The staff were wonderful. My room was bery clean and my bed is very comfortable. I love the fact that there is a working kitchen , I didn’t use it but was able to enjoy the unlimited cold water , crackers, and cracker nuts .

This is one of the many boutique hotel rooms in Singapore- very small and the shower door does not fully close, I am not sure why this is but it has a sign saying \"I do not close\".
There are no amenities in the room, you have to ask at reception but this doesn't mean they will send to you. The bed is very high, it is quite strange. The entire room, the decor and the layout makes it seem like a prison. I have stayed here 3 times now as it is on the cheaper side for Singapore. The area is convenient. I could no stay more than one night here.

Our room didn’t have a single window. At night if you shut off the lights it turns the outlet power off as well, we were not able to charge our phones overnight. The bathroom is tiny and we didn’t get hand soap for the sink. We booked standard room and it’s a size of a dorm room, but without any windows. There was dust everywhere, we could see it floating in the air by the lights.

I had a wonderful two night stay at Kesa House. It is conveniently located for the MRT from Changi to the hotel. There are a lot of hawker centers within 10 min walk and a great base to explore Chinatown with all the art murals. I was impressed by the friendliness of all staff that I encountered. A special shout out to Sanjay who checked me out on Saturday Oct 11. He not only stored my luggage but also gave me a lovely teacup and tote to remember my SG vacation. Very nice of him as it I left the hotel with a big smile.

Great for a quick stay in Singapore with convenient access to various dining options including hawkers and high end restaurants. The room was clean and cute. Great for a single traveler or a couple. You can also leave your luggage at the counter if your flight is late in the day and the 2nd floor lounge is super cute for a coffee break and light snack. Will definitely stay here again.

The staff were amazing and very accommodating. This is a great place if you simply need a place to sleep and are wanting to be close to amenities. It can be a little bit loud due to the proximity to businesses, but they mention that in their website. An easy fix was white noise at night. Overall very clean and all you need to enjoy Singapore.

Great location; check in was quick and easy. WiFi worked smoothly and refillable water jugs were provided with free water in the communal kitchen. However, the room was small and awkwardly set up. There is no room for a table, so I had to open my suitcase on the floor, which there was barely any room for. You also have to take a couple steps down into the bathroom which is inconvenient and becomes a tripping hazard in the middle of the night. This is also the first hotel I’ve stayed in that does not provide soap to wash your hands. When I asked about laundry (there is one washer and one dryer for the entire hotel) and if I could exchange bills for $1 coins for the laundry, the man just said that they are a cashless hotel. He failed to mention that you have to buy a token for $5 to use the token machine.

While close to three MTR stations, none is easy walkable with a suitcase. you have to go up and down steps and sidewalks are very narrow at places. The shower doors do not close completely so water tend to come out on the floor even when you are extremely careful. Legroom is very tight in front of the toilet. Common kitchen providers, snacks and filtered water, laundry and dryermachine operated by token five dollar each. Very convenient.

Friendly and helpful staff (They allow us to place our luggage in a secure location when we got there 4 hours ahead of check-in time, gave us a text message when we could check in, lend us umbrella when it rain outside, and advise us on the area's attraction to suit our need, plus called taxi for us when we check out and even turn down tip when we offered). Efficient, Comfortable, but no frill stay (Of course that comes with a reasonable price!).

I appreciated the effort to offer eco-friendly options, but unfortunately, they weren't practical. The room lacked windows that could be opened, leaving it consistently humid. (Though, to be fair, Singapore’s climate might have made little difference.)

To get dry towels, we had to get new ones daily. Even leaving the air conditioning on all day didn't help dry them out.

The hotel itself was fine . The rooms are a bit small . The staff were really good. The location is great . A short walk to the subway station. We got off the cruise ship ,500 meters to the subway and 3 stops to the hotel (just tap your credit card for the fare) . It was 1 hour to the airport from the hotel . Very close to china town and short ride to gardens by the bay . Quite ish location ,not a lot of shops around but potential noise from restaurants across the street (I never heard them).

Overall we enjoyed our stay and would recommend. The hotel is very clean, furnished beautifully, and is in a great location in Chinatown. There are a couple reasons why we didn't give this stay 5/5. First, we found the male staff who checked us in to be quite cold and unwelcoming. The female staff at the desk at other times during our stay was very welcoming and friendly. We paid extra for the 'Premier Studio' when booking because we understood it had a private terrace (as pictured). We realized it didn't when checking-in, we were informed that the fine print says the 'Premier Studio' either comes with a private terrace or extra space with a sofa. We wouldn't have booked this room if we knew it didn't have a private terrace. The room was spacious but the use of space was strange - a tiny bathroom and way too much storage for a hotel stay. We were told at check-in that our room had a coffee maker and it did not - there is a coffee machine in the public kitchen. We didn't have any issues with street noise during our stay. Overall a good experience, just be careful and check what your room includes in the fine print.

I was waiting outside the front door for about 10 min with no idea if someone was actually going to come and open the door. I had notified reception the day before that I was checking in at this time too.
Also my room was towards the edge of the hotel and I could hear the pub down the road and had trouble getting to sleep.

Kesa House is located in a very attractive area and convenient for the metro and China Town. I liked my room but found it small and the mattress was higher than other places I've stayed at in order to make storage space and there were also 2 steps to the bathroom. The kitchen was a good addition and the staff friendly. Would recommend and stay again but pay for a larger room with a view.

Location is good. Easy access from MTR station and close to a hawker centre.
However room had unpleasant musty smell and rug in the room was super dirty and did not feel clean.
I’m not a light sleeper constant 24hours sound and shake from MTR below the hotel kept me awake, and if you stay over weekend, stamping music sound from near by bar is very noticeable.

Great staff - especially the 2 Ladies on reception. We accidentally left all our valuables in the in-room safety deposit box in our rush to check out, but had everything safely returned to us when we returned to pick up our luggage. They were also very friendly and jovial. Also provided useful information on how to best get to its sister hotel (Ann Siang) walking with luggage.

This was a last minute booking and was good value for one night.

The bedroom and bathroom were a little on the small/compact size, but were adequate.

The separate kitchen and terrace facilities were a boon, as was the free coffee and snacks.

All in all a great one-night stay.

Minor annoyances - the high step-up into the bathroom. The toilet roll holder was in an inconvenient position - so we took the toilet roll off. No big deal, and other than that fine

Beautiful hotel with ideal for a solo traveller.

On the surface the hotel looks fantastic however the practicalities are where we felt let down. The hotel is decorated beautifully, the staff were very helpful and kind. I really appreciated the kitchen and terrace space.l - the water, coffee and snacks were a great touch.

The room itself was much smaller than I expected (somewhat reasonable given it is a budget hotel). The room was very cold to sleep in, especially next to the window where the bed was, meaning we didn’t sleep well. Putting the heater on to warm the room, made every surface become wet and steamed up the mirror which felt very uncomfortable. The window did not open fully meaning we couldn’t aerate the room after. The shower was very small which became inconvenient and when used, also made the surfaces and walls become damp and wet. By our second evening we felt very uncomfortable because of this.

The location was fantastic which made up for the issues with the room, ideally located for a budget traveller. I believe for a similar price we could have got a slightly better quality room. The room would have been perfect for a solo traveller but not for a couple.

Bright clean room, if a little on the small size. Surprise facilities available for guest usage were a separate well equipped kitchen, laundry room, lounge and an open air verandah! Staff were absolutely fantastic - they were unfailingly polite, helpful and fully focused on “customer care”. KeSa is also located a short walk from the excellent MRT transport system which, once you understand the transport map is extremely efficient and easy to navigate.
