Staff are helpful and friendly, and the room and shared amenities, such as the toilet, are clean.

The location is also near many dining places, such as 2 food centers to try out local delights and multiple Michelin-starred restaurants. Also, a 5-minute to 10-minute walk to a train station, which can take you all over Singapore.

Service was very good, field staff and online staff were efficient and easy to deal with. Location is excellent.
The room is not very well maintained, there are stains on the desks, in the steps to climb to the bed, the lead of the toilet broken, molds in the shower.
Very noisy, there is a restaurant across the street open 24hours they leave their music on outside until 1am.
5am starts the bip bip from trucks dropping off / picking up workers, delivering goods to the restaurants around.

I loved this stay and would highly reccomend it to anyone looking to stay a night in Singapore, particularly solo travelers. The room was clean and the bed was extremely comfy, I genuinely felt like I was back home in my own bed. The check in process was really simple and it was nice to see a member of staff at the desk to welcome everyone despite it being an online check in. The bathrooms were clean and the shower was absolutely brilliant - after a few nights before my stay here of not so great showers the one here helped me feel genuinely clean. My only issue was that my room did not have a hair dryer and I was too late to request one as staff had gone home. The location was also great with lots of Korean/Japanese restaurants nearby which opened late

The hotel location was convenient, surrounding of eatery options, and 4-5 mins walk to train station or bus stop.

Overall stay was good, just a bit surprised that they don't provide toothbrush & toothpaste, the cleanliness to be improved, hairs on the floor when i checked-in the room.

Also, the fabric blind at shower area just half length from the ceiling, i don't get it why not go for full length blinds to prevent the shower water splash and wet the WC >.<

I like this place because the 2nd floor is generally quiet and safe. since the past 3 trips, I noticed visible black mold I think? stuck in the grout lines of the shower room floors that came off when I blew water on the floor... obviously no brushing done for many months. The original design is excellent. But it needs maintenance. The facilites is bit wore down and the phone lock (open the door by ur phone) is TERRIBLE. Somehow that u go for a shower, u have to be careful that u dont wet ur phone. And after I restarted my phone. The phone key is gone. I need to do the check in all over again and the worst part is. When u typed a back date (because u have in fact checked in) The system doesnt accept it. It is kinda stupid for me. 👎

Great location to the Tanjong Pagar/Duxton Hill/China Town/Korean Town/Japan Town/Financial Districts. Walking distance to restaurants, shopping, public transportation, pharmacies, grocery stores and banks/currency exchanges. I stayed three times at ST Signature Tanjong Pagar from 9/30-10/1, 10/3-10/7 and 10/21-10/24 expecting my experience at ST Signature hotels to be positive but the concept of co-living accommodations are not for everyone. The beds are bunk style and on the floor or elevated. If you are tall or older you may have difficulty sleeping since the bed/bathroom and may bump your head occasionally when going to bed. The bathrooms are very small and the sinks/showers are very small. When using the sink, water was all over the floor. The air condition was continuous and condensation occurred on the floor and walls. I had to turn off the air condition but noticed smell of mold - I had allergies and continued sneezing. The walls are thin so you can hear your neighbor or hear the noise outside or from the bar on top of the hotel. Even though the hotel rate are reasonable, I recommend to stay with better accommodations and extras.

I recently stayed at ST Signature Tanjong Pagar and had a fantastic experience! The location is incredibly convenient, with easy access to public transport. Maxwell hawker and Chinatown complex hawker are 5mins -10mins walk away and plenty of Korean restaurants aswell.

The Hostel itself is modern and well-designed, creating a comfortable atmosphere for relaxation.The ensuite room sink can do with a bit of updating. But still ok

I did encounter some construction work in the area during my stay, which ran from 8 AM to 5 PM. While it was a bit noisy, I found that using earplugs made it manageable, if you a planning to sleep in until 2pm like me (due to Jetlag)

Overall, the staff was friendly and accommodating, and I would highly recommend ST Signature Tanjong Pagar for a great stay in the city. I will definitely stay there again.

