If you have luggage, go for a bigger room. We had to move the bed to one side so that we can open pur large luggage placed on the floor. We also had issues with the TV turning on at the beginning. The location is great... In the vicinity of the major attractions we were interested.

Maid never entered room. Wanted to change towels after 4 pm. I had been out since 7am and wanted to put my feet up. TV only worked if you pulled it off wall, flipped switch, put back. Not statung here again

The room smells like sewage, it came from the shower drain, we covered it to avoid sleeping with sewage stinks. There is no ice dispenser in the hotel. The front desk staff goes missing during random times during the day without a way to contact, so have to wait around. The construction noise from both sides of the building from 8am -6pm, can’t rest during the day.

Very compact with not much room to put your gear. Pillows were a bit big and uncomfortable. Mattress OK. Not very generous with tea/coffee etc.

TV was not working. We tried new batteries in the remote but no joy. Wasn’t a major problem because we were out most of the day. (You wouldn’t want to spend a lot of time in your room.)

The hotel has an arrangement with the Budget Ibis hotel for breakfast. Wasn’t impressed with the offering for $16. Better to find another breakfast place.

Not all bad. Room was clean, had a decent shower, Staff were courteous. Reasonable price. A place to lay your head.

My wife & I enjoyed our stay at The Quay Hotel. It was within 1 city block from Clarkes Quay which has some of the best restaurants and entertainment in Singapore. This was a subway stop as well. In front of the hotel was a Hop on Hop Off stop. Accommodations were good with only one minor glitch, no bethroom plug and in the bedroom area the nearest plug was perhaps 8 feet from the nearest mirror. It was therefore difficult for my wife to do her hair using a hairdryer. Other than that we had no issues and would go back.

Great location as you can board the Singapore Hop-on/Hop-off right in front of the hotel. It's a 9-minutes' walk to Raffles Place MRT Station. Chinatown is about a 5-10 minutes' walk (be sure to check out Maxwell Food Centre).

The staff were quick to check us in. The room was equipped well; kudos for having body wash and shampoo in reusable pump containers. The AC worked just fine.

All in all, a nice stay at a good price. We would definitely love to return in the future.

Great location, bit of a noisy sleep!

The hotel is in a great location - it was easy to get everywhere! The room was clean and comfortable. However the room we stayed in must have been on the end of the building as we were kept up at night by loud bass from a neighbouring bar from 11pm until 4am one night and 5:30am another. However, as it was a short stay we managed with ear plugs!

Great place to stay to be close to the action of the Quay area and if up to it extremely walkable to all the attractions nearby. Definitely a hike in the heat, but if walking isn’t for you then close to an MRT station to make every thing even more accessible!

This property is located centrally in Singapore. Not far from many places, however the bus lane is located directly in front of the hotel thereby taxis and Grab drivers have to pick you up or drop you off across the street. Be careful in the shower/ bathroom. The floors are tiled and the shower shoots directly onto the bathroom floor making it very slippery. There aren't any dressers or counter space in the bathroom to place your toiletries. Aside from that the stay was rather nice and quiet. There are no restaurants on site but plenty nearby.

We were provided one towel each. They were clean, but grey and threadbare. Upon request, they provided also hand towels, but no more bath towels. The hand towels had holes in them. The electrical outlet on one side of the bed was bashed in and the adapter wouldn't fit. The condition of the property is not very good at all, but it is clean and in an excellent location for tourists. We decided to stay the whole 4 days. The front desk people were helpful, especially as regards to catching a ride share as the bus stop is directly in front of the hotel and no one else can stop there. Ride share must be caught in front of the bus stop.

Staff were friendly and helpful and check in was a quick and smooth process. Hotel was about a 10 min walk from the train stations and easy to find. However, I had read previous reviews about rooms that smelt musty and mouldy, and that’s exactly what I got. I had a standard single room and it was so difficult to breathe, despite the air con being on. Staff couldn’t change my room as the hotel was fully booked, but they did come to spray air freshener, which only helped for about 5 mins. I would have gone to stay somewhere else if it wasn’t so late. Definitely unsafe for your health and lungs and I wouldn’t recommend staying here. Perhaps other rooms may not be as bad, but if you get given room 407, I strongly advise you request a change! I’m just awaiting to see if I can receive any compensation for it.

I enjoyed my short stay at the Quay Hotel, it's clean and comfortable with friendly, helpful and accomodating staff, for an English speaking foreigner there were no language barrier as the staff were multilingual.

This property was within walking distance to everything I needed from the Merlion Park, Chinatown, Gardens by the bay and finish off with a visit to Lau Pa Sat...with dinner and shopping, Satay Street...a must when visiting.

The entrance may appear a little surprising at first, but once you looked past it and embrace the downtown area its a lovely little nook, I truly enjoyed my time in Singapore and the comfort of the Quay Hotel.

The hotel is in a great location, we walked to Gardens by the Bay and Little India and it's very close to Chinatown area. The bed was fine but a bit creaky, room is compact but perfectly adequate and shower room was great. It's excellent value for the location, only downside is the nightclub very close by - unless you like very bad karaoke blasting out into the early hours!

The quay hotel is in a great location next to tourist attractions and Singapore river area ! Hotel room is very small but well kept ! Staff members are very friendly! They got a laundry room on the top floor very nice! Front desk employees are very kind and helpful! Hotel amenities are limited but price is affordable for the area you staying at ! This hotel was in a great location. The hip on hop off bus and other city transportation was just outside the lobby. Walking to restaurants and other sights was easy. The hotel room was clean but very small. Amenities included a hot pot, house shoes, and toiletries. There was also a hot and cold water device to refill water bottles or make cup of hot beverage.

This property is in the middle of Singapore and is great if you want an area where you can get around everywhere in Singapore! These rooms are great for a couple of nights and the location you can’t beat it. One thing I didn’t notice is that all rooms are not the same and a little different. We booked 4 rooms that were suppose to be the same but the varied a little in style and space.

The location was outstanding. We walked everywhere and if we wanted a bus it was just outside the front door for those rainy times. China Town was an easy 10 min walk. The Riverfront walk was so close and a great walk at night. For us it was perfect.

We stayed for four nights in a room facing the street. Although there are bars close by and a bus stop out front, no noise reached our room.
Hotel is centrally located and within walking distance to many tourists areas.
Room was large and very clean.

Even though it was months earlier when we discussed transportation from the airports to pick me up..They were prompt! The one was very nice and clean! With small fridge and air conditioning! Would definitely stay here again!

Good value for the price. Dining options for a GF person was limited in immediate area although found around town using public transportation or long walk. Public transportation is right out front of hotel ( bus stop) so there's always folks hanging around during the day and early evening. Overall, place is quite,clean and has on site laundry.

This is not a five star hotel but gets five stars for being exactly what is advertised. For a one night stay we went with a very cheap “no window” room. The room was small as expected, but cleaner, newer and comfier than expected and the location is brilliant a two minute walk from boat quay.

We booked a very budget room with no windows and were pleasantly surprised at the size and amenities in the room. Room was clean and with no windows it stayed dark in the mornings. Great hotel choice for a couple of nights stop over if you are on a budget.

Hotel was very small and basic, room size was good with a very low bed big enough for us and our 3 year old. Being on the second floor there was loud street noise all night long. Ear plugs were provided but didn’t help our 3 year old sleep and it did not get quiet even overnight. Wouldn’t stay again even though location was walking distance to hawker markets/quay
