We enjoyed our time at the Movenpick. I think the piece that we struggled with was the front desk as we wrote to them a few times before arrival about the shuttle service and about an extra bed for the room. And while we received responses that were positive none of them were acted upon. No shuttle at the airport until we called. No extra bed in our room until we asked again at check in. In general, once you’re there everything is great and delicious. The breakfast is amazing. But I remember looking at a yoga class and thinking: there’s yoga? Front desk never said. These would be things to consider for the front desk.

The room and stay is nice BUT the breakfast situation is a complete mess, no one shows you to a table and there was dirty tables all the time not enough staff to pick the used dishes we was disgusted when asked and i had to actually speak and say it loud that this is unacceptable when we couldn’t get a table.

When actually speaking to alstaff then they cleared a table, totally disorganised

Not 5* resort,good 4 stars with varieties of breakfast,bad odours mostly every days ( stay for one week) technical problems btw very good price per night,beach well maintained,some live activities in week end .very good view from our room (residence side) Aura beach club did not respect the reservations, we end up to eat every night in Islander restaurant ( very nice staff and service), Movenpick could not compare with 5 * intercontinental resort,Anantara,AnNam in VN or Dusit Thani in Bangkok.

We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. The room was very clean with daily housekeeping and fresh towels, which we truly appreciated. We had a wonderful sunset view from our room. Breakfast offered a great variety of food for every taste, and we enjoyed it every day. The spa center was fantastic — we had massages and treatments that were very relaxing. The sea was clean and warm, and the hotel grounds are large, green, and beautifully maintained. The location is peaceful, away from city noise, yet only about 15–20 minutes by taxi to the city. The staff were kind, attentive, and always willing to help. Overall, a great experience — we would happily return.

Checking in with the size of this hotel and amount of screaming kids in reception was and experience and we thought we had made a BIG mistake.

Once we had got over the madness and slept on things actually things turned out for the better, beautiful clean room with direct access to a pool that nobody used. This felt as private as things were going to get in such a big resort (note to self, don’t book a family friendly hotel)

Breakfast I guess was the only time we were inflicted with the utter greed and madness of other people but apart from that it was a really nice base for our trip (although pricey for what it was)

Room service was reasonable, apart from being charged for milk to make in room drinks (would not expect that from a 5 star hotel) and everything else was to be expected and staff were super friendly.

Would I stay here again - No, not at that price and especially when the resort plans to extend further.

Attentiveness of staff is superb, any time you request something (esp via app) it is responded to and actioned immediately!

Clean rooms /villa very comfortable stay.

Food could be better -pizza especially lacked in flavour at poolside restaurant but we didn't often eat at hotel as city centre is not so far away.

Overall a wonderful stay.

Amazing pool and restaurants! The spa services were excellent as well. The only downside was the front desk staff — when we reported a leak that soaked our suitcase, they initially didn’t offer any assistance to resolve the issue. Other than that, we had a wonderful stay.

Lifeguard and each staff were very good. I did not like being charged for pool toys and small amenities. Waiting for the buggy was at times very frustrating. It’s a big resort. Although the breakfast was very good the first few days it got very repetitive if you’re there for a long time.

We spent 8 nights in a villa with a private pool at Mövenpick Resort Phu Quoc, but were overall disappointed. Despite the nice appearance of the property, the service and comfort were not up to 5-star standards.

We were asked to sign papers making us responsible for cleaning the villa’s kitchen and given an inventory list of every item, with fines for anything missing. This made the stay stressful rather than relaxing. Housekeeping was minimal and the location very isolated.

Positives: friendly staff, good buggy service, and a beautiful main pool and garden. However, overall, we would not choose this hotel again.

The rooms were nice and clean as was the hotel in general. I think overall the hotel itself too many rooms for the facilities provided, you have to queue for breakfast and wait for available tables, there are not enough sun beds etc. Everything in the hotel was quite expensive comparable to outside the hotel would recommend eating elsewhere. Good location for covering all the different things to see in phu quoc. Hotel is nice and grounds beautiful just not sure it’s good value compared to other stays.

We had a great time at Movenpick for a family holiday. Breakfast service was great and unbeatable. Also appreciate the free shuttle to the airport. But there needs to be more buggy services to the main gate and potentially options to hire bike as the resort is a good 10 mins away from other restaurants and massage places. But the hotel amenities were fantastic. The kids had an amazing time at the pool and the beach

Beatifully managed property, clean and staffs are helpful. Breakfast buffet had good selection and daycare for kids were amazing. Spa was great, pool was amazing. Loved happy hour at the pool side bar and good food decently priced. Wish the pool had more "programs" like aquafit or pool equipments provided for free rather than charge for tube rentals. Overall we would recommend the property to family and friends.

Stay at movenpick waa great. No hassles. Chef was friendly to cook vegetarian options in morning breakfast on whim's notice . Resort is really well placed, ambience is superb. Private beach that reaort has , is one of the best beach i have been to. Kid Zone is really well built with options of play from2 years to12 years. Lot of art and craft classes organised at kid zone which you can opt in for. High Tea Provided by resort is really nice.

