First of all, the staff in this hotel are sensational. They are truly fantastic, always happy to help, conversate and will go out of there way to help. Also the area isn't central but it is near the station (9 mins walk max) and has access to stores, food and barbers (some of these are open till late).

However, the hotel it self is not very well maintained, clear or nice. There was mould all over the toilet and bathroom, nasty marks everywhere and hair. It was not the 3 star I expect. I would go as far as to call parts of it disgusting.

Very unclean. Sheets were stained and mould everywhere. Staff were friendly and helpful and managed to get a refund on the room which was great and we immediately went elsewhere. Wouldn't recommend staying here, does not look at all like the pictures.

Clearly not as nice as what the pictures show.

Staff was extremely nice. Always patient, helpful and very nice to all of us. However, the most important part (room) did not reach of expectations. The first room had an AC that didn't work at all, so we had to change room. The AC in the second one worked but it was quite weak and took a lot of time to cool down the room. The staff was nice enough to provide us a second electronic room key so we could leave it in the slot and keep the room cool while we were out. We appreciated that. The worse part was the shower. The drain was totally clogged and the water pressure was very low. The showers were clearly not maintained. The garbage can was dirty and the general condition of the washroom just bad. They also need to clean the windows or elevator area a bit (there are traces of dirt and fingerprints everywhere)

Amazing central location for an affordable price. Located right across Eko Rimba which I recommend for the canopy walk, and only a 2min walk away from Dang Wangi LRT station which opens up all of KL for the walking adventurer.

Good location. Advertised as having airport transfer. But never responded to any emails. Had to take a taxi and was told when we got there they don't do airport transport.
Room was good but needs a small table and hair conditioner just too small. In afternoon could not cool down the room. It was worse when leaving as you have to takeout the card so air conditioner shuts off so room is even hotter when you return.

As a Housekeeping Supervisor myself I couldn’t find myself staying there as managements has done nothing to ensure cleanliness in the rooms.

Room condition was bed dusty , mouldy and unhygienic and I can definitely spot it all when I enter. Bedsheets looks like it hasn’t been washed, Pillow has terrible smell dust is visible everywhere and the bathroom mirror has fingerprints and sink is full of hairs.

Staff is helpful to accommodate me to another room but I’m not having any of it as I have booked in Oasia Suites instead.

I do not recommend staying here as refund will not be available and the cancellation policy for a hotel like this is a joke.

As a budget hotel, it's above average. Staff are friendly and helpful (though at first they gave us a no-window room before we asked for a normal room).
Another issue - my credit card was hacked and unauthorised payment made at midnight while using their wifi. I'm not sure weather or not related to their wifi router.

I booked a city view room and to my surprise I only view a not too clean window with flora deco outside the building. And the window is quite dirty tho. Toilet also can be more improved as there are dirt on the wall.

Little gem in the city centre

Absolutely love this place, it is right in the city centre, not too far a walk from major attractions with LRT and monorail nearby. The view of KL Tower from the room is amazing. Although some reviews mentioned the busy road traffic during the day, I did not have that problem as I’m staying for 2 nights over the weekend! The room itself is nicely decorated, the only downsides are the rather old and worn beddings and bath towels, give them a change and everything is near perfect! The shower door is a problem too if you are big you might struggle to get in and close the door, a sliding door is more effective in such a tight space. Also, they made up the room in the evening, I was out for dinner and came back to a tidy room, how strange! Overall, happy stay :)

I’ve stayed at flora before , it was well taken care of but this time it was horrible. Tv wasn’t working, the trees are bushy and not trimmed and the promised city view is basically a street.

The staff is very friendly and what we request provide the fast response. Disappointed is the toilet \"handheld\" shower head is not working properly. the pipe is leaking. Just able to use the \"rain\" shower head. inconvenient for us.

I arrived after 7pm at night after a long international flight, looking forward to getting to my room. Upon arrival, I was told my room was not yet cleaned, so I had to wait over 30minutes before I could check in. Must have been cleaned quickly as the towel was still dirty. Luckily the cleaning improved during my 7 night stay (perhaps it depends on the cleaning staff)
The complimentary bottled water everyday was very welcomed and appreciated.
Staff were very friendly and helpful.
Rooms are very small with paper-thin walls, so very noisey during the night, hearing people come and go.
Great location for train and monorail and the garden foliage covering hotel made it unique.

A lovely hotel at great value

Overall i cannot fault this hotel. I arrived at 2am after a long travel and was greeted with a big smile and a polite manner. The service was excellent and they were always on hand to help with any questions I had. The facilities were good and had complimentary water on arrival with a clean bed and shower room.
What attracted me was the outside of the hotel with the greenery growing up the wall, was so nice to see in real life.
A 10minute walk to petronas towers and pretty much opposite the green Eco Park, was ideal location.
I had a room facing the city and the only downside (not fault of the hotel) was the stream running behind it wasn't too attractive but above that was the city of KL which was cool.

Hotel staffs are generous and proactive. Rooms are very clean. Quite a handful of tv channels to watch. Awesome view to wake up at. I don't think many people know about this hotel. It's quite convenient - about 5-7 mins walk from Dang Wangi LRT. There's food eateries nearby.