Great concept and location. It has a shared kitchen and rooftop area. However, the corridors did smell, especially in the 100 room areas. Maybe it was another guest but it was noticeable. Perhaps instal a plug in air freshener or something to make the air smell fresh. It’s reasonably priced for Singapore. Considering staying here again for my next trip to Singapore.

Perfect location, I had a private room, super clean and cosy. It’s a contactless check in, which I hate. You have to download an app and find your booking reference, which after a whole day travelling and a phone at almost full storage is incredibly infuriating. Your phone is also your key so you need to make sure your phone is always charged. Just bring back the standard way of checking in and giving a normal key card! There was also construction right outside the room I was not told about, the windows were quite thin so I could hear all of it unfortunately. I’d also recommend providing a washing machine and tumble dryers. Other than that, I did really like this stay.

The room was worth what I paid for 3 nights, as it’s slightly better than a pod hostel as you get a little more private space.
The bathrooms were clean and nice but as my bedroom had no window, there was a strange, not so pleasant smell that lingered in the room. They could do with better ventilation in the rooms with no windows.
The self check in was also a bit of a pain but didn’t take too long to sort out.
Location was great for all the tourist places as your in the middle of 3 surrounding metro stations.

Really good for solo travelers if you're looking for a single room. The pantry is great and well stocked with plates and pots, and the place is a 5 min walk from a 24-hr supermarket with everything stocked. Would recommend male travelers to stay on the 3/F and female travelers to stay on the 2/F because that is where the showers are, even though the bathrooms on each floor are unisex. Noisy outside on Saturday nights (not sure about Friday nights) because quite a few people go to that area to party at that hour. Otherwise would highly recommend!

Better than expected!

I was really weary of sharing a bathroom since I've been at hostels in the past where the bathrooms were disgusting. But, I was pleasantly surprised here. This was a great balance where you had a private room, but shared bathroom. The bathrooms were very clean. Maybe because of the price point, this hotel perhaps attracts people who may be a little cleaner? I did have issues doing the self check-in where the app wouldn't read my passport photo even though I tried many, many times. That was a bit frustrating since it was very late at night, but someone did come out to help. Additionally, I was surprised at how steep the climb was to the bed. I'm a rock climber, and it kind of scared me a bit. If you have any mobility issues, or are scared of heights, or aren't very good at climbing up, I'd suggest you be sure you have a bed that you don't have to climb up to.

The rooms are fantastic. I was staying on the first floor but the room could not cut off the noises from the street. So I request to move to upper floor. Much quieter. The difference is air-conditioning. The lower floor is colder and the higher floor seems to be less colder even in the common area. One area that could improve is the windows of the bathrooms and toilets, it needs a fresh look over.

If you can get it at a lower price, decent value for the location and having your own bed/little private sleeping area. However, it is the size of a train sleeper car with a user-unfriendly system of doors to get through, which I found made it inconvenient to get to the bathrooms and kitchen, etc. It's also quite loud with the doors slamming all the time. There is no common seating area besides the kitchen and you're not allowed to sit on the couches on the rooftop after the rooftop bar closes. The kitchen is well-stocked. I thought the common areas were kept very clean considering how many people live there. Overall if you can get this place for about 90SGD/night or less, I think it's decent value for the cost given the location and kitchen. However, their demand-based pricing goes up astronomically, to the point where it's absurd what they would charge for such a space and I find it to be price-gauging.

In theory, this place is good. It's a decent solution between a cheap hostel and a standard-priced hotel that gives you some privacy for sleeping. The bathrooms were pretty clean most times. There's no real lobby or sitting area besides the kitchen, so there's not a sense of space inside the hotel, but it's okay. The amenities are generally nice; no problems with the wifi. Location is obviously great and very accessible.

