It’s very loud if you stay in the single rooms on the 5th floor. The rooms are very small and walls super thin; starting in the early morning you’ll hear a bunch of doors slamming in the hallway as people wake up. I’ve never had this issue in any other hotel I’ve stayed at. They should install soft close mechanisms for the door or put up signs to remind people to shut their doors quietly.

Also keep in mind that if you’re on the side facing the Main Street, you’ll hear the fire station alarm go off and street music throughout the day and up until about 11 pm. Not sure if the noise is better in some of the higher/bigger rooms.

Other cons: no TVs or mini fridges in room. You have to use the hotel communal kitchen, and it’s not apparent if it’s stocked with silverware.

Location wise, it’s perfect. Staff are friendly and helpful.

Location is great- Right inside the mall with many dining and shopping options, close to MRT, walking or biking option to Marina Bay and other city areas. Room small but clean, staff friendly, convenient laundry service available. The only issue is that shower splashes everywhere and floors and even toilet all get really wet.

This hotel is in an amazing position. Inside a mall full of good food outlets and close to City Hall station. Walking distance from the river. The rooms are small but nicely designed and very clean and comfortable. The breakfast is very adequate and the staff uniformly friendly and kind.

It’s a good place to stay with underground connection to city hall and close to Clarke quay and Chinatown. However the design of toilets and shower isn’t good with the toilet getting wet when you take a shower and there was a persistent smell from the toilet. Breakfast was manic with very few seats.

We had an excellent stay at lyf Funan in the 2 of a Kind room and couldn’t have asked for more. Everything was nearly perfect from start to finish. The room was spacious, clean, and quiet, with great views and a well equipped kitchen that made our stay extra comfortable. The bed was cozy, the layout was smart, and housekeeping clearly did a great job.

The hotel’s central location inside Funan Mall is a huge plus. Convenient for shopping, dining, and getting around the city. Breakfast was good and satisfying, and the overall vibe of the hotel felt modern, relaxed, and welcoming.

There were just a few very minor hiccups: the half shower door allowed water to escape, especially with the teens, the vanity lighting was a little dim, and the power outlet below the sink made it tricky to keep an adapter plugged in. That said, these were small issues and did not take away from our overall experience.

We truly had a wonderful stay and would absolutely recommend lyf Funan to anyone looking for a stylish, comfortable, and centrally located hotel.

Location is amazing. Room was clean and staff were very helpful.
We stayed in a 4 bedroom apartment as a family of 5. It was nice to have separate bedrooms as well as a central dining and kitchen area, and 2 bathrooms. The only thing that was strange was that the entrance to the bathrooms did not have doors. This meant that you had to get changed after a shower in the shower which was not ideal. I can’t imagine a situation (travelling with family or a group of friends) where it would be ok not to have door here.

The check in process was smooth and the staff was very helpful. I was half an hour early and the room was already set up. The breakfast was a nice addition. Even though, it's continental breakfast it still came with one hot food option. The dining area is clean and welcoming along with the staff!

The room was clean and well equipped! The layout of the room was convenient and also spacious.

The location of this hotel is located in the heart of downtown inside the mall so getting around was super convenient. I'd stay at this hotel again and would highly recommend them too!

This is my 3rd stay in Lfy funan. Sadly it was not up to the usual standard in term of staffs and service. Check in was very slow with ONE staff serving a long line of customers. Online check in machine wasnt working well and after filling in all details, i still have to queue up at the one staff counter to check in.
All the staff are very young and inexperience. They are not very helpful and lack professionalism. Didnt bother to inform me that free breakfast is available on weekdays either!
The kitchen which was well stocked previously now lacks most common ingredients. I wanted some salt but can't find any in the kitchen. The staff at the reception said i will have to pay for it! A teaspoon of salt...whats the point of having a kitchen when basics are not catered for!
The room is also getting very tired looking and in need of updating and deep cleaning (bathroom).
Wont be staying here again, shame, location is excellent!

Staff and rooms were excellent. Great location to explore with a ton of food options. Area is walkable, safe and plenty of places to shop and explore. It was hot as expected so drinking liquids is a must, and there are plenty of spots to stop to get a drink. I would definitely stay here again. The only negative is the fire dept being across the street, which our room was facing, and given this is a decent size city- they have a lot of call which includes a lot of sirens at all hours. It wouldn't stop me from staying here as the staff, rooms and area heavily out weigh any noise around.

At first I thought it was a bit youth-hostel-ish, but I really came to like my room. It was quirky and pretty cute.
I liked the rainfall shower head, and having the shower and toilet closed off from the sink meant that one person didn't have to wait for the bathroom while the other showered, and also that the mirror didn't fog up (which is usually really annoying). The free breakfast was cute (even though I didn't get the chance to really have some) and the communal kitchen was a really interesting touch i havent seen in other hotels. My only real want was that i think the room could have had a mini-fridge, mainly just so we could have cold water. I also would have liked the room to have a few tea-bags or something already in it, but it was easy enough to grab them from the communal kitchen. I was also a bit dissapointed i didnt get much of a view from our room, but the beds and the room itself was very comfortable.
Also those chalk boards were really cute lol.

I had platinum card at ASR, but because I booked from hotels.com, I cannot enjoy any benefit, which is quite disappointing.
During my stay, there was a property show reserved in the common area, which is not convenient for me.
This hotel does not have swimming pool, and the gym is very very limited.
The good thing is that it is in good location and offer free breakfast buffet during weekday mornings.

Ceci n’est clairement pas un hotel, au mieux une auberge de jeunesse améliorée. Le lieu est dans un centre commercial, tout est sombre et insipide, complètement déprimant. Les chambres sont sans intérêt, les parties communes sont quasiment sans lumière naturelle. Le lieu est surtout fréquenté et à destination des jeunes qui voyagent en sac à dos, ou des jeunes travailleurs sans trop de moyen. Bref si vous cherchez un hotel passez votre chemin, vous trouverez mieux au même prix dans les environs.

Womderful hotel that is central to all the major points you’ll want to see while in Singapore (Merlion, Raffles, Boat Quay, Marina Bay, Gardens by the Bay)

5 minute walk to metro station (outside or via underground pedways).

地下鉄の駅とも地下で繋がっており、階下にはモールがあり、とても便利な立地条件でした。

Funky hotel right inside the shopping mall, which is a bit unusual. Took us a little bit of time to orient ourselves and find the entrance coming from MRT station - there’s an underground link to the mall, and then gotta follow directions that hotel sends. Location is very convenient and walkable to the marina, which is especially pretty at night with all the light shows. Rooms are small but that’s Singapore ☺️