I did not have a detailed map on me when I got off from Dang Wangi station. So, it took me a while to find my way around and the locals couldn't help me much. But it's actually an easy and short distance from the exit on Jalan Amp ang Road.
For the room, no shower cap provided. Hair dryer to be borrowed from reception.

I had booked a standard room. It’s very small and no window. First room they gave me smelled like smoke, so then moved me to another room. They room smelled like cleaning product. Then I upgraded to a bigger room with windows. Which was very nice. Staff was helpful.

Pros..Cute clean inexpensive boutique hotel. Great for backpackers and those on a budget..Cons: Bad location if you need to get a cab. Noisy. Can hear EVERYTHING in next room..very SMALL room.

Good location but needs improvement

The hotel has hospitable staff, hence the saving grace is its good service. The room is comfortable but it's noisy. Every little sound from the other rooms is audible, hence, if you are a light sleeper, this can certainly disrupt your rest. The parking is limited as the space is limited to its crowded and 'shady' basement. The road to the parking area is spooky, to say the least, since it is dark and very difficult to spot (there is a no entry sign).

The hotel looks quite new. The room also quite spacious & clean. Monorail station is about 5-10 minutes walk from the hotel, so going around is easy. But the entrance of the carpark to the hotel is from a small back lane which a lots of cars parked illegally from the morning till the evening. Therefore if driving in & out can be quite troublesome.

Easy accessibility from airport, like u just need to take a bus from KAIL to KL Central (45min) from there an LRT to Dang wani (8min) station, from there it is just 3 min walk. GOOD views, one can c Menare Kuala Lumpur right before the hotel, even petronas is within walkable range. We have Lulu mall few meters from the hotel. Nice ambience and good facilities. Batu caves is like 24 min away. Greatly recommend!!

Hotel is new. There is no writing desk and chair which is definitely needed. The shower is very small - I had to squeeze in to the shower every morning. Also hotel offers no breakfast. It is not a bad hotel, but I have stayed in better in Kuala Lumpur.

Great option near KLCC

We had a very nice stay in Kuala Lumpur mostly thanks to the advise of one of the girls of the staff, Dingling (I'm sure I'm misspelling her name). She gave us some great advise regarding places to visit, eat and how to move around. The rooms are perfect, modern and confortable. Taxi drivers had a little bit of difficulty finding the place because it is not widely known yet, but Uber and Get had no issues.

Cute, New Boutique Hotel

Great new boutique hotel with nice accommodations. It's still under some minor construction and probably opened a little early - only open for 3 months. The room was clean, shower was nice, and it came with a mini fridge and nice window view. The only complaint is that the view advertised is not of the Petronas towers but the other side of the city. Not a bad view though.

There is no airport transfer, but I took Grab to everywhere! Very cheap and easy. No food at the hotel, so please eat before arriving for night.

Even through it is close to the main street, it is very quiet in room, which is very important. There are only small things I would recommend to fix and that is all about cleaningness in room,especially in bathroom. Other than that, wonderfull.

Great location and modern

This was a nice new hotel, the facilities where quite modern and the room was clean. The room came with a nice bathroom, good air conditioning, great wifi and a fridge. The room was cleaned every other day which wasn't a big deal for me, however the room cleaning times where odd. The cleaners would always come quite late and it was usually quite awkward for me, not to mention they were lazy with changing the sheets I spilt some drink on the sheet and it wasn't changed for atleast 5 days. The bathroom was pretty good too, however I noticed some mold coming in at the top so I hope they fix that soon. I also didn't have hot water for a few days however as Malaysia is quite hot anyways it wasn't such a big deal.
The location was really good, right next to a mall and good shopping as well as a train station. Overall a pretty comfortable stay I would definitely go back again.

Great value and very well located for a short stay

We enjoyed our stay at Flora by Cross Road. We found the hotel was well located within walking distance (1-2km) of most attraction we wanted to see in KL and also very close to Dang Wangi train station which make transport easy to anywhere. The hotel was very clean, modern and comfortable for a quick stay in KL. Staff were friendly and helpful. There was no much facilities available at the hotel so you need to walk out to get food and the room are small but still well designed. We didn't find this inconvenient for a short stay and for the price we paid. I would recommend going for a short stay in KL.

Good well maintained hotel in a central location

Given the price I paid, this hotel was exceptionally good. The staff were always keen to help, day or night, and the building was kept clean and fresh. KLCC shopping centre, which is in the centre of KL, was only around 15 mins walk (less than 5 minutes in a taxi). Plenty of food places within a few minutes walking distance.

The room was comfortable and I couldn't really ask for more.

Will happily stay here again.

Good with minor caveats

Super friendly and helpful staff helped with commuting information for my 4 day business trip, and suggestions on what to see. Coffee and water heater in room, as well as clean modern room was nice. Room faces a main road and a park wall. Nice view but a bit noisy at rush hour. However, I needed to be awake in morning so that wasn't a problem. I needed to work in hotel and there wasn't a dedicated writing desk (my fault for not confirming when I reserving room) but able to pull the comfortable vinyl chair up to the low table beside coffee pot so it was acceptable. Wi-fi cut out mid-evening which was not ideal for a business travel. Room is 10 minute walk to Petronas Towers and 40 minute walk to Bird Park and interesting Islamic Arts Museum; KL is good city to walk in.
