylmää vettä, asennettu hanatyyppi on sellainen
-ulkona ei ole mitään valaistusta useissa portaissa pimeällä, ainoastaan isommat kulkuväylät valaistu, taskulamppu pakollinen lisävaruste!
-hotelli ei tarjoa klo 18 jälkeen rantaravintolasta mitään eli asiakkaat pakotetaan kalliiseen waterfront-ravintolaan, jos haluaa syödä hotellialueella…onneksi heti vieressä on pienemmän hotellin beach-ravintola, jossa on kohtuulliset hinnat ja sinne pääsee kävellen rantaa pitkin. Tämän beach-hotellin kautta pääsee myös kävelemään oikoreittiä kylän keskustaan, jossa on paljon ravintoloita ja palveluita, matkaa noin 1 km. Hotellin virallinen ajoreitti kylään on jyrkkä mäki ja tienristeyksen jälkeen ei ole juuri mitään palveluita.

Virkelig dejligt hotel. Vi boede i en 1 værelses med privat pool. Ddjlig stort badeværelse. Lækker morgenmad, gratis lån af kajakker, flot strand og pool. Vi var der hen over nytår, hvor hotellet inviterede på stort nytårsarrangement med kæmpe gratis buffet, band, gratis øl, vin, vand og drinks, der var konkurrencer og andet.
Meget venligt og hjælpsomt personale, de skaffede os også en scooter vi kunne leje, kun 40 kr pr dag

親切でフレンドリーなスタッフ、清潔なコテージ、素晴らしいプライベートビーチ。特に水回りの設計が良く、シャワールームが水漏れしないので快適でした。
一点だけ気になったのは、朝食ビュッフェで食材にたくさんのコバエがたかっていたことです。とても食べる気になれなかったので、オープンキッチンで作りたてがもらえる卵料理やパンケーキだけ食べました。