HOWEVER, the reviews about how loud the doors are is true. There are some very simple design things that the hotel could change to make the stay dramatically better. Having to use your phone every single time you want to unlock your door is very inconvenient -- it means you have to take your phone with you every time you want to pee, shower, brush your teeth, or run to the kitchen for water -- times when you're typically carrying other things and have nowhere easy to leave your phone.
Furthermore, the door locks are set to make VERY loud beeps both when you open and close the door, meaning that you're bound to disturb your neighbors even if you're trying not to. I had to take a shower late at night and felt terrible with all the beeping of my going in and out. The doors tend to slam, you hear all motion from neighbors through the walls... A bit of thought into making the doors shut more softly, generating key cards upon check-in, and silencing the beeps or at least adjusting the volume would go a long way.
Surge pricing was also ridiculous - $70 increase

Room and deco is decent but noise insulation is pretty bad as i can hear the next door guy's snore. During the initial part of my stay I opted for a window room and given a ground window room next to the back alley where there is a public motorcycle carpark. It is noisy and annoying as there will often be peopl loitering to chat or smoke around the area and at times the motorcycles park will have their engine start up and idling waiting for god knows what and all this can be random sometimes even till midnight. Note that window room has got no tv. Downgraded mysf to a windowless room and the experience was much better and there is even a TV. Not sure the benefits for paying more for a window without a TV and getting more unwanted noose and annoyance. Toilet cleanliness is also lacking as i believe its only washed twice daily but the usage by so many occupants would definitely meant more frequent wash is required.

Stayed here for 2 weeks while my place was being renovated. LOVED everything in this place. This place is perfect if you can't afford a hotel stay in Singapore but you still want your own privacy and comfort that most hostels do not provide. Room is spotless and beds are really comfortable. Toilets are great with high-end fittings. Kitchen has everything you need, and comes with a great coffee machine. Staff are also really friendly, and they don't bother you but if there's anything you need, just drop a text on their chat platform on their website and they will respond really quickly. I would definitely stay here again, and will definitely recommend it to anyone visiting Singapore, especially for short trips.

Location is perfect too.. Less than 5mins walk to Tanjong Pagar MRT. Cheap food at Maxwell or Tanjong Pagar Plaza.. Restaurants (affordable and high end) and cafes all over. Supermarket is 5-10mins walk too. I only wish there's an onsite laundromat, but you can get it done across the road (btw Easy Wash at Tanjong Pagar Plaza is 10x better than the one across the street and cheaper too). Otherwise everything else is PERFECT.

I stayed here in a single upper cabin with window during a work trip. It was a last minute booking as the accommodation I'd booked previously was horrible. Given the incredible price, I took a chance betting it couldn't be any worse.
Once I'd navigated the online check-in, I was so relieved when I got into the room. It was certainly compact, but clean if a little dusty. I worked out from the people working on the flooring during the day that it was a soft opening (mid-Dec 2019).
The bed was accessed via a set of steps that included the desk. This made having a laptop and any drinks around at the same time slightly worrying. I certainly wouldn't recommend the upper cabin for anyone not fit/flexible/likes to drink alcohol at night. The bed itself was super comfortable and the shower was great.
The location is handy for Tanjong Pagar MRT and food centres, including Maxwell. It's easily walkable to the middle of Chinatown. On the same street there are bars, restaurants and shopping centres, including one with a Donki: good for cheap Japanese takeaway food if you're stuck/have to work late. I'm sad I didn't get to try the Heart of Darkness brewery just down the road.
The only real down side was that there was quite a lot of noise from the street. And also, as they were still setting up the facilities for leaving luggage were a bit haphazard, but staff were on hand. Bring your own lock, just in case.

Don’t go here. You can get better facilities on a normal 2 star hotel. The hotel is still under construction with dusts everywhere. This is hazardous to health. Great location, the room is small but okay. Check in and out goes smooth. Slight let down for me personally is that the woman showers are quiet dark and the steps to get in the bunk bed are not as convenient. But overall enjoyed my stay.

大廳味道非常好聞，整體環境很乾淨，但可惜隔音很一般，男生要到三樓洗澡女生要到二樓洗澡有點不方便，雖然公共區域有提供兩台dyson吹風機，但吹起來不太熱，調三格會直接過熱關機，不然整體是一級讚的

Der Check-in hat gut funktioniert und das Zimmer war wie beschrieben. Negativ war, dass das ganze Bettzeug leicht feucht und das Kissen zu dick und hart war. Zudem waren die Gemeinschaftstoiletten nicht wirklich sauber.
