I had a pleasant stay. The bathrooms were clean.
I found the bed very hard and woke up on pain, I'm a side sleeper so those who sleep on your back or front may not have an issue.

The young men who work there are not friendly and they often loud during quiet hours. It was clear that no one had swept the rooms (especially under the bunks) for a very long time—there were medications and a purse under my bunk that had been forgotten along with lots of dirt. No one seems to be in charge on site.

This property is not being properly maintained. The washrooms are not clean. The rooms are not properly cleaned. The bedsheets are old & spotted. One of the dirtiest hostel I have stayed in! Do not recommend.

Location was good as it was near China Town and MRT stations, but room condition was not good.
We booked a private room for 3. The room is small as expected, but most importantly NO windows. Felt like no air in the room and it smelled awful @@
Besides the AC and the fan installed in the room, we had to use an additional fan (a big one) to be able to stay for the nights

It's situated at a very convenient location, easy access to bus services and train. May be a challenge if you're travelling with heavy bulky luggage and being placed on the third floor.

First time in Singapore!

Excellent stay! I had my doubts because I usually don’t stay at “Hostels or Guesthouses” but this experience was nice! Clean; the rooms upstairs were very silence! I picked up a twin beds and it was nice! Cold A/C; small but is normal in Asia, so I”’ accustomed to that already! Chinatown is a block away (literally on the street behind); Chinatown food street is about two blocks; plenty of stores, restaurants near by and the Metro practically in front! I’ll definitely stay here again!

I like how close it is the the MRT and made traveling easier. The rooms and showers are nice and the room did not smell bad. Glad there was air condition and the room was nice and cool. Wifi is pretty much always disconnecting so you have to use it in the stairs or in the lobby. They let you leave your luggage in the storage for free until 7pm on day of check out or pay $2 more. Wish it can be all day since I had to carry my bag around Marina Bay Sands to avoid the extra cost. I would stay again since there was free breakfast, nice rooms, bathroom with soup.

customers are paying for air conditioned rooms, switching 3 out of 4 air conditioners off when people are trying to sleep is a nonsense... I asked for the air conditioner to be put back on at 03:00 and had to ask the staff not to switch it off at 08:00... never again

They should have said we need to bring our own lock for our lockers. But the staff were very accommodating. I would like to see more racks for hanging our damped body towels. Location is awesome as it is walking distance to hawker centers, malls, and souvenir shops

Beary good stay.

This hostel is beary good, the capsule beds hace great mattresses and power connections, very quiet and private. Breakfast is beary basic, peanut butter sandwiches on white bread and instant coffee or tea. Could be better.

God location

Perfect location in Chinatown. It is a backpack but a nice one. Ok toilets and showers. Bunk bed in a double room. Good bed. God WiFi and coffe/tea and toast and jam is ok. AC and fan in the room. Storage room for luggage when you checked out.
To be improved: more possibilities to wash your hands in the shower department. Reading lamp in the upper bed..

Really nice hostel

I really enjoyed staying here! Rooms are spacious, free breakfast is included and they have tea and coffee available for free 24 hours a day. Excellent laundry with washing machine and dryer at only four dollars. Excellent location in Chinatown very close to the Metro and local shops and for western people there is a McDonald's very close by :-)
The staff at the hostel are very friendly and very helpful
I would really recommend staying here on your trip to Singapore

Well Situated Friendly Hostel

The staff are really friendly and helpful and the hostel is in a great location, near Chinatown shopping and the train station, which connects 2 train lines making it easy to get around. Unfortunately we came just as they were fumigating which meant we had to stay out for a couple of hours and then ask for new sheets, which they were happy to provide once we asked for them. The only other problem I had was sleeping because there were no curtains to keep the room dark.

A decent place, friendly staff

Excellent location. Nice common room, simple breakfast to start the day. Rooms are very cramped when full and can be unpleasantly smelly. The staff don't always have the most professional manner when handling guest requests but they are friendly and cheerful and have good suggestions for what to see and do.