I like the property especially the villas. The villa is spacious and larger than expected.
Many staffs including the receptionist don’t know English that well and it seemed to me that they were not that experienced or knowledgeable of the hotel status. We were recommended by a receptionist to have dinner at a restaurant at the hotel. But, when we get there, the restaurant was dark and empty because it was closed for renovation for 3 months. There are space for improvement for the staffs at the reception or concierge. Most staffs seems to work under pressure and there are no smile in their faces most of the time.

It’s a beauty property. The residences are set back from the ocean and overlook a lagoon and villas toward the ocean and the amenities (restaurant, beach, spa) are located over at the Waverly property which is an easy 2 minute walk or 1 min golf cart ride. The residences are more quiet whereas the Waverly is more of a resort feel.
Like any resort, prices for food are inflated and You are a bit isolated from pretty much anything, necessitating a taxi or Grab to go anywhere. Not unusual or unexpected.
The beach is beautiful and mostly clean but we noticed a lot of trash cohorted at the base of the trees hanging closest to the ocean. To be fair, the island has a major trash problem and it’s really sad. Surely us tourists are adding to the problem.
Our room smelled a bit like mothballs at first but that went away.

Lovely, relaxing hotel.

We loeved this hotel. The reception is beautiful and coming into the hotel is a treat. The room was lovely, clean and had a beautiful view.
Breakfast is well worth having, there is so much choice and options and they do eggs on request.
There is a chocolate hour every day from 3.30-4.30 which is a lovely touch.
The pool area is lovely, plenty of room and there is a lovely private beach as well. Towels are available from the pool area as well as some balls and sports equipment to play with.
The location is about 15 mins from the main town, but there is a free bus that goes into the town roughly every 15 mins from the main gate. The hotel has a buggy service every 30 mins (or just ask and they might take you) down to the main gate, or you can walk it takes about 10-15 mins. Then the number 17 or 19 bus are free and take you right into the town. Getting off at the Night Market is a good central location.
There is a brilliant gym with great facilities its a good large gym for a hotel.
Overall we loved the hotel, it was a great stay and no complaints from us!

I had an incredible stay at Movenpick Hotel in Phu Quoc. From the moment I arrived, the staff was welcoming and attentive, making me feel right at home. We had a wonderful time at Movenpick. We stayed in a 2 bedroom villa with a pool that was absolutely perfect. The property is absolutely gorgeous. The main pool was amazing and luxurious. There are 3 restaurants on the property, but Grab and taxis are available to take you anywhere.The breakfast buffet was wonderful. The property is on a private beach with sun loungers. Having said all that, the most important part is every staff member was so kind, helpful and professional. This is absolutely a 5 star resort. I would stay here again for sure. I would highly recommend Movenpick.

Everything was excellent except for the delay in the airport transfer shuttle. We were in the shuttle bus for 15 minutes before leaving the airport as the driver keep waiting for other guests which are late. (Lack of punctuality) Front desk staff are super friendly and helpful.

I was booking a room at Movenpick for 2 nights from 8/29/22 to 8/30/2022. When I booked, I paid for front Ocean views but when I was checked in, they gave me a resident suites on the property and beside the the room had a lots of bugs inside the room. I got a lot of bugs bites. DONT RECOMMEND ANYONE BOOKING ON THIS PROPERTY IF YOU PLAN TO VISIT PHU QUOC. IT WILL RUINED UR VACATION.

BOOKED FOR FRONT OCEAN VIEWS BUT END UP WITH RESIDENTIAL SUITES ROOM HAD TO PAID EXTRA MONEY TO UPGRADE ROOM.

Over priced. Design of the villa is not user friendly. bed room and bathroom is small. Very bad odor from the bathroom. no privacy at all as the villas r built very close to each other. One can literally step over to the pool next door!

Die Poolanlagen und der Strandbereich sind sehr schön. Die Zimmer sind schon in die Jahre gekommen. Der Teppich im Zimmer war sehr dreckig. Das Personal an der Rezeption ist schlecht geschult, so wusste ein Mitarbeiter nicht wo der Parkplatz für Roller ist oder wann der Transfer zum Flughafen angeboten wird.

整體來說是可以的，房間景觀十分好，床也舒適，只是隔音不太好，可能是露台的關係，附近房間有人到凌晨五點還在露台嘻笑…… 浴室的去水很慢，水壓也略嫌不夠，整體設施有點舊。
酒店員工都很友善和helpful,笑容可掬，他們都很忙碌。住villa and residence這邊比較清靜，可坐buggy到達waverly那邊，十分方便，那邊餐廳比較多。

Værelset var beskidt på trods af daglig rengøring. Personalet var dog meget søde og imødekommende. Alt for mange mennesker om det var til morgenmad, på stranden (så ingen solsenge som var spærret fra tidlig morgen) det samme ved poolen.

Dér står man kan låne cykler men det er kun inde på hotellets område.

Langt til byen. Men stranden lækker og hvis man gik væk fra hotellet kan man finde lidt hygge og ro.
